I have a sad experience. They lure you with experience and the first reception is always positive. Then everything happens quickly and the client is not allowed to come to his senses that he has already agreed to the operation. After the operation, when you signed, they are not interested in you. I was mutilated there, and for a lot of money. Unfortunately, health cannot be restored. Never go to this office!!! There are swindlers in medical gowns.

I have suffered from back pain periodically since 2005. For the last month, I suffered from terrible pain, which was transferred to my left leg, the pain was unbearable, no medicine helped, and blockades were performed, which did not give results. I decided not to suffer anymore and went to the clinic with Dr. Purina, who encouraged me to do the operation. Doctor Kārlis Puriņš was able to convince me and told me everything delicately, that there was no longer any doubt about the surgical intervention, that after the operation my excruciating pain was over and that I could finally live normally. The doctors are all very kind and responsive, the attitude of the nurses was simply excellent, I really felt at home, I was never left alone. After the operation, he could stand up and walk on the second day. Many thanks to Dr. For the staff of Puriņa private clinic, everything was really excellent. Special thanks to Dr. To Karl Purin! From my experience, I want to advise everyone not to suffer pain and go to Dr. Puriņa's private clinic! I wish everyone good health and a peaceful white Christmas!

I had knee meniscus arthroscopy surgery at RNOH hospital in Stanmore (via the Private Care Unit) and I was truly satisfied with the results. All of the staff were genuinely amazing in helping me feel welcomed, relaxed and taken care of.
***FYI, I found this hospital through the NHS hospitals reviews website as being the best in the UK when dealing with joints issues like mine.***
Special thanks to Dr Chethan Jayadev (my surgeon) and his team in the operation theatre. Also special thanks to the Senior Nurse Sima who made sure everything is prepared and ready for me before and after the operation - she was amazing in every given moment even when I was leaving the hospital she made sure I can hop in the car in a safe for my knee way... I mean wow it does not cost much to be nice to others.
Frankly speaking my experience as being positive matched with the reviews I read about this hospital few years ago. It is nice to see that they are keeping up with the reputation and level of service.
I wish you very best if you are planning to go for a surgery at this hospital and I am sure whichever path you choose either funded through NHS or though Private Health Insurance Provider you will be treated very well - saying that as I had the opportunity to see and experience both pathways and levels of treatments. ❤️👍

I recently had a spinal procedure under the care of Mr Leong. I am extremely grateful for the level of care and attention I received, from being offered alternatives before I was ready to take the plunge with surgery, to the surgery itself and after care. It was lovely to feel complete faith in my consultant but also to hear other doctors speak so highly of him. The whole team at RNOH were so helpful and attentive and I am truly grateful to Mr Leong, for his kind & caring attitude and for getting me back on my feet again.

After being bed bound with crippling sciatica for over a month, recovering through exercise, then relapsing back to being bed bound, I decided to get a gp referral to the SSC for a specialist opinion. SSC were highly recommended by a friend who had a lot of work done on his ankle.
I had to get my initial MRI scan done externally for the referral as SSC were too busy to handle out patients. Once referred, I met my surgeon (Michael Kelleher) who found an extremely herniated lumbar disc, and I was given the option for surgery, which I agreed to.
I went in for surgery literally 7 days later (a miracle given Ireland's rep for medical backlogs), and I haven't looked back since.
Sciatica was gone immediately post-surgery, and the pain from the surgery itself was a minor inconvenience in comparison. I am now nearly 4 weeks post op and have regained full movement, ability to drive etc. I still need to take it easy to prevent the risk of re-herniation, but I can definitely say I have my life back again, and I am incredibly grateful to all the staff at SSC.
Edit : I am now 9 months post op and going for surgery was still the best decision I ever made. My back is perfect!

No Ethos. They actually don't work with patients that need rehab, they make money with surgeries. I crossed over the country to get there and their "fantastic & professional" attention was to send me back to the hospital I was coming from. Oh! the doctor is very well able to read & write; he read me out my own file (who I carried a copy myself) and he did a summary letter of it to the same doctors that original wrote it down to my file. What a medical advice I got!!!!. On top of that they were training another doctor on this abilities... absolutely no shame. I got no answers to any of my questions, no information or review about my state or any recommendation about treatment or rehab, or anything to do... nothing, nothing at all except for a reading and a letter of information already known.

From my initial contact with customer services, everything just flowed smoothly. From entering reception, having the tests and X-Rays, having the operation on my knee, recovering, and being taken to my apartment, then going through the rehab program. Everything has been worked out to run as smoothly as possible. The cars are there to meet you at the airport. They come every day and take you to the clinic and back to your place of stay. The drivers are all polite with lots of patience. I cannot praise Nordorthopaedics highly eneough. Wonderful service from all involved.

My GP was very sceptical when I told him that I was considering going to Lithuania to solve my knee problem. He immediately put me in touch with university friend who orthopedic surgeon. After a one to one consultation with him it became clear that private medical surgery in the UK (more specifically Scotland) was going to be very expensive with a minimal rehabilitation plan.
I then contacted Nord through the "contact us" form on their website.
Emilija phoned me the next day offering to answer any questions that I had. From then on, the process just seemed to happen. There was no hard sell or problems, just solutions!
The medical team were very thorough about medical history, as they do not want anything to go wrong!
I confirmed with Emilija, my date for surgery. My wife and I then booked the flight from Edinburgh and self-catering accommodation.
One of Nord's drivers picked up us from Kaunas airport and took us to our apartment. From then on all transport was communicated by WhatsApp. We were collected for the pre-op check at the clinic. The X-Rays, blood tests etc were carried out incredibly efficiently with no waiting around. I was asked then to fill in all the forms and pay! On the morning of the operation, I was collected and taken to the clinic. I was shown to my room. I was to share with another gentleman who had had his partial knee replacement the previous day.
I was prepared for the operation in a very professional way that I didn't even have a feeling of trepidation! The next thing I knew I awoke in the bed, with the sedation having worn off but not the epidural - very strange not to be able to feel anything below the waist!
The first and second nights were fairly painful. The nursing team expect to be called whenever they are needed - they don't tend to check up unless prescribing meds or bringing food.
The physio came round the day after the op for walking lessons on a pair of crutches, including down and up stairs.
On day 2, another X-Ray and follow-up consultation with the surgeon confirmed my discharge; I was taken back to my apartment. I was able to walk to have some lunch on Liberty Avenue (the main street).
For the next 15 days, I was picked up for physio, which included dressing changes and pain meds top-up if required.
After 5 days, i was told to leave one crutch at home! within 7 days I was walking unaided, but did overdo it when my step counter logged that I had walked over 7km.
The physio sessions are imperative for a smooth recovery. Mostly they are gentle and controlled, but can be brutal! The exercises are combined with cryotherapy, homework exercises and the use of icepacks.
I would recommend at least 12 days physio.
The journey home on the plane was less painful than the outbound one!
20 days post op, I am doing the exercises religiously. It is still sore at times, but certainly better than knee I left Scotland with less than 3 weeks ago.
I drove my car on day 19!
If you have any doubts, just look at the reviews and join the Facebook page! Good luck (although you shouldn't need it!)!

Before reviewing Nord Clinic, I wanted to finish at least 10 weeks of post-surgery rehab to see how I was doing after my total hip replacement in mid-September. I am walking much better, including stairs. The previous pain and problems are gone. I am back at the gym, and now planning without fear a hiking and mountain biking trip in New Zealand. My experience with Nord Clinic was vastly positive, with only a few very minor glitches. They lived up to their reputation on Facebook and elsewhere. Should I have family members or friends in need of the services which Nord Clinic offers, I would 100% recommend Nord Clinic. Now that I have recovered my mobility, I am realizing that the surgery is turning out to be one of the best decisions I have made in quite some time. As a final note, my stay for Rehab was at the Radisson Hotel -- which I can also recommend as a solid choice.

I was treated amazingly by everyone that I met from the healthcare assistant to the consultant. The consultant was amazing and reassured me all the way through my surgery and the theatre nurse was amazing too as she held my hand and reassured me too as I have claustrophobia and had to have my face covered and it was so reassuring having her there talking to me throughout the operation. I can not thank the staff enough and would definitely 100% recommend the hospital to anyone in a position to be able to pay for treatment

Can't say was impressed by attitude of Kondratishko service. We not living in Latvia any more and have adopted to western culture and would like to have better service and customer skill service from person who charges such a big money for 5 min consultation. Very dissatisfied. Would not let my other half to have operation done by person like that. Hope clinic's bosses are reading this and some measures will be taken to put her on the right way how to provide her service.

After two children, my breasts had lose shape and volume and im happy that i chose surgeon Kārlis Vērdiņš, because communication was very free, relaxed from half a word understood exactly what I wanted , and his confidence in the final result convinced me even more . Finally, I feel like a full woman thanks to Kārlis Vērdiņš. I I wish you all the best with greetings Liva from Iceland

The doctor did not listen to my wishes at all, so the procedure will not be done at their place. The doctor in question is certainly a good teacher, but meeting a client is so much more than "talking and loving your own voice". Posting on behalf of my unwell partner, Helen. I had an email on 21st September cancelling her appointment in the ‘long covid clinic’ (she doesn’t have long covid…) and assuring a deposit refund in due course.
It’s now two weeks later and no sign of the refund, which is not an inconsiderable amount of money. Very concerned about why they can’t seem to access our money (and other peoples by the look of it) to return it to us.
We also thought it very bad practice that the cancellation email was a ‘no reply’ address and they don’t appear to have another email address. I have contacted them via their website contact form but of course have received no reply. I will now be contacting Citizens Advice regarding how to progress with this issue.
In Conclusion: BEWARE.

I had a routine apt at the hospital today - I was greeted by a receptionist called Tina extremely polite and helpful she confirmed my appointment and advised that my consultant was on schedule, she advised I could help myself to coffee and I would be called shortly.
After my appointment with my consultant - a very down to earth engaging and informative gentleman, I spoke to Wendy on reception - again extremely helpful and courteous lady who arranged a 8 week follow up appointment. The experience was smooth, to time and straightforward - thank you all.

Husband in for hernia op 26/10/23.
Excellent care, especially (my outsider's view, only being there for several hours over 2 days) from Sheila and Sarah. Their patent experience, kindliness tempered with a no- nonsense approach to the tasks in hand and thorough good-humour made his stay a great deal less unpleasant than it might have been.
Of course, those who passed in and out doing their duties; doctors, nurses, etc. were also very good and tirelessly upbeat. Not a grim face in sight!
If I did emojis, there would be a line of happy faces.
May I stay a day to test-drive and enjoy the well-balanced, toothsome food on offer!
Thankyou all!

When I first came to this hospital, I was unsure of it as it is very small, a little dated and the car park is tiny. I have visited on six separate occasions now and the thing that sets this hospital apart, is the people who work there. They are exceptional. Everyone is efficient, kind and goes the extra mile to look after you. Today in particular, Marble, a member of the nursing team, took such superb care of me, I’m incredibly grateful. There had been a mix up with my paperwork by the consultant team but it wasn’t an issue at all, she quickly resolved the matter for me, going above and beyond, to make sure I could have the tests needed and my journey wasn’t wasted. She took such lovely care of me and was incredibly kind. What I also observed was that Marble was showing a member of the front desk team how she was resolving the matter so that they knew how to help patients in future-this natural, on the job training, striving to help the current patient but also making sure all members of the team can help future patients is what makes the level of service in this hospital so strong. This hospital is now my primary choice when my insurance company refers me, purely based on the wonderful team and individuals like Marble who make each visit so seamless.

Highly recommended!
From my first initial consultation with Mr Nicol who was extremely helpful and nothing was an issue to getting my surgery done.
When arriving at the hospital in the morning I was welcomed and put at ease instantly. It was very reassuring and helped calm my nerves that Mr Nicol popped in prior to the surgery and explained what the procedure would involve and answer any questions. It also helped Andrew the anaesthetist popping in beforehand to chat things through.
The staff are all very friendly and helpful from the admin staff, catering staff, domestics to the theatre staff , physios and those on the ward. There are too many amazing staff to mention individually but a big thank you to Donna in recovery and Lucy on the ward.
I wouldn't hesitate on recommending anyone to use King's Park Hospital.
Definitely 5 stars and higher if there was the option!

As someone who has never had surgery before the guys at Kings Park Hospital put me at ease right away.
From the moment Emma met me to show me to my room Emma calmed me down.
Hannah looked after me also and continued the great care keeping me at ease at all times right through to walking me to theatre and then the after care.
The surgeon and anaesthetist both visited me prior to the op and again explained everything and had me in good spirits going into the op which for someone who was terrified of this day they done exceptionally well.
Walking into the theatre everyone was so nice and helped ease my fears.
The whole team who looked after me deserve a mention but there were so many.
I wouldn't have any hesitation using Kings Park Hospital again should the need arise and would definitley reccomend them.
Great service, great team keep up the excellent work.

All staff, from reception, catering to nurses and theatre were wonderful. So kind and genuinely caring. Have been to this hospital 3 times now and would absolutely recommend it.

I want to share my experience at Mount Alvernia hospital. I have been cared for by sister Daniela who has been truly first class in every aspect of my care. She is caring and knowledgeable and took very good care of my wound. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

What a fantastic experience. I attended the Sarum Road Hospital for a full left hip replacement in September 2023. Communication from the hospital was excellent. My pre-op assessment was easily arranged and went smoothly. My consultant, Mr Hartwright was brilliant. He fully explained what would happen and made sure I had no worries. The operation and follow up consultations went really well. My stay at the hospital was very comfortable and I was looked after really well by all the nursing and other staff. Following my operation I undertook physiotherapy. Jen was brilliant and took me through a series of exercises to strengthen and mobilise my new hip. I'm sure she made my recovery so much quicker.
Overall my experience at Sarum Road was fantastic and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to my friends and anyone else should they need treatment.

I feel I was looked after very well. A great surgeon, doing a hip replacement, and I recovered very quickly. The 6 months physio that you get as a paying patient gave support and encouragement..

Recovering from a total knee replacement and could not have been in safer hands than at Beardwood. All the nurses who looked after me were a credit and nothing was too much trouble for them. I was very well looked after and I am sure will recover more quickly as a result.

Everyone from the receptionist through to the surgeon made my stay a brilliant experience. The nursing staff (different on all 3 days) were nothing short of being Angels. The catering staff 1st class. Please note your full English breakfast was excellent. The night shift team were brilliant, nothing was to much trouble. Overall a 1st class performance in my opinion, thank you so much.

Great hospital where I was well taken care of during my ankle surgery. The only slight criticism is please wait after knocking before entering the room, a couple of times the person came in straight after knocking when I hadn't given my consent, one time I was not dressed. Other than that I had a lovely stay and everyone was really friendly and nice.

I had the great fortune to have surgery and a 2 night stay at The Chiltern Hospital as an NHS patient. The whole experience was exceptional, I could not have asked for more. Surgery is never without stress, and every single member of staff could not have done any more to take care of me. Many, many thanks.

Service was amazing start through finish. Staff took the time to make sure I was completely comfortable throughout.
My nurse Ram, surgeon Mr McElroy, physio Kate, antithesis Dr Bakhshi and all the other staff I interacted with on the floor were extremely patient, friendly, knowledgable and accommodating. Not a bad word to say, everyone made my stay at chiltern as comfortable as it could have been. Thank you

I was really pleased with the care I received when I was in for my gastric sleeve with Aruna Mungasinghe. He was an amazing consultant who I trust and respect. He had a brilliant bedside manner and made sure that I was fully informed on all decisions. My surgery went really well and I’m excited for the future now. I would also like to make a special mention to Nana who was my nurse on the day that I was admitted/surgery. She really put me at ease. All of the staff from nurses to doctors to porters to cleaners were so friendly and all had a sense of humour which really helped me as I was alone due to the distance from my home to the hospital. You made things so much easier for me. Thank you

I recently visited The Clementine Churchill Hospital for a neurological consultation, and I was thoroughly impressed with the exceptional service I received from the staff.
From the moment I stepped into the hospital, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by the staff. The check-in process was efficient and seamless, and I was promptly directed to the neurology department.
After my consultation, I visited the pharmacy department to fill my prescription. The pharmacists and phrmacy technicians were equally helpful and knowledgeable, ensuring that I understood the dosage instructions. They treated me with respect, compassion, and genuine care, making a challenging situation much less stressful.
I would highly recommend this private hospital to anyone seeking quality medical care. Their commitment to patient well-being is evident in every aspect of their service. Thank you.
