2 months ago was my aunt's valve change operation and it was a complete success. I am very grateful for everything they did before, during and after the operation. The months before the operation, each of the specialists showed a very humane treatment, an adjective that paradoxically is seen less and less in doctors. After the operation, they kept her hospitalized for more than 3 weeks and did not discharge her until the tests they performed daily gave good results, that is, without showing any rush to free up a bed, prioritizing the patient's safety. I don't know why there are no cameras in the hospital. At least in the nurses' room. Every time I went to the pediatric emergency room the same thing happened. Nurses talking about personal matters, laughing loudly, as if they were in a bar. And when we make any requests, they are rude, rude and even mocking. I spent 14 hours there with my 3-year-old son. I didn't even see hygiene (the minimum expected in a hospital). Sheets used by patients the night before were left on the chair (until the time I left, they were still there). Children with infectious diseases (gastroenteritis, severe flu...) were discharged and the seats were not sanitized. They directed me to the resting chair, when I sat down I felt something dripping on me. It was the nebulizing mask that a child had worn during the night. I myself had to sanitize the armchair my son was in. Holding him with one hand and rubbing alcohol with the other. Chaos. I filed a complaint with the ombudsman and to this day I have not received a response. I will formalize a new complaint with the ANS with photos and videos.

I think this hospital is great, I had 2 surgery there. I am from United States. The Dr used was Dr luis Eduardo Barbosa. His staff was excellent. The front desk at check in very professional. Then I was brought to a room to change and then to the OR. woke up in recovery and was feed food and released in the morning. Parking was easy. Hospital was clean, looked up to date. Excellent experience there.

Very bad service, almost two hours waiting at reception, at the time they said to be here, and there is no one in the department. They like to make the patient a clown

In March 2023, stay in the room at Jaime da Forte hospital for 5 days. Note thousand. All very good. From the cleanliness, the nurses, tasty food, for both patients and companions, the nurses score 1000. Thankful for everything.

Hospital and team of muquiranas, they are truly starving. My wife was starving from 4 pm until 8 pm, due to mistakes made by the planting team. There is a very arrogant and arrogant nurse there.

Good hospital services

I’ve been in the er waiting room for 3 1/2 hrs now and haven’t been seen yet and when I got here there wasn’t any one else here. now it’s full of patients. I worked in an er for years so I understand the situation and process of seeing patients but just because I wasn’t bleeding and wasn’t screaming in pain I was put on the back burner.

My wife has been coming here for long time because she has a pacemaker/ defibrillator for over ten years. Couldn't tell there was anything wrong with other than that. September 7, she had an amulet placed in her heart because she couldn't take blood thinners. Week later she had lost 4 pints of blood. They had to repair the leak. While she was in surgery they did CPR on her. Not blaming anyone for that. On November 16 she was transferred to heart hospital because she built up with fluid. We were in there for 11 days and everyday I asked them what the game plan was. It was always still trying to get the fluid off. Nothing else was ever brought up to me about them trying to do anything different but giving her diuretics. NOTHING!! I'm not a doctor or nurse and I sure don't know every question to ask. They sure as hell didn't offer any information. Dr Lane was even going to send her home 9 days later. We told him no. Not until we knew what was going on. A day later her defibrillator shocked her because her heart rhythm went crazy. Never told us how bad her heart was. Two days later they still just said they had to get the fluid off. Did find out that my wife had stage 3 kidney failure. Also had to ask them to check her liver enzymes since they were doing blood work every day. Found out she had cirrhosis of liver but that's all the ultrasound showed. They never told me there were other options they could do to try and help her heart. I finally got my daughter-in-law up there that's a nurse practitioner. She got in and started going over everything asking questions about the other options that was never mentioned to me. She had more information in 15 minutes that they had given me in 11 days. That's just tells me that they don't care about all of their patients. Over at Baptist now and has gotten more done in 4 days than they did in 2 weeks. Got 30 pounds of fluid off in 4 days. Her heart is still real weak but getting a little stronger each day. These people actually seem like they care about their patients. Especially her cardiologist. She takes time to talk to us and explains what they can and can't do. I think GOD that my daughter-in-law came or my wife would have been dead. Don't need any excuses from anyone at heart hospital. Don't want to hear that you're sorry for what happened either. I already know how sorry you are.

My 1st appointment with Dr. Lo was on 06/28. I was given an EKG and after reading the results and consulting with me regarding my medical history, Dr. Lo listened to my heart and was able to get me approved for an Echocardiogram and lab work immediately 2 hours later. Getting 3 tests performed in 3 different departments in the same building on my 1st appointment was not only convenient but crucial. I received a call 24 hours later and was advised that I have a complete heart block and that Dr. Lo wanted me back immediately and scheduled me for surgery Monday 07/03. It's been 6 weeks since I received ER heart surgery and a pacemaker to save my life. Thank you Dr. Monica Lo and your team at the Arkansas heart hospital for going above and beyond for a new patient that was literally on borrowed time. Excellent care, medical equipment and building. They really serve you very quickly, you can request half shifts yourself without any problem. At the entrance table they welcome you quickly and explain everything to you What you need to know.

Regrettable attention. They made me come back 4 times to ask for a refund, they gave me a thousand buts. The girl in laboratory box 1, (a blonde) was disrespectful and did not help me solve the problem. I asked to speak to the supposed manager 'Diego' and he couldn't solve it for me either because 'some time had passed' and they forgot to request it from social work. Finally, they didn't give me my money back.

What a slow clinic! They make him come on time but he is late in his shifts, no one comes out to give a reason. The only redeemable thing is the girl at the reception, the rest is a terrible service, the air conditioning in the surgery waiting room does not work. If you can avoid using their services, almost 8 hours for a simple surgery. The worst thing is that EPS SURA has an agreement with them but it is horrible!! The waiting room is horrible. There are patients lying everywhere on the floor. The runners. There is no decent place for the elderly while they undergo examinations and remain under observation. There is one bathroom for many people. And they don't clean it. This is in the emergency room. It is a site where all rights are violated

I hae been there a few times, because my insurance has them as a provider. Once I managed to secure an appointment, all works; however setting up an appointment can be a formidable task, as they dont answer the phone and if they do they pass the buck to sumeone else, or worse they ask you to call a bunch of wrong numbers. The whatsup useless. Today I spent 4 hours trying to get an apointment without any luck. I will soon go in person with a spy camera and will publish my experience on all available social media. What a shame, good doctors and deplorable IT and customer service. Management is unreachable for some strange reason (NOT !!!)

Terrible admin care. There is no real patient ownership and each unit blames the other. There is deep lack of coordination among stakeholders. Patient has been to the hospital 3 times now to get surgery and something always fails because there is lack of coordination and communication between staff. There is need for a real overhaul. Very sad to see this historically best-in-class hospital treat patients this way.

First off this is the best hospital in Bogota according to the locals and my Colombian friends. I came here on a work trip and had an emergency operation to remove my appendix. I came in at 2am, got the diagnosis at 3:30am and they didn’t operate on me until 12pm. The delay was due to the incompetent hospital admin people dealing with my work insurance. I offered to pay out of pocket to get things rolling but they refused. They told me they don’t want double payment incase the insurance goes through. I definitely suggest bringing a Spanish speaker here if you don’t speed to local language because most of the staff don’t speak english. Before the surgery, I had to sign a bunch of disclaimers and waivers which were all in Spanish. My surgery was great. The surgeon spoke good english and was very professional. He reassured that I’m not going to die. As far as hygiene goes, the facility looks clean except there were a few times I caught my nurses taking my blood and iv out without wearing any gloves. Make sure you have money before coming to the hospital. They wont operate on you until payment is confirmed. Last but not least bring a blanket and pillow so you can sleep on the bench while you wait to be seen. Overall I’m grateful for the nurses and Drs that saved my life. My appendix was on the verge of bursting. I would like to give this place a 5 stars had it not been for the front desk admin people.

I had to get a covid antigen test prior to flying back to the US, and was reading reviews at labs all over Bogota, stating the antigen test took 5-7 days to come back. I was worried that would be the case here, so when we went in, I asked, and they said only 4 hrs at the most (it took about 2 hrs, yay!). The staff was so kind and helpful, even though we understood hardly any Spanish. They were very patient with us and we were able to get all the paperwork filled out without any problems. Also, the antigen test was only 120,000 COP, which was better than anywhere else I had found at the time.

Terrible!! The triage staff are rude and the doctor who treated us doesn't even answer the greeting. They lack empathy. If one day they want to get certified, they should start with the staff. You can see the hatred they have for their work, which they project into customer service. The only good people are those in the goal and the laboratory!

I have blood cancer, so I get test at other testing place and than go here for treatment. Lots of waiting, I have to go down street to pay for service. Than more waiting. Not bad place, but everyone seems to be confused. Other than that, it's fine

My 9-year-old daughter was hospitalized for 4 days and we did very well. Very good service, we felt comfortable and calm.

I visited Sta Casa on two occasions as a patient and as a visitor, they provide an excellent service with trained doctors and well-prepared staff, I was well attended to and well treated by both......

Hospital concerned with providing quality care for everyone! Excellent projects will still come to the city that will provide better health for everyone!

I am completely outraged and frustrated with the service provided by Hospital São Camilo at the Ipiranga Unit in recent months. I had the misfortune of needing to go to the hospital a few times in a short period of time, and every time I went I had a terrible experience. But I'm going to focus on the day before yesterday, which was the last straw, and my cup of patience overflowed. The day before yesterday (11/21) I went to the hospital at 11:05 pm, with a severe migraine, nausea and weakness. When I went through the triage, they didn't even check my temperature, my blood pressure was high (14/9) and as the nurse said “it must be nothing, it could be because of your pain”. So far I agree, it could be because of the pain or my pain could be because of the pressure. I received a GREEN bracelet! Taking into account that the hospital follows the Manchester protocol, because of my absurd pain (those who have migraines know what I'm talking about) and because of my high blood pressure, I shouldn't have to wait for care for 2 hours (which is what says the Manchester protocol for the color GREEN). But they gave me this bracelet, and several people passed in front of me, it took more than 2 hours to wait to speak to the doctor, that's why I showed my indignation at the delay, because if I had remained quiet I would have waited another 2 hours. And the reception says that other people passed in front of me because they were other doctors, or it was orthopedics, or a general surgeon or Covid. And they also reiterated “you already and next time, the doctor was collecting the returns” IN other words, more people passed in front of me who were being discharged from the hospital, and yet were already medicated. Therefore, I was forgotten at reception with the pain they call N°10! And everyone knows that the more irritated a person gets, the worse the pain and the worse the pressure. So seeing my despair, where I was almost fainting from the pain, the receptionist asked me to go to the triage to re-evaluate my condition. Arriving at the screening, the blessed one looks at my face and says “Well?” I explain that the reception asked to reevaluate me and he responds “How? The reception?" I said “yes, the reception, the girl who is there at the tables”, and he replied “Really the reception?” I said yes!" and I pointed to the person, then he looked like he wasn't happy and checked my blood pressure again, it was still 14/9! After that I had to wait another 30 minutes until I was called, the receptionist was already desperate too, calling the hospital and informing them that I was feeling ill. Everyone passed by me, and did NOTHING! I was called to the doctor's room at 1:11 am, they made me wait more than 2 hours for an appointment, which according to the Manchester protocol should have been attended to with an ORANGE bracelet, and within 10 minutes. I can and I feel entitled to say that it was a failure to provide help, as my clinical condition was delicate, and the screening data and my face did not deny this, quite the contrary, they affirmed it. In a hospital like São Camilo, where I have been treated since I was 7 years old, when it still had the pediatrics area, you have left a LOT to be desired. You are a PRIVATE hospital, in case you forgot, if you are “short of professionals” hire more professionals. FOLLOW the protocol that YOU yourselves say you follow. Why a person almost fainting from pain, WITH ALL SURE IN THE WORLD, is not a green bracelet. And if it's too much to follow a WORLDWIDE protocol, STOP using and deceiving the people who will be served. Don't give me speeches about “we were without doctors”, “the four doctors who were attending were from other areas”, “your high blood pressure must be nothing”, “can I give you medicine X?”, “they are taking care of cases more serious than yours”, “the doctors were just going through the returns” because I'm TIRED of your lame excuses. I prefer you to take the time you would spend responding to me and review your services and professionals, why I felt neglected and in a hospital that for me was an example.

Really good service for a tourist in need of a quick prescription. I was seen within 15 mins and got the medication I needed. Doctor spoke English which was helpful

They will not accept you if you don't have private insurance. They only accept payment from the insurance company, no credit or cash. If you are traveling here, go to a public hospital. The lady working there was extremely rude to me and was not willing to help me at all when I asked her where I can go to get medical help. I asked her for a hospital name and she essentially told me to F off. Luckily, I contacted a Spanish school for Spanish lessons and asked them where I can go. They gave me the name of a public hospital, and I was able to get my wound treated.

I found them exceedingly reassuring and reliable, efficient and engaged. It was a bit of a wait going through A&E, but they really sorted things out in a very professional way and it turned out it was only a head cold. So no blood clots or any of that sort of thing. Which I found a bit humbling for wasting their time. Still, no hard feelings which raises my esteem for the place.

It was founded by Cleto Aguirre from Salta. The origins of the current Hospital de Clínicas date back to 1877, when its construction began. A year later -and still unfinished- it was the scene of the conflict over the federalization of the city of Buenos Aires by functioning as a rifle barracks and a hospital for the concentration of wounded. Attention to the community began shortly after the conflict of 1880, at which time Buenos Aires ceased to be a large village and developed to become the capital city of Argentina, which was experiencing the first waves of immigration and urbanization. A significant number of patients came from the interior, referred by doctors graduated from the Faculty of Medicine who kept a special memory of the aptitudes of their teachers in medicine. The tenured professor was the cone of attraction of the chairs and of the activity of the Hospital rooms. He was an ethical example to be emulated by his students, who supported him, shared his studies, sometimes his table, and even established kinship through marriages based on that relationship of admiration. Important feats of medicine took place in the pavilions of the Hospital de Clínicas: the first application of insulin, the description of Ayerza's Disease, Tobías syndrome, Castex syndromes, the first cardiac catheterization, the first medical residencies, the first Ethics Committee, experimental surgery, the first kidney punctures and the first thoracotomies, among others. The first filmed operation in the history of medicine occurred in this hospital. It was in 1899 and was in charge of the Argentine doctor Alejandro Posadas. The film is seven minutes long and was found in 1971, when the old building was preparing for demolition. It was exhibited on December 14, 2001 to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the hospital. [1] Built according to the models of its time, the design was inspired by the Friedrichshain Hospital in Berlin and the lazaretto in Karlsruhe. Terrible attention from the guard secretaries. From the beginning they were very rude. After having a tomography I was waiting 3 hours for the result (from images they told me that the result was already there and they had sent it to the guard) from the guard the secretaries told me that the result was not there, when in reality it was. Some RUDE. I made the claim and they laughed in my face, a real shame. I hope they review their behavior.

The on-call care is deplorable, especially from the doctors who treat you, and in imagines mdq it is not good either, at least in terms of customer service. If you feel bad, do not come urgently to this clinic. Others are convenient.

I am very grateful to all the clinic staff for their loving and willing attention. I was hospitalized and had emergency surgery for appendicitis and everything was excellent, but above all the quality of human care. The counter staff, the nurses, the maids, security and not to mention the entire surgery and operating room team, very professional, warm and humane.
