What a lack of professionalism: - nurses calling each other “amiga” while tending patients in their rooms - residents and nurses rushing into the patients rooms disregarding any privacy and without any education to greet anyone in the room - nurses setting up a workstation in the rooms hallway, meaning they have no respect for patients or visitors need for peace and quiet - poor facilities and lack of maintenance

The staff is very friendly and the facilities are clean and comfortable. The dark one in the rice is the cashier staff, who get annoyed just because, after almost five hours of having discharged a patient, they go to ask them if the documentation to pay is already there. It was a great experience! From the gate to medical care, I was treated very well. Initially, I received information that the expected wait would be two hours and I decided to stay calm, settle in and wait. The important thing was to have already gotten there. I went to the hospital a few times, both for consultation and emergency. What I can say is that the Hospital is very organized, has very well trained staff, I have always received very good service on the phone. I saw a lot of people criticizing here and I decided to tell my positive experience, it doesn't mean that I didn't encounter problems, such as a consultation that took 2 hours to wait, but in this case it was an isolated professional, I don't believe that the hospital itself is bad, but Like everywhere, there are good people and others not. The rating I give is 5 stars, as most of the staff are attentive, careful and the structure is excellent! In short, Hospital Santa Joana is of excellent quality, has very well-trained staff, they answer the phone and answer your questions very carefully. I had to take my 3 year old daughter to the pediatric emergency room and unfortunately I experienced racism from the first contact with the doctor asking me if I was the mother, because my daughter was white. I've never seen a children's professional not interacting with the child, not conditioning, nothing... Super rude, cold, indifferent. I observed her serving a white family and it was totally different. I felt violated. I don't recommend Santa Joana!

Didn’t have nice experience in this hospital at all! Although the doctors and nurses (some of them) were super nice we spent altogether 13 hours in the general surgery ward in the 5th floor and all they did in this time is took blood and urine analysis and did ultrasound diagnostic. It was 37 degrees outside and the person in pain did not drink or eat all this time!!! When I went arguing with them it turned out that the result was long time ready, they just didn’t feel like calling us, of course the reason of pain wasn’t found and we were sent home without any treatment or diagnosis. Not only they left the person in pain they MADE him wait the whole day after which he got worse.

I was referred by my family doctor with a problem related to water balance. I spent two days in the internal medicine department on the 4th floor of building B as an ambulatory patient. The four stars are because, despite the circumstances, the nurses and doctors stayed where they are and try to make the best of the situation, but it cannot be denied that the conditions are terrible. The department can only provide three meals a day, which is surprisingly good compared to the conditions, bedding, a bed, depending on the supply, infusion and adult diapers, medical examinations, water and electricity. Everything else must be brought, including toilet paper, bottled water, cutlery, hand soap, and towels. As an outpatient, for a short time, for a complete examination, it is worth it, but not for an incontinent patient, and I definitely do not recommend hospitalization for an incontinent AND problematic patient. Several people wrote that the nurses do not deal with the patients, are not helpful and treat the patients like prisoners. Yes, this is true in many cases, but personally, if I had to work in such conditions, for such wages, I would behave in the same way, if not worse.

The worst hospital that anyone can go to. I have no idea why the emergency reception is like this. I went there with a bad situation and I had to wait a couple of hours to be visited by a doctor. It's really funny how the situation is like there. Unfortunately, there are not many options in the city when you get sick during the weekend ie Saturday. At first, I went to the med campus and they said the only option is this hospital. After a couple of hours of waiting my condition got worse and I decided to come back home. Just go there if you are about to die otherwise staying at home is much better.

We went on a saturday morning for an urgency and received medical attention in less than 20 minutes, everyone was very polite and professional

Hospitals should hire more suitable doctors. In my opinion, clinics that deal with sensitive things, where patient has take off their clothes when required, there should be male and female doctors. Because not many people feel comfortable having to undress to be examined by a doctor of the opposite gender. Also there are many cases that the docter is not doing what he should do.

Very disappointing experience, tried to make an appointment for health checks as part of a visa application for working abroad. I was told that I had to email them, after trying to email six times with no success, I rang the clinic. Spoke to a very rude receptionist (Debra) who accused me of making spelling mistakes and there was nothing wrong with their email address. I explained that I had checked the spelling over and over again. She still wasn’t interested in helping me solve the issue and my spelling was the problem. She had no understanding or compassion whatsoever. I was made me feel like a complete foul. Has completely put me off dealing with Edinburgh Clinic ever again.

Dr Kirsty Munroe is a gem of a person. Her expertise, attentive care, and the welcoming clinic environment made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. I highly recommend the Nuffield Health Hospital for any immediate appointments.

This place has a lot to be desired especially in their patient consideration. After 20minutes over our time we asked what was the delay no one seemed to know or even care. A very junior Nurse informed us that they were informed us that they were waiting on a chair Whatever that meant?? After nearly 50 minutes we asked again, the reason was they were waiting for a consultant to show up! Wonder what would have been said if I had been 50 minutes late. Not good enough Nuffield time to consider your patient.

A shame from the moment you enter, I was splitting with pain, the woman who was at the reception had 0 empathy, like the nurse who treated me, I used to find more service vocation in a veterinarian. Yesterday I was with my daughter for an ultrasound in the mother's unit, room S-17. My appointment was at 11:48. I was treated by an excellent professional. I was greatly surprised by his professionalism, empathy, and gratitude for his treatment of my daughter. Same as nurses and other professionals. This is the real reason for being doctors to put themselves in the patient's shoes. I don't know what the doctor's name was, thank you for being such a great professional. !!!!Thank you so much!!!!.

It would be nice to start doing something with the parking spaces, there are few of them, drivers stand where they shouldn't and block the passage of ambulances. The institution itself is great, but due to the ill-conceived parking for so many people, I give it 3*.

There's a good people and there's a very bad people, but the hospital has to make a Training courses for workers to deal with patients and should be attention to patients' complaints. Treated at the old Peter Mac many years ago and it was beyond excellent. But my experience at the new Peter Mac includes a lost referral, lost history, lost blood results, lost u/s results, relevant medication information not given, existing medical conditions potentially impacted by proposed treatment not considered or discussed, and incorrect information documented that contradicts what my GP sent to them AND which contradicts reports from when I was there before!. Trying to get it sorted out - impossible.

Subjected to absolutely disgusting treatment at this hospital. Elective Surgery Manager was rude , terse and has no people skills what so ever. As expected when I lodged a request for explanation the Cancer Surgery Manager chose to disregard key facts and dismissed me completely. Patients aren’t just Medicare numbers . Avoid this hospital at all costs .

The peter mac staff are all awesome from the security and domestic staff to the teams of surgeons and nurses who helped me through the whipple procedure i had back on 15th March . I cant say thankyou enough. The ongoing post operation treatment has also been fantastic.

My mother was treated there 1716 years ago for her mother's cancer and thank God she was saved. They are all very professional. Today he has cancer again and thank God the treatment is giving results and the doctors are loving and excellent professionals.

I can't thank all the staff at The Christie enough. I had a minor procedure with them and during my time there felt truly cared for and supported. I was kept up to date every step of the way, my doctor and the nurses all listened to me, answered questions and I'll be forever grateful for their help!

I cannot praise The Christie too much. Although I'd rather not have to visit there, the amazing team make it so much easier and I actually look forward to seeing them. They are efficient, caring, compassionate, honest and help me so much. If I want to talk, someone is always available, my specialist nurse always gets back to me if I have an issue or need results. Dr. Bartlett and his staff were timely, professional, and courteous. The procedure was performed flawlessly and he kept the mood positive and humorous.

Want to give a shout out to the nurses and staff on the 17th floor. I was briefly there this past Thursday to pick up my uncle Juan who received treatment. It felt very welcoming and calm on the floor. I am assuming that they were nurses (I apologize if they’re not) as they were sitting in the central location and also running around taking care of patients. When we asked for a wheelchairs, they processed the request with a smile. One of the folks even asked how my day was going and asked about the Buffalo Bills. I know this may sound small but it’s the little things that can make a difference. I had some anxiety coming to visit and was exhausted from my 8 hour drive to get here, but all that went away when I entered the 17th floor of this hospital.

The nurses, admin team, patient care team I have no complaints about. I dread thinking how the doctors here have handled my Dads care since the very beginning of his AML diagnosis in April. To begin when he was initially admitted, he received his chemo and was discharged with oral meds that he was told to keep taking upon going home. Doing some basic internet research we discovered he was taking the meds for 20 days longer than he was supposed to. We had a teledoc visit with his doctor, she described it as a “misscommunication” and that he indeed took it weeks longer than he was supposed to. Also during this period, he was doing outpatient in New Jersey and never had any follow up from his doctor until weeks after discharge his initial diagnosis. I do not think this is standard. He was discharged with no Oncology follow ups scheduled or anything. When we finally did talk to his Doctor she said to move to a clinical trial that had not been successful on anyone, nor was it even available. She gave him more chemo that did not make any progress towards treating his disease. To say she was hands off is an understatement. I personally messaged about clinical trials that had success with patients with similar diagnosis and subtypes. We were told to reach out to hospitals that had them while she continuously kept stringing my father along without any real plan besides what was already not working. I asked about transplants she said it could kill him, now they have no viable plan as the chemo and lung issues (related) are too much to overcome. I continue to seek treatments for him. In short, I feel like we experienced a 1980s treatment plan, with no creativity or critical thinking applied to treating my Dad. He is a number to (most) of the doctors. They also will scheduled him for blood transfusions once a week on outpatient when he got them daily in the hospital. Extremely frustrating. Their bedside manner was also… abysmal. Offered little hope this whole time and didnt give confidence to other centers that would have been more capable in treating him. I would not recommend MSKCC and wished he went somewhere like Mayo or MD Anderson. Maybe they can be helpful for more straightforward treatment plans, but my Dad has a very rare subtype that made it complicated. Several doctors come off as thinking they are the end all be all of what is known about my father’s disease. Newsflash - we’re all capable of reading studies that show efficacy of treatments but your heads are too far up your own you know wheres to listen to family. They also give off a vibe of thinking they are the Almighty as well and it breaks my heart to see how they spoke to him and how it affects his mood, graces, and personal outlook.

Even though I don't speak Hungarian, I felt very well looked after in this hospital. Very good doctors and the care was friendly, professional, pleasant - my highlight was of course the English-speaking nurse. I only have good memories!

I was on vacation in Paris and was taken here with excruciating & sudden stomach pain. I had to have an emergency surgery to remove part of my large intestine due to a twist - or a “volvulous”. I was kept in the emergency waiting room overnight- part of the night in an empty hallway- with pain so severe that I almost fainted several times. I was certain I was going to die because I didn’t know if anyone would notice if I lost consciousness. The nurses and doctors I spoke with told me “we will come back with pain medication” but hours went by without seeing anyone again. Almost no one spoke English. I was terrified and traumatized. I would give this hospital 0 stars, HOWEVER. Once I got into surgery, the doctors were kind to me. I was crying quite a bit and they calmed me down and played music for me. The surgery went well, and I obviously survived without complications. I feel so grateful they caught the twist and operated on me within 16 hours of me being there. They did save my life. I don’t know who is reading this and if you are considering going here, but try to go to the American hospital if at all possible. I hope you get the care you need and deserve. Do not expect nurses there to care for you like nurses do in America.

Decent if you need urgent help. Extremely unhelpful staff in the registration desk, was told “you’re in france, speak french” after I asked them if they spoke English. The hospital felt very dirty and the waiting room was a chaos. Other than a long waiting time for non-priority cases, the care was acceptable.

I was just severely hurt by the staff member pictured here at emergency. I came in anxious and stressed about my condition. They were only meant to be checking my temperature in my ear but he did so forcibly it hurt me so bad, it gave me a panic attack. Then when I said something I was screamed at in French. I will be contacting a lawyer.

On November 21, 2023, I underwent knee arthroscopy. Heartfelt thanks for any help, care, advice and, above all, the professionalism of the doctors, nurses and staff on duty.

On November 24, I was at the emergency clinic. The approach of the nurses and doctors was very professional and humane. Thank you for everything and I wish them good health and patience in their demanding work.

I was there in the emergency room with my 1 and a half year old son when he cut off his belly on his finger. We didn't wait, they took us right away, there were wonderful nurses who calmed me down too. They played songs and sang to their son while they sewed up his finger, and there were also students trying to cheer him up. Before I left, they also packed bandages, gauze, etc. if I needed it at home. I was very surprised by the approach and I'm glad that I came across a great shift.

1 star only because the examination took place. The appointment was scheduled for 3.50 p.m.... The lady told me to arrive at 3.30 p.m. and I went in for the examination at 4.20 p.m.... no information about the delay... no help and no information during registration and how to fill out the documents... .

I wholeheartedly advise against visiting Mrs. Zofia Jamrozik-Kruk. The doctor is so rude that it's not worth talking to. The whole visit had a very pretentious tone, and let's not forget that we come to the doctor for help, not as specialists who should know everything at the door. The irony with which the conversation was conducted and the final lack of diagnosis, and all this for PLN 200

Dr. Motruc and his team was very professional and helpful every step of the way from the beginning of the consultation to the final procedure. He has years of experience with respect to cosmetic surgery and always keeps the patient's best interest front of mind. I fully trust his judgment and I sincerely recommend him to anybody!
