We were on a walk in Santa Marta in December, from the hotel they sent my dad to the Avidanti clinic for emergencies, they treated him and did their respective exams and they immediately transferred him to the ICU due to his situation. He was in the ICU from December 17 to January 2 and the care was excellent, Dr. Intesivita Chima, very cordial, professional and attentive, the nursing staff very friendly and the guard very cordial. Then I go to the floor until January 6, and it was possible to show that the attention in the medical processes is slower, it is necessary to be attentive so that the specialists pass and it would be recommended that some nurses be more professional and attentive to their work because in On one occasion they put an antibiotic on him wrong, they left him watering, so we went and they weren't there at the nearby nursing station, we searched the other one and they were dancing and eating, we told them and it took them more than an hour to go and organize it. It is understood that they can have their spaces, however I consider that there are situations in which the health of the patient is paramount, however the attention by two other nurses was excellent.
One aspect to improve in the clinic service is the communication of the patient's report with the ICU, since compared to the institutions in Pereira, in Avidanti it is only at 11:00 AM and you must wait another 24 hours to have more information about the patient. If they call, they don't say unless they're stable, they say they have to wait until visiting hours and they hang up. I understand that the medical team should focus on providing the best care to patients and should not be answering calls, but at least on special dates they should allow a video call, because in our situation my dad was conscious and hearing or seeing other relatives It would encourage him more, as well as a call at night from the clinic giving a medical report would generate peace of mind for the caregiver.
Finally, we are very grateful for the processes, treatment, and kindness of most of the Clinic's collaborators. It is worth highlighting once again the care of Doctor Chima, the nephrologist Edwin, Ángela the head of dialysis, the watchman Perera and we do not remember the names of several nurses but we are infinitely grateful to them, since we were not residents of Santa Marta.

Everything went pretty fast and the team seemed
Professional, the doctor came to check on me couple of times and I could really feel she cares. It’s a pretty good hospital for South America standards .

It is impossible to communicate in the city of Santa Marta , the contact information is not correct and any option that one chooses in the commuter will be rejected . It is incredible that an institution like this has this bad service, zero interest in patients
