Branch No. 5 was founded in 1951 as a multidisciplinary military medical institution. Since 1993 it is a clinical hospital. In the 4-story medical building there are departments of therapeutic, surgical, diagnostic and specialized profile.The branch (including polyclinics) has 55 specialized medical, diagnostic departments and rooms equipped with modern medical equipment. The branch works in the system of compulsory health insurance. The branch employs 3 doctors and 14 candidates of medical sciences, 2 professors, 4 associate professors, 8 honored doctors of the Russian Federation, 2 honored healthcare workers, more than half of the doctors and nurses have the highest qualification category. Branch No. 5 provides medical assistance to: - conscripted servicemen in Moscow; - contracted servicemen attached to polyclinics of military institutions and military educational institutions of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation; - military personnel and generals, officers, warrant officers and midshipmen of the reserve (retired) who have the right to medical care through the Ministry of Defense of Russia, who are in Moscow in transit, on vacation and business trips; - with all diseases, except for patients with acute infectious diseases and mental disorders; - family members of cadre and reserve officers; - military pensioners; - civilian personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
