Founded 30 years ago, the Oncology Nucleus of Bahia (NOB) joined the Oncoclínicas Group in 2014. The clinic offers comprehensive and individualized care to cancer patients, with medical consultations, outpatient cancer treatment (chemotherapy, hormone therapy, target drugs, immunotherapy ), supportive medications, hair cryotherapy, medical follow-up during hospital stays and a medical team for emergency support available 24 hours a day. Together with the administrative team, we are more than 115 employees and 65 doctors working for the mission of fully caring for the patient, with excellence, humanism and ethics. OC Oncoclínicas NOB offers all patients undergoing outpatient treatment a nursing team with experience and technical skills, as well as clinical pharmacy, psychology and nutrition , complementing the care needed during treatment. The institution has a research center with numerous clinical studies developed over the years, which represents a weapon in the fight against cancer and brings new technologies to the population in the fight against the disease. Grupo Oncoclínicas also has an exclusive partnership in Brazil with the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, one of the most renowned cancer research and treatment centers in the world, affiliated with Harvard Medical School, in Boston, USA. Currently, the OC Oncoclínicas NOB has three units located in the districts of Ondina (headquarters) and in the Medical Center of Hospital da Bahia, in Salvador, and in the municipality of Lauro de Freitas, in the Metropolitan Region of Salvador. Strong points * Qualified medical team with a lot of technical knowledge. *Comfortable overall structure Weaknesses * Punctuality does not exist. It is normal for there to be hours of delays in service. * Parking staff somewhat rude and unhelpful. * In the waiting room on the second floor, very sickening and irritating piano music plays.

I gave priority to starting treatment at the clinic, on the recommendation of an incredible doctor. I was received very well by Dr. Clarissa and Dr. Liliana who are accompanying me in this process, but the reception team, appointments, among others, do not have the same desire to help, I believe that they are not strongly aligned with the purpose of the institution, there is no point in having welcoming doctors and the other sectors are involved in the process . Immediately they need to go through a recycling, the clinic has to be a welcoming and harmonious place.
