I had minimally invasive surgery and stayed 4 days. The nurses and doctors were all very friendly and helpful, the hospital and patient rooms were quiet, clean, and smelled fresh. I usually have a hard time sleeping in an unfamiliar place, but the hospital bed was surprisingly soft and comfortable and the nurses gave me something at night so I actually ended up getting the best sleep in years. Evening rounds came in at 10:30 PM and morning was 7:50 AM so my roommate and I got our 8-9 hours sleep and went home rested. Big thank you to all doctors and nurses at Albertinen Krankenhaus.

Came to Notaufnahme with racing heart, palpitations and chest pains with breathing issues. I wasnt sure whether it was serious enough considering how full the hospital was and i felt embarrassed to go. Nevertheless, i was treated warmly and respectfully during my long and expected wait (its an emergency room people, chances are someone is going to be sicker and more needing of help than you!) . The staff were under pressure with so many sick people and i was happy to wait. They found me room to stay overnight as the Cardiac Unit was full, and still i was treated respectfully and with dignity. I too am a foreigner, with questionable German skills but i try and found no racism as other have said. Im now in the cardiac ward and grateful that im being cared for. Still! Thankyou to lovely Notaufnahme Doctor, the Cardiac team, the nurses at 2A and also now up in 6B. Everyone has a sense of humour and are so friendly! I recommend this hospital 100% you are in good hands! Chill!

We can tell Dr. Highly recommend Geibel and his birth team! We felt totally taken care of and extremely looked after. Apparently they still exist, competent doctors with empathy who listen and take their time.

A family member spent a month in different wards of this hospital this year due to cancer. Internal and external communication resembles a catastrophe: • Some doctors hardly speak German • No uniform diagnosis, every doctor told something different • Lack of emphatic behavior in the doctor-patient conversation, pure transmission of medical information • Important PET examination in external facilities had to be postponed because sobriety was forgotten The nursing staff and the senior doctor in rehabilitation, Mr. Krasniqi, who was the only one who tried to build a bond with the patient and respond to feelings, worries and needs, remain positive in memories

Super friendly, patient and competent! Did a great job of sewing my severed finger back on. Despite the painful occasion, the short stay was very pleasant given the circumstances. Thank you!

It would be nice to start doing something with the parking spaces, there are few of them, drivers stand where they shouldn't and block the passage of ambulances. The institution itself is great, but due to the ill-conceived parking for so many people, I give it 3*.

There's a good people and there's a very bad people, but the hospital has to make a Training courses for workers to deal with patients and should be attention to patients' complaints. I wonder how a kind docteur like Dr Ilenko Anna has a secretary like that🤷🏻‍♀️ her secretary is a very tough person😬 Violent, aggressive👽 and attacker😡 She does not respect the patients😡 and believes that they are her slaves😈 and that she works for free not for money, and that she works in her own institution or in her home.

Unfortunately, the hospital has become bad. It has become for trainee doctors, not for excellent doctors in the past. I can't thank all the staff at The Christie enough. I had a minor procedure with them and during my time there felt truly cared for and supported. Absolutely amazing.. from beginning consultations, staff at reception, HNO... all the way down to the operation itself.. I am very very pleased. The ward, staff, and best of all Dr Aziz.. were amazing. One thing I didnt like.. (but I'm not going to let that stop me giving 5 stars).. is the staff in the holding area before and (especially) after the OP. They weren't friendly at all.. before the operation, the guy seemed like he wasn't happy to be there.. like he was fed up with everything and everyone.. Never in my life has a cannula caused me so much pain.... But worst of all.. after the Operation.. even though I was still coming out of the anesthesia, I was fully aware of my surroundings... the female nurse there was busy trying to complete some online course, but because her computer kept freezing or something, she kept shouting and swearing. My mouth was dry and wasn't sure if I was allowed to drink so I asked politely for a sponge used to moisten the mouth.. She just shrugged off my request and didnt help me.. I did later finally get a sip of water from the fed up male attendant.. being in pain and having to listen to the screeching insults being hurled at a PC, wasn't a pleasant experience. However, as soon as the assistant surgeon gave me the adequate pain relief and I was on the ward.. everything was great again. The staff on ward D2 deserve a pay rise. Loved every minute.. The ward itself is very cozy and rooms were luxury.. Best coffee machine ever!! All staff there were very attentive to my needs and helped in any way they could. The aftercare is also amazing.

Long story short 🙂: I had a couple of surgeries on both hip joints when I was one year old. Everything went well at that time, living with the thought that the problem was solved forever, enjoying the outdoor activities I wanted to do. But I was wrong. The day when I started feeling pain in my right hip joint which has also reflected on my walking mobility was the life challenge I didn't ask for. It was not the way I was imaging my life further, pills were not helping a lot, the only way out was the surgery (hip replacement). As I am not Slovak, at first it was hard for me to decide where to do it, here or go home, you know so many things to take into consideration including the care after surgery especially if you do not have any family member beside you. I did search on net and found this clinic which took my attention as potential one based on all the info and patient testimonials I read. Fortunately, the orthopedist MUDr. Jozef Vojtaššák, PhD who did all my examinations advised me that this is the clinic where he is performing the surgeries. And actually this was the decisive piece for my dilemma. Today, after 15 days from the successful surgery I am happy that I feel the difference and for this nice feeling I would like sincerely to thank MUDr. Jozef Vojtaššák, PhD for his professional and caring approach, for all his support, advises and answers to my million questions, to all nurses and physiotherapists from the Clinica Orthopedica and Spine Clinic for their unconditional care, patience, friendly approach and kindness who made my two weeks stay in the clinic like home.Looking back now, it was maybe fast but definitely right decision to make, not regretting at all, thankful and grateful to the whole medical team who has for sure overachieved my expectations. At my dad's request I am leaving this review. As a result of long and intense work at the computer, as well as for age-related reasons, my dad’s eyesight deteriorated significantly. By the time of contacting the MedElect clinic to A.A. For Ginoyan, my dad’s initial situation with his eyes looked like this. Left eye: myopia -5.5 diopters, early stage of cataract. Right eye: -9.5 diopters, cataract. Dad was amazed and very pleased by the thoroughness and comprehensiveness of the study of the initial state of the eyes using various equipment (even a tomography of each eye was carried out!..). As a result of this detailed, but very quick examination, naturally, it was possible to accurately determine the choice of diopters and the type of artificial lenses (monofocal lenses were chosen). First, surgery was performed on the right eye, and 1 month later on the left. The teamwork and coordination of the entire operating team, the experience and skill of the surgeon are at their best - A.A. Ginoyan. I was surprised by the attention even to such a small detail: a special cushion was placed under the knees of the person being operated on, which made being on the operating table very comfortable. The operations themselves were absolutely painless and did not take long (about 10-15 minutes for each eye). After the operation, my father became farsighted, but at the same time retained the ability to work at the computer without glasses. Even after all the operations A.A. I had a good experience with Dr Carlos for MRI scans and follow-up appointments. However, the billing team and administration is very unorganized and has caused me a huge amount of stress and suffering. I am a full yinsured patient and they have been unable to submit my invoices to correct insurers, failed to communicate with me when my insurance companies have missed something, and start chasing down payments of plus 2 years old using debt collection agencies. Beware, stay away from the Schoen Clinics as they are very unprofessional. Have never experienced anything quite like this. In April 2023, a debt collection agency contacted me saying invoice over due with Schoen Clinic. I was shocked as my insurance company should have settled this 1 year ago. Cigna subseqeuntly settled the bill quickly on my behalf once I took lead on it. To be clear, I never recieved one piece of communication from Schoen Clinic saying the bill had not been settled by my insurance company and they went straight to debt collection agency even though I have a long history with the clinic as an insured patient. In November 2023, I get contacted again by a debt collection agency. Schoen were unable to tell me in April 2023 that there was also £175 invoice and a fee of £100 that had not been paid by Axa in 2020. Clearly at this point I am losing all hope with the Schoen Clinic and am insulted that they would raise these trivial amounts via agency this long ago. I struggle to even remember what they are for, have not recieved invoices and to make matters worse you cant even contact somebody in person to talk to about it.

Absolutely terrible. Didn’t help my knee at all. Left in the waiting room for 50mins for appt. Then I apparently had £12 bill outstanding. I had a baby. Then I find out they’ve passed the £12 bill to a debt collector who has rolled it up and added a load of fees.

This review is for the administration, not the health professionals, which I will post separately. I attended for a consultation on 14th March and paid an invoice that day which I was led to believe covered everything. At the end of July I was chased for an outstanding invoice of £400 for two x-rays which was supposedly raised on 15th March. I queried it, but to no avail. And only today have I finally received the actual invoice, 5 months late! In view of my being originally misinformed and the delay in providing the invoice, a small reduction? Not a chance!

Waiting time was about 1.5 hours It was already borderline. I urgently sought an orthopedist because of a herniated disc. Unfortunately, the reality is this. Several people rejected me on the phone. I asked for an appointment by email. After about a week the answer came. You can come on November 23rd. After a few days, a lady called me and gave me an appointment to see the gentleman on November 17th due to the pain Kubosh. This doctor did everything right for me. He chose the right therapy for me. He took his time and explained every step. I am very satisfied with this clinic.

Badly organized. After waiting four months for an appointment for a stress fracture in the foot, it was postponed again two days beforehand. There was an alternative appointment at short notice, but I had to cancel it after waiting two hours. It was not possible to say how long I would have to stay in the waiting room and I had to go back to work. If it's already so long to find an appointment, I unfortunately don't understand why the waiting time on site is still so long. Conclusion: The clinic only seems suitable for people with an exceptional amount of time. It may be easier for private patients.

In March of this year, my wife received an artificial hip joint at the joint clinic. She was very well informed in advance by Professor Konstantinidis. She spent a total of 4 days in the clinic... Room top...food great.... Nursing staff very accommodating! The physiotherapist is great! Today she is fully mobile again and has no restrictions. This clinic can be recommended 100 percent.

Dentist Dr Riikka Vahtera and her team are very nice, kind and professional. The clinic’s facilities and instruments are top notch - the most advanced I’ve seen in Finland, Canada and the UK. I would definitely recommend!

I have been to the dentist. For one filling I payed 300 euro! I know that the dentist work is expensive in Finland but that’s absurd! (One simple cavity filling!!! And it was not even a very great job done) Besides that, I payed 150 at the cash counter and then I received one more letter in which I was requested to pay 150 more because they forgot to add the doctor fee!

Nobody answers the phone (I was on hold for 45 minutes). When someone answered, they were unwelcoming/rude. The doctor was not available for a week she said. The doctor Marcin Panek does not know how to use a computer, he could not view/open my x-ray CD. He does not know how to type on a keyboard (takes very long time to type with two fingers). before even looking at my x-ray(because it would not open on his computer) he said I needed surgery(!?!). He recommended two hospitals/doctors for surgery, but after looking them up I saw bad/low reviews for these places. I got two more opinions at other orthopedic offices and they said surgery was not necessary. He only has 3 reviews on znanylekarz.pl... they do not do surgeries here anymore. EFFI was good when DR Łukasz Budziazek worked there, but he no longer is there. They have changed the name of EFFI to "New medical+"

I have been waiting 3 weeks for a report that was suppose to take ten days, I called to confirm when and they said one more day and now they push me straight to voicemail. I do not recommend. Very unprofessional. Then the doctor told me I immediately needed surgery and a metal plate put in my neck! I went for two other opinions and both others disagreed fully. These people are not good and knife crazy. Scary stuff. STAY AWAY.

First appointment they forgot to book it in the system and I drove there 40 min for nothing, no apology or anything, just normal for them.. Second time I arrived right on schedule just to be told I couldn’t go in as i HAD to be there 20 min earlier while their message confirming my appointment only requested to be 20 min earlier more in a suggestive manner. Lovely place..

I went for pain therapy/diagnosis. The final report differs from what was experienced. It lists therapies that I did not receive. After 16 days of stay, my treating doctor changed. I was taken in by an understanding doctor who also recognized the success of my own therapy. Another doctor wrote the final report, which is essential for my future medical career. The report praises the in-house therapy and downplays my personal successes against my illnesses. Now it's clear to me why you only get the report when you leave, i.e. at the door. Painkillers such as ibuprofen, which only numb the pain for a short time, are preferred here. I felt that the pain therapy was standardized. Individual deviations were not wanted. It was difficult or impossible to get used to multiple illnesses and alternative therapies here! The therapists were great. And it's pretty there too. However, there was a lack of opportunities to provide appropriate self-therapy in rooms and equipment (including outdoors). Ordering food was a disaster.

First the positive: The food is great, the kitchen team does a great job. For my birthday I received a birthday card from the kitchen team and a small, lovingly prepared fruit bowl. Thanks again for that. Ms. Noak, my physiotherapist in charge, is great, she explains the connections in a way that you can understand. She is sensitive and radiates calm. The nurses on ward 7 are trying very hard, but you can also sense some dissatisfaction, which I can understand. Now about my treatment. I am very disappointed about this, I would have liked more diagnostics, not just a gait analysis. My request for an MRI examination of the cervical and lumbar spine was rejected with the words: “We don’t see any need for that.” The CDs I had with me were already 2-3 years old, but were sufficient for the doctors who were responsible for me. The therapies I had were good to very good, but they mostly took place in the morning, so that you were knocked out by lunchtime. Sometimes you had to eat your breakfast within minutes. Stan had a lot on his agenda in the afternoon, but it was either watching videos about breathing therapy, which the group had already done in the morning, or using two devices in the hallway. So I went back home with tips and some rest, but with just as much pain as at the beginning. I think I was just unlucky with my doctors.
