The hospital itself seems to be good, they have all the machines in place.
When I was hospitalized the communication wasn’t good (and I don’t mean the language). Treatment plan was changing couple of times per day and I wasn’t updated. I also wasn’t informed what kind of medical tests I would get. The stuff wasn’t informed too. E.g. I got a breakfast served before the test that required me to be on an empty stomach. And it happened several times.
Prices are twice or triple higher than in other hospitals.
I came via emergency and directly was hospitalized. Despite after one day it was clear that my condition doesn’t require me to be in the hospital 24 hours, I was still not allowed to leave it and supposed to just wait for 2 days for test results in the hospital. I assume it wasn’t made to keep me safe but rather to capture more money from my insurance. I left voluntarily until test results are available.
Also, when I came back for treatment I was charged €3000 deposit that I was promised to be back after the insurance confirms they would pay the bill. Even though insurance confirmed, I haven’t received the deposit until the bill is fully paid. (I am still waiting. 3 months passed)

I had been going to Quiron since the beginning of my pregnancy and I always had the best care and support from all the gynes and OBs.
Once i went into labour, all the Midwives and actually all staff on the maternity floor were extremely supportive too. The labour room and maternity ward are amazing.
I unfortunately had a complicated birth but I am extremely greatful me and my baby were in the caring and professional hands of Dra.Blanco 🙏 and the rest of the team in Quiron. My husband was allowed in the operating room with me during my emergency C Section which isn't usual for Spanish hospitals.
Overall I am so happy we decided to have our first born baby at this hospital and would recommend them to anyone and everyone. Thank you Quiron team 💙

They cancel appointments you have done months earlier, book multiple patients at the same time, which results in that even if you think you are the first one and have no waiting time, of course you are not the first one and have unknown waiting time. And to add to tje charm they charge you in advance, so even if you have/want to leave you cant without losing your money. My advice, and what i will do going forward is STEER AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

My worst experience in a hospital for far.
My room is beside a place that are remodeling, 12 hours of the sound of a hammer constantly.
Due my operation I can not eat solids, so the only thing they are offering me is pocket soup, no veggies no fruits, nothing.
And forget about to find the manager, she is never in the office, and she will never pick up the phone.
The personal in my station are good the most of them, the problem in hospital is systematic.

They are under staffed and under funded and
care more about making money then care of patients.
Cancelled appointments without letting patients know due to broken equipment and staff shortages.
You would get batter care in a third world country hospital.

The worst experience with the treatment for an international patient. The hospital arranged for us viewing for a cardiology patient. We travelled from a far away to be there (having paid a huge lump some that was supposed to be used for the tests etc). Instead - the person who took blood tests did not even wear PPE, the doctor who saw us had not even read our history (having sent if a month before), did not do any meaningful tests that would bring us to the diagnosis, still waiting for the anamnesis (and prescriptions) to be sent to us after over two weeks.

Thank you so much to the orthopedics team and everyone at station M120. They gave me a new ACL after I tore it, the operation went perfectly, and the care I received after was outstanding. I prepared for the worst, but the friendliness and professionality of the staff made everything so, so much better.

I’ve made an appointment with Dr. Mohammad Badr, a gastroenterologist. While scheduling, I confirmed multiple times with the person handling appointments that the doctor would be available on time, ensuring there wouldn’t be any last-minute issues since I’m traveling from Bahrain. She advised me to arrive 10 minutes earlier.
However, upon my arrival at the hospital 20 minutes early, I discovered that the doctor had already left, demonstrating a lack of punctuality and leaving before his scheduled hours.
The customer staff was very rude and unhelpful. When I questioned them about the doctor leaving before my appointment, they claimed ignorance and mentioned that his duties were finished. Despite having my appointment time visible in the system, they couldn’t assist me and attributed the mistake to the call center staff.
Frustratingly, they refused to call the doctor or take any action to rectify the situation. Their unprofessionalism extended from the doctor to the call center and customer service staff. I strongly advise against visiting Dosary Hospital or consulting Dr. Mohammad Badr, as my experience was highly unsatisfactory.

Need to express my concerns about the lengthy and frustrating insurance approval process we encountered at Dossary Hospital.
We only visited due to Dr Javed because the doctor is good.
We observed that only one staff member is available at the tiny insurance counter, with the main counter closed. This lone staff member is handling a long queue in the middle of the walkway, contributing to the overall inconvenience and adding to the challenges faced during the insurance approval process.
Unlike our experiences in other hospitals, the insurance approval process at Dossary Hospital has been exceedingly time-consuming. The rejections, coupled with the necessity to repeatedly seek additional information from the doctor and endure prolonged waiting times, have been incredibly inconvenient. This repetitive cycle occurred three times, leading us to the decision to pay cash for the test, which was priced at a reasonable 230 riyals.
It is disheartening to note that our Class A insurance, which is promptly approved at other medical facilities, consistently faces challenges at Dossary Hospital. Despite our attempts to address these issues with the hospital staff, we feel our concerns have not been adequately addressed. The constant blame on our insurance company and the lack of resolution only added to the distress of navigating this process as sick patients.
As patients, we find it unacceptable to endure such a cumbersome and disorganized procedure, having to navigate multiple floors to resolve the matter. We urge you to review and improve your insurance approval process to ensure a smoother experience for patients who rely on your services.
We DO NOT RECOMMEND DOSSARY ANYMORE.

It has been a month since my ginecological ecography, and the hospital still hasn´t delivered results. But the invoice yes, oh this they delivered! I had to go there physically, make a special request (sic!) and after a week still nothing. So I paid for the exam that now i cannot even access to see the results and bring them to another doctor. As far as i know, refusing the access to patient´s own health information is a crime in this country.

Here is an outrageous thing that happened to us at this hospital:
My wife and I went to the hospital as she needed to be seen relatively quickly by a doctor. We asked how much it would cost and they gave us a price. We accepted, went to the waiting area, saw the doctor and went back to the counter to pay. At this point, they tell us a completely different amount (twice what they had previously quoted) and just say they made a mistake. We explained that we understood but that we wouldn't pay this new price as we based our decision on the previously quoted price... Especially since we waited 2 hours in the waiting room and they would have had the time to come and tell us it was a mistake at which point we could have decided to stay or leave. But they just did it after the fact and expected us to deal with it - I think that this is very very poor business manners. You can't quote somebody one price and then completely change after the fact and expect them to pay. Now we have just received a letter from the National Judicial system asking us for an outrageous amount of money because of this incident which was their fault in the first place. One of the worst example of how NOT to run a business.

I have to mention specifically the nurse David de Sousa, who goes beyond his duties to make new parents feel secure. He is so helpful and always kind and highly professional.
Also the nurse Angela Mendonca who is so passionate to help and make a great environment for the moms to be.
Of course Dr. Paula Pinto, who was so professional but also kind and supporting during the whole process. Overall wonderful experience. Would highly recommend it.

There are much better private hospitals n Funchal that keep to their appointments. I recommend you go elsewhere. Da Luz is often a good option.

I went there to give birth and it was a wonderful experience! From beginning to the end I felt heard, comfortable and taken care of by a very professional and kind staff.

Booked an appointment for 10:30am, by 11:45 I had still not been brought in to see the doctor. Since I took time from work for this appointment, I had to leave without seeing the doctor. There are much better private hospitals n Funchal that keep to their appointments. I recommend you go elsewhere. Da Luz is often a good option.

Thankful for the dedication of all the doctors & nurses here. My newborn daughter was seen by ear, nose and throat specialists & speech therapists for a feeding assessment. Both encounters were great, staff were friendly and welcoming. They were able to provide answers & recommendations to us. The only negative was the shuttle service, it’s a great idea. But it was either too full or not on time, and waiting with a newborn on a cold wet day is not ideal.

(Also the meals are delicious!! Huge thanks to the kitchen staff too!)

Although we are in zone for Middlemore Hospital, we have travelled to the birthing unit here twice. The birthing rooms are clean and tidy. The staff are very helpful. You have your own dedicated nurse while you are in labour. The nurse does an amazing job taking care of the birthing mother throughout the entire process. There are family rooms, and tea facilities for spouses and extended family.
We also went to the Tamaki ward for after birth Care for two nights. They have sleeping arrangements available in the room for your spouse. Staff in this ward were fantastic and helpful. Again there is a family room and communal kitchen. Overall the hospital is pretty up-to-date and tidy.
My only concern is parking. The car park tends to get full quite early and the parking fees are astronomical. If you are a genuine patient, you should be offered some sort of parking subsidy.

Awful hospital and ER! I came in at about 3 AM as a foreigner (EU citizen) in need of some antibiotics as I had forgotten to bring them with me on vacation in Madrid.
Despite not even being close to being overfilled, the average wait time for this ER was about 4 hours, or even more. I sat there alongside a woman whimpering and crying out in pain, an old lady struggling to breathe, etc. - Sick people having to resort to sleep on uncomfortable old chairs and not in the slightest paid any attention to! Kind of dehumanizing, to be perfectly honest. Thank God I did not have something actually more serious.
After about an hour, the nurse came to the waiting area to check on me. Two hours have gone by and I was getting impatient. Nurses told me they had alerted the doctor. Another hour goes by, still no doctor in sight. At that point, we were all sitting there waiting for the paint on the wall to dry. Finally, at about 6:30 AM (!!!) a doctor came to fill my prescription. Yet it was not until about 7 AM that I could finally go home. The others still had to wait…
Never go to the ER of this hospital unless you like to be ignored. Or if you like to look at the sunrise even though you went to the hospital in the middle of the night for antibiotics.
Such a shame…

Hospital was clean and staff spoke English well, so it was easy for us to communicate. However, we went in for a simple wound dressing and they did not handle it well. One of the nurses handled my wife’s bandage with her bare hands. Also, they only had low quality gauze type bandages; we earlier got a higher quality elastic bandage, and composite wound dressing at another hospital.

I mostly visit this hospital, and I must say that it is generally clean, neat, and tidy. The staff members were friendly and supportive throughout my visit. I would recommend it for your medical needs.
However, I was disappointed to find that the washrooms, while clean, had several amenities that were not working. Some of the toilets' flushing units were broken and out of order. Additionally, most of the bidet showers in the toilets were out of order, forcing us to use the main valve, which often resulted in a mess and wet clothes. This was a very unpleasant experience. I hope they address these maintenance issues soon.

Had a premature C-section at the centre and my baby was in the NICU for a month, the doctors and nurses were professional, attentive and caring. The facility is actually quite good and new. But the physicians are kinda mixed. Some people are responsible, hard working and still have a sense of humor, but some are really exhausting to talk to. If you've ever dealt with government officials you'd get what I mean, but they try their best to work as little as possible and avoid all responsibility so chances are you won't be able to get a straight answer from them..
Its location is also in the middle of residential area so if you're a traveler or are NOT affluent enough to afford an exorbitant house in this Setagaya neighborhood.. I guess you'll have no business here.

This is going to be a pretty negative review due to miserable administration and communication, but the staff's technical skills are beyond other hospitals. Thanks to them, they were able to deliver my two beautiful twin daughters in a situation that could have potentially had many complications.
Now the negative.
- The documentation about visitation is from pre-Covid, so despite signing documents allowing a single visitor, don't expect to see your newborns until they're released from the hospital a week after they're born. And don't expect to be informed about this until days before the birth.
- Don't expect to be informed in a timely manner if your wife suddenly has to go into emergency surgery, after being told by the doctor that she should be contacting you in an hour. Plan for a very stressful 6 hours of no information if your wife and newborns are ok or not.
- Don't expect the appropriate doctors to be available on the day the hospital planned to decide whether your new family can come home or not. Expect your doctors to be on holiday that day, pushing the decision of if and when you can finally meet your new family back by at least a day.
- Don't expect the administration to answer your questions completely about payment and insurance. Despite being told that there is no payment needed once proof of insurance is revived, expect that not to include 50,000円 worth of food that you will have to pay on your visit. And don't expect to be able to handle any paperwork via mail; only in person.
We didn't have a lot of options for hospitals in Tokyo that could give birth to identical twins. If you're in a similar situation, I can't say if choosing Keio would have been better. If you are not expecting a complicated birth, I would highly suggest you avoid this hospital.

The hospital was well-equipped with state-of-the-art technology, and I was impressed by the cleanliness and organization of the facilities. I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone in need of medical care. They truly prioritize patient well-being and provide exceptional service. Keep up the great work!

I've been to Dar al Shifa Hospital several times, and it's undoubtedly a large and modern facility. The staff, especially those at the information desks and security, were exceptionally helpful, making my visits more comfortable. I received excellent care from the skilled doctors and nurses when I sought support in the ENT and General Surgery departments. However, there are a few issues to note. The hospital's parking lot is consistently full, which can be frustrating. Fortunately, there's an option to park behind the building. One downside is the appointment system; it can be confusing and inconvenient to have to wait in line with people who don't have appointments, even after scheduling one. Additionally, the pharmacy on the ground floor is frequently busy, resulting in longer waiting times. Despite these downsides, the hospital's overall care and support are commendable, and I appreciate the dedicated staff.

I am a hearing-impaired person.
The doctor said that his hearing loss would interfere with medical treatment.
I would like someone who is healthy to accompany me.
I said, ``I'm single, so that's impossible.''
To repeat this
When I said, ``Does that mean you shouldn't come to the doctor after all?''
No, “I didn’t tell you not to come to the doctor’s appointment if that wasn’t the case.”
repetition
(We started yelling at each other, and the medical assistant closed the curtains in the exam room and went away.)
When I stood up and said, "That's enough," he grabbed my arm and made me sit down.
Repeated trouble due to hearing loss...

God bless every health worker in this hospital, those in surveillance, those in cleaning, those in the nutrition department, and especially the ophthalmological doctors, the retinologist, and resident doctors, and Yenny at the reception. And social work. Excellent service, in care and procedures, hospital, and control. Thank you very much for the great service you provided us on the two occasions we came. Thanks to the timely intervention they gave my mom, she is doing very well. We didn't do well in the children's cardio, nor in the clinic at the national university. They have a long way to go to know that the patient deserves respect and timely attention. THANK YOU HOSPITAL SAMARITANA, FOR YOUR EXCELLENT SERVICE. VERY GOOD ADMINISTRATION OF THE HOSPITAL, AND VERY GOOD CARE AND DIAGNOSIS BY THE SPECIALISTS. Since you are admitted for emergencies, the attention is very fast and timely. GOD CONTINUE BLESSING YOU 🙏.

Bad bad. The treatment is derogatory towards low-income people.
If you want to receive good treatment, dress well and show that you are of good economic standing.
And if the patients are "eps" things get worse.

Bad service, I've been trying to get in touch for two days to request an appointment but no one responds, they just listen to a recording. Please gentlemen, more human quality and user service. Do not enter phone numbers if they are never going to answer.
I am at the hospital waiting to make an appointment, but the person attending has preference with friends. It's been an hour and it has only served 3 people with assigned shifts. It's a shame that the tension is under democracy
