he Hospital San Vicente Fundación de Rionegro is a private, non-profit entity, born from the hands and experience of the University Hospital of San Vicente Fundación in Medellín, a centennial entity, pride in health for Colombia, which sought expansion to a territory that would allow it to continue fulfilling its mission in other municipalities of Antioquia and would open its doors to people from the rest of the country and the world who needed its services to improve their quality of life and would look to this human team and this technology, the well-being that, due to some health condition, has been affected. My wife, Ruby ( a Colombian national), and I designed and built a beautiful finca and retired in El Retiro, Antioquia, in October of 2016. Our first experience with this wonderful hospital began after Ruby fell on the rocks at a local waterfall, sustaining a serious blow to her head. From the first moment after a late night race to the hospital, Ruby's headache worsening with associated vomiting, and our frantic arrival at the emergency room entrance, I was amazed and grateful for the expert and kind attention to our needs. An attendant with a wheelchair rushed to our car and assisted my injured wife promptly into the clinical area. I hastened to park my car and arrived five minutes later to find Ruby had already been placed in a bed, had been assessed by the clnical staff and necessary tests had been ordered. Having worked for nearly fifty years in the U.S.A. medical profession, I had experience by which to judge the standard of care my wife received. In a word, the entire experience was superlative! The professionals who practice their art in this institution of healing are angels. Words do not exist to convey my heartfelt appreciation for the excellent service we received that night. Ruby's CT scan was normal and the physician spent a lot of time reassuring us and instructing about what to look for and symptoms requiring a repeat evaluation. The clnical area was pristine and quiet, Ruby was well-attended by both nursing and medical staff, and our initial impression of the hospital was oustanding. Over the ensuring months, we have used this institution for various outpatient visits, diagnostic examinations and physical therapy and have continued to regard this facility most favorably. terrible attention, those who attend in the emergency room are not doctors are nurses, if it is a holiday, forget, my son was left waiting for 3 hours, he was attended by a nurse not a doctor and told him that the radiology operators were not because it was festive day, with terrible pain and also told him that they could not give him anything for the pain, they sent him to another hospital with an appointment scheduled for 1 AM at the morning, my son went to his house and waited 10 hours for the appointment, they were from 1AM in the morning until 11 AM and they never called them according to the other hospital they never called to make the appointment they just told them this is this hospital to leave and not attend them, my son has SURA insurance terrible atencion , las que atienden en urgencias no son medicos si no enfermeras, si es dia festivo , olvidese , a mi hijo lo dejaron esperando 3 horas, lo atendio una enfermera no un medico y le dijo que los operadores de radiologia no estaban porque esra festivo, con un dolor terrible y ademas le indicaron que no le podian dar nada para el dolor, lo mandaron para otro hospital con una cita programada para la 1 de la mañana , se fueron para la casa y esperaron 10 horas a la dichosa cita, estuvieron desde la 1 de la mañana hasta las 11 AM y nunca los llamaron segun el otro hospital ellos nunca llamaron a hacer la cita solamente les dijeron esto es este hospital para que se fueran y no atenderlos, mi hijo tiene seguro de SURA

I paid for an Antigen COVID test and haven't received the results from the examination even as they promised to send them within 3 hours to my email address and provide access on there website! On requests I couldn't reach anyone. Thats fraud and should be a 0 Star Rating!
