My recent experience at this medical facility was incredibly disappointing. Despite paying for the premium plan, the service was incredibly slow and disorganized, and the communication was almost non-existent. The nurses and security staff were consistently rude and unhelpful, making the already stressful situation even worse. We had to ask multiple times for updates on the patient's health status, and even then, we were met with angry faces and a lack of information. It took hours before we were given a decent status update, which was an awful experience. I hope that this facility can improve their customer service and communication skills to better serve their patients in the future.

It was a horrible visit. The nurses and stuff are not professional at all. Went in to get some exams done and just because they did want to they didn’t do it correctly. I don’t recommend this clinic.

Due to malpractice, a great doctor died when he was only admitted for an appendicitis operation, the operation went wrong and it became complicated. All for a hospital without a well-sterilized and clean room to do their operations.

Very professional in patient care and attention. Currently they are one of the few hospitals that has prostheses for knee arthroplasty. They have a very good rehabilitation service. The facilities are very clean and permanently disinfected.

Just was released yesterday after being admitted last Thursday in need of a pacemaker. My husband and I were so pleased with our experience. Dr Marlon and Dr Francisco from the cardiology department were amazing. I was treated very well. I will be forever grateful.

Terrible (i.e. no) pain management after severe accident. Got also pain chock due to rush in changing linnen. As I chose to be operated at my home hospital (one of the top three hospital in pelvis operations in the whole World) they got upset and delayed my ambulance flight with a day (by not filling in papers on time). You can imagine the cost of having an ambulance flight waiting for you one extra day..

It is a hospital with very good facilities and good medical staff. It is noticeable that they are trying to improve many aspects, but they have failures at the level of internal logistics, since they frequently drop hospitalized patients hours in advance for diagnostic imaging and other tests, clarifying that in the waiting room for Imaging diagnostic rooms have air conditioning, which ends up making some patients more sick; The truth is that in this regard there is a great deal of disregard for patients and a great lack of organization on the part of the hospital. The emergencies of this hospital are chaos! The disrespect towards the patient is total, you must stay 3 to 4 days in the emergency room under undignified conditions so that they give the patients a bed there is a doctor Moros who is the head of the emergency room and the man does not appear! Rude guards that don't know medical status but won't allow access or questions to medical personnel. This goes for guards outside and inside. Doctors do not provide status to patients and send students to relay status. Students can't answer questions. Poor communication and follow up by all personnel which have led to 3 wrong diagnosis by doctors. Once realized we asked and the staff blamed the family members of making up stories and medical visit history missing information. This review is based on the past year with various family members appointments and emergencies I am basing my rating. This rating applies to various areas: emergency room, intensive care, critical area, and maternity ward.

Hands down, one of the best hospitals I've ever been to. Within minutes of bringing my dad here, the entire team was assisting him with his high blood pressure and symptoms of a stroke. The staff is very friendly and attentive. It's important to keep in mind that this is a private hospital, so if you don't have insurance, they will ask you to deposit a certain amount of money into the account. Make sure to mention that you are self-pay. So they can bundle everything up into one packet. I was so impressed with the ability to be able to just walk down to the administrative office and ask what my balance was and get that information within seconds. It is worth every single penny they charge.

I was a patient her for 2 nights and it had truly been one a the better experiences of being at a hospital ever. Staff was attentive, cleanliness was amazing and the over all experience with my surgeon was amazing! Highly recommend! Coming from the USA, this is like being at a 5 star hotel!

I was in the emergency room on August 4, 2023 and I have never been so well attended. The entire nursing team is very dear, welcoming, providing humanized care. Emergency services won’t take a sick 13 years old child as a patient. So please beware of this strange rule and don’t take your youngsters there. Very strange rule. Should be advertised widely so one wouldn’t waste their time on a case sensitive situation. Be good to communicate this on company’s website.

Please dont ever seek treatment here you are better of at a veterinary. Went here cause my girl friend got an bladder infection and it was hurting more than it normally would. They scared us to death with all these possible rare conditions she might have and do everything they can to do as many scans and tests possible. After all the ultrasounds and MRI they tell us they did not find anything and they give her a prescription with a rare intramuscular antibiotic(she was already 2 days in to a normal penicillin cure) the doctor tells us to stop taking the cure she was on and get a shot everyday of the intramuscular one she prescribed. The fun part is after that i went with my sick girlfriend around rio to try and find a place that has this medicine and can inject her with it but no pharmacy or public hospital was willing to do it. So she went without antibiotics for 2 days, only for us to go back to this hospital for them to change it to an oral one. So long story short we spent more then a 1000 euro's and 2 days trying to get her help and she only got more sick and ended up with the normal antibiotics we started our journey with

I'm only impressed by the price. My doctor was inexperienced, replied badly to my questions. They hardly speak any English. They did not give me the x-ray I payed for. Unprofessional, but overpriced.

Terrible hospital! The reception on the first floor is the worst I have ever seen. Disgraceful service and attitude from employees. I spent almost an hour waiting to be seen by reception and it was after the exam time. The receptionist told me very harshly that I wouldn't be served and I showed her the time I got the password, 58 minutes before! She got up, stamping her foot and only answered me because she had no choice. The service for booking exams is even worse, if anything.

Failed to admit me, despite my being covered by my international insurance. It seems they are pricey for walk-ins, and the experience is not exactly awesome. I went over to Hospital Beneficiencia Portuguesa for a way faster, cheaper, more attentive care. Recommend you do the same.

Very good hospital!! From parking, reception and emergency room service. Polite and willing people to help and practice their profession well. My father was in the ICU surrounded by a multidisciplinary team who welcomed him very well. Everything clean and organized. It wasn't difficult to talk to the doctors, as they were there when they visited the ICU and then in the room. The reception has very good service, I cannot say the same about the service provided by the doctor on duty at this hospital, she is disrespectful towards the patient! I felt that the Doctor didn't know what she was doing, the impression she gave was that my fiancé was a laboratory mouse! At the first consultation he was teased and in the end they prescribed ibuprofen and if the symptoms persisted, he would see a specialist. As a student, I was always welcomed by hospital professionals, especially for admission to the hospital. However, after some changes at the hospital, there is a DISTURBANCE with students, delaying our entry and jeopardizing our classes at the hospital. I write this evaluation with great regret, as it is a reference hospital, we students expected more respect and not the treatment we are receiving lately. Unfortunate. Second, due to the delay of the reception staff, my group and I had to miss 30 minutes of class!!!

It was a great experience! From the gate to medical care, I was treated very well. I had to take my 3 year old daughter to the pediatric emergency room and unfortunately I experienced racism from the first contact with the doctor asking me if I was the mother, because my daughter was white. This hospital is terrible!!!! I had an ear problem last month and I went to this hospital that charged me for a consultation without first telling me that they did NOT have an ENT doctor available who could help me (even after having gone through the screening), and now even having spoken to the ombudsman, they claim that I was notified, which is an absurd lie. Good afternoon everybody. My 18 year old daughter was hospitalized on 10/06 with teratomas on her ovary. A huge scare, because we went to the emergency room with suspected kidney stones. We were very scared and very worried, but I would like to record here the excellent and extremely humanized care provided by everyone, without exception, at the hospital. My daughter had recently turned 18 and so I couldn't sleep with her in the hospital, imagine my despair and worry? So, in addition to never being hospitalized, she had to be alone. But, all (without exception) the nurses, receptionists, doctors, were very careful, loving, attentive and caring. I would really like to remember everyone's name (and I recommend that the hospital look at the days of this shift to really recognize these professionals from 10/05 to 11:20 pm to 10/08), but I was very nervous, but, I remember Carol, Kelly, Luana (in the emergency room), Dr Manoel and the team that successfully performed the surgery to remove the teratomas on my daughter. I've been seen in the emergency room a few times in 2020. and 2021 22 or 23. Terribly, my elderly father, 86 years old, with shortness of breath, spent more than 6 hours waiting and couldn't get help, he gave up. We all know that the nursing profession is highly responsible and requires a lot of attention from this professional as it takes care of human life. We all know how much excessive heat harms attention and the quality of service, whether in any area, but especially for those who need to take care of their health. life, as is the case of technicians and nurses. It turns out that the corridors on the HED bed floors do not have air conditioning for employees, with temperatures above 40⁰ in the summer, these poor professionals are forced to work dripping with sweat, sometimes even with deconcentration and their memory fails, and they can come making mistakes unintentionally due to the strong heat in the corridors, wrong medication for patients, etc. Patients have air conditioning in their rooms, but the corridors and other facilities where technicians and nurses circulate do not have air conditioning. This is inhumane and those who can pay the price for this are the patients since the HED administration sacrifices its nurses by not providing the basic things that are the appropriate temperature to work, how can you work in such heat? How to concentrate? So every time a family member is admitted there, they will be cared for by professionals who are under strong pressure and heat.

After waiting for 2 hours, our daughter was called to help and, to my surprise, they didn't allow the father to go up, they let the mother go up alone with a 10-month-old baby and three bags. Lack of space, lack of planning, lack of training or lack of humanism? Unfortunate...

Terrible hospitalization, few employees, they make the patient do the work, you need to call or ask for sheets, pillowcases, bath towels via QRCOD, I asked for a bathtub so I could bathe my baby, it took more than an hour to arrive, the employee who brings it the bathtub cannot bring towels, the patient needs to use the hospital system to request towels, sheets, pillowcases, hygiene items... and 1 item at a time, in an order you cannot, for example, request sheets, towels and blanket, you have to order one item at a time for the companion and the patient. I am the companion responsible for my 5 month old baby, I also have the flu, I requested hot water to make tea at 10 pm and they told me that the kitchen in a HOSPITAL does not work at night, I have never seen this, an emergency room, a patient in hospitalization and not having hot water. They serve 3 meals a day, breakfast at 7:00 am, lunch at 1:00 pm and dinner at 7:00 pm, during these intervals if you want to order something via app, you cannot go down to reception to receive it, no one at reception can go up to bring your food and no staff can look at your child who is hospitalized for you to go down to reception for 3 minutes to receive the food, you are forced to go hungry or buy it at the hospital cafe. My rating for hospitalization is terrible, if I need it again I won't come back here, good accommodation but the system is terrible service, not even a public hospital is that bad.

I would like to thank all the staff at Hospital São Lucas for their service and care. I arrived with what seemed like a simple cough and had to be hospitalized. I am extremely grateful to Dr.Thiago Soares Gomes for his diligence and prevention in decision-making, and to Dr.Filipe Miranda Bernardes for his constant monitoring. When an X-ray was not enough to detect the true cause of that cough, they did their best to clarify the picture so that today I am better and continue with the necessary care. We were treated with incredible affection, the nurses took care of the patient and companion as if they were family. I had orthognathic surgery last week, the entire team that attended to me during the 4 days were extremely dedicated. Mainly the nursing technicians: Juliana, Rebeca, Nice and Denise. When I was discharged I was afraid I wouldn't have the same care at home, but I needed to free up the room lol.
