The St. Josef Hospital in Vienna is a non-profit religious order hospital. It has almost 220 beds and is open to all patients, regardless of their health insurance company. As part of the parent-child center, consisting of a large obstetrics department and a children's department with neonatology, we offer a wide range of services related to pregnancy and childbirth. In 2021 we looked after more than 4,100 births, making us the largest maternity clinic in Austria. Another focus of the house is the treatment of tumor diseases, especially of the breast, intestine, esophagus and stomach. Comprehensive internal, surgical and gynecological care as well as modern radiology and anesthesia complete the offer. The aim is to provide the best possible medical and personal support for people in life-changing situations.The hospital is certified according to ISO/pCC and is an academic teaching hospital of the Medical University of Vienna and the Vienna University of Applied Sciences. A good network with special clinics, the established area and extramural services ensures a high quality of care.Thanks to its manageable size, the hospital offers modern medicine in a family setting.
