The level of nurses is high compared to other hospitals! I think this is a trustworthy hospital because the doctors explain everything in an easy-to-understand manner. After paying the bill, I realized that my change was a pin note every time! I don't want to have to take care of you again, but if I do, I think this hospital is the best!

My elderly mother, who is 86 years old, underwent surgery to replace an artificial valve. The reason why I went to a different hospital than the first time was because I judged her to be at high risk due to her age. I was looking for a heart specialty hospital that performs many surgeries and ended up here. It was a little far away, but people came from Shimane and Tottori prefectures, so it was still close. The surgery was a great success. However, there were some difficult times due to complications, but now, almost half a year later, I am doing very well. The reception desk is efficient, and although the doctor's office is quite busy, the examination and payment process are smooth. Everyone is relatively kind, and I feel that the hospital is well-trained to handle the situation properly. The surgeon was also wonderful.

About a year ago, I underwent heart valve replacement surgery.The doctor gave thorough explanations and the nurses, even though they were all young, treated me with great care. Even patients who complained due to stress were treated with sincerity. When I was in the ICU, the assistant doctor had to take me to the bathroom every hour in the middle of the night because of the diuretics I was in. When I apologized, she said with a smile, "Don't worry about it, it's fine!" I was able to spend my time with peace of mind. I am very glad that I had the surgery at this hospital. Even though the food is low in salt, there are about 3 side dishes, so I think it's satisfying.

I visited Wooridul Spine Hospital in January 2017 and treated for Posterior Foraminotomy C6/7 and also PELAN at L4/5. Prior to coming in to Wooridul, I had been suffering terrible neck pain for 5-6 months prior to visiting Wooridul and have visited 3-4 Doctors in Singapore and Indonesia, went to 2 Chiropractors, etc with no result. I was lucky, I was referred to Dr. Sang-ho LEE and decided to go to Wooridul Hospital. I am very impressed with the whole procedures from the time I entered the hospital until I was discharged 4 days later. The surgery, done by Dr. Sang-ho LEE and Dr. Keum, went very well and I was out of the hospital like a new person. The equipment is first class, all nurses are very nice and professional, and while I was there, Ms. Sujung Lee was always ready to help. She is a very nice person. High professional and very careful stuff. We were for gastroenterology surgery which was very successful. And what a surprise when you can enjoy classic music on piano at level B1. Great location and very important thing that they are assisting you to get gorgeous rooms right other side of road in 4* hotel. Highly recommended for treatment, surgery and diagnosis.

Traveling from the US had to go to the ER for a severe ear infection. We were in and out in less than an hour. Super organized, clean, friendly staff (most spoke English or had a translator for us) and handled the issue. Pharmacy was at facility too. They even scheduled a follow up appointment in a few days. Completely satisfied and thankful that this was a stress free visit.

Don't get rehabilitation medicine here. The local general hospital is better. They see patients as money pots.

Does not accept CignaGlobal outpatient insurance. Tried on numerous occasions to get me to pay direct. I had them flagged by my insurance company and they will be reviewed as to whether they will stay in-network or not. If you have outpatient global insurance, I would advise going to a hospital which accepts it immediately with no question asked.

I visited emergency section. Really attentive, caring and professional people working there. Everything was tracked and done on time. I could see that nurses were really tired because of high number of patients, but they stayed calm and tried not to let patient recognise it. Good hospital, recommended. Service deserves the price.

Ever since he was broadcast on TV Tokyo's Cambria Palace, he has become a famous doctor among knee patients and is known for his very careful surgeries. I am very satisfied with the results. This hospital also seems to be famous for its rehabilitation department, and I received encouragement both physically and mentally. Very nice hospital with top surgeons and friendly nurses. The rooms are nice and some have a swell view of the ocean. There are busses that run from the hospital to various places in Chiba and Tokyo.

I use it regularly for obstetric examinations. Personally, I am satisfied with the male doctor's treatment and explanations. I get the feeling that the female doctor is irritated because she's in pain and doesn't seem to have any time to spare. Many of the midwives are overbearing, and the nurses are unfriendly and cold, so I hate every visit. Even if there's something you don't understand, you don't feel like you can ask for advice. Even if I could do the job, I don't think I'd be a good person.

I was admitted to the hospital to undergo surgery at an otorhinolaryngology department, but I felt uneasy about the quality of the nursing care (cooperation, response, and skill), so I canceled the surgery and was discharged the next day after admission. A 5-month-old baby fell off a chair and had a swollen head and went to the emergency department at night. I was asked to fill out a medical questionnaire and when I went to hand it over, I was told to wait until they would call, so I was unable to receive it. However, when I told her that my baby had hit her head and was crying and that I wanted to speak to a nurse as soon as possible, the person at the reception desk said there were a lot of people around, as I saw around her. One point tension. There is a triage room, but it takes an hour and a half until you are called there. What is triage? Isn't it for determining priorities? I ended up waiting two and a half hours to see the doctor. I don't want to go there again.

Until now, I had only seen average hospitals in rural areas, but the medical technology here is amazing. Terrible hospital. I had an appointement with the Immunology department, because I may have an immune disease. On the day of the appointement, the Immunology department cancelled our appointement and referred me to their Dermatologist, who couldn't help me either. I was told that the Immunology department, who specializes in IMMUNE DESEASES, didn't know what my immune disease was. Imagine not knowing what you work with everyday. The Immunology department is just a massive bunch of incompetent people. They probably slept during their studies, just like the rest of University graduates in Japan.

Came in for an emergency as I broke my leg. They failed to administer any pain killers and insisted I keep moving around between different beds and wheelchairs. The staff kept making jokes and laughing in Japanese, all while I’m in serious pain. The doctors were all young and inexperienced. And it was clear they didn’t want me in the hospital, as I, a foreigner, would be taking up a bed. It was about their convenience, not about treating me. In my entire life, I have never experienced a worst doctor or worst treatment. Telling other doctors, Canadian and Japanese, of what transpired always results in shock. The surgeon at another Tokyo hospital was completely confused at how I didn’t get any care as I developed blisters from necrotizing skin (a major emergency). The doctor at Tokyo University Hospital told other hospitals administrative staff what I had wasn’t an emergency and so I couldn’t see a doctor at other hospitals, even when I said I had increased pain and discomfort. I had to go to a clinic to get a new referral to actually get treated. Even the city help line, which originally told me to go to back to Tokyo University Hospital, changed their mind after speaking with the doctor. This hospital and the sadistic doctor have literally permanently scared me. I was lucky to not lose a leg due to their complete and utter inhumane treatment.

This is the worst experience I've ever had in my seven years living in Taiwan. The nurses and all the staff at the front desk (emergency department) are the worst and very slow!!!! I literally cried in pain because I had an animal stuck in my left ear but they still had a lot to ask about my condition like getting fever, nausea, vomiting, etc.. Even though my boyfriend was with me and said he would help with everything but just please get the animal out., they didn’t care because “that’s the procedure”. Very bad attitude. I just hope this has nothing to do with race or anything.

A top tier medical center in TW, there are good team work practices for tumor / cancer diseases and there are modern equipments for therapies and treatments!

I went to see an OBGYN at NTU because I had been having pelvic pain for about 2 weeks at that point. I'd felt similar discomfort before when I'd had an infection, so that was my best guess. The OBGYN did a very perfunctory pelvic exam and declared it couldn't possibly be an infection or related to the gynecological area because it didn't hurt when he pressed externally on the pelvic area, so I left with no treatment. That night, I had to go to the ER for stabbing pelvic pain and bleeding and was diagnosed with a bad pelvic infection. In summary, would very much recommend Taiwan Adventist Hospital's OBGYNs (called specially to the ER - so thorough, caring, and efficient) over NTU (for gynecology anyway).

I was at the start of a month long vacation and needed an emergency spinal epidural. I met with the neurologist, Dr Chang, who was able to perform the procedure the next day. This was probably the best medical treatment that I have ever had. And the cost was $172 USD. Here in the US, the same thing cost over $2k. I highly recommend this hospital.

Outpatient review. Was looking for a specialist and was disapointed. They only care about money, the MD doesn't even speak fluently english. But the main issu is that they are not concern by problem. I wasted my and my own money. Just go elsewhere. Avoid

Very nice hospital with English speaking staff! the director of the urology department was super nice and spoke fluent english! If you are not from China and have any problem in Pudong then go straight there with o hesitation! They provide private medical service from as low as 1200rmb!

The attendant and receptionist at the cardiology department in the heart Institute is totally disappointing. They are not coopertive and their attitude is so poor (attendant for room 1 and 2), particularly if you are a foreigner.

The staff particularly attendant and receptionist are non professional with prejudiced opinions. As a patient you pay so hefty amount for treatment but because of staffs behavior you end up with stress and anxiety. However the doctors attitude and attention to patient health problems are commendable. But its the staff behavior that make us reluctant to visit again.
