The surgeon had more commitments and I was only able to speak to him briefly, I was embarrassed with him for having delayed him because of the situation in which they put you in this place. My patient's discharge was at 2 in the afternoon and we managed to leave at 10 at night because the mediocre accounts department doesn't feel like working or answering any of the 3 extension numbers so one as a family member has to be going down to ask them to do their job, I walked around several times because they assured me that the information had already been sent to the insurance company, which was a lie, they had not done anything and they have the nerve to assure you that the problem is the insurance company, the young man who was attending My application between giggles told me that the authorization was already there and I could go to admissions to leave, I suffered mockery from the staff. It is not possible that they treat family members like this, zero empathy, zero professionalism, as I read in another comment, we do not pay for gum and we are not willing to endure this terrible treatment.
