Long-Term Acute Care Hospital in Las Vegas At PAM Health, we understand the vital role supervised rehabilitation can play in a patient's recovery from severe illness or injury. PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Las Vegas is a long-term acute care facility located in Northwest Las Vegas, Nevada. We specialize in treating medically complex patients who require extended hospitalization before they can return home. We also offer outpatient services for individuals who want to continue working toward their goals at our modern facility after finishing inpatient rehabilitation. No matter why you come to our long-term care hospital in Las Vegas, our compassionate team members will do everything they can to help you achieve your highest possible functional status. At PAM Health, we believe providing early and aggressive intervention in a critical care setting gives our patients the best chance at recovery from acute injury or illness. Compared to lower levels of care, rehabilitation at an acute care facility has been shown to result in better long-term patient outcomes, fewer readmissions to the hospital and shorter recovery times overall. Our caring and highly skilled staff members embrace each of our patients as individuals with personal histories and unique health situations, so you will receive the personalized treatment plan and comprehensive support necessary to achieve optimal recovery. PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Las Vegas has been awarded Quality Respiratory Care Recognition (QRCR) by the American Association of Respiratory Care (AARC). This places our facility in an elite set of only 15% of hospitals in the United States that have received this honor.

If your family member is very sick and has a chance, don't go here. My loved one was sick and they made him sicker. They refused to do physical therapy with him even though I begged them. He got so weak because of it he had to be put on a ventilator. Dr. Francis Tan had to be begged to manage my loved ones care. My loved ones life didn't matter to him. He wrote him off before giving him a chance. If you want your loved one to get better, leave the state. Definitely don't trust this place with life. The nursing staff is good they cannot make the decisions though.

I understand people have different experiences and want people to know that 1. I am NOT being paid by Pam to write this review and that this is a honest review. My father has been staying at Pam for almost a month a man who has cancer, wounds etc. my father had been through a lot and has been to 5 different facilities all through Vegas and I can tell you this facility is beyond amazing and it quite Fathoms me that this place doesnโ€™t have a 5 star overall rating. People please know that I mean when I say my dad has been to many places and NONE of them come close to Pam. The whole staff in every department are amazing. With a lot of these facilities yes there is always a bad apple but that one person doesnโ€™t define everyone elseโ€™s actions and yet to see anyone here who is bad. The doctors, nurses , when treating to my father anytime my mother and I had any question or concerns they would listen to what we had to say and would always answer us with respect and dignityโ€ฆ..youโ€™d be surprised how many doctors get annoyed and bothered by having family members asking question regarding their loved ones. If I could give this place a rating higher than a 5 I would but I canโ€™t. If any future families members have any questions regarding this place please you can contact me on my instagram itโ€™s the same name I have on here. Pam health facility is Amazon I give the staff and facilities a 5star and although the food isnโ€™t the most important thing about this place but for those families who want to visit there loved one the food here is pretty good and cheap. I canโ€™t say enough how truly grateful I am to everyone who has treated my father and my family with nothing but respect and love it honestly gives me more hope in humanity because of the people who work here. CNA, RN, wound care, doctors everyone is Phenomenal. My dad is now discharged from Pam and this is the one place I can say I will miss the staff donโ€™t plan to have my dad come back only because I rather see him home and healthy and I know that ultimately thatโ€™s what everyone wants is for there loved ones to be home and healthy but I would highly recommend this place.

This place is an absolute nightmare. One person stood out above the rest and that was Ronnie the CNA. Holly the chief of nursing is a joke and only gives false sense of security but she doesnโ€™t follow through. Most of the nurses are nice, some of the CNAs are helpful. There is absolutely no communication with staff. When you bring up concerns they are brushed under the rug. If you ask a question no one has the answer and they point blame to the next. They bring people in here to die here. Illegal things happen in your loved ones rooms, and the so called chief of nursing is aware. If your loved one is a respiratory patient and on oxygen or a ventilator I suggest you move them to another hospital and fast. I highly suggest if you have family in this hospital you need to be there at all times and keep a close eye on everything they do. They donโ€™t actually care about the patients or the families, they care about the money. Even the staff have made comments that itโ€™s all about the money to this place. Absolute disgrace to the medical community and the sick patients who need actual care and kindness. Ronnie keep doing what you are doing, you are an absolute angel and do not let these people change you. We need more people like you in the world!
