Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) treatment in 70 Cardiac surgery clinics in Europe with additional parameter

I had a good experience with Mayo Clinic's cardiology service. From my initial inquiry, the cardiology team provided thorough explanations and reassured me about every procedure. The communication with the nursing and cardiac physiologists was excellent. I'm grateful for their professionalism and look forward to my tests next year.

Doctors are nice once you get there, but the administration is horrendous. Sometimes I have had to wait over two days to just receive a call back about booking an appointment. This is not something I would expect from the NHS, let alone an expensive private clinic. I have to call multiple times just to remind them to call me back, and god help you if you miss their call

Very expensive for not a full suite of tests. You just get told to exercise, take vitamins and reduce your weight and they may well not get to the bottom of your problem, unless you're happy to pay 'the sky's the limit' for all the extras. Communication is poor, staff foreign but pleasant.

Terrible experience, completely incompetent.

I'm writing this review after 5 hour's of waiting. This is not acceptable. To establish a simple electronic waiting room system is not a big deal for a small ambulance, for the institution as this one, it has to be mandatory.

Just a gray place, inside and out. I have to come every three months for micro catheterezation treatments for my heart and lungs. Tip: Please do stay healthy so you can avoid this place.. .

My dad was admitted to this hospital for a heart problem. He was treated as professionally and quickly as possible to resolve his situation. Just thank the medical staff, all very kind.

Would like to say huge thank you to all the personal. This week my 7 years old daughter had a surgery (pacemaker) and all went well, despite we are not Hungarians but from Ukraine, we had the best treatment here. Everybody here is very professional, very kind and nice people. Wish you all the best, keep doing amazing work

Every hospital should work like this, with staff like this. They are helpful, understanding, supportive and professionals in their profession. You can easily trust them. And yes, sometimes you really have to wait for hours, but you have to prepare for it this way. We can be sure that they will do everything for us

It may sound strange, but it was a positive experience to have a short treatment and then to experience the professional operation of one of Hungary's leading hospitals, the true professional teamwork of dedicated young doctors, nurses and administrators. It was an uplifting feeling to feel this positive, serious, focused, tense atmosphere, as they work tirelessly for the benefit of the patients 12 hours a day. Special sincere and grateful thanks to Dr. Zoltan Salló for his kindness, attention and professionalism!

Of course, there is no doubt that the knowledge of the doctors is outstanding, and the nurses are kind and patient with the patients. It is difficult, but it is possible to find paid and non-paid parking spaces 🤔

Wonderful service. I was seen promptly and and treated so kindly and treatment arranged. I have such faith in the doctor I saw and will have no worries for my next appointment.

Today I attended the clinic for an angiogram and what might have been a nerve wracking day turned into a totally positive experience. Every member of staff, without exception, was welcoming, friendly, highly professional and efficient. I had an ablation with an overnight stay last week, from which I am making a good recovery. This clinic is is super clean, really well equipped and comfortable. The staff were all amazing which made such a difference to the whole experience. It was an anxious moment walking through the doors, but that soon melted away as I was looked after with such professionalism, kindness and empathy. I felt safe and well cared for. Thank you to all the staff who played a part in my care, from reception, to the cath lab staff, anaesthetist, the nursing staff and to my EP Dr. Haywood. You are doing an amazing job.

On the door to Yershova Olena Borisivna's office (if she has not yet been released) there should be an inscription: Do not enter! Evil creature! People are treated terribly. He hates children! People, don't go to her. There are many good doctors at the institute. Guard your hearts. Doctors like her should not work anywhere!

Judging by the comments, the doctors are good, the support staff is bad. I am interested in the financial component: we were told the price of the transaction was UAH 145,000 (three stands). Two years ago, judging by the comments, two stands cost 15,000 UAH. Who in general calculates the cost of services in the clinic? I want everything to be transparent and honest and we receive checks, statements for the procedures provided, which I have to officially pay, and not "put in the doctor's bedside table". Where can I find out the prices for the services of the Heart Institute?

Dear people…..this is a death factory. They just buried my father. Half a million was left for treatment. 200 thousand valve replacement and 40 days of intensive care. The man came for the examination himself, but as they say, no one wants to lose their money. But that's not even the point. The fact that no one returned the money is understandable. But on the 7th floor there is an intra-hospital infection that kills all patients. People undergo complex operations, and then everyone develops sepsis, all organs become infected, and the patients die. They were burying my father, the wife of my roommate called and he had also died. Therefore, look for another place for treatment, but not on the 7th floor. But since the intensive care unit is on another floor, the entire hospital needs to be closed and treated for infection, but who wants to lose their money.....

I want to express my deep gratitude to all the medical staff of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center "Cardiology" in Minsk, namely 2 cardiac surgery departments, headed by the remarkable head Vadim Vladimirovich Shumovets !!!! The high professionalism of all the doctors, the friendly attitude towards the patients, the good environment in the department, made it easier for me to transfer my heart surgery and recover! The worst place for heart . They just rip off money from people with heart problem . They did open heart surgery for my mom and her heart was not Qualify for and open heart surgery . They just wanted the 60 thousands euro 💶 and my mom passed away after the surgery . Guys be careful with them . Look for another place in world . thailand and Singapore I heard they r the best now in heart treatment . Good luck 👍 and pray for my mom 🥺

This hospital is more than exemplary in every respect, I would like to give it endless stars. Every single person who works there has been more than just loving and warm. I especially wanted to thank the station E 1.2 Tuscany. The nurses and carers there were more than just perfect. I could write an endlessly long text here and still not have said thank you often enough!!! You are amazing - the entire station ❤️ To all the people out there who need help with heart problems, I promise you won't be in better hands!!!!

I wish I had seen the review by george v ( the only other non Czech review by the way ) before getting treatment at the Prague Proton Therapy Center. He is correct. They made a mess of my treatment plan to the extent that I ended up spending 5 months in hospital as a consequence of the radiation treatment damage I suffered. I am still suffering the consequences today and deeply regret going there for treatment .

The best hospital in czech, Its kind of specific. I never heard about ikem before, but Its so cool. I love the islets projects, keep in mind to support it in the future.

So far, all the receptionists I've talked to on the phone have spoken to me in an amazing jerk/disgust style. It's a private hospital, but they treat you like a public hospital, maybe even worse. The doctors and assistants are all very nice and helpful.

I regularly visit you for blood tests. It feels good to enter the hospital, it is clean and calm. The appointment is always fine. Everyone is polite from the entrance to the examiner. The examination assistant is kind and patient. The Chief Medical Officer is happy to answer my questions, we always part with a smile. I will receive the findings by email the next day.

Wow, amazingly friendly and very helpful staff at all 3 reception desks (A&E, Urgent Treatment and the general receptiondesk in-between the two), they all know their job/role and were incredibly efficient. Once we found where we were going there was little time to wait as the attentive staff team followed procedures and helped my friend. If I ever need a good hospital in the future I hope I'm close to this one. Thank you to all the staff at all levels. Keep up the great work. 👍 😊

Here today, wednesday 29th November 2023, in St Mary's for day surgery and being looked after wonderfully....absolutely nothing is too much trouble! Staff are so friendly...thankyou Debs and everyone involved for looking after me...you are all a huge credit to the NHS and have made me feel so very relaxed and at ease. For the first time in a long time. I felt like I was listening to the happiest news of something not so good. But after going to AE 4 weekends in a row. Seen the specialist and they are appalled that treated this way and now caused long term irreversible problems.. so if it wasn't for someone listening to me st Mary's would have had 1 star.

Namely, doctor Irina Arkadyevna Puchkova, Lyudmila Leontyevna Kaplich and all the medical staff. Ya, Gorbachevskaya M.E. 06/27/2023 I had surgery to replace my lens. All the medical staff are handpicked. Friendly and polite people. Lyudmila Leontyevna is a doctor from God. I was so excited! But thanks to the attention of the girls nurses, thanks to the confidence and calmness of the anesthesiologist and microsurgeon (Kaplich L.L.), my excitement simply dissolved. The operation went smoothly, clearly, in a word, professionally! The whole team is top notch. Fantastic job!

Very nice modern building. On the ground floor there is a reception desk, paid services, a cloakroom, a cash desk, toilets, a pharmacy, a cafe, information kiosks from Belorusbank, Belpochta. Electronic queue. Comfortable corners for waiting and relaxing. Information stands with indication of specializations and layout of offices. There were no queues during the daytime. I was satisfied with the visit. Called according to appointment time. Gave professional advice and treatment. Received competent answers to all my questions. As for the prices for paid services - average.

I can't thank all the staff at The Christie enough. I had a minor procedure with them and during my time there felt truly cared for and supported. I was kept up to date every step of the way, my doctor and the nurses all listened to me, answered questions and I'll be forever grateful for their help!

I cannot praise The Christie too much. Although I'd rather not have to visit there, the amazing team make it so much easier and I actually look forward to seeing them. They are efficient, caring, compassionate, honest and help me so much. If I want to talk, someone is always available, my specialist nurse always gets back to me if I have an issue or need results. I have never felt respected and treated better as I was in this hospital as a patient.

I tried and failed to book an appointment for my daughter, trying to speak German, thought my German is not so good yet, I still have a certification for an A2 level. I have been told in a very rude way that I should learn to speak German before trying to book an appointment. This kind of people makes me vomit.

I had a big femur tumor which needed curettage and plate. I was recommended Prim. Martin Dominkus. I came from Romania for my surgery. The entire process went through flawless: communication, registration, preoperative examination, surgery, post surgery care. Medical staff is extremly organised but very calm. Extremely satisfied, can't thank you enough! Cheers to Station B1 team!

The clinic was recommended to me in Israel. My mother has non-Hodgin lymphoma, non-GDC. We went to the clinic, already having the Israeli protocol in hand. I would like to note every assistance from the staff of this clinic, namely: Dr. Aronov in professional assistance on technical issues in the treatment of such a complex disease, dispatcher Anastasia for constant contact and sincere assistance on all issues, Vyacheslav for the timely delivery of medicines from Israel. It’s cheaper to order some types of medicines this way than in our pharmacies, I’ve tested it myself. Prices for treatment are really not low, but by regional standards, we are from Krasnodar. In Moscow, believe me, these are standard prices, there is something to compare with. The main thing is that they don’t impose anything unnecessary here, but even suggest what you can do yourself and what you can’t. At least in our case, this was exactly the case.

As a foreigner travelling to Prague, this hospital was very helpful. When I got there, the foreign reception was closed and it was hard to communicate with the late at the emergency. Once I was admitted, the doctors and nurses were very competent professionals during my 3 days stay there.

SKIP THIS PLACE! Hospital with old school doctors who see the need to question you inappropriately and then chastise you for coming in after hours with “nothing major.” The attitude in this hospital reflects a pre 1989 mentality when staff were unaware that ever patient is PRIMARILY a client! Go somewhere else; anywhere!!!

Omg! After living in CZ as English speaker for almost 3 years, I finally found the best hospital here. I was here mostly at the cardiology department. Most of the nurses can speak English. Even if they are not, they still try to communicate with you. And ofc, all doctor can speak English. All of them are so patient, nice, and friendly. I was super surprise that I had some chitchat with some nurses during the waiting times. The waiting time is logically make sense. I can simply say, they love their jobs. I can’t recommend anywhere else rather than here :) Best one 😊
