I tried to contact them for several days!!!! I sent emails, I called to the reception and she redirected me to a wrong department. There they gave me another phone number but they don't pick up for 2 days!!!! Hopefully their emergency department works faster.

Unfortunately we had to visit Stomatochirurgic department on Sunday evening in emergency with our kettle nephew who had an accident and the tooth got broken. The nurse was very nice to us whilst we were filling up all the paperwork. Meanwhile doctor A. Ščerbová arrived and told us her opinion about the necessity to take out the tooth. We were worried to make the decision quickly and she was so nice and patient that didn’t mind to explain everything to our family friend (dentist) over the phone. Whilst the procedure started she was communicating with our nephew, explained him everything and shortly it was done. Really amazing experience and lovely professional, but still kind attitude of the nurse and the doctor. Thank you very much again!!! PS: there is massive car park with 50czk fee.

I had a thigh lift in April after a massive weight loss . It was cheaper than the UK but not particularly cheap. The results are awful. Still so much skin left, hardly made a difference. I complained to the clinic and was told by Dr Justan than I expect too much in a very short, abrupt reply. He was the same in person. I was desperate to feel better about my legs so I went with it. I’ve since seen my UK surgeon who did my breast uplift, arm lift, tummy tuck and he has told me the results are awful. Low scars, far far too much skin left, a handful from groin to knee still needs removing. Please do your research. I tried to save money by going here but now need to start again and save money to get fixed !

I thought my friend was describing the bedsores her father had while he was there and that they had to take him away to prevent his condition from worsening. Unfortunately, then a relative of the family went to this clinic for joint replacement surgery, and while being taken from the recovery room to the lower level for recovery, a young girl drove the relative and overturned the wheelchair. Accidents happen, but the behaviour of the doctor standing next to me debating with a lady was outrageous. Instead of being a doctor, he brazenly demanded money, saying he didn't see any other way to help. Not only is this kind of "failure to help" behavior criminal in the Czech Republic, but it shows the human and professional garbage that works there. This is my opinion, after the experience of a relative. And before I didn't believe my friend that this is common there, when she had a problem with her father's bedsores, after our family's experience I have a personal opinion that is never there again, this style of health care and doctors' behavior where I want to put my relatives or God forbid to lie as a patient myself.

I had breast augmentation in October. I was booked in for implants and restructure after substantial weight loss. For the first 3 months everything looked fine but when the swelling went down my new breasts started to droop. I took the advice of Dr Justan who advised me I didn't need implants, just augmentation. This was very poor advice or a money making exercise. The Surgal Clinic now want nearly three times what I initially paid to put an implant in with full augmentation. Very poor advice and after service. They have tried to blame the elasticity of my skin being very good hence the droop but an experienced surgeon should have identified this. I am now booked in to an English clinic, where I should have gone to start with. The clinic itself is extremely nice, like a 5* hotel with excellent staff it's just unfortunate that the surgery isn't the same.

Today I went to ORL department at ST Michaels because of the pain in my left ear. While sailing on Danube we were just passing by and I had to run and jump in without appointment. Not only did the MUDr. Matúš Čentéš find the time for me, help me with spot on diagnose and best treatment, but he also went his way to show me where the pharmacy is, he took a few minutes out of his busy schedule to explain prescribed medicine. Hospitality perfect, the servis too. In different hospital they wanted to operate my hernia discs, i relocated here and in 3 days they fixed me up prkperly wothout operation. Thumbs up! Also food is much better then other hospitals and doctors are very friendly and will always properly explain whats going on and discuss various options for you. I will reccomend this hospital anytime!

Good day, on 11/14/2023, I underwent a prostate biopsy at department 8/3 in Martin. I can't help but write this review for such a super professional approach of all involved. It started already at the reception, the nurse was incredibly empathetic. It's a shame that I don't know her name, she would definitely be named. Also, big thanks to all the nurses, especially one, I think they called her Deniska. Doctor Kliment topka, golden person. Oh and I can't forget the anesthesia ladies, I wanted to thank them right away but I couldn't speak....thank you in addition, you were great! And what to write at the end? Hello, my son was operated on 3 years ago at the Martin University Hospital, Department of Surgery. We had a personal interview with Mudr. Adamik - surgeon. A doctor with a high level of professional education. Just a top. Now 3.11.2023 again after 3 years we contacted him again. He was extremely willing and accessible. He planned an operation that is difficult and is only performed in Martin and Prešov. The disease is called Hydradentis suppurativa. Since Martin is closer to us, i.e. 300 km from our place of residence, we chose this hospital again. If you suffer from such a disease, I highly recommend it.

Worse service ever. I had covid symptoms and couldnt breath, the receptionist was unpleasant and sent me to another hospital and from that hospital sent me back to Ružinov Hospital. Half day was wasted and i had to eventually wait for 7 hours while still waiting here and doctors are closing the door so strongly that it just shakes my mind. Toilets are broken no toilet paper even. While im waiting here my health condition has gone worse. I wouldnt even give one star so far.

This hospital stinks like smelly feet and doctors does even not have medicine certificate, better to give birth at home!

Waited about 30 mins for a kids X-ray. Overall very satisfied with the service. Staff was all very nice and helpful. Some spoke limited English but we were able to navigate it without major issue.

We waited way too long on Kid’s emergency department. We used to live in Bulgaria for a few years and even there is service better and faster. Disappointed

I wish you a good day. In June 2023, our 89-year-old mother was operated on in your hospital. She was operated on by Mudr. Turčan, Mr. Prime Minister of the private gynecologist. Mamma center in BB. He performed the operation in an absolutely professional manner, for which we thank him very much. My mother, but also the family, were very worried about putting her to sleep, as she has a very weak heart and, of course, her old age. She was anesthetized by the head of the OAIM department, Mudr. Paľúch Štefan, who did his job absolutely professionally. After the operation, he gave us the necessary information, assured and reassured us that my mother was transferred to the ward in a stable condition, where he took the initiative to check her. I sincerely thank the Surgical Department - Hospital Agel Žiar nad Hronom. I met incredibly nice medical staff in the department, helpful, smiling, without any signs of nervousness or stress. I also rate the cleanliness of the ward and the food very positively. Although I had a prescribed diet, the dishes were excellently flavored. Opinion on private family natural birth. Premium package. It was my second birth. The first one was at Medeor Hospital in Łódź, which I remember much better even though I didn't pay for it. There I experienced warmth, respect and understanding that was often lacking here. I went to the hospital after 6 hours of painful contractions with severe pain. I was seen by a doctor who from the very beginning called me "you", treating me with contempt. I don't remember his name, but I think he introduced himself as Marek (I think it was Dr. Marek Korożan, but I could be wrong because 2 years have passed since the birth). Based on the CTG results, he said that I was not giving birth at all, but since I had already come from far away, I should go to the antenatal room and go to sleep, and that I would definitely not give birth in the near future. At the very beginning, I felt like an intruder and a bother of four letters. I spent several hours in the room with my husband - of course, not sleeping and fighting contractions. After a few hours, a midwife (Ms. Joanna Miłosz) came and asked if I should be examined. I agreed. It turned out that I was 6 cm dilated and they asked if I should give anesthesia. I remember the midwife fondly. The anesthesiologist was also very nice and tried to relax the atmosphere while administering anesthesia. Morning came and with it a change of staff. Another gynecologist was very cold and unpleasant. When the anesthesia was removed and I started to complain about my statement that it hurts, I heard that I had pain when I was lying under anesthesia, and now it doesn't hurt at all, so I shouldn't say that because it's not true :-) Childbirth after anesthesia lying down despite my willingness and strength to give birth in a vertical position. While pushing, I heard some sarcastic and embarrassing comments from this lady (I unfortunately didn't remember her name). I felt very uncomfortable. Even on the National Health Fund, I have never been treated so disrespectfully and unpleasantly. When complications occurred, fortunately Dr. Chmyłko and Dr. Wnuk came and alleviated the unpleasant atmosphere. The birth was difficult and had complications, but thanks to them I felt cared for and safe at that moment. I also remember the doctor fondly. med. Anna Lew-Tusk - a neonatologist who took great care of our daughter when it turned out that her test results were not good. Postpartum care was generally okay, but despite my high temperature (infection) and the baby crying all night, I was not offered to take the baby so I could rest. Despite the completed birth plan and my clear objection to it, an injection of vitamin K was administered, later claiming it was by mistake. Other objective facts: comfortable beds, nice maternity room, good food. Due to complications for me and my daughter, we stayed in the ward a few days longer and I did not pay anything extra for this. My memories of giving birth are rather unpleasant. I paid for a private birth to avoid unpleasant situations and give birth in harmony with myself - my expectations were definitely not met. I wouldn't choose to give birth at Swissmed again.

Last week I had a planned CC in Swissmed - breech position. I am very pleased with my choice, the medical staff was very nice, everyone answered my questions, doubts and explained them. My husband was able to be with me during the surgery, after the surgery the care was also very good, the midwives and neonatal nurses were very helpful, kind and understanding. Doctors nice and competent however ladies on the phone rude and not helpful… they instruct you before you even explain what is the problem and have ZERO understanding and patience for family of patients. we paid for the test we did not get results on, trying to get through to the doctor on the phone- impossible. I do not recommend this hospital unfortunately due to poor customer service.

My opinion about the Golden Care Clinic is five :-) The receptionists are very polite and inform us exactly what we want to know before the tests. There are often situations when a patient cancels an appointment and we have the opportunity to schedule tests sooner. The doctors examine everything we have doubts about very carefully, are very polite and help us with a sincere smile. You must remember that the Golden Care Clinic is a private clinic, I recommend that you always ask carefully after the examination about medications, allergic conditions, the course of the disease, methods and duration of treatment. This will prevent stress, bad comments and more money spent. I recommend.

The staff first postpones the visit to an earlier time (which forces me to change my plans) and then it turns out that there is another delay. Moreover, loudly informing the patient about additionally paid tests during the visit in a full waiting room is not very comfortable.

I feel sorry for the old people. I brought my grandmother to the emergency department of this hospital on December 1, 2023. My grandmother was bitten by a street cat and needed to be vaccinated. We were told that she would be discharged tomorrow. 1. Left until Monday. 2. THEY HAVEN’T TREATED THE HAND ONE TIME IN 3 DAYS!!!!😡 Grandma asked to treat it, but no one moved. THE HAND HAS FALLED!! Now you need to see a surgeon urgently! 3. In the emergency department, they took blood from a vein and left a huge bruise. We sent the grandmother to the toilet to give urine, it didn’t close, the plastic jars for giving urine were not new. 4. They took a very long time to process us when we arrived, but they discharged us at the speed of a bullet, without waiting for me so that I could talk to the doctor. He can write to the Ministry of Health that in the 5th hospital there was no iodine or other disinfectants, antiseptics and bandages ♀️ 🤦🏼 and ask them to provide all this to the hospital.

I spent a couple of days in the hospital in the 1st surgical department for examination. I would like to express my gratitude to the medical staff of the department and special thanks to the doctors of the diagnostic department: doctor I.V. Goroshko and nurse A.A. In May 2022, we urgently arrived from Kazakhstan to the clinic. It was necessary to install a drainage to remove bile from the liver. The condition was quite serious, bilirubin was more than 500 units. In Kazakhstan it was not possible to install drainage, it did not work. The clinic was recommended to me in Israel. My mother has non-Hodgin lymphoma, non-GDC. We went to the clinic, already having the Israeli protocol in hand. The main thing is that they don’t impose anything unnecessary here, but even suggest what you can do yourself and what you can’t. At least in our case, this was exactly the case.

My relative is dying of cancer without treatment. She is either admitted to the clinic or sent home without starting treatment due to bureaucratic delays. A person counts every day, but apparently this is not as important as a new piece of paper, right?
