Good attention by the staff, but it is very slow. They should make the way of serving donors more agile, something not so easy to achieve.

The truth is that I am very satisfied with the attention of the doctors and also with the social work staff, they are very good and conscientious
But the guards are the worst thing this beautiful hospital can have
They spend their time sleeping on night shifts and ignore you when you need guidance.
They treat you the worst and feel that they are from the SSC but the truth is that the hospital is not to blame for having a HORRIBLE security company
Aceves the guards are too smart. they give you a bad deal
That's why I give them 2 stars
Because those stars deserve it, the people who really take their work seriously and thank you very much for the attention that the General Hospital of Mexico gives us
There I leave the photos of the guards so that there is evidence and they do not think that it is a lie

BEWARE IF YOU ARE A TOURIST! My father was hospitalized on a family trip to Cancun. He was transported to this hospital and needed emergency surgery This hospital FAILED him. They wouldn’t even give him so much as saline or an antibiotic without payment in FULL. WE WERE CHARGED $4,000 FOR. He went 8 HOURS sitting on an emergency room bed when he should have been in surgery. THEY DEMANDED 50,000 DOLLARS PAID IN FULL BEFORE STARTING ANY CARE AND THAT WAS JUST FOR THE SURGERY. WE OFFERED TO PAY 25,000 SO THEY COULD START AND THEY REFUSED. WE OFFERED TO PAY THE REST THE NEXT DAY AND THEY REFUSED. WE TRANSFERRED MY FATHER TO THE OTHER HOSPITAL BECAUSE WE THOUGHT HE WAS GOING TO DIE. WE FELT USELESS WHILE THEY HAD ALL THE POWER TO DO SOMETHING THEY CHOSE TO DO NOTHING!!!!! THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND NOTHING MORE. ITS A MIRACLE MY FATHER SURVIVED AND ONLY BY THE HELP OF GOD WAS MY FATHER ABLE TO COME BACK HOME WITH US. It feels very comfortable being there. Olivia is the best. She arranges everything for you when you are from outside the country of Mexico. You show up and all is prepared. Her personality is very welcoming and friendly. I love not having to worry about the stress of paper work especially since i don't know Spanish well. All her subordinates speak English as well and are all very nice. Galenia might be costly however the peace of mind you get not being stresses out with paperwork helps a lot. I don't even need to Contact my insurance. They do everything for you. Best service. The receptionist at imaging are a bit slow and don't know any English. But the staff attending to you in the radiation area are super friendly and helpful. I see many people complain about the price. This is a private hospital and will be costly. It is the same in my own country. Private hospitals cost a lot but if you have insurance and you are not from Mexico, then I highly recommend using their tourism concierge. They are a great help and speak English. They are all very nice and helpful. I have had the pleasure of meeting and being assisted by Olivia (who is the best), Ellen, Ricardo and another guy i cant remember his name. Not sure if it is Daniel or something with a D. That was over 2 years ago i met him. They arranged everything with my insurance prior to going there. I just showed up and Olivia walked me through everything. I was in and out as quick as possible. No long waiting. Use the concierge service they have. It really helps you from stressing about paperwork and payments. My journey at Galenia started September 2021 and I continue into 2023......

I've been go Almater Hospital twice now to have surgeries with Dr. Luque. I can't begin to express my gratitude for what wonderful experiences I've had. On both occasions, the staff both with Dr. Luque's clinic team, the surgical team, and the hospital staff have gone above and beyond to take exceptional care of me. They are patient with my insecurities and anxiety about the processes, they deliver excellent care, and are kind and considerate throughout. I'm a Nurse Practitioner by trade in the US and have had many surgeries in the US in the past. I can genuinely say the care I received at Almater hospital and by these medical professionals far exceeds any treatment I've ever received in the US. This will be my choice hospital for care with all procedures I'm able to utilize them for and highly recommend them to others.

Very bad hospital to get treated. I went for a procedure on my low back (cyst) and they charged me over 9,000 pesos for just medicine, and wanted to charge me 50,000 for the procedure. Of course they only told me the price after I had asked how much it was going to be. Also they charged me 1000 pesos extra for using a different doctor that supposedly is filling in for another. They wanted to keep me over night for no reason, I would have just been laying in bed (I assume to make more money of me). Communication between the workers is bad. Not recommend at all. Prices are way overpriced and the service is bad. Save your time and money and go to a different hospital

This place's customer service sucks. I emailed them with questions regarding a minor surgery that I'm looking to get. I wanted to know what the price or approximate price would be for it, if they had availability in a certain part of the month, and if this surgery could be done at the same time.
They responded that I would need to set up a consultation in order to get the answers I was looking for. Guess how much a consultation is? USD$150 or $3300 Pesos. Seriously? I explained to them that it wouldn't make sense for me to spend that kind of money when I may find out they don't have availability for appointments when I need it. How hard is it for a hospital to tell their patients when they have appointments available?

They allow themselves to be charged as a 5-star hospital and it is not. The nursing service is the worst I have ever experienced in my life. You ring the bell and they never help you or if they help you it's because they're going for something else. I was hospitalized for 4 days and better I learned to manage the serum control boxes and if I needed something better I would stop to go to the infirmary's reception... Of course, they don't shake their hands to get paid.

I expected much more from this hospital, I don't have insurance so I had to pay the full bill. It was an account of 200k for a single night, the service is mediocre, from the moment you arrive the facilities are half emhhh, obviously they make you fill out all your paperwork and leave a deposit of 150k. The bed was horrible, the most uncomfortable I've ever been in and look at how I've had about 10 operations including the public health system and I dare say this was the worst, all the nurses had no idea of anything, they didn't know when to change the Medicines or anything, the cleaning of the room was bad, they left the dirty food tray until they arrived with the next meal. I liked the location since my parents were able to go to Paseo Acoxpa to have fun. And a recognition to the nurse Ana María, nurses like them are to be appreciated, with high vocation and dedication. The food was so-so. There are still many things to improve in the hospital, it looks very new or improvised. It is not one of my favorites and if I can avoid it I will.

The facilities are quite clean and pleasant, at least the room that was assigned to me was quite nice, clean and comfortable, unlike others that are a little simpler that I had the opportunity to see right here, I don't know if they still exist or have been remodeled, but I don't have any complaint.
The extremely friendly staff from the first moment, from administrative, security, nutrition and especially nursing, attentive at all times and for any little thing regardless of the time, after my surgery I asked for a blanket and in a minute I already had a thermal, I asked for my glasses and they brought them to my room in another building.
Quality staff checked into the room daily to ask if I was comfortable and receiving good care.
The only thing that was quite complicated was the entrance, since it took 3 hours due to lack of availability of rooms, despite the fact that it was already scheduled. Same thing with check in and out, it took too long.
Still, I was extremely satisfied with my stay.

I entered because of my daughter's major medical expenses and from then on they think that since you don't absorb all the expenses, they can give you mediocre care, to begin with they put you on one side of the building where everyone has major medical expenses, what's up? a floor for children where there are games and themes for children, the emergency area is very deficient, you practically have to wait outside and they are quite late, since urgently they do nothing, the administrative areas seem worse than the ISSTE or IMSS for real What a pity that charging what they charge they don't have much better service, you see them talking or really eating I was going to put a video of all this but I didn't want to harm the ladies, of course if you pay a lot more money the service is 100 and what there is an area that looks like the fourth apartments, it is understood that they deal with a lot of people but there must be more empathy.
