My brother had a full knee replacement at Southern Cross on Tuesday 17/08/2021 and was expected to stay in hospital until at least Thursday 19/08/21. At 11.59pm that day New Zealand went into a Level 4 lockdown. What was Southern Cross Invercargills answer to that? They tried to send my brother home on Wednesday morning 18/08/21 saying the hospital was closed. Where is the duty of care to the patient? He was in a high level of pain and believe it or not without COVID!!! The CARE factor is zero. Even the Surgeon wouldn't carry out face to face assessments! Very, very average, Southern Cross!

Was a great stay. My surgeon was amazing and done an excellent job of my knee replacement. The staff were kind, caring, helpful and compassionate. Food was amazing, great selection tasty and very nourishing. I like that they cater to all food groups. Best hospital experience ever 😊

Shout out to Ward One. Spent two days there after surgery. From admitting to discharge everyone was knowledgeable, capable and kind. I found the rooms were amazing, far exceeded my expectations. Special acknowledgement to my nurses who went above and beyond.

Its an amazing 👏 hospital. I had day surgery and all the staff treated me with great care and respect. I was always updated on what was happening and how long each process would be. Food was yummy too 😋. Tip: they usually give out WIFI password at admission but if forgotten, just ask and they'll share.

Not the first time I've been in here but as previously even though it was for an operation all the staff right through from reception to orderlies, nurses, doctors and anaesthetists all made the experience stress free and even, although it might be a strange thing to say, enjoyable. I was here for my first operation. I was a bit nervous, but all the staff made me feel at ease. Couldn't fault a thing. Operation went well, aftercare all organised.

I have just got home from a 3 night stay at Southern Cross Hospital in Wellington after a scheduled operation. I was blown away by the skill, care, attentiveness, professionalism, kindness and generosity shown by ALL the staff. It was very conducive to facilitating a fantastic recovery. The food was wholesome & delicious and I wanted for nothing. They were welcoming and relaxed as other family members visited and I am so grateful to have had the pleasure of such fine care...and very pleased I didn't cancel my private health insurance when I was about to need it the most! It depends on the staff you get as to how you are treated. I got barked at by the cook who I seemed to annoy as I’m lactose intolerant. The wait of 5 hours for surgery is not appreciated

Absolute best service and care taken with me. I had my gallbladder removed here and the service from the moment I walked in the doors to the moment I left was the absolute best. Every person there gave me such extreme care. Not to mention it didn't feel like a hospital but a warm environment. The food is remarkable and the rooms are so so warm. Best experience!!! I had key hole surgery on my knee Friday 27 October 2023. Level 3 What an amzing group of medical professionals. They took such good of me. 5 stars ain’t enough for this place. Had surgery here years ago and a recent one 2 months ago for my mum. Their staff is what makes this place different from others plus their facilities and cleanliness are top notch. Staff always attentive, accommodating, and takes care of you the moment you walk in that door until the day you’re released. Amazing!

A great choice out in East Auckland. The staff provided all the required information prior to the day, so we had the required information. Plenty of free parking outside, with a 5 min drop off/pick-up area too. Reception is on Level 3 via the elevator and they had a cafe and pharmacy on Level 1, which is handy, as you can pick up your medications also. Staff are really friendly and look after you

I had a Gastroscopy for a week and received very poor treatment. both doctors and nurses. showed he seems mentally unbalanced. treats people degrading situation. without explaining what they should do.

Has from previous injuries very good experience with the Ringvollklinikken in Hobøl. The choice was therefore easy this time too.. But the department in Oslo is a disaster.. I come for a consultation once and go again with the feeling of not being heard.. I go to the physio, but it doesn't get better.. Physiotherapist has tried to get in touch with the doctor / orthopedist many times.. Promises that he will call back, but never lets up.. for several weeks.. It will be exciting to hear what they say tomorrow.. 6 weeks with very poor sleep..

Very clean and professional western hospital with high tech equipment, unfortunately i had to visit. My doctors english was not so good and the nurse that had to give me an infusion missed my vein 5 times which was annoying and hurt. After visiting and receiving tons of medication i felt better tho

Was supposed to get a referral for an X-ray, it never happened.

Suddenly got an invoice for a summons that I didn't receive, and therefore I didn't show up. They say they sent a letter, which I obviously didn't receive. I didn't get a phone call or text either. When I called to explain the situation, they were very rude and insisted that it was not their fault that I did not receive the summons and that they did not have time to discuss the matter with me. Then suddenly they hung up. Now I have received a debt collection notice for an invoice for a doctor's appointment that I did not know about. This is by far the worst customer service I have experienced in my life, especially in healthcare. They are not interested in helping people. They are only interested in money.

Very satisfied with how I was met all the way from the first meeting until the operation was completed. Of course I was nervous about surgery on my knee, but the professional staff were safe and relaxed and I felt seen.

I had an operation at Aleris yesterday, visited there another day to plan the operation as well and have returned home with a safe and good experience. The operation went well, I have been given lots of painkillers so I don't have as much pain as I might have imagined. No doubt that I will return here if I sustain such an injury again, and would also recommend it to others!

On 21.01.2023 I had broken my arm. I paid 4000 krons to this hospital but till now I dont get my Bill so I can get this money from my insurance.

Visited here on 13th March 2023 as my mum had wrist fracture. Overall it was a good experience. Dr Dana and her team, emergency department staff and x-ray staff were very professional and helpful. They did tell us where to make the payment. However, the amount to be paid was a bit confusing. Regardless of what the doctors did, the amount were the same for the first day and following day. If you need immediate assistance, go to their emergency department (legevakt) instead of the main entrance. Search for "Tromsø kommunale legevakt" on Google map.

Very good hospital. I had a triple ankle fracture in September. Everybody is speaking English. Surgery was done perfect! Medication was very good, i felt nearly no pain! Recovery is really good, i can go cycling again.

Staff is super slow. You may book an appointment and then wait for hours. And every time they Will day that you is a next one. For payment l, minum half an hour waiting for then to make up an invoice. Very dissapointing service, but specialist doctors are generally good

I had an appointment at 19.00 but waited for two more hours to visit the doctors, already checked each 30 minutes to the nurse for the appointment, and the nurses were very unfriendly & unsupportive. Very bad and unpleasent customer experience.

Overall great doctors and nurses, but extremely poor management. Especially when it comes to insurance payment, expect you'll spend at least an extra 1 hour to get your number to be called. If you need to be hospitalised, this is one of the hospital you need to stay away from, especially when it comes to food allergy. Perhaps they never put patients' food allergies in the system during their hospital stay. In my case, what allergies you have, that's what they going to feed you. Not sure what the purpose is, probably an extra bucks from allergy medications they'll prescribe, unless you starve yourself during your stay. On top of that, any treatments which requires insurance approval will be only submitted after 11:00AM, once a day. If it's emergency, you definitely will get worse while waiting or even loosing your life while staying in the hospital. The same story when you'll be discharged, expected to spend longer than 6 hours to finally be able to leave the premises due to their horrendous insurance handling procedure. Next time, think of other hospital options before admitting yourself to Eka hospital and its chain, unless there's no other private hospital in the area.

Located just on the street side and near to the toll gate. Relative small for its building and its parking area, but very crowded... therefore, be ready for long que and stuck each other. The service of the nurse and doctors can be categorised as good. It has several facilities like Lawson store, restaurant, and Puyo outlet. However, as there are so many people compared to its space, so you would see too many people pack in a limited space, you may not easily to move or can find a place to seat. The doctor is very nice in explaining and giving solution, he would give solution for non medical solution, so we can do it by ourselves without need to use the hospital services The specialist rate is around 400 to 500 K for consultation, beside there is administration fee of 60K too.. I went there to consult with specialist doctor for my kid. We had to register and fill online form before come, to get the slot appointment. When arrived, we need que to inform the front desk before go to the policlinic to have the number for the doctor.

Online appointment system practically useless since we are required to wait and register again before we can go to the poly. In addition, payment also takes long time even after being seated or called to the counter. The design or layout of the hospital is also very flawed resulting in low accessibility even for non-sick people. Don’t let fancy decoration fool you. This hospital need major improvement. EHCBB Should try to learn from Siloam hospital for this matter 🙂

This hospital is most comfortable hospital near my house. The staff very helpful and full of smile. Nurses are very kind to patients. And it has a clean environment.

I don't usually leave a bad review, but I gotta write this one — the ICU guy that was assigned in the 3rd floor was really such a jerk and very rude, in contrast with the other staff! In no million years way I would recommend my family, colleagues, and friends this hospital anymore — that is how offended I really am!

Really like the ambiences and all the high-tech tools. All doctors looks very professional as well. However, the waiting time is really pain! Appointment by 11am, but the doctor is not available. Hence, no one from the hospital informed, let alone check the reschedule possibility. I have to wait for the other doctor until 3pm-ish (which I totally understand for the on-the-spot patient SOP). However this wasting of time could be avoidable if they informed properly
