My son was treated here for a fractured arm. Dr Burstev did an incredible job both with the surgery and immaculately neat stitches, as with the care and attention given during follow-up appointments. Nurses and other staff also showed great attention and we really couldn't ask for more. Grateful.

I am a customer of the EMC for about 15 years. During the last 5 years the attitude of the hospital has changed. Before it was clearly the best place to get medical attention, especially when you are a foreigner and don't speak too much Russian. But now the game changed. Not only are they very high price and I most of the time I have the feeling that I am recommended additional check which are not needed. Now they also don't trust their customers any more. As a Foreigner, with a record in their database for 15 years, you have to prepay your treatment. I have always paid by bills with them before leaving the building on every visit, so I have not given any reason for this. And then the payment doesn't work well. The payment terminals are difficult to use / not working and the alternative is to go to the ground floor and pay at the cash register. For this money I expected perfect service. Don't get me wrong, I think the doctors are good. But the management I don't like.

Is it even legal to charge as much for health care? Seems like the regulator isn't aware of the price list of this hospital. Other than that having insurance isn't a guarantee that you'll get services in this hospital because there is lack of real time communication between the service provider and the insurance company, so you still have to guarantee payment with your bank card. If the two do not communicate in an hour, money is deducted from your card. Then back to square one...running after the insurance for compensation! Just a terrible experience to say the least.

Even after more than 25 years as a loyal customer, I was made to feel like a potential criminal who is lying about your insurance coverage. In the middle of a series of consultations and tests, I was forced to stand at the reception desk and have a lengthy discussion with the receptionist and the insurers before I could get the correct invoice with only 20 percent co-payment. This clinic is fine if you don’t mind being publicly humiliated and pay everything up front.

Absolute embarrassment for a medicinal center. My sister spent 7 hours in the ER with chest pain, provided doctor with all her records from other physicians. After 1 x-ray they disregarded everything, told her it's "probably" stress and sent her home. Thank you for reconfirming the public opinion in this countries medical standards. You are the heroes this country deserves.

I receivedan excellent care from very friendly and warm staffs from cardiology department.all doctors nurses and hospital staffs are so supportive. From start to end I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of care, warmth and kindness of every person I met. I highly recommend this hospital.

Worst emergency experience ever. Come here with my friend with breath problem. Waited 5 hours until he almost fainted, then they gave him ibuprofen and didn’t try to find real problem. When he decided to leave so unprofessional SOR, the nurse was rude and severely pulled out a dropper with useless saline. Works for parking counter, not people.

Excellent service, helpful people, got fixed quickly

I have only positiv experiences here, the doctors are very friendly and have a lot of knowledge. The same for the nurses. Indeed if you have to go to the emergency you have to wait, like every where in the world. This is depending on the screening, some cases are more urgent, just accept that. Would be nice to have something to read due the waiting time, but that is the only thing. I was several times here, also for a longer time, and the care is just very good, that is the most important thing.

One of best places in Budapest to get the Covid vaccination. Very efficient and attentive service in a clean and tidy place. All doctors, nurses, IT specialists and soldiers work the help incoming people. No preliminary registration required. Large parking lot located in front of Uzsoki hospital free on weekends only.

This is the fourth time in this institution, two hip replacements, two repeat hip joints, each time it gets worse and worse, initially cups of the wrong size were placed, when asked why they were asked, there was no other answer at that time, the result dislocations of the left joint began, they underwent re-endoprosthetics in 2019, the right leg turned out to be 2 cm shorter, which caused the ankle to fly, in 2022 dislocations of the right joint began, I was admitted to the clinic on August 30, I just lay in bed for four days, they took a blood test, did an x-ray, That’s it. The attending physician came once and asked what and where it hurt, where the dislocations were going, that’s all. No one really reads the stories, right before the operation they asked which joint should be operated on, right or left, if he hadn’t said that it was right, they would have operated on the left one, since the dislocation of the left joint is indicated everywhere, even in the discharge the left joint appears everywhere, in the department no one bothers to read the medical history, the prescription list contains contraindications for injecting NSAIDs, which I cannot take until the allergy begins and I asked the question what they are pricking, the lack of professionalism of the treatment nurses is off the charts, they punctured all the veins and were unable to place a catheter; a nurse from the intensive care unit placed a subclavian catheter without anesthesia, because... I’m allergic to lidocaine, the second nurse on duty didn’t come on time to the call, the IV ran out, the result was that the catheter was clogged, they couldn’t flush it out, they removed it, they tried to put the catheter in the arm, they punctured all the veins again, they couldn’t put it in, the nurse from the intensive care unit put it in again, for that I thanked her very much, I told her to warn the nurse on duty when she was administering the medicine so that she would press on the vein because the whole boat didn’t go in because of adhesions in the vein, when I tried to show what needed to be done, she threw my hand away and started yelling that she knew better what to do, she started tugging at the catheter, naturally she pulled it out of the vein, and refused to put another one in for me, she screamed rudely that she knew better what to do, he sent her away and told her not to come close to me anymore, my brother came, tried to put an intravenous drip, again nothing worked, the nurse from the intensive care unit did it again, my hands were punctured into rubbish, blue, more than 30 punctures, they react disgustingly to calls, as if you can’t go out into the corridor, the sisters and nannies sit in their little room, either drinking tea or gossiping in the corridor, in general, I was left with a disgusting impression of the work of the LLP2 staff, management conduct a staff certification, many of the staff do not correspond to the position, what they do. I had a thigh lift in April after a massive weight loss . It was cheaper than the UK but not particularly cheap. The results are awful. Still so much skin left, hardly made a difference. I complained to the clinic and was told by Dr Justan than I expect too much in a very short, abrupt reply. He was the same in person. I was desperate to feel better about my legs so I went with it. I’ve since seen my UK surgeon who did my breast uplift, arm lift, tummy tuck and he has told me the results are awful. Low scars, far far too much skin left, a handful from groin to knee still needs removing. Please do your research. I tried to save money by going here but now need to start again and save money to get fixed !

I thought my friend was describing the bedsores her father had while he was there and that they had to take him away to prevent his condition from worsening. Unfortunately, then a relative of the family went to this clinic for joint replacement surgery, and while being taken from the recovery room to the lower level for recovery, a young girl drove the relative and overturned the wheelchair. Accidents happen, but the behaviour of the doctor standing next to me debating with a lady was outrageous. Instead of being a doctor, he brazenly demanded money, saying he didn't see any other way to help. Not only is this kind of "failure to help" behavior criminal in the Czech Republic, but it shows the human and professional garbage that works there. This is my opinion, after the experience of a relative. And before I didn't believe my friend that this is common there, when she had a problem with her father's bedsores, after our family's experience I have a personal opinion that is never there again, this style of health care and doctors' behavior where I want to put my relatives or God forbid to lie as a patient myself.

I had breast augmentation in October. I was booked in for implants and restructure after substantial weight loss. For the first 3 months everything looked fine but when the swelling went down my new breasts started to droop. I took the advice of Dr Justan who advised me I didn't need implants, just augmentation. This was very poor advice or a money making exercise. The Surgal Clinic now want nearly three times what I initially paid to put an implant in with full augmentation. Very poor advice and after service. They have tried to blame the elasticity of my skin being very good hence the droop but an experienced surgeon should have identified this. I am now booked in to an English clinic, where I should have gone to start with. The clinic itself is extremely nice, like a 5* hotel with excellent staff it's just unfortunate that the surgery isn't the same.

I want to thank all the staff of the ENT Clinic, the inpatient department, from the doctors to the support staff. Their professionalism, care, empathy and human approach made my stay at the clinic after surgery very, very easy. Special thanks to Doc. To Čalkovská and all the nurses, for whom I was not just "another piece" that they had to take care of. Here they change the term "must" to "want", because they care about each and every one of them. Good day, on 11/14/2023, I underwent a prostate biopsy at department 8/3 in Martin. I can't help but write this review for such a super professional approach of all involved. It started already at the reception, the nurse was incredibly empathetic. It's a shame that I don't know her name, she would definitely be named. Also, big thanks to all the nurses, especially one, I think they called her Deniska. Doctor Kliment topka, golden person. Oh and I can't forget the anesthesia ladies, I wanted to thank them right away but I couldn't speak....thank you in addition, you were great! And what to write at the end? Mr. Director, you have such a great staff.

Hello, my son was operated on 3 years ago at the Martin University Hospital, Department of Surgery. We had a personal interview with Mudr. Adamik - surgeon. A doctor with a high level of professional education. Just a top. Now 3.11.2023 again after 3 years we contacted him again. He was extremely willing and accessible. He planned an operation that is difficult and is only performed in Martin and Prešov. The disease is called Hydradentis suppurativa. Since Martin is closer to us, i.e. 300 km from our place of residence, we chose this hospital again. If you suffer from such a disease, I highly recommend it.

This hospital stinks like smelly feet and doctors does even not have medicine certificate, better to give birth at home!

Waited about 30 mins for a kids X-ray. Overall very satisfied with the service. Staff was all very nice and helpful. Some spoke limited English but we were able to navigate it without major issue.

We waited way too long on Kid’s emergency department. We used to live in Bulgaria for a few years and even there is service better and faster. Disappointed

I would like to thank the doctors and nurses who took care of me for the last 4 days at the ENT department at the Antol Hospital. They sent me here and there from the reluctant hospital in Ružinov, until I finally got to the Antol hospital through 3 emergency rooms. At the internal reception, they took me within 15 minutes and immediately sent me upstairs to the ENT. the young lady doctor examined me within the next 30 minutes and immediately recommended an operation to remove the abscess, within 3 hours I was on the operating table, very pleasant staff and Mr. The doctor who operated on me, and in the evening everything was selected and the treatment started. All the nurses and the other workers were great, attentive, they came to ask how the person was doing, if I had enough of everything and even gave me an extra blanket for the night because they had not yet heated the room and it was cold. If it weren't for them, I still wouldn't be able to swallow. But I give 4 stars to the management of the hospital and the cooks - it really can't be cooked better? 4 days the same for lunch and breakfast, if only it looked/tastes like it was served to pigs (to put it politely). Sometimes you can make a good meal with little and cheap, you don't have to serve a 5-star course. I've already eaten everything and I won't indulge in specials, but maybe it would be enough to change those foods as well. What is sad, and this applies to all hospitals, is that they don't even have toilet paper anymore? It's about time the Ministry of Health wakes up, because it's a shame that people who spend so much money on health insurance have to wear toilet paper and soap. Everyone from politicians, through state secretaries and companies knows how to pour money into the bag, after agreements behind closed doors, but to provide people with at least basic equipment in hospitals, there is no money for that, tell your high politicians salaries for NOTHING and will be found immediately.

I turned to the surgeon proctologist A.A. Oganesyan. at the end of November, with a problem that I don’t want to voice. I have been suffering for a long time, and was already aiming for surgery. We talked everything through, told everything, ordered tests, which I took the very next day. The results came the same day. The day of the operation was set. The operation went well, the staff was very responsive, they explained everything and listened to requests. The rooms are good. The prices are not astronomical, in my opinion. Now I am recovering under the supervision of a surgeon. Thanks to all the staff for their work. (The reception desks of both branches also have red-haired employees who supported and advised). After the operation, nurses regularly came by and asked what I wanted. They brought tea, water, cookies. It was very comfortable.

The only place where they do an EEG while a child is sleeping under excellent conditions. I would like to express my deep gratitude to nurse E.I. Shevchenko for her wonderful attitude and professionalism! She answered all our questions, helped with everything and dispelled our fears. In the end, everything worked out great for us. Medica Mente, good place. Friendly staff. I visited for the first time, in two branches. Endocrinologist and orthopedist. Received recommendations. Pharmacy on the premises of the clinic. Prices are moderate, pensioners get a discount. I will visit.

Hernia operation. I had a hernia for years. It started to be worst so i decided to go for operation. Waiting time to get operated was 4 months. Not great. Not great ... I read somewhere it is result of cutting staff. Experience with the doctors was however great. I was operated by a young Female doctor M B (thanks again you are great and talented) I stayed altogether 3 days in hospital (one day before operation and 2 days after ) they removed 2 hernias, one lomparoscopy and one net stitching. The nurses were great and helpers too. I would have liked being helped to the door for exit process. I walked out with spinning head. Very very very bad experience was front desk administrative nurse. miss J. She either hate people or her job. Who knows maybe both. Her approach and the words used were conflictual and distasteful even if i was nice. Pain was very manageable 3/10

Crazy person on the line. Just not normal to talk to people like that. Why do you work in the hospital if you hate them so much?

I went to this hospital several months ago to run some tests. Upon trying to reschedule an appointment for a checkup, I was told that they do not accept foreigners, despite the fact I have Czech residency, and was referred elsewhere. The level of unprofessionalism is frankly appalling; it appears the staff at this hospital has forgotten the fall of communism was over 30 years ago.

Got my Covid (#5) vaccine at this facility. Vaccination center is located in building/pavilion E next door from entrance E7. Hospital is easily accessible via public transport/trams. The service and staff are very efficient. Dr. Mankovecky (fluent in English) and his nurse are extremely friendly and pleasant. Appointment is required and recommended for the vaccination services. I recommend this facility!

This review is for the ULZ department in this hospital. I went several days to the hyperbaric chamber. The team was the best one I've ever encountered in Czech Republic, doctors, nurses, technicians, everyone was nice, positive, polite, helpful, and dedicated. They took the time to explain everything to the patients, are nice and smiling everyday. For the first time I felt they loved their job for both the medical part and the human contact. Special thanks to Mila, the nurse who took care about me all along the procedure. Please do not change anything! And for the hospital in general please take this department as an example!

It’s really a very good hospital. As I don’t speak Czech, it may be a problem in some places. But here it is very good. It’s like an international hospital. Everyone from the reception to the examination doctors all speaks good English. There is no problem with being treated. And the waiting time is not long at all.

a hospital has it's own aura decorum. the medical staff here are really powerfull not obeying the rules, wich is one of the main building blocks of great morale here and the overall success rate here, where you are in a care of true proffesionals

I tried to contact them for several days!!!! I sent emails, I called to the reception and she redirected me to a wrong department. There they gave me another phone number but they don't pick up for 2 days!!!! Hopefully their emergency department works faster.

Unfortunately we had to visit Stomatochirurgic department on Sunday evening in emergency with our kettle nephew who had an accident and the tooth got broken. The nurse was very nice to us whilst we were filling up all the paperwork. Meanwhile doctor A. Ščerbová arrived and told us her opinion about the necessity to take out the tooth. We were worried to make the decision quickly and she was so nice and patient that didn’t mind to explain everything to our family friend (dentist) over the phone. Whilst the procedure started she was communicating with our nephew, explained him everything and shortly it was done. Really amazing experience and lovely professional, but still kind attitude of the nurse and the doctor. Thank you very much again!!! PS: there is massive car park with 50czk fee.

Worse service ever. I had covid symptoms and couldnt breath, the receptionist was unpleasant and sent me to another hospital and from that hospital sent me back to Ružinov Hospital. Half day was wasted and i had to eventually wait for 7 hours while still waiting here and doctors are closing the door so strongly that it just shakes my mind. Toilets are broken no toilet paper even. While im waiting here my health condition has gone worse. I wouldnt even give one star so far.

In May 2022, we urgently arrived from Kazakhstan to the clinic. It was necessary to install a drainage to remove bile from the liver. The condition was quite serious, bilirubin was more than 500 units. In Kazakhstan it was not possible to install drainage, it did not work. Ivan Mikhailovich Davydov did an excellent job with this complex operation, many thanks to him and the clinic for this. Excellent care, modern equipment, competent, experienced doctors.

A good clinic, competent doctors, I really liked Nelegach Tatyana Vladimirovna. Competent professional, patient and very polite. He tells everything on the shelves, a very pleasant person. I also liked the ultrasound specialists, the comfortable atmosphere. The neurologist who did the echocardiography of the heart is very charismatic and attentive. I didn’t really like the gynecologist, Khugaeva, the feeling that I consulted not with a doctor, but in the market) I don’t like gynecologists, it’s difficult for me to have examinations, my body twitches reflexively, that I can’t do anything about it and I have to endure through force. (And I already tried to endure as best I could and lie still) this is when you try to insert lenses into your eyes and the eyelids begin to close themselves. They did a screening of the cervix, I thought I would burn with shame, during the examination, constantly “well, why are you twitching, I don’t hurt, you are having sex, but what’s terrible” post-Soviet attitude entered the chat) inappropriate questions about earnings, etc. ) Most likely, as a specialist, she is really competent, she has gone through so many institutions in her practice, but her attitude towards patients should be improved. In general, the hospital is good, I recommend. Their only disadvantage is poor management, and untimely approval of preliminary plans and estimates. The price tag is adequate, but if you go through a check, prepare for the amount not 110,000, but from 130,000 (if you are about 20 years old) and from 250,000 if you are about 60. Passed 3 times checkup, me, husband and grandmother. I was afraid of endoscopy, did not want to swallow the endoscope, but the doctor paid extra attention to the preparation, taught me how to breathe correctly during the study, so I calmly agreed and followed all the doctor's instructions. I operated on my mother at Hadassah in Skolkovo. All at the highest level! They diagnosed me in one day, scheduled surgery the next day, and discharged the next day. If I were to evaluate the surrounding area and the outside of the hospital at the moment, it looks like a battlefield in terms of repairs and modifications, but the hospital itself is more important 🏥, and I already evaluated it once and my evaluation has not changed, i.e. I will never allow it to go to the FN, great doctors and, of course, nurses, with whom my patients communicate first. On July 4th, emergency admission.. we come with our son (16 months), he was bleeding from the head after a fall at home. First comes the queue lady, very unpleasant, she didn't even know how to buzz... then we sit in the waiting room, wait for 2 hours - I'm reminded of a one-year-old child with a head injury! Even the staff (probably the medical brother) found it strange that they still didn't take us!! And finally a Ukrainian woman came, she knocked, and let them take her right away, that she has a stomach ache, and they? They took her because, after all, the glory of Ukraine.. a mockery of Czech citizens and especially children.. UK is always preferred🙏🏽 I only give 1 star because of the attentiveness of the gentleman. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! We called Mulac's hospital, and despite the fact that they only treat children from 3 years old, they told us to come if they would leave us waiting like that with such a small child!!

Very Good Hospital Equals With The Englands National Health Service.

If you're a foreigner without the local medical card/number you end up sent to emergency here. I had a sore throat for a week and no other doctor would see me, all pointed me here. I found it very difficult to navigate, having to ask people on footpaths for directions even to find the emergency building. Before entry a metal box building near the entrance had someone ask me questions then perform a covid test. When inside, with much language difficulty they sent me to the nose/ear/throat building. Again not easy to find. Here I was told off for using the ground level entrance, being directed down stairs to a door. When opening the door I was yelled at to wait. After waiting a while with others queued up, another person opens the door and gets let in. Several locals who arrived after me instantly jumped the queue. I asked how long the wait time was, they laughed and said "long". Asking if that meant over an hour they said yes more. I was fed up and left. Came back in the afternoon going other staff are there, the same people were there, they remembered me and my Hungarian friend said they were all saying that I must've not waited through the queue in the morning. They were not helpful in any way, instead all trying to prove to each other that they did their job correctly. I left again. Eventually with local help I found a nose/ear/throat specialist who does private consultations for cash. If you can, avoid this place.

Awful service, disrespectful staff who speak to patients in an extremely unprofessional and belittling manner (most of them anyway). At other healthcare clinics this kind of behaviour would result in termination of employment. Looks like in this clinic, unfortunately, this is the norm. We've visited at least 4 buildings at the clinic and we had the same awful experience at all of them. They send you from one building to the other and no one knows what's going on, wasting SO much of their patients time. On top of that it's very sad that their employees feel the need to power trip at patients. I understand they might not get paid too much, but still they should be respectful to others.
