Emergency dept is an absolute joke. Sitting in here in pain, waiting to be looked at by a doctor for 4+ hours now on a Wednesday mid morning, with about 15 other patients. Nurses “visit” the waiting area of the emergency dept, as if in a hurry, but doesn’t look like any of the patients are actually receiving any care. Came in here with a fractured hand, will be leaving with not just a fractured hand, but also a low blood sugar level and migraines as complimentary gift. Such a waste of tax payer dollars.

Vote of "No Confidence" - Do Not go here! Get yourself to Sunshine if you have an emergency! It's definitely not the Royal Melbourne, and not even close to the experience at Sunshine. To describe the Mercy as "Parochial" is to be extremely kind. When I present at an ED in an Australian capital city, I expect a confident workforce, a competent director and a facility that provides a comprehensive ED. It's a sad indictment that Australia's shining cornerstone; its world-class medical system seems so utterly diminished and beleaguered by the shockingly poor example given up as The Mercy Hospital. Having just moved to the area, I was appalled with my first [and I hope only] experience at the Mercy Hospital. I was directed by my GP to the Mercy after a suspected stroke. I had blurred vision and a screaming headache. I waited for Eleven uncomfortable hours to be told by a somewhat bureaucratically limited doctor lacking any ability in patient empathy, that there was no one at the Mercy who could be sure of my condition. Or apparently, possess the ability to read a CT Scan. Filled with anxiety and a lack of blood sugar, my confidence in this hospital's abilities instantly evaporated. I am a diabetic and by this time was in real need of food. Apparently, food is also on the list of things NOT currently available at the Mercy. I immediately discharged myself and had my partner drive me to Sunshine. What a difference Sunshine is compared to the Mercy. Food, doctors with empathy, doctors that can read CT scans, admin staff that know how to process an emergency department - not to mention the ability to drive up to the front door. The Mercy needs to take a very long hard look at itself, its facilities, and its staffing capabilities. Start with replacing its director. Who by the way, made an appearance on the ED floor with a triumphantly lame attempt at explaining away his ineptitude at heading up and implementing a capable ED. A fact not lost on the onlooking and demoralized waiting room. A defective leader will only ever attract the same. The ED had a clear communication disconnect between triage and general assessment. (Yes I've had a stroke. But I'm also a diabetic - the two can be true at the same time!) It has a fundamentally flawed waiting room procedure and process reminiscent of some outback roadside clinic. The doctors and general staff seemed limited to and hindered by bureaucracy, with no evident desire to move beyond remedial procedure and develop an ability to infix confidence in their patients. This defines a workforce lacking in experience under incapable leadership. A fact that is picked up and amplified by their patient's experience. As reflected by the multitude of negative experiences retold on this public site.

The fact that this is a hospital is laughable. Lack of experienced qualified staff and good management. Almost lost my wife and child due to a staff not knowing what they were doing. Also don’t get me started on their emergency department. When I was in London during peak covid 19 while thousands of people were dying, the wait time in emergency was only 4hrs, here it’s 11hrs+ wait. How can you call this a first world country. Australians pay big tax dollars almost 30% or more of what they earn working hard, this should be invested into hospitals and other needed services. There needs to be another hospital in the west. Maybe Tarneit or Truganina because this place is shambolic. If you can, please wait to see your GP and pray it’s bulk billed or try to put your own broken legs together. It’ll be better than going into Werribee mercy.

Really odd billing experience.... Started getting weird texts saying that I owe Cabrini $12.00 with no invoice or explanation. I hadn't been to Cabrini in over a year and I thought it was a scam. After a few more texts i call them and they say they did an internal audit from my procedure from the year before and that they under quoted me and under billed me then and expected me to pay now. I know it is only $12. But I found this really odd... isn't it their responsibility to make sure they are quoting the right price before the procedure and when payment is made? Anyway... just be careful because who knows who else this has happened too and for how much!? Just felt very unprofessional to chase up $12.00 without explaining a year later!

Went for a gastroscope and most of the nurses were amazing, doctors were too! Went there in the morning and unfortunately my partner couldn’t pick me up before 3.30 pm. One of the nurses (don’t remember her name) a bit older, was absolutely rude to me and over the phone with my partner and to me again when I told her that I was happy to wait in the waiting room in front of the desk after the procedure, and let someone else come in. She was very pushy in a bad way and need me gone before 3pm. Also, when I got notified for the procedure, few weeks prior the procedure, I completely forgot to reply back to a very stressful weeks of work and family situation.. got a phone call from the same rude lady and she pretended to know “why I didn’t reply to the message” .. Not sure why she had to act like that.. but I’m sure wasn’t the first time.

The staff here have been amazing. Wonderful nurses and staff. Highly recommend. The ambience and staff are positive and happy. Loved my experience here. Thank you 💜😀

I am writing about my experience at ENT. The waiting room is always full and the waiting time is excruciating. But I don't think it's a personnel problem. He is very pleasant and accommodating. I am in awe of Dr. Anna Rumanová. Pleasant and very nice.

We visited the hospital with our son (3 years old) on October 28, 2023, he had an acute ear infection. At the ENT, a full bakery, or not a bakery, but a chair right by the elevator, my son cried there for an hour, but no one even noticed us, and the staff was constantly barking around (obviously with a snack or wallet in hand). Total disinterest. Waste of time for me, we went to Prague and I will never visit this hospital again.

I have two experiences, one when I collapsed from overwork (exhaustion) and I spent one night directly in the Interna. Amazing staff, hats off. The second experience is when the grandmother's rectal tumor was cut out and she was sent home without a stoma, after many emergency calls (from the general practitioner and from us) and threats (that we will not take grandmother back into care), the doctor apologized that it was a "communication problem" "The noise and the stoma were performed after a few days. Thanks to this, Grandma became so weak that further follow-up cancer treatment was not possible, and she died after 2 months of being bedridden at home. Despite my good experience with this hospital, I give only 1 star for obvious reasons.

The worst hospital in the world, shame, you can be ashamed of me, we have a mother hospitalized there for a long time, and my mother complains that I beat her there, the nurses have no idea 😑😑😑😬

I have to agree with most of what has been said here about the OdCH ward primary, as we have been to this ward far too many times over the past three years, we have had the opportunity to experience her condescending behavior first hand. This person really does not belong in healthcare.

Allow me to draw your attention to the experiences that we, as a family, experienced in the Department of Adult Diseases (ODCH) in Rožnav, under the leadership of Dr. Dovalova. I am writing to you with a sense of sadness and deep concern because we have lost two beloved members of our family in this institution in the last year. In the first case, it was about our grandmother, who was already in advanced age and her state of health was unstable. This fact is understandable in our perception, but the second case hurts us immensely. Recently, here in this department, a young patient from our family died suddenly, without warning and without a clear explanation. We leave these experiences with a lot of unanswered questions. Despite our repeated attempts to get answers and clarity from the hospital management and Dr. Dovalova, we were ignored. At a time when we would have expected empathy and transparency, we were met with reluctance and silence. I would therefore like to express my concern and warn other families. Trust in medical professionals is key, but it is important to remember that we have a right to be informed and to demand answers. Do not ignore any doubts or ambiguities that may arise about the health status of your loved ones. Please, if you find yourself in a similar situation, don't play with fire. If you have suspicions or misunderstandings, do not hesitate to contact the relevant authorities. In moments of unexpected loss of a beloved family member, we must not be silenced. Please keep us in your prayers and thank you in advance for your support and understanding during this difficult time.

I was in the one-day surgery department for 4 days because I had a more complicated operation. Many nurses took turns with me and I cannot say a word about their care and willingness. Everyone was nice, helpful and smiling. The food was beyond expectations, chicken schnitzel, steamed buns, gnocchi with meat, of course jam, butter, honey, rolls or fruit. Thank you for the procedure and for the care. I am glad that I chose the second district for the operation.

Today, October 3, 2023, it was supposed to be vaccinated to protect health against covid 19. From 1:00 p.m., approx. 40 people who registered were supposed to be vaccinated, and from 2:00 p.m., it was their turn to come unregistered. Topoľčany hospital was unprepared (one nurse and one doctor, the system did not work). Most of the registered people were elderly people. At 1:30 p.m., the nurse and the doctor started to deal with something... The two of us came from Prievidza and were unregistered. After 14.00 we left with the fact that we have a chance to get in line in 3-4 hours, as 2-3 people were vaccinated before our departure. In a word, chaos. We gave up. But before we left, we spoke to the deputy at the directorate, who, with her incompetence, only stated that the doctor could not keep up. It is possible that such incompetent people work in hospital management. We traveled 60 km there and 60 back and nothing. We will see when and where we manage to get vaccinated. The professional, humane approach of the entire gynecology department during the entire hospitalization, dear nurses, thank you very much to Drs. Kereková and Szabová for my operation, my gynecologist praised the excellent sewing when pulling out the stitches.

My experience is like that - quick and easy!

Registration desk - 1st floor. Messy, reluctant, rude and arrogant, one after another, all who registered me in several days. You should consider a replacement, it's not just my experience. To discourage you at the first contact in the hospital... all wrong!

It's a fashion in the hospital that all the staff talk about everything and especially as loudly as possible... the cleaners argue about who has what to do and actually nobody does anything. I deliberately watched the peroxide-blonde disheveled lady washing the floor with one wet rag, the entire entrance hall... after a minute she came back complaining that people had stepped on her. Professionalism is disappearing everywhere.

Avoid the hospital as far as you can! A congregation of butchers, inhuman herds! (Respect for the exception, but there aren't many of them...) It's a shame that such people can work in the hospital in Komárom! The person who wants to be cured comes out in a much worse condition than when he went in!

Today the house was at the emergency room. Dr. Štefan Ollé treated me. Absolute satisfaction, explanation, diagnostics, human approach. Thank you❤

Those who work in surgery should be ashamed of themselves. Care is worth nothing. My grandmother is lying in the dirt, the sheet is pure blood and disinfectant, the blood is smeared on her hands. Completely dried out, his mouth is on a pot, he can't get up, he can't drink, they don't even look at them for hours. When I ask the general practitioner, the patient doesn't even know who it is until I show it to him, and even then he just blurts out something and leaves, and I don't have time to ask. My mom was amortized in a week. And unfortunately, it's not the first such experience. This is anything but a hospital!!!!!!

My opinion about the Golden Care Clinic is five :-) The receptionists are very polite and inform us exactly what we want to know before the tests. There are often situations when a patient cancels an appointment and we have the opportunity to schedule tests sooner. The doctors examine everything we have doubts about very carefully, are very polite and help us with a sincere smile. You must remember that the Golden Care Clinic is a private clinic, I recommend that you always ask carefully after the examination about medications, allergic conditions, the course of the disease, methods and duration of treatment. This will prevent stress, bad comments and more money spent. I recommend.

The staff first postpones the visit to an earlier time (which forces me to change my plans) and then it turns out that there is another delay. Moreover, loudly informing the patient about additionally paid tests during the visit in a full waiting room is not very comfortable.

Quiet, peaceful - no crowds, no shouting or rushing. Great employees - positive attitude towards the patient, ready to help (greetings to the receptionist from 19/10/23, very nice and helpful, and to the nurse ;)

The hemorrhoid surgery and subsequent hospitalization went perfectly. I highly appreciate the helpful and friendly attitude of the doctors, nurses and other staff. The surgery department is very nicely renovated, in every room a clean modern shower, toilet, Smart TV, WiFi. The food is very tasty by hospital standards. Thank you very much for the pleasant course of hospitalization.

We completed the birth and follow-up care at the hospital. I positively acknowledge a parking lot with sufficient capacity and a price of CZK 10/hour. I also really liked the breakfast buffet concept. Of course, the quality of the food corresponded to the amount paid by the client for health insurance. The hospital's equipment also matches the price. The birth took place normally, thanks to extra-standard care (own midwife and doula). A very noisy renovation was taking place in the hospital, when the client's bed was also vibrating. So it was necessary to leave the hospital earlier. The behavior of the staff corresponds to the 20s of the 21st century in the Czech Republic. In other words, normal and nice during normal communication. In case of problems, arrogance and threats start. Some of the staff also only speak broken Czech. Overall, the vaunted Czech care has once again shown what it really is. No one died and in this case no one has any lasting effects, but would anyone want to go through it again?...No........I recommend considering the alternative of not paying for the birth in Germany or Austria. It can be stated that the care provided fully corresponded to the amount of health insurance paid in the Czech Republic.

Very unprofessional attitude of some doctors (Nguyen Duc, M.D. does not understand and is not interested in you and nurse Adéla is arrogant) in the gynecology department. Of course they will accommodate you and nothing is a problem, but my personal experience with this hospital is disastrous. In the winter of 2023, I underwent a hysterectomy. I was to be operated on by MUDr. Radek Poláček, who was absent at the time and no one informed me. All the pre-operative examinations were negative. After the operation, Mudr. Josef Hajči, who finally operated on me, came to me and told me that he had no information about me in the card and that he was sorry, he was very tired and we accidentally removed one ovary. After the operation, the drip dripped out of my vein, my hand was swollen, when I called the nurse she scolded me. They will never see me in this hospital again, although they have new equipment, but humanity and professional behavior are missing. it was the fourth one's turn and by mistake he also removed the ovary ovary

Try taking the elevator to the 10th floor at OCHNÍ.... You wait 10 minutes for the elevator. One then arrives full of Ukrainians, and in the other they transport the patient from the hall to the ward. After another 15 minutes of waiting in the green zone in front of the elevator (so that the elevator would even know that I would like to go up), I preferred to walk up the stairs..... Terrible 🤮

When you enter, leave all hope. This is one of the most desolate hospitals I have ever seen. I went here with my kid who had a medical letter for an infectious disease and needed antibiotics. The receptionist started bullying me because I couldn't speak Czech well, so she basically sent me home. I started yelling back at her and some other lady there told me to stop yelling because she felt offended by me. I told her that she could take her offence and shove it. I pay taxes here and I demand to be treated humanely. Eventually we got into the emergency where one nurse took off with my phone to show doctors there the email from our doctor. Then she made us wait. Finally, another nurse came out and helped us register. The registration lady was nice. We went to section C at 1st floor and the people there were polite. We finally learnt we actually had to go to another hospital. To sum up, if a car crushes me in the street and the ambulance wants to rush me to Lochotin hospital, I prefer to be left to die in peace, rather than deal with such people again.

Went to the emergency room because I had some infection or allergic reaction on my lip and they told me to come back in 2 days because the right doctor isn’t there. What kind of emergency treatment is that? Also they don’t speak any English what makes communication extremely difficult..

A complete shock! For the planned procedure, instead of the morning, only at half past two, discharge instead of between 4 and 6. And when I asked where it was, the nurse told me that they didn't have a schedule for us

We came with my son with a broken leg and the nurse told us that we should have come in the morning and that we would have to wait for 2 hours but there was no one in front of us so I don't understand why she made us wait so long with the child!!!!! I do not recommend the surgical nurse at all!!!

I do not recommend!!! Sonography visit, unpleasant doctor, sono of the entire abdomen done in maybe a minute. Considering that a person comes to the doctor's office with a little apprehension, I would expect a more friendly approach. No one said a word about the examination. They forced me into the waiting room, after a few minutes they shoved a piece of paper into my hand and slammed the door. It was my first visit to this hospital and never again!!!

The emergency room is very bad, better not to drive, the doctor does not recognize a broken rib, not even according to the X-ray. Finally, on the basis of 30 x-ray images, he concluded that one rib was broken (whereas in another hospital they told us that 8 pieces were broken in total, based on the same images. Prescribed inappropriate pain medication that could have been life-threatening There are a lot of problems, I couldn't find anything positive, it's unnecessary to list all the problems Otherwise, a fee was collected even outside the emergency room In order not to offend, they were pleasant, unfortunately I didn't go for a coffee, but for a professional approach to a place where people are praised for being able to use X-rays, interpret images from X-rays, tomography, I'd rather not even drink. I will never trust a doctor again

At the Šumperk hospital, we have been dealing with abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, fevers and vomiting for two months. During the sono examination in the emergency room, the attending physician repeatedly said that there was no problem, despite the visible hernia. We will know the results of the colonoscopy 6 weeks after the examination, while the problems are still ongoing. Lax approach, lack of interest in patient comfort.

My reality is that 2 maximum satisfaction and now the third time never again at the orthopedics nurses disaster, not all of them, but after that they have children from Zdravka, so they give them a really nice example of total lack of interest in patients, they won't explain anything to you, they won't tell you. Both the nurses and the doctors of the house are acting like total idiots. Who invented something and is annoying there. Again, not all the doctors. And the food was a disaster, it was impossible to be sure. And again, only now, years ago, the orthopedics was great. And the food was great, so where is the fault. Well Asia in the lead. So they would probably like to change him to orthopedics there

I had very good experience. Nice hospital, nice rooms, nice food. Very polite staff and trying to help in any way. Was refreshing to find someone who spoke in English with me. All of the staff I came across was really caring.

It is an institution that provides an excellent presentation of the Hungarian health situation. I had to give one star, but that's too much.

Good staff but they don't speak English, it's difficult to communicate

From October 10-12, I was under medical treatment at the hospital's urology department. I only had to wait a little over a month for the operation under spinal anesthesia. I can only praise both the doctors and the nursing staff (there was one exception). Their professional preparation and human attitude made it much easier to get through the often vulnerable and humiliating situations. Since I am otherwise in good physical condition, I tried to be a "good patient" as well, but those who were more down than me were also treated fairly patiently. Could this be the "ruined" Hungarian healthcare system? Or was I the only one being given VIP treatment without my knowledge, as part of a secret conspiracy?

Tonight will be three weeks since my adopted baby literally tore my nose off, scarred my face 2mm from my eye. From the bottom of my heart, I would like to say a grateful THANK YOU to the doctor of the Emergency Department IV, Dr. Zsolt Hunor Sütő, for the quick reaction, intervention, work and help, as well as to Dr. Tamás Rácz Rácz, head of the Department of Ear, Nose and Throat, who was on duty that day, who sutured the "torn bitten" wounded nose, stitched up my wounded face. THANK YOU for the excellent work, dear Chief Medical Officer! You are a wonderful fairy professional! ETERNAL GRATITUDE and RESPECT! I would reward and characterize Egri Markhot Ferenc Hospital with 5 "stars": humane, accurate, attentive care, orderly, clean, friendly environment, friendly, wonderful doctors, very cute, kind and helpful nurses. We made a forced visit to the Emergency Department and then to Neurology. Everyone I met was a kind, knowledgeable professional who performed his work conscientiously. Thanks.

I do not recommend Dr. Monika Linhartová. You come to the doctor's office and you have the impression of her, what do you even dare to bother, unsympathetic. She completely ruined my whole view of the clinic, so I will have the operation somewhere else, where they have a different approach. I work in the healthcare industry, and I haven't come across this, I don't understand how they can employ her like that.

I had an appointment at Mr. Kříž's orthopedic office, the fact that I waited another hour after the appointment time is really a minimal problem. After arriving, the doctor wrote not even one third of what I told him in the report and that he left out big details (among other things, the fact that I had already completed laser therapy and the problem returned after 14 days !!!). He examined my problematic ankle and Achilles tendon, saying that a sprained ankle can hurt for six months and that there is no swelling, no pain, and neither does the Achilles tendon. He didn't send me for an X-ray, x-ray, anywhere, and he said I can slowly start lifting weights. Of course, it didn't seem like it to me, I had the problem for over 4 months at the time, and minimal exercise in the form of a longer walk was not possible without pain. I made an appointment with a specialist elsewhere, and wonder of the world, the ligaments in the ankles were already fused but they were torn, the ankle was swollen because it was filling with water and there was a small inflammation in the achilles, which was still causing quite a bit of trouble. So it is really sad and outrageously rude at the same time that they allow themselves to treat patients like this at "Pírkáča"! You still really feel like you're a nuisance there! I don't understand what we pay health insurance for? To imagine, if I were stupid and followed the advice of Mr. Dr. Kříž and started with loads, I would definitely renew the whole problem and with great certainty make it worse. So really no for me, I actually don't even understand that for orthopedists it's probably an acute condition, until when you can't walk and only after that they may examine you a little longer, but to discharge the patient and not even send him for an X-ray when, among other things, he fell down the stairs is really a great approach. Thumbs down and never again! I am wiser and I have understood that I will not set foot in such a sloppy workplace again for anything and I will look for specialists who will not only accept you faster, but will really examine and offer comprehensive treatment! And unfortunately I have to give one star to let the review go on, otherwise I wouldn't have given one!

My brother had a full knee replacement at Southern Cross on Tuesday 17/08/2021 and was expected to stay in hospital until at least Thursday 19/08/21. At 11.59pm that day New Zealand went into a Level 4 lockdown. What was Southern Cross Invercargills answer to that? They tried to send my brother home on Wednesday morning 18/08/21 saying the hospital was closed. Where is the duty of care to the patient? He was in a high level of pain and believe it or not without COVID!!! The CARE factor is zero. Even the Surgeon wouldn't carry out face to face assessments! Very, very average, Southern Cross!

Was a great stay. My surgeon was amazing and done an excellent job of my knee replacement. The staff were kind, caring, helpful and compassionate. Food was amazing, great selection tasty and very nourishing. I like that they cater to all food groups. Best hospital experience ever 😊

Absolute best service and care taken with me. I had my gallbladder removed here and the service from the moment I walked in the doors to the moment I left was the absolute best. Every person there gave me such extreme care. Not to mention it didn't feel like a hospital but a warm environment. The food is remarkable and the rooms are so so warm. Best experience!!! Thank you to the amazing staff and surgeon!

Short wait, on time, polite and friendly nurse - horrible test (but that IS the test - so would be horrible anywhere) a but effectively and expediently performed - can’t ask for more to be honest.

I had a hip replacement on 5.12.23. Mr Campion filled me with confidence and I felt in safe hands before during and after the procedure. I can highly recommend this man. My nurses Steph and in particular Julie were so kind and friendly, nothing was too much and they made me feel safe and looked after. My physio Greg was amazingly supportive and has given me confidence in my ability to do the exercises. Thank you to all.

I have only praise for the team today in the Radiology department. They were fantastic and so attentive of my concerns and fears, they kept me informed about the procedure informing me in advance of what to expect. The swift process from booking to having the MRI made things all the better thank you team, you were great. 👏🌟

My procedure, carried out by Mr Aldrich, went very well with no complications and no pain at all to date! The nurses were all cheerful, lovely and very kind. If you have to have an operation, Three Shires is the place to go! Thank you everyone, very much indeed.

Today I visited the clinic twice, I liked the good, warm attitude, and of course the services provided were 5 stars. I did an ultrasound of the veins, an ECG, and an ultrasound of the mammary glands. All doctors are very attentive. By the way, prices for many services are lower than in other clinics. I recommend!
