Technical actions must always be based on philosophical concepts. Thus, in 1985, the doctors who would become members of the then Instituto Cárdio Pulmonar signed a document entitled: “Purpose of Shareholders”. In this document, it is recognized that the success of the ICP would be based on customer satisfaction, through differentiated treatment, from the dynamics of care to the care in the quality of the medical service provided. In view of this pact, each partner committed to seek the integration of the forces of people and circumstances, seeking productivity and the generation of material and moral wealth. Success would require dedication and discipline at work, simplicity and humility to resolve conflicts that, if they arise, should be seen as learning opportunities to overcome them and bring the group closer and closer to the goals of Instituto Cárdio Pulmonar. These purposes remain and are expressed in the organization's mission and values, permeating all its levels. At the end of 2017, complying with the 2018-2021 Strategic Planning Cycle, our values were revisited. As a result, they began to reflect essential elements of our organizational culture: An even more humanistic Mission that places the person (history, desires, health) as a central element of care, respecting them as an individual; Assistance that will only be sustainable through operational efficiency; Care guided by Ethics, Quality and Safety as premises . We continue to understand that it is our commitment not to leave the cold, but necessary, health technology, to compromise the warmth of human relationships, an indelible mark of good Medicine. In this way, we seek to develop this awareness and attitude, permanently, in all those who work at Hospital Cárdio Pulmonar.

Expensive parking. I left my car at home and came by Uber/99, better to help a family than to be exploited. My mother was at the emergency room, they didn't give her the R$12.00 parking ticket, because they said he was going to be hospitalized, they only give it if the patient stays in the emergency room until 6:00 am. I went to get the Ticket they give in case of hospitalization, they didn't want to give it to me, because they weren't sure if they would accept a companion or would have a room with a companion. I've never seen a place want to charge so much for so much parking. My mother came in here, taking 24 hours fasting To do an endoscopy, I still had to listen to a sermon from the infirmary, as I went to ask for information on my Mother's hemoglobin. Saying that they only give information 11:00, that they cannot repeat information. Never seen it.

My father was hospitalized for 5 days there last year. The hospital structure was more modern than before. The staff are generally attentive, but I had a few problems: 1. The corridors where the hospitalization rooms are located looked like a fair because of so much commotion. The employees talk loudly, laugh loudly without respecting patients and companions. We're not going to the hospital for a vacation. It's stressful for the family and it's not comfortable to sleep in a hospital!!! Even at 2:00 in the morning I could hear the staff laughing and talking at the ward reception in the corridor. Absurd. Lack of education and compassion for those who are suffering. 2. Companions also have to reduce the volume of their voices in the corridors. They need to put up notices in the hallways or guide them. If you want to talk loudly, go home! 3. My father spilled water on the floor so I asked someone to come and mop it up, but no one came. I asked again and nothing. I ended up throwing the bathroom towels on the floor to dry off. My father could be at risk of slipping at night. I have already spoken to the administration and I hope that these situations have improved.
