I recently found myself admitted to Mahkota Hospital due to a severe migraine, and I must express my gratitude for the exceptional care and support I received during my stay, particularly in Ward 9.Nurse Linda and the entire team in Ward 9 went above and beyond to ensure my well-being. Nurse Litta, in particular, demonstrated unwavering dedication and compassion in her care. Her attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine concern for patients like me were truly remarkable. She not only attended to my medical needs promptly but also provided much-needed emotional support, creating a comforting environment during a challenging time.The overall atmosphere of Ward 9 was remarkable—clean, organized, and conducive to healing. The staff's collective effort in maintaining a high standard of care while fostering a supportive atmosphere did not go unnoticed.My experience at Mahkota Hospital, especially in Ward 9, was reassuring and comforting, largely due to Nurse Linda's exceptional care. I would like to thank Dr Chan and his team for the successful TKR surgery. He is very proficient, professional and yet humble! I don't encounter much pain after the surgery and I am recovering well. Thank you very much Dr Chan! Highly recommended him !! Would like also to thank the staff of ward 7B who are friendly and helpful. However noted that there is insufficient walking frame during my stay. I've limited mobility and this creates inconvenience for me as I have to share with other patients. This should not be happening! Overall the rooms are newly refurbished and very comfortable. Thank you!

5 star service by Dr Wan ( Gynecologist ) and Dr Loo ( Pediatrician ). Baby delivery went on smooth, special thanks to all the lovely staff at Level 2 ward for their utmost kindness and pleasant hospitality throughout the 2 days there. Dr’s were very professional from the very start till the end. Thank you again and highly recommended

We visited this hospital for outpatient treatment. They have refurbished the interior and looks better than our last visit some years ago. Counter staff were courteous. Doctor was helpful in explanation of the condition and the MRI scan was done efficiently at comparatively reasonable cost.

The staff nurses here are very friendly and jovial, ever ready to help. Old building but well-refurbished. Services are excellent with affordable price. Nursery staff nurse came to ask for suggestions or feedback but can't think of anything that they should improve 🤣

A revisit to Dr Lam since year 2019. Arrived about 7:50am on Saturday and the registration counter alread full of people. Waited about 30 mins for my turn. Direct went into Cardiolgy Unit, reception was friendly. Dr Lam, as before very patience to explain in details for the things I need to know. Done my Stress Test (level 6 in 17 mins) and Echo. Report is very good, according to Dr Lam and need to go back only after 2 years :) . The chief nurse (I guess, based on the color of the uniform), did not ask for her name, is very efficient and friendly to handle the reception area. Thank you Dr Lam and the nurses.

Comfortable environment and courteous personnel. There room for improvement for test screening arrangement. Not so effective, longer waiting time. Need better coordination.

Their bed was comfortable compared to other 2 big named hospitals. Had abit of difficulties in communication due to some nurse can't speak English. But I will definitely chose here again. Plus they offer menu to chose for every meal.

It's my first time to have health screening at their branch! I can say that their service is superb! The nurses are nice, the doctor is helpful, the staffs are polite! I strongly recommend purchasing their health screening package since sometimes they will do promotions. Remember visit their website to make an appointment!

This crews (room 209 and 210) was so amazing and helpful. Always interact with them on quarterly basis during my appointment. There are truly an asset to SJMC

Feeling blessed to get my treatment in SJMC. The service is good. My doctor is Dato Yip, she is superb, professional and efficient. I also want to express my “thank you” to all the nurse/staff i met along- department imaging, biopsy, operation, ward, educator and etc. They all are very caring, professional and always carry smile on their face. Thank you for everything, I feel safe, i been taking good care there. Definitely will recommend SJMC to others.

Went to see ER doctor for emergency situation. My husband had been exposed to a fungus which affected other’s.. we already had a good idea of what was going on. A fungal infection of the lungs. We told him everything which he wouldn’t listen to any of our thoughts. Cough, severe weight loss severe pain in chest, couldn’t hardly speak or even walk! I could go on with the symptoms but the end result was. He said stop smoking… which he did instantly but only got much worse. Within two days I took my husband to another hospital where they looked at his throat/did ct scan and could clearly see a fungus covering his throat right off the bat! (the Adventist doctor could have also) takes 30 seconds to see. John is now in the ICU at another hospital extremely sick. I’m more than outraged! It would have only taken an open mind (LISTEN TO YOUR PATIENTS) Be careful because going here could possibly cost you your life! I felt the doctor was arrogant acting like he knew more about what his symptoms were than my husband! At one point even saying you have TB which has never been the case (20% of lung fungal infections are misdiagnosed as TB on lung x-rays), something I read later. I implored him to look into a fungal infection but he refused. Blaming John for being a smoker. We paid cash for this service which put my husband in a life n death situation. Read the complaints on here I’m not alone!

- Great body screening experience, with comprehensive type of screening. - Convenience as a open on Sunday. - suggest to come earlier before 8am, in order to complete the test earlier n avoid long queue. - Dec month usually is peak month n long queue, so try make appointment for other months

Attended my usual annual health screening as this is one of the best wellness centre in Penang. Superb satisfied with the professional service, friendly staff, comfortable environment.

High-end & premium hospital with very poor services. Everything is slow and unsystematic. Average waiting time is around 1hr ++ at each location (from at the clinic reception, meds collection at the pharmacy) The clinic receptionist were very unprofessional, loudly gossiping about their other colleague at the front desk area, I can clearly hear what they were talking while I was sitting at the other end of the room. There are more than 4 counters at the pharmacy but only 1 pharmacist was on duty at a time to hand over meds to the customers. I think the service at some gov hospitals are far way better than here.

Exellent service, all the staff, nurse and the doctor are amazing, you know that the are working wholeheartedly. The hospital is clean, treatment is done with procedure which make patient not waiting to long.

You can be in pain in comfort. The service is always efficient, with friendly and comforting nurses and doctors. There is a porter man that will accompany and bring you to xray places. The menu is always yummy and you can choose your food from the menu one day ahead. Everything is healthy but flavourful. The room is a single room with a sofa bed for someone to accompany you. Since I am covered by insurance, the cost is not under me, but I have to be referred with a referral letter and admitted. Otherwise, it would be quite costly to be treated here.

Have been coming here for one year plus for various reasons but I absolutely dread it every time since I would end up waiting for over an hour just to meet my doctor for 5 minutes and then the payment would take over an hour after that. Recently it has gotten so much worse. Doctor asked me to do an MRI for my ankle and they told me to be there an hour early. In the end, I had to wait for over an hour just to be transported to the MRI center. The person at the registration counter at the MRI center was really rude and gave me judgemental looks too. I was then asked to make a follow up appointment to review the MRI scan with my doctor. I tried to make an appointment online through their system but didn't get a response from them then they suddenly called me on the day itself and asked "are you coming for your appointment right now?" when I wasn't notified that my appointment is confirmed so I couldn't make it. I tried making an appointment online again, but didn't get a response through email or call. I tried calling them but was put on hold for over 15 minutes and when I finally got to talk to someone, the call got disconnected.

Was given appointment at 4pm but waited till 8pm. When ask, nurse give a very stupid excuse 'first come first basis'. If first come first basic then WHY GIVE TIME AND ASK NOT TO BE LATE???? This is ridiculous! So call private hospital but system sucks!!!! Is worse than government hospital. So many bad reviews with regards to waiting time, nurse rude and yet no improvement. Respond to review was 'cut and paste'. The management, please look into it seriously!

I m very disappointed with the system of client appointment at this hospital. Totally waste of time! 3 times was here, and all times I spent 2 -3 hrs!!! Where doctor see me only for 3-5 min. So much time takes to register, then to wait the appointment (initially the appointment was fixed, but always have to wait). And then to wait to pay for appointment. Second time the doctor was very rude when I asked him about my problem. Then he says “why I have to repeat so many times to you to understand..”. I was really trying to understand that I need that surgery he was suggesting me.

The toilets are in a deplorable state. When you insist on face masks but do not provide the basics of toilet paper, soap and hand dryers/hand towels, it is sad! Also most of the chairs provided for patients are broken, torn and totally uncomfortable. The height is too low especially for senior citizens. The staff is great. So is the service but the facilities just fall short.

Went to to do MRI recently. The nurse that attended to me at the counter ( I totally forgot to take her name) was so nice and provided good customer service to me. Keep it up! and thank you.

I was involved in an accident and the ambulance immediately took me to Putrajaya Hospital around 8.00am. My face was full of blood because I fell and rolled from the motorcycle but they only wash the wound at 1.30 pm when the wound and blood have already dried on the face. The time taken to complete the treatment is 8 hours (8am to 4.30pm). ] It was a painful and very very unpleasant experience. However, I have to admit that the services given were really really good. They really take a good care of me and run all possible tests. The nurses, doctors and their medical staff were really good. They check on me from head to toe to make sure everything were good. The only unpleasant experience is about the waiting time .. it was so painful ... KKM please rewards all the doctors properly.

Alhamdulillah, I am very grateful and delighted for the care, professionalism, and wonderful hospitality during my stay at KJMC from 27/9/23 to 28/9/23. First time in my 40+ years of life admitted to hospital and I was super scared and anxious. Big Thank you to Dr Roslan Abd Halim (O&G), Dr Abdul Raof and team for helping me to go through it smoothly. What I am in awe was... there is an ustaz that recite prayer/ Doa together with me before going to OT and immediately I am feeling more calm and relieved. Thank you so much KJMC 😊🤲🥰

Bad experience. On Tuesday 5/12 morning, got confirmation to review my result for health screening on Wednesday 6/12, but suddenly on tuesday afternoon 6.00 pm received another message from upsc said cancel that appt change to Thursday 7/12, reason doctor on medical leave. Oo please la, where the replacement doctor. I take my AL to attend that appointment but noting. Today i re ask the hospital for confirmation, no feedback. Confirm or not i not sure, the doctor still on leave or not still no feedback. UPSC please appreciate people time, waste my AL for something not confirm.

Had a not so good experience appt. I buat health screening tapi, the Dr x explain or advise on the body composition, bmi, fat and management of diet. Dr not fully use all the diagnostic test for weight management issue. First 2 follow up ok, then being cancel last minute, meet another Dr, the Dr advice just follow up with previous Dr for any medicince adjustment. Then, esok nak jumpa Dr, appointment cancel. Cancel macam tu je, x de respect people time. 😑Please do improve and respect other people time. Whatsapp pun kadang x de respond.

I've done a hand surgery by Doctor Teh Kok Kheng. Doctor was super friendly and knowledgable to explain everything in a casual way, even play my favourite Hong Kong singer - Alan Tam songs throughout the surgery process to calm me down, my blood pressure was drop immediately from 196 to 140, haha. Therefore, I highly suggest that hospital should allow to play some music while doing treatment, it's a super efficient way to calm a patient, trust me! Nurses and staffs are very friendly as well, the whole process goes smoothly and I am very satisfied with the service so far. Thank you doctor and the team!

Everything was great. The place and environment really good and have the best doctors. But, I get different information from clinic, MRI and cashier staff. It’s not synchronize. Communication between them is bad. It will be the 5 star if, all the information and system are standardize. Thank you

I have been asking for my medical report that supposed to share via email last week. It's been 3 weeks since I have visited the gynae there and already called thrice to check the report status but no proper response from the clinic. Every time the answer is doctor is reviewing the report and we will call you by TODAy!!! But it never happened until today. Very disappointed with the service.

I am a stroke patient here since August 2023 and I have been doing my physio treatment at Bukit Tinggi Medical Centre, Klang. I am under the care of Ms Sharynn. She offered her assistance and expertise in her duty of work. Under her care, I got a very speedy recovery and I am very happy that I am able to walk very fast and stable. I like to thank her and her whole department assistance offered to me. All of them are very friendly and helpful.
