Want to give a shout out to the nurses and staff on the 17th floor. I was briefly there this past Thursday to pick up my uncle Juan who received treatment. It felt very welcoming and calm on the floor. I am assuming that they were nurses (I apologize if they’re not) as they were sitting in the central location and also running around taking care of patients. When we asked for a wheelchairs, they processed the request with a smile. One of the folks even asked how my day was going and asked about the Buffalo Bills. I know this may sound small but it’s the little things that can make a difference. I had some anxiety coming to visit and was exhausted from my 8 hour drive to get here, but all that went away when I entered the 17th floor of this hospital.

The nurses, admin team, patient care team I have no complaints about. I dread thinking how the doctors here have handled my Dads care since the very beginning of his AML diagnosis in April. To begin when he was initially admitted, he received his chemo and was discharged with oral meds that he was told to keep taking upon going home. Doing some basic internet research we discovered he was taking the meds for 20 days longer than he was supposed to. We had a teledoc visit with his doctor, she described it as a “misscommunication” and that he indeed took it weeks longer than he was supposed to. Also during this period, he was doing outpatient in New Jersey and never had any follow up from his doctor until weeks after discharge his initial diagnosis. I do not think this is standard. He was discharged with no Oncology follow ups scheduled or anything. When we finally did talk to his Doctor she said to move to a clinical trial that had not been successful on anyone, nor was it even available. She gave him more chemo that did not make any progress towards treating his disease. To say she was hands off is an understatement. I personally messaged about clinical trials that had success with patients with similar diagnosis and subtypes. We were told to reach out to hospitals that had them while she continuously kept stringing my father along without any real plan besides what was already not working. I asked about transplants she said it could kill him, now they have no viable plan as the chemo and lung issues (related) are too much to overcome. I continue to seek treatments for him. In short, I feel like we experienced a 1980s treatment plan, with no creativity or critical thinking applied to treating my Dad. He is a number to (most) of the doctors. They also will scheduled him for blood transfusions once a week on outpatient when he got them daily in the hospital. Extremely frustrating. Their bedside manner was also… abysmal. Offered little hope this whole time and didnt give confidence to other centers that would have been more capable in treating him. I would not recommend MSKCC and wished he went somewhere like Mayo or MD Anderson. Maybe they can be helpful for more straightforward treatment plans, but my Dad has a very rare subtype that made it complicated. Several doctors come off as thinking they are the end all be all of what is known about my father’s disease. Newsflash - we’re all capable of reading studies that show efficacy of treatments but your heads are too far up your own you know wheres to listen to family. They also give off a vibe of thinking they are the Almighty as well and it breaks my heart to see how they spoke to him and how it affects his mood, graces, and personal outlook.

On March 27, my mother was operated on in this center (brain tumor) by doctor Taras Stepanovych Gavryliv. To say that I thank him is not enough. Because he is a doctor from whom everyone should take an example. Responsible, tactful and, in general, professionally treats his patients and people in general. It has been more than half a year since the operation. My mother feels great. She speaks, she is not paralyzed as they told me in our hospital, as they told me in Kyiv. The doctors in the intensive care unit looked after the patients normally and professionally. I was even amazed, and I saw and heard the feedback of other people, patients. I was once given such advice that I would listen to my doctor with my heart. Так і сталося ! working from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., doctor Taras Stepanovych also held online consultations late in the evening. And he did not pick up the phone, did not grumble on the phone, but on the contrary, gave answers calmly, answering questions, reassuring. Я дуже , дуже рекомендую цю клініку і свого лікаря . While the head of rehabilitation is Kateryna Oleksandrivna Zinov'eva - I do not recommend it.

My father has been coming to this medical clinic since 2008. He was diagnosed with blood cancer, and we have been coming here ever since from Armenia. I can happily say that my father is cancer free, and people in here truly cared about him, did the best they could, and always kept in touch. Our experience has been nothing but great here. Based on our experience, I can firmly say that I highly recommend this clinic. We visit them once every 1-2 years at least, and the experience been nothing but great. Absolutely amazing.. from beginning consultations, staff at reception, HNO... all the way down to the operation itself.. I am very very pleased. The ward, staff, and best of all Dr Aziz.. were amazing. One thing I didnt like.. (but I'm not going to let that stop me giving 5 stars).. is the staff in the holding area before and (especially) after the OP. They weren't friendly at all.. before the operation, the guy seemed like he wasn't happy to be there.. like he was fed up with everything and everyone.. Never in my life has a cannula caused me so much pain.... But worst of all.. after the Operation.. even though I was still coming out of the anesthesia, I was fully aware of my surroundings... the female nurse there was busy trying to complete some online course, but because her computer kept freezing or something, she kept shouting and swearing. My mouth was dry and wasn't sure if I was allowed to drink so I asked politely for a sponge used to moisten the mouth.. She just shrugged off my request and didnt help me.. I did later finally get a sip of water from the fed up male attendant.. being in pain and having to listen to the screeching insults being hurled at a PC, wasn't a pleasant experience. However, as soon as the assistant surgeon gave me the adequate pain relief and I was on the ward.. everything was great again. The staff on ward D2 deserve a pay rise. Loved every minute.. The ward itself is very cozy and rooms were luxury.. Best coffee machine ever!! All staff there were very attentive to my needs and helped in any way they could. The aftercare is also amazing.

I've been to this hospital several times and they've always been very helpful and caring. I especially like how there's an English translator to help during your appointments. He or she stays with you and alleviates the stress I'd have if I didn't have one. I've also been to the hospital regarding my ankle and the orthopedic specialist was very thorough and spoke English well. I'm thankful for this hospital and its staff. :)

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! That's first and foremost. From the moment we stepped through the hospital doors, we were in for the best hospital treatment one could have! Mr. Park took us to our room and had us settle in. Right afterwards, Mr. Park went right to work and had me do whatever tests we could get done that evening. The following morning we finished up all the tests and exams before Ms. Sabina took over. She was there to guide and translate for us alongside Mr. Park. The entire hospital staff and nurses had the best hospitality I've ever encountered, and i thank them for everything they have done to make our accommodations more than comfortable. I would also like to thank all the technicians from MRI, X-ray, and Lab for making it pain free as possible. The cleaning staff here are way better than most hotels I've stayed at, they are kind, polite and greet you with a big smile everday. Before my surgery, i couldn't stand or walk for more than 10 minutes as i had a nerve and spine injury and I would love to thank most especially my doctor... Dr. Seok Kwon Kang for taking care of that problem and giving me another chance to walk that extra mile! Long story short 🙂: I had a couple of surgeries on both hip joints when I was one year old. Everything went well at that time, living with the thought that the problem was solved forever, enjoying the outdoor activities I wanted to do. But I was wrong. The day when I started feeling pain in my right hip joint which has also reflected on my walking mobility was the life challenge I didn't ask for. It was not the way I was imaging my life further, pills were not helping a lot, the only way out was the surgery (hip replacement). As I am not Slovak, at first it was hard for me to decide where to do it, here or go home, you know so many things to take into consideration including the care after surgery especially if you do not have any family member beside you. I did search on net and found this clinic which took my attention as potential one based on all the info and patient testimonials I read. Fortunately, the orthopedist MUDr. Jozef Vojtaššák, PhD who did all my examinations advised me that this is the clinic where he is performing the surgeries. And actually this was the decisive piece for my dilemma. Today, after 15 days from the successful surgery I am happy that I feel the difference and for this nice feeling I would like sincerely to thank MUDr. Jozef Vojtaššák, PhD for his professional and caring approach, for all his support, advises and answers to my million questions, to all nurses and physiotherapists from the Clinica Orthopedica and Spine Clinic for their unconditional care, patience, friendly approach and kindness who made my two weeks stay in the clinic like home.Looking back now, it was maybe fast but definitely right decision to make, not regretting at all, thankful and grateful to the whole medical team who has for sure overachieved my expectations. My wife had a serious knee injury, surgery seemed to be inescapable, but the doctor made the utmost to avoid it, excellent diagnostic, took time to look into it and decision taken to go the conservative way. 02/15/2021 was at the clinic, 02/18/2021 has already been operated on!!! To say that I am happy is beyond words! So many years of torment and wandering around doctors either refused or did not give any encouraging forecasts even in the most famous clinics in the country !!! Myopia - 10.5, large astigmatism, cataracts, bad cornea. And now the miracle doctor Armen Andranikovich Ginoyan is a genius, a magician, a jeweler and just a warm-hearted person!!! Gave me back my sight and a new life!!! Everyone before him predicted a difficult rehabilitation for me within six months. But I see and feel great on the second day!!! No discomfort The operated eye feels better than before the operation!!! I walk without dark glasses, my eyes do not water in the sun. I cry only from happiness that we have such talented people and kind hearts in our country!!! At my dad's request I am leaving this review. As a result of long and intense work at the computer, as well as for age-related reasons, my dad’s eyesight deteriorated significantly. By the time of contacting the MedElect clinic to A.A. For Ginoyan, my dad’s initial situation with his eyes looked like this. Left eye: myopia -5.5 diopters, early stage of cataract. Right eye: -9.5 diopters, cataract. Dad was amazed and very pleased by the thoroughness and comprehensiveness of the study of the initial state of the eyes using various equipment (even a tomography of each eye was carried out!..). As a result of this detailed, but very quick examination, naturally, it was possible to accurately determine the choice of diopters and the type of artificial lenses (monofocal lenses were chosen). First, surgery was performed on the right eye, and 1 month later on the left. The teamwork and coordination of the entire operating team, the experience and skill of the surgeon are at their best - A.A. Ginoyan. I was surprised by the attention even to such a small detail: a special cushion was placed under the knees of the person being operated on, which made being on the operating table very comfortable. The operations themselves were absolutely painless and did not take long (about 10-15 minutes for each eye). After the operation, my father became farsighted, but at the same time retained the ability to work at the computer without glasses. Even after all the operations A.A. I had a good experience with Dr Carlos for MRI scans and follow-up appointments. However, the billing team and administration is very unorganized and has caused me a huge amount of stress and suffering. I am a full yinsured patient and they have been unable to submit my invoices to correct insurers, failed to communicate with me when my insurance companies have missed something, and start chasing down payments of plus 2 years old using debt collection agencies. Beware, stay away from the Schoen Clinics as they are very unprofessional. Have never experienced anything quite like this. In April 2023, a debt collection agency contacted me saying invoice over due with Schoen Clinic. I was shocked as my insurance company should have settled this 1 year ago. Cigna subseqeuntly settled the bill quickly on my behalf once I took lead on it. To be clear, I never recieved one piece of communication from Schoen Clinic saying the bill had not been settled by my insurance company and they went straight to debt collection agency even though I have a long history with the clinic as an insured patient. In November 2023, I get contacted again by a debt collection agency. Schoen were unable to tell me in April 2023 that there was also £175 invoice and a fee of £100 that had not been paid by Axa in 2020. Clearly at this point I am losing all hope with the Schoen Clinic and am insulted that they would raise these trivial amounts via agency this long ago. I struggle to even remember what they are for, have not recieved invoices and to make matters worse you cant even contact somebody in person to talk to about it.

Absolutely terrible. Didn’t help my knee at all. Left in the waiting room for 50mins for appt. Then I apparently had £12 bill outstanding. I had a baby. Then I find out they’ve passed the £12 bill to a debt collector who has rolled it up and added a load of fees.

This review is for the administration, not the health professionals, which I will post separately. I attended for a consultation on 14th March and paid an invoice that day which I was led to believe covered everything. At the end of July I was chased for an outstanding invoice of £400 for two x-rays which was supposedly raised on 15th March. I queried it, but to no avail. And only today have I finally received the actual invoice, 5 months late! In view of my being originally misinformed and the delay in providing the invoice, a small reduction? Not a chance!

Waiting time was about 1.5 hours It was already borderline. I urgently sought an orthopedist because of a herniated disc. Unfortunately, the reality is this. Several people rejected me on the phone. I asked for an appointment by email. After about a week the answer came. You can come on November 23rd. After a few days, a lady called me and gave me an appointment to see the gentleman on November 17th due to the pain Kubosh. This doctor did everything right for me. He chose the right therapy for me. He took his time and explained every step. I am very satisfied with this clinic.

Badly organized. After waiting four months for an appointment for a stress fracture in the foot, it was postponed again two days beforehand. There was an alternative appointment at short notice, but I had to cancel it after waiting two hours. It was not possible to say how long I would have to stay in the waiting room and I had to go back to work. If it's already so long to find an appointment, I unfortunately don't understand why the waiting time on site is still so long. Conclusion: The clinic only seems suitable for people with an exceptional amount of time. It may be easier for private patients.

In March of this year, my wife received an artificial hip joint at the joint clinic. She was very well informed in advance by Professor Konstantinidis. She spent a total of 4 days in the clinic... Room top...food great.... Nursing staff very accommodating! The physiotherapist is great! Today she is fully mobile again and has no restrictions. This clinic can be recommended 100 percent.

While I appreciated the procedure being done my beef is this places billing department only affords you 6 months to pay your balance. So even tho I have insurance through my place of employment and reached my déductible prior to surgery, and even though I have been making payments monthly for the remaining 20% ... if my balance isn't paid in full within 6 months their "policy" is to send it to collections. Now I was offered 'financial assistance' IF I submit two or three years of taxes, plus several paycheck stucs. (So basically all of my personal information) which is not only time consuming but also invasive. I'm just a single gal trying to make ends meet. I needed the surgery to prevent further complications down the road so I elected to have it done. Perhaps I missed information prior to getting the surgery? But I NEVER thought that even though I am paying monthly a fair amount towards the remaining balance that I would STILL be threatened with having it go to collections. And just for that reason I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Period

The Nurses, CNAs, PTs, & Staff were all AMAZING!!! My mom had knee surgery a week ago and our experience there was great!! Everyone was kind and helpful from admission to post op. I can’t remember everyone’s names but I did take some down! We loved how kind and helpful her nurse Kaylani was!!! The most important part to us was having a Spanish speaking nurse on staff. My mom only speaks Spanish and it was so comforting to us knowing at night she was left with someone she could understand and communicate with! Thank you to Josephina and Nasthja for taking such good care of my mom! The physical therapist, Ruth is incredible!!! My mom adored her and made us feel confident about taking her home!! Special thank you to KASS, CNA!!!! She provides excellent patient care. Spine and Joint hospital provided quality care!

Arizona Spine and Joint Hospital gave me outstanding service and care during my stay. I would also like to thank Dr. T, his wife Kate, and Dr. Kralik for their great skills and knowledge. I'm so thankful my wife and I found these skilled surgeons. I had my total hip replacement surgery here six days ago and everything went great. Dr.Ravnihar is great and he took his time to make everything perfect for me. His staff at B2 ward is full of love for patients and find it not hard to do their job. One more thing that was very good to me. Food at this hospital is excelent and some restaurants might be envy of the cook here. All in all,if you need some joint replaced,come here and you will not be dissapointed.

Dentist Dr Riikka Vahtera and her team are very nice, kind and professional. The clinic’s facilities and instruments are top notch - the most advanced I’ve seen in Finland, Canada and the UK. I would definitely recommend!

I have been to the dentist. For one filling I payed 300 euro! I know that the dentist work is expensive in Finland but that’s absurd! (One simple cavity filling!!! And it was not even a very great job done) Besides that, I payed 150 at the cash counter and then I received one more letter in which I was requested to pay 150 more because they forgot to add the doctor fee!

Nobody answers the phone (I was on hold for 45 minutes). When someone answered, they were unwelcoming/rude. The doctor was not available for a week she said. The doctor Marcin Panek does not know how to use a computer, he could not view/open my x-ray CD. He does not know how to type on a keyboard (takes very long time to type with two fingers). before even looking at my x-ray(because it would not open on his computer) he said I needed surgery(!?!). He recommended two hospitals/doctors for surgery, but after looking them up I saw bad/low reviews for these places. I got two more opinions at other orthopedic offices and they said surgery was not necessary. He only has 3 reviews on znanylekarz.pl... they do not do surgeries here anymore. EFFI was good when DR Łukasz Budziazek worked there, but he no longer is there. They have changed the name of EFFI to "New medical+"

I have been waiting 3 weeks for a report that was suppose to take ten days, I called to confirm when and they said one more day and now they push me straight to voicemail. I do not recommend. Very unprofessional. Then the doctor told me I immediately needed surgery and a metal plate put in my neck! I went for two other opinions and both others disagreed fully. These people are not good and knife crazy. Scary stuff. STAY AWAY.

[EDIT] After contact with the manager of the facility, who was very helpful and understanding, she arranged for an earlier appointment and apologized for the situation. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I would give a minus rating if I could. First appointment they forgot to book it in the system and I drove there 40 min for nothing, no apology or anything, just normal for them.. Second time I arrived right on schedule just to be told I couldn’t go in as i HAD to be there 20 min earlier while their message confirming my appointment only requested to be 20 min earlier more in a suggestive manner. Lovely place..

I went in for my first surgery a few days ago and everyone at the surgical centre was great. I felt well taken care of from the moment I walked in. I was extremely anxious and they did everything they could to make me comfortable, and followed up the next day. Thank you to the whole team that worked with me! And an extra thanks to the nurse who held my hand when I was scared 💜

Great staff, everyone was so nice! After a terrible experience 10 years previous at a surgical centre downtown on Burrard, I was expecting the same terrible treatment. Instead, I was so pleasantly surprised! The anesthesiologist, Demitri, gave me a local anesthetic before putting the intravenous needle into the back of my hand which I very much appreciated! All the nurses were kind to me. From start to finish, everyone was so great and treated me well.

Only ten days from diagnosis to surgery to repair my Inguinal Hernia. Dr. Scudamore and his team were amazing. The entire process with False Creek was a pleasant experience largely due to Dr. Scudamore’s ability to listen and understand my concerns, recovery objectives and how I wanted the surgery performed. Open surgery, no mesh, used my own fascia to repair the tear and he also took the time to tie off vessels rather then cauterization. Minimal tissue damage! Can’t say enough good things!

I was at Burwood Hospital for 2 weeks in the Rehab Ward going to Physio and working on my injured left ankle. Thanks to the fine work of everyone involved I was able to regain my independence with what I had learned. Everyone who worked there and it didn't matter who it was encouraged me with their attitude,good work ethic and duty of care.They were able to get the best out of me despite the fact the Health Sector is having various problems of it's own to deal with. Although my opinion may differ greatly from others I'm sticking to my opinion that these people who despite working under pressure at times showed me how to get the job done with a smile and I will be forever grateful to them all for the effort they all put in helping me on the road to recovery

Very good hospital, awesome and experienced specialists! Doctors, nurses, physio therapists, people from administration - everyone very kind and friendly. Food is also very tasty 😋

I went for pain therapy/diagnosis. The final report differs from what was experienced. It lists therapies that I did not receive. After 16 days of stay, my treating doctor changed. I was taken in by an understanding doctor who also recognized the success of my own therapy. Another doctor wrote the final report, which is essential for my future medical career. The report praises the in-house therapy and downplays my personal successes against my illnesses. Now it's clear to me why you only get the report when you leave, i.e. at the door. Painkillers such as ibuprofen, which only numb the pain for a short time, are preferred here. I felt that the pain therapy was standardized. Individual deviations were not wanted. It was difficult or impossible to get used to multiple illnesses and alternative therapies here! The therapists were great. And it's pretty there too. However, there was a lack of opportunities to provide appropriate self-therapy in rooms and equipment (including outdoors). Ordering food was a disaster.

First the positive: The food is great, the kitchen team does a great job. For my birthday I received a birthday card from the kitchen team and a small, lovingly prepared fruit bowl. Thanks again for that. Ms. Noak, my physiotherapist in charge, is great, she explains the connections in a way that you can understand. She is sensitive and radiates calm. The nurses on ward 7 are trying very hard, but you can also sense some dissatisfaction, which I can understand. Now about my treatment. I am very disappointed about this, I would have liked more diagnostics, not just a gait analysis. My request for an MRI examination of the cervical and lumbar spine was rejected with the words: “We don’t see any need for that.” The CDs I had with me were already 2-3 years old, but were sufficient for the doctors who were responsible for me. The therapies I had were good to very good, but they mostly took place in the morning, so that you were knocked out by lunchtime. Sometimes you had to eat your breakfast within minutes. Stan had a lot on his agenda in the afternoon, but it was either watching videos about breathing therapy, which the group had already done in the morning, or using two devices in the hallway. So I went back home with tips and some rest, but with just as much pain as at the beginning. I think I was just unlucky with my doctors.

Really good service: appointment on time, explanation of the diagnostic, good intervention process. Personnel are knowing well their job. Perhaps the pharmacy service need to be improved a little bit because waited some time to catch up my medicine.

Best place for the caring and treatment Today I had done a surgery with Dr Tamar and Dr Nabeel. As a staff of Harley Street I understood how my colleagues treat a patient, they treated me well, it doesn't mean I am the staff, they are treating everyone like this. Some of their providers are really good and you can get in pretty quickly. The back thing is everything else. They told me to expect test results in 2-3 days. I called a week later. No results. They called me back later that day with the results and seemed agitated, "Well the doctor had to read them first mam." Well don't tell me 2 to 3 days then. The second incident they called me and said I needed to take x-rays or I couldn't proceed with services. I had two upcoming appointments. I asked them to cancel those appointments because I was unable to get in for an x-ray in the next two weeks. They called me the day before my appointment to remind me to come in. I told them it was canceled and gave them the date. Oh will call you back. No one ever called me back. I called them that same evening and again someone will call you back. No one called me back. I called the very next morning and no one picked up the phone. They called me back later that evening and said we noticed that you called today. I explain the situation and the man said the appointments had never been canceled as requested but they would cancel them now. He also told me I could come in for my x-rays at any time. I decided to go the next day. When I got there the next day, they were confused about why I was there and said there was no order for an x-ray. The doctor that I had seen was not there and they were trying to get someone to write the order. I waited for 30 minutes and I told them I would just leave and call back. They had forgotten. As I was driving away, they called me and told me to come back and take the x-ray. I'm going to finish this particular service. But after that I will not be getting any additional medical treatment here.
