Was misdiagnosed, then I went there for a second time in the same week, waited 4 hours and didn’t get a solution. Very understaffed, only one dr on call and nurses seemed exhausted.

Very competent and friendly team. Good medical experience.

Unfortunately, the attitudes of almost all the staff during a recent outpatient trip to emergency were extremely regrettable. I was initially refused any painkiller for hours, despite having a broken bone. I was made to wait 7 hours, more than all the other people who had come in, not all of whom were acute cases. And I was not given a medical report on leaving, which meant I had to make a separate trip back to the hospital to insist on receiving it. I attempted to politely follow this up through normal channels but the response was excessively defensive and factually incorrect. No apology, no points acknowledged. Very disappointing indeed. All I can say is that 80-90% of the staff there were unpleasant, seemed to hate their jobs and made a difficult situation for me and others like me far worse.

Supportive, very friendly staff and fast help. Large site/area needs time to orientate and find your way. Treatment was top and newest available.

Non-professionals, there is no good communication with the patient! If you have a serious problem, it s better to look for another hospital! It takes a very long time for them to respond, and when they do, they are never clear. It seems like they want to get rid of you or respond in a way that makes you give up and look for other doctors or hospitals. Be clearer that you are medical professionals! I used to get my appendix out here. They're not that good. In the operating room I woke up during the operation and no excuses but since then I have had nightmares for years afterwards and I still have documents from that time and will now check for damages. Back then I was 10-11 years old and today I'm 47 and was hunting for it Nightmares whoever it happened to. And do you also have documents with the name of the treating doctor? Don't go here. Even my grandma was in there because of her hip and after that it went downhill. I'll never go to German slaughterhouses again. If you come abroad or go to neighboring countries, the doctors are better, even when taking blood there are differences. Bad doctors, some people really express their displeasure and I think that the 4-5 stars were bought by the hospital. You have been silent for years. Nowadays you can also watch it on television. In Denmark you doctors have a bad reputation. If you ever want to emigrate if you are a doctor then why not go to Denmark because it is noticeable here how bad you are and some people behave like they deliver in the hospital, they would have been sorted out here long ago. Who else is laughed at in the op? Maybe there's more than the hospital can handle. You can always start a survey that can be done publicly and at the chamber. The more you report what happened to you, the sooner the bad doctors come out and who didn't treat you well. If they are immoral to you, report them to the chamber and you'll sort out the black sheep. They paid so many to get the stars. And so many people giving full points says it all. If you don't want any damage then it's better to go to another hospital. And that will be everywhere soon. Besides the exam. I also send it to the Medical Association. And continue so that the neighboring countries pay more attention to what they are like when they are looking for a new job. A German woman recently lost her job in a retirement home because she drank on duty. She goes back to Germany with greetings to a retirement home there. Very bad reputation when it comes to doctors.

This morning, November 15th, 2023, I had a colonoscopy. From the senior physician, Dr. Martin and the assistance of Mr. Kouridis. The result showed no findings. My mother had her thyroidectomy surgery done here recently. She was hospitalised for a total of 5 days. Her Thyroid gland was exceptionally huge, but Dr Marius Kivilis managed to remove the entire gland in one surgery. He has done a fantastic job and my mother's recovery has been very smooth. It was a very difficult surgery that we passed with ease. The nursing team were exceptionally kind and attentive. They were going above and beyond their duty to ensure the patients and their families felt comfortable and cared for. You could see that they care for you as a person who is going through a hard time, as opposed to "another patient" who will be leaving the hospital soon. The ward was clean and airy, with plenty of natural light. overall, we were very satisfied with the procedure and the service, Thank you Augusta Krankenhaus! :)

I had a very good experience. From the first moment I set foot in the hospital for tests until the time I was discharged I felt safe and that everything was done in an organized and responsible manner. The doctors are excellent and the nurses are friendly. For the first time in my life I had to be hospitalized and my opinion about the health system in Germany changed radically. I sincerely thank the Greek doctor dr Tzamali, who follows my course, he is a great scientist and person, he gives me detailed explanations to every question and the appropriate directions.

So scary for emergency! Somebody could be die if waiting for the service. First my man should waiting 2 hours while other German treat more faster. Then the stupid nurse false took blood (cant know where’s exactly my man’s vine) when my man angry because she took 3 times false then the nurse with hijab 🧕 just shout out then writing my man doesnt want to get blood check. Wth?! Wasting time! After that she told us to go out when my man still bleeding. She just cover the wund not properly. The we have to wait again for more than 4 hours because they think my man sick not urgent, we never know my man could stroke or not like they dont care at all. No of course i’m not try to racism with hijab or religion, i just dont like the attitude as a nurse. Totally not recommend for emergency better look for other hospitals who didnt do racism and professional nurse!

Couldn’t be worse than this. I think even the the prison the doctors would be nicer. I went 5 in the morning and they had me waiting 2hrs in the emergency than further 4 more hours without any communication. The attitude of the doctor and nurses were so rude, probably because I’m not German. I had to come back taking discharge because the doctor was talking so rudely, and I cannot trust my health to such a pathetic doctor.

A well-organized hospital, with friendly nursing and service staff. The medical care was great and everything was explained well to me and my questions were answered. The food was very good and either kept well chilled or well hot. I can happily recommend this hospital.

Worst experience ever. Had glass in my foot the doctor spent 5 hours dealing with me ,she cut my foot so badly and she could not finish the job. In parallel people kept being distracted the whole time and this work requires a bit of silence and concentration. The hospital is cold, there is wifi but does not work and my friend waited 5 hours with me and due to the fact it is unbearable temperature she got t a cold too. Also the doctor sent me with a note saying I decided to leave and she did not finish the job, no one was skilled to help her. I was not going to stay so she could continue to cut my foot with a scalpel and not find the glass. You can see the bad job.

The worst place for heart . They just rip off money from people with heart problem . They did open heart surgery for my mom and her heart was not Qualify for and open heart surgery . They just wanted the 60 thousands euro 💶 and my mom passed away after the surgery . Guys be careful with them . Look for another place in world . thailand and Singapore I heard they r the best now in heart treatment . Good luck 👍 and pray for my mom 🥺

I had a great experience giving birth at UKE. everyone working there was super nice, cooperative and friendly at the registration and at the Kreißaal as well as in the postpartum care. We requested the family room, which became available in few hours post our request ( you do need to keep following up the availability status of the room til you get it though ) For the mom, you need to get a shirt/ dress to give birth in. And pjs for afterwards as well as the bathing supplies For the baby, you will only need to have the go home outfit and maybe a pacifier. All else will be supplied by the hospital. The meals served are really good too. Not the typical tasteless hospital food .. you will need to have some snacks with you for in between the meals especially if you’re planning on breastfeeding. All in all, i had a really good experience and highly recommend the hospital

Waste of time! I got food posioned and waited for hours! Nobody checked me and I had to leave because another patient came and told us she was waiting for 7 hours. I mean this is an emergency, it shouldn't be like that. Aside from all these stuff there was very rude. I was fighting with pain and with the people at the same time. Not even talking about the money I paid for the taxi because I thought I can get help here. I don't know what I am gonna do if I ever have more risky situations like that. This has to be changed.

18 year old friend of mine has been hospitalized due to a tumor. because of a so called "emergency" a vacation had to be cancelled and he didn't even make it into the infirmary. during the operation they managed to injure the liver (which isn't exactly spottet on the head) and he was in a critical state. he died less than a week after the operation and the doctors had the audacity to say "have a nice evening". worst hospital ever. will make sure none of my loved one's ever go there again.

Saved my spouse's life despite being at the height of the COVID delta wave from a SCAD heart attack. Staff were extremely dedicated and helpful, especially the ICU team. Thank you.

Very bad hospitality.

My girlfriend went to their E.R. It took them seven hours to accommodate us. A nurse misplaced her chart adding to the delay. I understand that there is a triage system that prioritizes severe or emergency cases but waiting for the whole day is absurd. It was especially hard for us, since we are foreigners and cannot speak fluent German. Honestly, it was a horrible experience.

My worst experience in a hospital for far. My room is beside a place that are remodeling, 12 hours of the sound of a hammer constantly. Due my operation I can not eat solids, so the only thing they are offering me is pocket soup, no veggies no fruits, nothing. And forget about to find the manager, she is never in the office, and she will never pick up the phone. The personal in my station are good the most of them, the problem in hospital is systematic.

The most irresponsible and unprofessional team I've ever met. My oparation was cancelled one day before the last minute, after all the preparation. Even worse, for more than one month, no apologize, no explaination and no call back to arrange a new time for the oparation.

Worst hospital I have ever been too. They are under staffed and under funded and care more about making money then care of patients. Cancelled appointments without letting patients know due to broken equipment and staff shortages. You would get batter care in a third world country hospital. Asklepios is a shinning example of how broken the German Medical System is.

The worst experience with the treatment for an international patient. The hospital arranged for us viewing for a cardiology patient. We travelled from a far away to be there (having paid a huge lump some that was supposed to be used for the tests etc). Instead - the person who took blood tests did not even wear PPE, the doctor who saw us had not even read our history (having sent if a month before), did not do any meaningful tests that would bring us to the diagnosis, still waiting for the anamnesis (and prescriptions) to be sent to us after over two weeks.

Thank you so much to the orthopedics team and everyone at station M120. They gave me a new ACL after I tore it, the operation went perfectly, and the care I received after was outstanding. I prepared for the worst, but the friendliness and professionality of the staff made everything so, so much better.

The staffs are friendly, and they saved my friend, so 5 stars for sure. However, if it’s possible, I hope I’d never need to come here even they have a great view outside of the window. Stay healthy 🤲
