Excellent service provided by the person at the clinic, from the person who does the cleaning, to the sales department that provides excellent guidance throughout your process or if you have any questions they are always on hand. In addition, the facilities are very modern.

They sent me from Qualitas there to check the car I had, they denied me access and told me that the only one was in the center. I had the worst experience at this hospital, first they lied to me about the waiting time for my lab results. They asked me to come back in 6 hours for my result and before they told me over the phone that it was gonna be 3 hour wait. Then I called before the 6 hours to ask if my results were ready the lady said she sent me the results through email and that they were normal and I that I don’t have to see a doctor. I believed her and we proceed to return to USA after I opened my email for results and I saw my cholesterol level in red I called the hospital and they told me I have to see a doctor because they can’t read the results only a doctor. They wanted me to set up another appointment and waist another day in Tijuana. I asked for an appointment over the phone and they said because I was a first time patient a have to have an in person appontiment. I don’t agree with this because they lied to me on everything, they don’t even help you or guide you when you’re there in person. These people only care about your money please don’t go over here. I regret having my test on this place they are not transparent and not professional at all. 😢

I’ve been coming here regularly for almost 7 months to treat my tumor in my hand, I’ve hand multiple surgeries and each one has been successful and quick. The border medical pass is a huge perk which eliminates the need to wait hours in line to get back to the states.

My father was hospitalized for a complication of the bile ducts, in general the hospital is exaggeratedly expensive for the service offered, the facilities are old, the staff that works there and does everything possible to ensure that the patient stays longer days to charge more, Since it costs approximately $25,000 per day, I do not recommend it in the least.

The worst clinic, my grandfather was admitted there for a stroke, they charged for medication that was not even relevant, the devices and facilities are super old, the nurses, especially the intensive care ones, were very despotic and rude, there were bedbugs in the waiting room. The only thing they care about is getting paid and making sure August.

What I am going to write is completely real, my grandfather was left to his own devices when he was hospitalized, he was about to be discharged and then he died, there is no use there, the worst clinic that exists in Aguascalientes, don't go there. I mean seriously, besides my grandfather is not the only one who has died due to the negligence of the doctors there, also one of my mother's uncles, or they were poisoned and there was even evidence, but my mother's relatives did not want to get into trouble and that is why They did not report. They should close this "clinic" Apart from all this, a day at that clinic can cost up to 15,000 pesos.

My husband recently had spinal fusion surgery at the hospital. There are so many great things about this hospital, but other things that need improvement. First of all, Cristina, in admissions is wonderful. She speaks perfect English (a huge bonus as my Spanish is basic) and she's extremely thorough and caring. The pre and post op care was also amazing. The hospital rooms are huge, with English TV stations and the accommodations are quite comfortable. Most of the staff (nurses, aides, etc...) are also very caring individuals. What didn't go so great is: (1) At check in we were given the rules of the hospital which requires a family member to be with the patient 24/7. This should be given in advance as we had to scramble to get a dog sitter. (2) Cristina, in admissions, asked us what we had been quoted for the procedure. This is something the hospital should already have, and in the end we were charged almost 23,000 pesos for the hospital's surcharge on the titanium metal used to fuse my husband's neck. Basically, the corkage fee for the metal to enter their hospital. We were not told about this by the doctor who gave us the quote. (3) Most of the nursing staff was great but some would let me husband's IV's run dry with alarms going off. This would cause them to come in and run saline solutions through the line which was a bit painful. When I'd go to see why the nurses had not responded to the IV alarms or our pushing the call buttons, they'd just be hanging around the nursing station. (4) Discharge was a traffic jam. The doctor said we could leave around 10:30 and that the bill was ready. I went to the nursing station to inquire and the sent me to the "caja" (cashier) downstairs who told me it wasn't ready yet so went back to the room and waited 2 hours until I finally went back to the nurses stations and requested someone who spoke English to come talk to me. After that, it finally got finished and delivered an hour later. All in all, a good hospital experience but if they are going to try and market to expats and wealthy individuals, there are many kinks in their system that they need to work out.

Very professional, clean hospital with caring nurses, doctors and entire staff. You don't feel like you are in a hospital in terms of decoration, environment and even the smell. I had an operation and was taken care of really perfect. Can not thank you guys enough. More than 5 ⭐. ( There are also many doctor offices on the upper floors which my doctors were too. My husband need to see another specialist so it was so convenient. The laboratory works perfect too. All in 1!)

Hands down, one of the best hospitals I've ever been to. Within minutes of bringing my dad here, the entire team was assisting him with his high blood pressure and symptoms of a stroke. The staff is very friendly and attentive. It's important to keep in mind that this is a private hospital, so if you don't have insurance, they will ask you to deposit a certain amount of money into the account. Make sure to mention that you are self-pay. So they can bundle everything up into one packet. I was so impressed with the ability to be able to just walk down to the administrative office and ask what my balance was and get that information within seconds. It is worth every single penny they charge.

I was a patient her for 2 nights and it had truly been one a the better experiences of being at a hospital ever. Staff was attentive, cleanliness was amazing and the over all experience with my surgeon was amazing! Highly recommend! Coming from the USA, this is like being at a 5 star hotel!

Bad place to go to an emergency... They pick you up whenever they want and they don't attend to you... I arrived at 10 pm... My sister was treated for kidney stones in August and we signed a document agreeing to pay $13,800. When we got home, our credit card was charged $38,000. We have made numerous attempts to speak to the hospital, no one has responded. They sent a credit card receipt that clearly shows that they forged our signature and are still demanding payment. Terrible money scam. People were nice, but not professional. My mom had a heart issue and was sent here by Xcaret Hotel Mexico (this is a partner hospital with the hotel, says something about the hotel too). She was given EKG and blood test, which was charged 1300USD. The emergency doctor couldn't give any diagnosis with these results and wanted to refer an internal medicine doctor to continue with more procedures (for more charges). The whole time we were there there was no monitor of vital signs, the IV stopped working. We ran away without continuing with any procedure. Stay away from this hospital if you can!

My son hurt his knee pretty bad after landing awkwardly trampolining at our resort. He couldn’t bare weight on it and had a lot of pain so we researched a few local hospitals and decided on Amerimed based on some of the Google reviews. We were not disappointed and so glad we picked this one. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and got us in, x-rayed, meds and a knee brace for 6,500 pesos/ $400usd. We were out within 90 minutes. I am an American on an extended vacation here in Mexico City and I saw Dr Luis Villalobos Perez. Hands down he was the best doctor I have ever seen in my fifty years of life. He truly took time to discuss my health problem and my history and he gave me a thorough physical exam, I feel like I have not had an actual physical exam since I was in high school. It is such a blessing to have found Mediland! Great staff, clean and modern facility in a beautiful neighborhood Don’t hesitate to go here if you are sick!

Absolutely horrible service. My father broke his arm and we had to wait like 10-15 minutes just checking in. And then they gave him a terrible cast and diagnosis. We had to come back to the US and go to our local Kaiser Permanente to get actual care for my dad. Please avoid this place, especially if you are visiting from the US. We have used the services of Valmar Hospital, including surgery and emergency care. Could not ask for better service and care. Having so many specialists at one location is so helpful. Received excellent care from Doctors , nurses and staff.

Horrible service. Showed up here with a case of Food Poisoning and was turned away because my symptoms were "similar" to Covid-19. The front desk person told me to wait outside, didn't even ask me simple questions such as if I had a cough or shortness of breath and after "speaking with her supervisor" told me I had to go to the General Hospital because Velmar was "full". Such a lie! If it was full, why wasn't I turned away when I first showed up? I went to Clinica San Fernando after and was seen by a great doctor there. My cardiologist and urologist have their offices at Velmar and I will let them know I won't be able to attend our appointments anymore at this hospital, because they deny service to people in need.

I asked for a minor consultation here for a fall I suffered not too long ago, thinking that I was going to break the bank for the service I was going to get. Not so, it seems. The doctors and staff here were friendly and helpful. So I definitely recommend coming here, even if it’s for something minor. Better safe than sorry.

Terrible facilities, the room we paid for without heating, the chair old and hard, the recliner broken... a 29-inch television located almost on the ceiling of the room. I’m an American, living in San Francisco and accustomed to high level of medical care. My father developed an infection and the hotel recommended this hospital. Great experience. Very clean, modern and professional. Similar to an urgent care in the US. You pay out of pocket but prices are relatively reasonable. Everyone speaks English. I wasn’t sure what to expect so hope this review is comforting if you need to see a doctor while traveling.

While on a dive trip to Cozumel, my husband became seriously ill and was hospitalized at Costamed. He received excellent treatment. This review is about the patient services people, particularly Jesus Pineda and Israel Cuerca, who were so helpful. My phone would not work and Jesus let me use his phone to contact my bank. He was a very calming influence at a trying time. All the staff was kind and helpful but these two stand out, especially Jesus.

Hosp de la familia (Terror story) Hospital de la familia : Do not go here unless you want yo die!! My experience at the hospital : Right as we walked In they take us into a small room asked for the money! Our money got taken, immediately . I mean as soon as we walked in $5,950 +580. We were sent to the waiting room, the fear kicked in immediately as we were left in the waiting room watching this woman Maritsa leaving with our money. I was in tears ! Scared out of my mind thinking we had just been scammed! Soon they came to get us to bring us into room 212. The dresser was old and faded , so was the blanket and the dinner tray. I was so terrified that every time they took my blood pressure it was extremely high! My blood pressure continued to be high as Martiza kept getting defensive, talking over us and defending her unprofessionalism and her greedy actions . She did not try to be sympathetic or understanding. She made sure to talk over us, making sure we didn’t get heard , and that only what she wanted to say and wanted done being the only thing was being accomplished. My constant fear of being scammed I asked for receipts for all the money that had been given to her, she was annoyed at the fact, and stormed out! I was taken to a room where more test were done . The surgeon came in poked at where he wanted to work on. They wheeled me into the operating room. I woke up with no surgery done at all! When I woke up I was asked by a man in the operating room with a terrifying look on his face if I couldn’t remember what happened? I told him no! The other doctor in the room with the almost same look but more of fear & concern, said SO YOU REALLY CANNOT REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED?? Once again , I told him no, I wasn’t being told what happened instead they all were terrified!! I was wheeled back into the room where my husband was waiting for me. There my husband asked me if I knew what happened? I told him no, but he had the same look of terror in his eyes. He then told me I had died . The surgeon told the nurses to get him where he proceeded to tell my husband that there was a complication and that my heart stopped after my larynx closed on me and that they had to preform chest compressions and that I was brought back and was stable , that as soon as I could get enough of the anesthesia to ware off , I would be brought back to my room to him. They then told him they only got to make the holes for the operation but no operation took place and they could not operate due to the “ complications “ They brought me back to room after that my surgeon Dr. Sariana disappeared completely! We never saw him again. There was another surgeon called in and he was the one we delt with . The consultation service group disappeared with my money . Sent me charges that now doubled my original quote. Now I have no surgery and my money’s been stolen due to their negligence. But I’m being charged due to the hospital not wanting to discharge us and said we must stay a extra nights here! Even though we wanted to leave we were told we would not be able to be discharged until the surgeon discharged us and he refused to do so and left us there accumulating charges for extra nights. When I was finally discharged the nurse said they had destroyed the vein where I had my IV and said no fluid was even going in anymore it was just all accumulating in my body. I was able to make a stop payment for the cashiers check that the consultation company wanted to keep even though they didn’t preform my surgery. They kept $850. Dollars I payed them in cash . But now they are charging me for the hospital stay I didn’t have a choice on, and I want the hospital to know that this whole experience has been a night mare. These people that you have working in your hospital are scam artist and I hope you think twice before you let portofino consulting do this to any other poor women who put their trust in this company. I came to this hospital in October 2021 to get a tubal reversal. We made the decision to go to Mexico for surgery because of the cost compared to the U.S and I don’t regret my decision! It was clean, professional, and comfortable. The doctor who performed my surgery explained everything to my husband and I thoroughly and even showed us pictures. Although I do recommend taking someone with you if you can, who is bilingual because some of the nurses and I had trouble communicating since I don’t know Spanish, luckily my husband does and was able to translate things though. Maritza was the person who facilitated the appointment and was very responsive, she even met us at the hospital on a Saturday (the day of my appointment) to check us in. Most importantly though my tubal reversal was successful! I’ve had an hsg procedure back home in San Diego which confirmed this. I have not gotten pregnant yet though but I’m hopeful it will happen soon.I just wanted to share my experience to any other person it may help.

I highly recommend anyone who is thinking of having a sort of medical procedure this is the place to have it done. I am over the moon with how well I was treated by not only the nurses and hospital staff but Dr. S, Dr. Mariana, Penelope and Maritza were exceptionally wonderful to work with. I had weight loss revision surgery and could not be happier. I will be going back at some point for plastics. Thank y’all for being so good to me and my mom.

I put five stars just so everyone can see this Dr. Jorge Eugenio Valdez Garcia who works at el Zambrano hellion is doing research with an implant in my eye and he is harassing and threatening to have some one shoot me and has hired someone to stalk me and that person has been breaking in to my truck and has been stealing from me he is trying to scare me they grafted the implant in my eye without my consent and he has been doing research with my eye for several years now!

What a shame that in a Hospital like San José you cannot buy a catheter and emergency medicine at the Pharmacy. As a town pharmacy, it was closed at midday because the person in charge “went out to eat.” AND THERE WAS NO ONE TO ATTEND. A Pharmacy in a hospital in broad daylight must be open so it is a good idea to have another person stay to serve while someone else goes out to eat.
