Treatment from the nurses and doctors were great. Very attentive and helpful. But the dark long-haired woman in the reception for the pediatric section was very ignorant. We live in the US so the stuff she insisted from us Made no sense since we don't live there. We purchased insurance in the states before our travel and made it seems as if our services was not covered. Overall our insurance was great and took care of it all including the prescribed medicine. They sent the hospital a letter of guarantee of payment and we paid not one dime.

This review pertains to the hyperbaric chamber unit in this clinic. Ricardo Palma Clinic is deemed a high-end medical center; however, based on my experience, its hyperbaric clinic unit does NOT provide the basic elements needed from a top-notch medical center. I had to leave without getting the services. Mayor observations:. 1. Bad facility (no privacy - 3 chambers, 3 patients, the nurse and a doctor sharing a 6x4 meters room where the patients undress and dress, plus a smelly bathroom in the tiny waiting area - 2 chairs) 2. Bad patient care (no instructions on how to come prepared to the session - like...pls only wear 100%-cotton clothes), does not provide adequate clothes when the patient comes unprepared, and no privacy to undress and dress. 3. Uncleanliness - No time between one patient to the next to properly clean the chambers. They sprayed peroxide inside the chamber in the confines of that small room and without any waiting time to remove the odor of the peroxide and the sweat / odor of the previous patient, they pretended to insert me into the chamber that smelled like feet sweat. I could take being in that little chamber but I could NOT take being in the tiny space smelling that foul-odor... I left without getting the service. It was a extremely disappointing and disgusting experience for a medical facility that claims to be a top-clinic in Lima Peru. Certainly La Clinica Ricardo Palma is NOT a high-end clinic.

This is supposed to be one of the top private health centers in Lima and yet doesn't feet the expectations.
First, the place is neat and follow all the covid protocols and the staff is kind. The doctor who attended me was very professional and kind.
However, punctuality wise is extremely bad: I scheduled an appointment the day before for a specific time (considering the "Peruvian time") because I had an important meeting after that (which I also told the person on the phone), nevertheless, I had to wait over an hour and a half for my appointment.
Extremely disappointed, hope the management team works on that in order to be an even better place.

I see quite a bit of negative reviews which made me nervous going here, and I know it’s all subjective but I had a good experience. Although I do have international insurance so I’m sure that played a part. They got me in fast and the doctor was very friendly & helpful. She was gentle with my hurt shoulder and even offered pain meds in hospital although I declined. it may be a bit expensive in Peruvian standards but if you are coming from North America it is still a small fraction of what you would pay back home( just the X-rays alone in the US would have been significantly more than my total bill here) All in all not a bad experience at all just make sure you have cash or insurance because you pay at the time of visit not like in North America where you can do a payment plan

Simply THE WORST!!! I do not recommend this place at all, don’t even bother to call them because Janet (the secretary or receptionist) will transfer you or hang up. Don’t try to explain them why are you feeling sick because she will yawn and laugh at you. Bad bad experience!!!

As Russian that speaks English but not Spanish I thought this hospital would be the easiest to reach out to; I was mistaken. If you speak English, this is not the hospital for you. They are very angry and rude unless you speak Spanish. Within seconds of calling they went on tirade as if they’re surprised people would think the British American hospital would know English. The name of the hospital should be “We hate English speakers hospital”

I just needed a very simple medication before taking a flight back home - had to wait forever to talk to a doctor, who then proceeded to conduct various useless tests and in the end charged four times the European price for the medication. Avoid.

Horrible experience. I had an appointment with Dr. Cano (otorringologa) 7:45 pm. I even showed up early at 7:30 pm as instructed. Last appointment of the day. But surprise the doctor escapes out the back door and leaves me sitting there. A total lack of formality and lack of respect for their patients. What a joke!

The delay in attention is terrible. For the pure they give you an appointment. The worst designed parking lot. All the walls scratched from the poor cars and trucks that barely pass. Mine was no exception and now I have to take it to be fixed. It ends up being a terrible experience and a physical, mental and emotional exhaustion to go to this clinic. On top of that they charge very expensive and it is the first thing that matters to them.

Admission 4th floor on Saturdays; it is torture; no one moves ; patients waiting their turn; they don't call; batteries are only put when we claim.
Cardiac procedure... no one notified that he had arrived 30 minutes ago to prepare it.

The slowest emergency care I've had in any clinic. And the doctors all listless and with a bad face. If you do not claim that they attend to you or call you. They don't even deign to explain the care recommendations to you. They give you a piece of paper and that's it. I had to ask them to come over and explain to me what they wrote on the paper. Appalling.

Smiles Peru always offers amazing service and quality of care. I have been traveling from New York to receive care here for 5 years. Smiles Peru has always given be fantastic results and I have recommended them to my family and closest friends. They have all had similar experiences and rave about the staff’s expertise and efficiency. The clinic itself is also very modern, clean and in a safe tourist-friendly area.

The Doctors and all Staff at Smiles Peru were amazing!!! I had to have very extensive dental work done in a very short period of time, and literally was in the Dentist chair from 9 am to to close in order to get everything perfect before I had to travel. From Lab work, crowns , root canals , oral surgery, and much more , they were so professional and had a plan of action everyday which they succeeded at every given turn. Every single person I came into contact with from the door men, taxi driver that they sent to pick me up, to everyone else I came into contact with throughput the week , I can not express how grateful I was for their patience with getting everything exactly perfect!!! They were so kind and gentle and very concerned with how I was doing and all wanted to make my goal happen, which was accomplished on this trip! They also have very nice apartments that you can rent, right next door to their office so when youhave breaks to go eat , it’s right next door. Thanks again for everything!!! See you in 6 months!!!! Without a doubt, the BEST hospital in NYC! Even the food was good. I was there for three days, and everyone was very nice, accommodating, polite, efficient, caring and professional. Even after I was released, the doctors called me at home to check on me, or called me straight back if I left a message. Really first rate treatment!

The ER room is a real joke. They have no system. They make you wait 5-6 hours before they even treat you. No one is taking charge. A true example of horrible medical attention. You’ll wait 8 hours to get a room if you need one. They discuss your medical condition in a waiting room next to everyone. It’s embarrassing. Never again to this place. Never. They should be shut for.

Horrible hospital, some of the older less funded hospitals really get a bad wrap compared to this place. It's supposed to be one of the best in the city but that's if you're in a particular tax bracket. The staff is just pure trash, unfeeling, uncaring...the list could go on. During the pandemic they were swept under an avalanche and rose to the occasion. This I will admit, but post pandemic we the patients are left to fend with burned out, inconsiderate service that needs an overhaul. I get it we're all suffering on both ends, but must patients suffer mistreatment and an absence of care coupled with life threatening illnesses when it isn't necessary?

Lorraine is the absolute best nurse who by the end of 2 weeks felt like family who truly cared for me and wanted me to get answers as much as I did. She is truly special. Susan, Nicole, and jasmine we're also amazing nurses always smiling I wish I could remember every single one but almost everyone I had was amazing, always smiling and was always asking how they could assist me. Every single member of the PT/OT team were like a family and is what happy co-workers look like always laughing and joking with one another. They push us to do what they knew we could do and let us rest when they see we're tired and they celebrate and are just as happy as us when we met our goals. Jennifer is hands down the best case manager you will ever get she will fight for you. Mrs. Lisa is the absolute best nurse practitioner, better then some doctors I have seen on my journey, she has the best bedside manner and actually cares, she will dig and research and give you her best. Dr. Ward is just the coolest doc around and never judged me for wanting to go slow on introducing new medications and hugged me and treated me like a family member every time he saw me. I 110% recommend PAM of covington. Not only was the medical staff amazing but when they found out I was basically allergic to everything they let me smell different cleaning supplies to see what would work for me, never making me feel like a burden, they made me a special bottle of just isopropyl alcohol AND placed a professional air scrubber In my room so I had the cleanest air possible. They went above and beyond for me and I will choose PAM OF COVINGTON every single time.

My husband came to PAM 3 weeks ago after multiple recommendations by people within the hospital industry. We are leaving soon, and wanted to leave a review of all the wonderful staff at the facility.
The therapy teams have been an absolute dream! John with physical therapy is patient, kind and funny. He pushes us to constantly strive for better, and is a huge asset to PAM. Kristen with occupational therapy is also the sweetest woman I've ever met. She is helpful, encouraging and a great listener. Irene with Speech therapy is so incredibly kind and also brilliant. She describes every step of the therapy and why it benefits you. It made us feel so much more at ease in an area of medical care that we had not ever participated in. Kelsey, Noe, Travis and Anika with Respiratory Therapy were wonderful to work with. They moved my husband quickly through all the stages of respiratory therapy, while making sure he was safe, but also pushing him to the next step.
The nursing staff was exceptional during the day, we adored Bonnie, Jordan, Lydia and Matt, and Monica and Natalie were great night nurses. As far as CNA's, Madison, Abby and David were all fantastic! These staff treated us like family, loved on my husband, and gave exceptional service. They constantly asked if we needed anything, were thoughtful with the meds being given, and carefully curated his healthcare to fit the need at the moment. We could not have asked for a better experience!
The administration dealt with any issues that arose quickly and efficiently. We did struggle slightly with some night staff that struggled to find the patience to understand his communication methods, but we brought this to the attention of administration, and they dealt with it immediately. He was given control of his healthcare, and this eased anxiety in so many ways. We are so incredibly blessed that we came to PAM and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an LTAC in the future.

I stayed here for 3 weeks and it was Amazing! Very clean and well kept facility, the Staff is warm and welcoming, You can tell that the Nurses really care and that it's more than just a job to them. The Aides are just as caring and dedicated. And P/T & O/T were very committed to my recovery! Love and going to miss them all!!

Post Acute Medical took excellent care of my mom. From the staff that greeted you, to the nurses, doctors, food service workers, nursing assistants and the front office staff, they were always willing to help and assist in any way. The facility is so clean. The case workers stayed in communication with me on a daily basis, and were so kind and patient with all the questions I had. Thank you all for taking care of my mom and helping her get the care she needed. It’s about the human connection and spirit that helps people heal. PAM’s staff had that plus more! Thanks again!

My husbands best friend has been in the Pam Unit for 2 months. Not once was the room cleaned. Floors were so dirty. They would leave their trash laying in the room and on his bed. There was one RN nurse who was meanest uncaring person I have ever seen! They have now moved him to a nursing facility over 4 1/2 hours away that has awful reviews. It is so sad how people treat sick patients 👎🏻 they don’t even deserve a 1 star

This place is a complete joke. I should of knew the first 10 minutes we were there that it was going to be a nightmare. We got my dad there at 10 pm and when we got to the room it didn’t even have a bed in it. The speech therapy/nutrition employees were one of the rudest people ever. They are unprofessional and not very caring. One day one speech therapist said he could use a straw and have ice and water and the next day another person said he couldn't. The lack of care and compassion by most of the staff is unacceptable and unnecessary. Dr. Motaz B Hossein is very unprofessional and not friendly at all. He is not very compassionate. He doesn’t listen to the patient or the family. He is very stuck up. I hope that Kettering network never recommends this place to anyone in the future. I was actually worried for my father’s well being. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Horrible experience for my father in law. It was dirty and people were zero help with his rehab. I would give this place zero stars if possible. I would never send anyone there. It was suppose to be a step down from hospital care but there was hardly any care at all. He was there for 2 weeks and he made zero improvements. This place should not even be an option to send people too.

My daughter was in this place. It was horrible! They treated her so bad. They were mean people. They would tease & mock her. They rarely spent time with her. She had to beg to have someone help her. I witnessed 2 nurses standing in the door way laughing
