Best hospital and doctors for kids however the reception is awful. If the doctor asks for a follow up within the same week they should not make you pay just to see if the patient is better. All around kuwait follow ups are free. And giggling on the side like a bunch of kids in preschool. I dont mind paying money but i mind wasting it

I've been to Dar al Shifa Hospital several times, and it's undoubtedly a large and modern facility. The staff, especially those at the information desks and security, were exceptionally helpful, making my visits more comfortable. I received excellent care from the skilled doctors and nurses when I sought support in the ENT and General Surgery departments. However, there are a few issues to note. The hospital's parking lot is consistently full, which can be frustrating. Fortunately, there's an option to park behind the building. One downside is the appointment system; it can be confusing and inconvenient to have to wait in line with people who don't have appointments, even after scheduling one. Additionally, the pharmacy on the ground floor is frequently busy, resulting in longer waiting times. Despite these downsides, the hospital's overall care and support are commendable, and I appreciate the dedicated staff.

Avoid this hospital. So many negative aspects at so many levels. One top administrators is rude and disrespectful to the patients, disregarding the elderly's mental health and feelings. Prices are astronomical that DO NOT reflect any of the services of the hospital. Room sizes are small, all windows with no curtains in Kuwait's constant sunny days! The surgeons are supposed to be highly rated, yet were surprisingly dishonest with their patients treatment plans. The hospital just keeps asking for extra charges over and over. Thats their priority. Keep away as you, the patient, are not part of their primary care at all. Do not put your health at risk here. You are better off going to any other respectful private hospital in Kuwait where the patient's care, comfort, and well being is their primary concern and not their pockets.

AVOID THIS HOSPITAL Although they have good doctors, the building itself can not be called a hospital. Avoid this hospital unless you are able to sleep in bright daylight because apparently their designers have not heard about curtains. The management have no expertise in dealing with elder patients. They are very rude and impolite. The worse experience in our life.

Very poor customer service, I called asking about lab tests, before I could finish I was put on hold and transferred where nobody answered. I have then called 6 times but no one answered. You should better.

Horrible experience. They dont treat Emergency patients as emergency at all. No matter how bad your health is, you will have to wait for the "ticket" system and the fact that there is only 1 nursing station for emergency patients, before you go to the actual doctor does not help at all. We faced 2 doctors after about 1 hour of waiting in the emergency. The doctor was vague and rude, did not help at all and even after doctor checkup, even getting a saline drip you have to keep reminding the nurses about it. Not to mention every step you have to go back to the reception to pay some amount. Can they not just total the amount and let us pay at the end? So very inconvenient. Definitely never going back. Also to mention the Pakistani doctor Majed, or Wajed, was horrible. Did not give any opinion to the patient and kept going "yes i see" the whole time. Horrible doctor. should be ashamed

I have never felt respected and treated better as I was in this hospital as a patient.

I tried and failed to book an appointment for my daughter, trying to speak German, thought my German is not so good yet, I still have a certification for an A2 level. I have been told in a very rude way that I should learn to speak German before trying to book an appointment. This kind of people makes me vomit.

I had a big femur tumor which needed curettage and plate. I was recommended Prim. Martin Dominkus. I came from Romania for my surgery. The entire process went through flawless: communication, registration, preoperative examination, surgery, post surgery care. Medical staff is extremly organised but very calm. I got the referral of a doctor, ginecologist for a problem that I have been dealing for too long. The doctor received me in few days after the contact and was quite receptive to my concerns and requests which required diligent action in a short period of time due to my work leave (also very short). We set a date for the sugery and I was impressed that the contact was very speedy and allowed me to send every remaining document by email . I asked for a quotation of the total price, that was sent to me few days prior to the sugery, in which stated the total value of the intervention and hospital fees. All the inconvenience started after surgery: the nurses not atentive at all, always in a rush to fill you up with drugs and leaving you behind without even trying to understand what was going on for each case since they receive many pacients for plastic surgery therefore they assume all patients are there for the same " vain" reasons. I was there for other reasons, but even so I had paid my entire bill like anyone, so I deserved the private quality service I was paying for. The health assistants were also very rude and whenever I would press the button to call for assistance during night shifts , they were the first to come instead of medical nurses and they were the ones to evaluate weather you were or not entitled to be given assistance. I required very scarce times their assistance and just preferred to crawl by my on and manage what I needed. I stumbled once and no one came to check up on me, if there were consequences. Water was giving rarely, some would save the bottles if you had other sitting on the night stand. 3 days enduring that, without being able to complain, or having relatives come and check for me. My family leaved in another city. (Husband who stayed with the kids). After i left the nurse who took the last cateter made me bleed perfusively and i almost fainted. The personel took me to take the cab with no wheelchair, I had to walk for 10 min after being laying for 3 days. I have been living in Paris, hospitalized there, lived in US also hospitalized there, been in a private clinic in Brazil where I gave birth South africa private hospitals and also were really wonderfully treated. This was by far the WORST experience and service provider! NEVER will I recommend it nor use it any time !

I have contacted hospital via email on 03.10.2023, to specify the price of chemotherapy course for my father. Today is already 30.10.2023, and I still didnt get any response. I am not a doctor, but I am sure that response for a people who need a chemotherapy course couldn't be around one month. In case you value the lives of your loved ones, please do not contact this place.

Infrastructure of the clinic is a disaster. I couldn't even find an elevator to other floor, then I waited for 15 minutes in wrong places, it its not clear where to go, no one tell you the right place to wait. Why not to do 1 reception and then lead people to consultation directly, this micro management is awful

Kudos to all nursing staff. They were a great support during the difficult times. Night staff were exceptional always running to people’s aid - I felt they were overloaded with work. Found new respect for the night staff The facilities staff were so polite, lot of patience and so respectful. They were amazing people. Over all great service and support. Worst hospital. Only because of good doctor we came here except that each and every thing here is worst. We were in the general ward and there was no nurse call option provided. My father was the attendant and he had surgery just 3 days back and he used to go near the nurse desk for help,l. Except a few nurses all others were very rude. The admission process took a long time because of insurance pre approval even if we had shared all documents 3 days before. Such a big hospital but for billing only one person was there which took a long time during discharge, Bought medicines from hospital of nearly 9k and not a single penny discount on medecine. All tests were 10 times more costly then outside. This hospital is just looting patients. If you have enough money then you can choose this hospital. There is no limit on looting patients here.

I, or we, would like to thank the doctors and nurses who looked after and cared for our father and husband from the bottom of our hearts. The situation wasn't easy for us, but everyone always answered our questions openly and honestly, even if they asked the question 20 times. They stood by our side in his and our most difficult hour. They are really unfiendly. I am learning German because I live here but my german is not sufficient enough to book medical appointment. If you can't understand me that is okay but you don't have to be rude!

Nurses are kind, the place is clean. You must speak german at least on a minimum level and understand what they say to use the services.

The Family Planning and IVG service is incredible, I recommend 100% Welcoming, smiling, attentive and open-minded care. I made an appointment for a contraceptive consultation and the installation was done the same day. I was also offered to do STI screenings directly and even given the opportunity to discuss it with the counselor/psychologist available in place. Highly recommended !

I think one of the best hospitals in terms of "gynecological emergencies", good care, less waiting and the staff is friendly. I met a gynecologist who took care of me really TOP. on the other hand the level 2 nurses, not all of them but the good ten that I had to meet who wanted them to explain my whole situation in front of everyone when it's not easy and they didn't care, I found their attitude quite a pity but really this hospital is TOP.

Very warm welcome at the nuclear medicine department, the nurses, doctors and receptionists are all very empathetic and smiling. What a pleasure to be cared for and taken care of like this when I imagine that it must not be easy for them every day. Perfect 👍

I had a planned ORL surgery with Professor Mirghani and his team, the team was very professional and I am very happy with the results. I had a good experience at the hospital which is modern and comfortable.

I was recently hospitalised for an operation, I found the doctors and nurses very kind however the people at reception are not friendly at all , particularly this lady, probably in her 50s with vision glasses on. I approached her to help me with the information to avail the taxi service ( which a patient is entitled to and is being paid by Social security) and since my French langage skills is not good, I opted to talk to her in English, she could converse in English but she kept arguing with me that I am lying about not being able to speak french. Even though it’s not her job, I choose to be nice and insisted that I am not comfortable in speaking French, she asked me for my cart-vital just to prove her point to me that I have lived enough time in France to be able to speak French. Instead of helping me find a taxi, she kept arguing and accusing me of lying. I was in pain and could not stand there arguing with her so I opted to just leave after letting her know that she is not being nice. I could still hear her arguing and probably cursing while I was leaving. Later, I regretted not noting down her name so I could complain to the management of hospital. A lady probably in her late 50s, of black origin and wears vision glasses ( explaining her features since I didn’t write down her name) I hope not other patients have had the same experience.

I went in via the emergency room as I had severe stomach pain. Although it took until the evening to get me admitted, the doctors, nurses, and other staff were kind and attentive. I have to say I was very hesitant to go in due to the reviews. I even held on to the pain for two days. But my experience wasn't entirely bad.

Great hospital, top team in all maternity services: pathological pregnancy, cesarean section room, gyn.obstetrics, psychologist nursing staff!! Everything is perfect: care, kindness, professionalism, responsiveness, monitoring before childbirth and postpartum, advice, listening....A big thank you to the entire healthcare team, dr, midwives, caregivers and also the neonatology staff! Thanks to my dr Tsilanizara, dr Vachez (cesarean section) and to all the internal and attending doctors who took care of me Thank you Claire, René, the OR nurse (and all the SFs whose first names I don't have). Go your way this hospital is to flee all specialties combined. Renowned for making NURSING STUDENTS MISERY, as if they had never been students before! I hope that the director of this establishment will act... one day... because it is at stake for the psychological health of students who end their studies or fall into depression because of these NURSES who think they are all powerful. Excellent staff of internal medicine: after many months looking for a diagnosis, they were the first and only to listen, study my symptoms, and find the cause in a rare illness, before sending me to the appropriate structure in Cochin. The structure is modern and clean; 5 stars also to the chef: the good food made my weeks there more pleasant.

Saw the emergency room in the middle of the night, waited less than half an hour, it was quite fast, the doctors and nurses were very caring, and there was even breakfast, although it was simple.

My anesthesiologists were playing Joanne while putting me to sleep. Great and kind staff. Very positive experience.

You guys don't think much about the staff letting work 12hrs continuously for 5days and give them duty on next day. This is an hospital and you guys need to keep your staff mentally and physically fit and not exploiting them. You such type of work ethic could lead to many legal cases so I request the HR department to regularly monitor the incharge and many of your staff are quitting there job so you better find the reason why they are quitting and stop recruiting the bunch of people every week.

This is my first visit with Escort Fortis hospital Jullena. One of the worst services in return of hefty charges by hospital against the services provided to patients and attendent. On the cash counter only one resource is there who is managing discharge of IPD patients, emergency patient registration,issuing of ward pass,answering of query call,handling patient attendents. It is really called save 100% money without hiring man power. It took 30 min for me just for the patient registration. Nurse in emergency rudely behave with patients. She was on mobile and doctor asked her to attend the patient then after 5-10 min she start work as per Dr instructions. She didn't use curtain to cover the female patient and start procedure. In emergency there is a bed but bed sheet of patient bed looks very dirty not washed properly. There is no glucose bottle stand on each bed of emergency. Really Fortis hospital only charging royalty amount from us. I recommend hospital management have a look of holy family hospital and learn hospitality cleanliness and administration from them. At least holy family hospital has sufficient staff and caring nurses with clean floor and washrooms. I will give bed sheet photo also but patient was there and you can see there is no side stand there. Emergency bed charges 1000 Doctor 2100 Registration 200 Plus. Lab charges. Don't know how they are managing labs do they really take care of hygiene or not. Hospital charges are high and services in negative -100.

They deserved 5 stars for treatmet but i gave 3 for their billing irregularities. Please check your bill twice before making final payment. I've found inconsistency in their billing. Being an international patient they charged me in USD but refund my excess payment in rupeis for which i had to struggled a lot. Moreover they gave me counterfeit notes which they declined to replace from me.

All calls from November R5 It's now just a number. The accounting system has also been changed to an automatic payment machine. However, even if you still make a reservation It takes 2-3 hours to pay the bill.

I am a hearing-impaired person. The doctor said that his hearing loss would interfere with medical treatment. I would like someone who is healthy to accompany me. I was brought to the hospital by ambulance in the middle of the night due to severe pain and vomiting due to a ureteral stone. There is a large free parking lot. Reservations are given priority for consultations. The food I eat while in the hospital is not very tasty.

Horrible! Dont go to this clinic. The most unfriendly employees I have experienced in this Hospital. Yes I do speak spanish but once I didnt understand smth the lady just ignored me! Errors start already in front of the Clinic. Apparently they don't know the difference between a Swiss flag and a medical (red!!!) cross. So my question: is this a Swiss Clinic??? Of course not...

My mom got a well planned surgery in this Clinic. Excellent outstanding service what a relief. Fast service, very diligent and well trained all staff. Great place to get well and get some recovery. If you get sick go there you will be fine quickly. Do not visit Los Nogales clinic or La Colina. Marly is the best! Thank you all for your service! Mom is doing great. The doctor was very profesional!

I unfortunately fractured my arm during my holiday to beautiful Salzburg. My experience of my time in the hospital was second to none, fantastic holistic care from start to finish. All staff were extremely curteous, polite, friendly, professional and genuinely cared. Care flowed well in a very swift manner, just what you need when injured. All the worry of payment was handled from the hospital to my insurance provider which was a comfort. Thank you

I had visited this hospital with my husband for a normal check up. and upon arriving I was informed that we would have to pay an outpatient fee of 229 euro and no other fee will be charged. hence we got all the check up done that was necessary. we had visited on 3rd October and on 14th December, I receive a bill of 700 euro via email stating that I am yet to pay the over and above bill which was ridiculous of them, and upon which they state that the bill is made after 4-6 weeks and then it is sent to the patient and ideally a patient should be informed at the same moment what their bill is and then only a hospital gives discharge to any patient or writes down any medicines but we were let go and after 2 months we receive more bill from their side. this is very bad intentions from their side and kindly refrain from going here as this is only a tactic to give a bill later on.

That was an awesome experience. I've arrived and within 10min I was already talking to a doctor and the team there solved my problem within another 5min and I could return back home. They've also been really nice and explained everything well that they did. Compared to any other hospital in Vienna this was truly a treat

Friendly and competent staff. I went here after I fractured my ankle and the weekly appointment after. The wait times were not too long and the staff were able to answer any questions I had. If you are in the area and have the option to choose which hospital to go to, I recommend this one.

Ski Accident, got here directly by helicópter. I leave few days after very happy and satisfied. I never felt alone, even my family was 300 km away. High profesionals , motivated and open to support on anything that may help. Infrastructure is new and clean. Many thanks!!

During the restriction of COVID, I wasn’t able to say big thank you to everybody at the hospital. My mother had an operation in this hospital in August 2022. She has problem with her arteries of the legs. Everything was done at an excellent level before the operation during and after. My mother is shocked by such a caring service. Highest level and professionals. Once again many thanks to all your team who were involved in helping my mother.

I broke my leg snowboarding and was hospitalized here. The team knew exactly what they needed to do, very experienced, efficient and professional. I cannot imagine there being a better service than this. Very grateful to the people who work here.

Excellent service! Attended the mouth, jaw and face unit after experiencing extreme pain in my tooth whilst on a European road trip. I was seen very quickly, x rayed and diagnosed with a severe tooth infection. I was offered multiple choices for treatment and was given a prescription for pain relief with directions to a local pharmacy. The dentists we're excellent, even with a slight language barrier. I'm now back in England and struggling to even see a dentist. I wish my experience was as good here. Brilliant, thank you.

Dr are very nice

The women from the reception are so rude and didn't even listen to what I had to say. I waited 30minutes for an invoice because the only person who can do that was on the lunch break. Also, the doctor who did the sonography which takes 2 minutes told me "it is what it is" after I told him that I have pain in the area that he checked. Never again.

I was staying on the 3rd floor in Confraternität Privatklinik for an ankle surgery last April. All went well, there were no difficulties. Before my stay, the accounting office was very responsive to all inquires. Nurses and doctors were helpful and always assisted me and my needs; they could fluently speak English. I was impressed by the quality of the food! All comes with a price, but that was somehow inline with expectations for a private clinic.

Went there for a knee operation. The receptionist was unwelcoming and rude. The nurse who took the firsr details seems to have been too tired at the end of his shift. Not only did he forget to bring dinner as promised but put some important derails wrong, e.g. that the right knee should be operated and not the left. After 2 nurses and a doctor all kept saying my left knee was to be operated it was really too much. The floor doctor put a needle for the iv which when the nurse tried to hook up was transmitting the liquid outside the vein - which is quite painful! When i yelped at the pain, and corrected for the x time that my right knee should be operated and not the left one, the senior internist doctor in the room said that i was provoking her (!) Another person came to put in the needle for the iv, and after puncturing me about 8 times in different places said he gives up and the aneastesist will hsve to do it at the OP theater. Honestly if the knee surgery was not an emergency (carthilage broke and fractures on kneecap made any movement impossible) i would have walked out. I have to say however that most nurses were kind and compassionate - however when mistakes are put in the system they seemed unable to rectify, which however could have had serious consequences. I gave this information on their feedback form - but there was no resonance. Since this happened during Easter i assume management does not care and the requested feedback was a waste of my time. No surprise that the final bill was inaccuracte. I will not go into this hospital again and do not recommend it.
