Phenomenal hospital. I was blown away at how clean it was and how nice and caring everyone and the nurses are. My 16 year old sister is here to have heart surgery and couldn’t name one complaint I had through the entire experience. Love love love this hospital.

Great hospital with caring staff. I was blessed to have Dr. Laura Goldstein. I have no words to describe her care , knowledge & kindness. She is a gem. She pleasantly answered my hundreds of questions regarding my son’s sickness. She is very polite& caring. I wish everyone gets doctor like her. I wish her all the good luck & happiness in life.

My daughter has had a plethora disturbing and debilitating symptoms for over a year. Even though she had just turned 17, I assumed CHOP was the best place for her care because they specialize in treating conditions other facilities consider a patient too young to have, and I worried something would be ruled out just based on her young age. While most of my daughters doctors have been great, everyone else who doesn't directly come in contact with her (appointment schedulers, for example) have not been. They may not be doctors, but they play a critical role in the life saving treatment, or lack there of, of CHILDREN.
It's bad enough that we have to wait as long as we do for appointments, but I was told my daughter's appointment in less than a weeks time must be cancelled and rescheduled for a few weeks later (despite symptoms becoming unbearable) just because the doctor I'd scheduled it with wasn't her "regular" cardiologist. We WANT to see a different cardiologist, specifically the one we'd scheduled for, or honestly ANY other cardiologist who is not her original cardiologist! It's infuriating, honestly. This is my child's LIFE. To top it off, I'd already taken the original day off of work and now I can't get it back so I lose money, I have to miss yet more time for the next appointment and our insurance deductible resets before the next appointments will take place...I'm still trying to pay her medical bills from last year's deductible!
I might not be as upset about everything other than her needing to be seen quickly when it's impossible, if the whole scenario isn't an exact repeat of what happened just two days ago with a different CHOP specialist. Again, this isn't the doctors, most of them have been amazing.
I truly believe the doctors fully understand how vital their care is to the very lives of their patients. It's others who don't provide medical care yet work at CHOP who are apparently just there for a paycheck. For some, it's just a business they work for.
I'm just so incredibly fed up with the business side of CHOP. I'm sure most of the doctors prioritize the health of their patients above everything else...it'd be great if everyone else who isn't directly related to a patients care did the same.

Lorraine is the absolute best nurse who by the end of 2 weeks felt like family who truly cared for me and wanted me to get answers as much as I did. She is truly special. Susan, Nicole, and jasmine we're also amazing nurses always smiling I wish I could remember every single one but almost everyone I had was amazing, always smiling and was always asking how they could assist me. Every single member of the PT/OT team were like a family and is what happy co-workers look like always laughing and joking with one another. They push us to do what they knew we could do and let us rest when they see we're tired and they celebrate and are just as happy as us when we met our goals. Jennifer is hands down the best case manager you will ever get she will fight for you. Mrs. Lisa is the absolute best nurse practitioner, better then some doctors I have seen on my journey, she has the best bedside manner and actually cares, she will dig and research and give you her best. Dr. Ward is just the coolest doc around and never judged me for wanting to go slow on introducing new medications and hugged me and treated me like a family member every time he saw me. I 110% recommend PAM of covington. Not only was the medical staff amazing but when they found out I was basically allergic to everything they let me smell different cleaning supplies to see what would work for me, never making me feel like a burden, they made me a special bottle of just isopropyl alcohol AND placed a professional air scrubber In my room so I had the cleanest air possible. They went above and beyond for me and I will choose PAM OF COVINGTON every single time.

So far so good, the entire staff has been extremely friendly and attentive. They are easy to talk to and care about the patients that are here. At times they can be very busy and possibly bc of short staff but they take time w each patient and do not make them feel like a burden. The therapists are all extremely friendly and knowledgeable and make therapy fun. All of the nurses are so kind and treat them like their own family. We have only been here a few days but so far so good

My husband came to PAM 3 weeks ago after multiple recommendations by people within the hospital industry. We are leaving soon, and wanted to leave a review of all the wonderful staff at the facility.
The therapy teams have been an absolute dream! John with physical therapy is patient, kind and funny. He pushes us to constantly strive for better, and is a huge asset to PAM. Kristen with occupational therapy is also the sweetest woman I've ever met. She is helpful, encouraging and a great listener. Irene with Speech therapy is so incredibly kind and also brilliant. She describes every step of the therapy and why it benefits you. It made us feel so much more at ease in an area of medical care that we had not ever participated in. Kelsey, Noe, Travis and Anika with Respiratory Therapy were wonderful to work with. They moved my husband quickly through all the stages of respiratory therapy, while making sure he was safe, but also pushing him to the next step.
The nursing staff was exceptional during the day, we adored Bonnie, Jordan, Lydia and Matt, and Monica and Natalie were great night nurses. As far as CNA's, Madison, Abby and David were all fantastic! These staff treated us like family, loved on my husband, and gave exceptional service. They constantly asked if we needed anything, were thoughtful with the meds being given, and carefully curated his healthcare to fit the need at the moment. We could not have asked for a better experience!
The administration dealt with any issues that arose quickly and efficiently. We did struggle slightly with some night staff that struggled to find the patience to understand his communication methods, but we brought this to the attention of administration, and they dealt with it immediately. He was given control of his healthcare, and this eased anxiety in so many ways. We are so incredibly blessed that we came to PAM and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an LTAC in the future.

Post Acute Medical took excellent care of my mom. From the staff that greeted you, to the nurses, doctors, food service workers, nursing assistants and the front office staff, they were always willing to help and assist in any way. The facility is so clean. The case workers stayed in communication with me on a daily basis, and were so kind and patient with all the questions I had. Thank you all for taking care of my mom and helping her get the care she needed. It’s about the human connection and spirit that helps people heal. PAM’s staff had that plus more! Thanks again!

My husbands best friend has been in the Pam Unit for 2 months. Not once was the room cleaned. Floors were so dirty. They would leave their trash laying in the room and on his bed. There was one RN nurse who was meanest uncaring person I have ever seen! They have now moved him to a nursing facility over 4 1/2 hours away that has awful reviews. It is so sad how people treat sick patients 👎🏻 they don’t even deserve a 1 star

This place is a complete joke. I should of knew the first 10 minutes we were there that it was going to be a nightmare. We got my dad there at 10 pm and when we got to the room it didn’t even have a bed in it. The speech therapy/nutrition employees were one of the rudest people ever. They are unprofessional and not very caring. One day one speech therapist said he could use a straw and have ice and water and the next day another person said he couldn't. The lack of care and compassion by most of the staff is unacceptable and unnecessary. Dr. Motaz B Hossein is very unprofessional and not friendly at all. He is not very compassionate. He doesn’t listen to the patient or the family. He is very stuck up. I hope that Kettering network never recommends this place to anyone in the future. I was actually worried for my father’s well being. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Unfortunately the HORROR was the case workers who should help you with transitioning from the rehab to next place, my mother was sent to a city 3 hours away from us and then we had to figure out a way to get her home. The facility she was sent to was from the case workers reference as trained oxygen facility and that is why she was sent there. A complete nightmare, my mom has regressed instead of progressed, fell out of bed, the facility is understaffed, no one even under stands how to use a vent. Her doctor from the rehab even confirmed he didn't authorize her move. The rehab essentially just kicked my mom out without any conscious of where she went. So disappointed in the PAM facility on how they treated us.

This place is a hoke, reading through the reviews over 50% of the positive reviews were done by the employees. Must of given them a bonus to write a good review. I agree with a former review, the nursing staff is great with the amount of people assigned to them. The in charge lady has no empathy, she should be a drill sergeant not running a hospital. Making the numbers work for the big Corp behind them pulling the strings. Don't specialize in human care anymore, it's all about how good your insurance is.
