For more than 2 weeks I have been waiting for the laboratory results of my daughter who is less than 2 years old. “We will call you” was an important test since she has been there many times. Very irresponsible

I had a emergency where I had to get surgery straight away to repair my broken jaw,Unfortunately my insurance didn't go through so i dont know who I'm angry with.
I was waiting two days in one of the bedrooms until some bald guy in a white coat entered my room asking me for €3400 in card or cash, I thought it was a nightmare but I didn't wake up.
He explained to me that I was not covered by insurance and that I should start making payments, I went down to the office and they confirmed he was in my room asking for money,
The result was me getting up in the worst state to go sort out my insurance so that I could get my emergency operation done a little later and be covered by my insurance so that Inkasso won't chase me for like €30.000
Note that nobody at this point told me to stay in hospital get your jaw fixed first and sort your insurance out later because they can back track everything, instead I was set into confusion when they asked that I pay them cash or card.
I was there for two days in the worst pain and didn't receive surgery but a bill for £3400 which was not covered by my insurance
I left the hospital and sent all the rest of my documents to AMS and OGK and sorted my insurance. Later I arrived at hospital to find out that they checked me out automatically and wouldn't treat me straight away.
I was sent home and a swelling started to occur on my face where I realised that I was sent home with a medical emergency so I went back to the hospital as soon as I could and eventually they accepted me back.
I spent from 29.10.2023 to 15.11.2023 waiting for my jaw treatment, after the swelling went away they decided to give me the operation and they told me the waiting time is because there where other patients in need more then me and I had a swelling.
Now I'm recovering from my surgery but I'm not sure if my surgery went one hundred percent correctly, the results are yet to come.
The point is if your not Covered by insurance stay in hospital regardless if they start asking for cash or card and sort your insurance out later because if you leave the hospital you might not get the treatment you really require
being a Austrian citizen won't help you get the free medical treatment you really need if you don't have insurance.
However they must treat you if you have a medical emergency and you can get it sorted out later.
Also Google maps didn't let me post this information so I wrote it in English let's if they block this info this time it's not right people shouldn't of gone through what I went through at the beginning when I had a medical emergency.
My wobbly jaw was waiting to get repaired but I was plagued by the though of no insurance and having a struggle of my lifetime as a result.
I was promised an operation from day 1 but ended up having it on like day 16
Long waiting times for operations beware make use you have insurance but if not stay in hospital and get your insurance sorted out later if I'm wrong let me know
Anyway it's like day 20 after my injury and spent like 18 days in hospital, regardless of how my hospital stay started I come to a realization that I was treated very well at this hospital and I'm thankful for my surgery and all the hospital stuff for taking care of my issues
I had a bad start because my insurance was not going through but however the operation did go well, after my wound heels I'll have to go to a specialist to see if they can straighten out my jaw so that I can have a better smile.

During the vacation I had some complications with my pregnancy and I had to go to the hospital urgently.
The waiting time was less than 30 minutes. In Belgium, sometimes it can take 3 hours, it depends on the problem. I was hospitalized at the gynecology department.
The staff was very nice, very caring. The majority speak English very well. The conditions in the hospital are very good and the food was ok.
Thank you for your care!

I wanted to tell you that I’m very disappointed with you and your clinic. Now, after my father’s death and Mr. Suta’s (the patient from Targu Mureș) also I’m convinced that you are guided only by profits and you are not concerned about the wellbeing of patients. We have sent you translated medical reports, pet CT’s and other imagistic investigations, blood tests and you didn’t even have the decency to look over them and tell us it’s not worth making the trip giving how advanced was their condition. You could have done what the doctors from Szeged hospital did for me and say that there is nothing you could do for my father and with regrets I cannot take your money and leave our country with a negative perception about our medical services. They said that because they looked over the investigations I sent them. But no sir you were too blinded by money and we were so desperate to save our fathers that we believed you.
Shame on you. I guarantee these are words well thought and not said in anger.

I was diagnosed with serous ovarian carcinoma and after resection of the carcinoma by a Romanian doctor, director of a private hospital in Bucharest, in a boundless desperation I contacted the best clinics in the world, specialized in oncology. The commercial representative of the WPK hospital, Mr. Alexandru Pop, was the first to contact us and was the only one who convinced us to buy tickets to Vienna. We had all the appointments made by the minute, he walked with us and empathized every moment. Thanks to him, I got to the best specialist in gynecological surgery, the most wonderful woman who rushed all my procedures in order to be able to proceed with the surgery. In the worst moment of my life, when I read despair on the children's faces and I felt helplessness and frustrated, this wonderful woman, , Prof. Dr. B. Schurz, gave us a chance. The hospitalization period was 8 days and I received the best care possible. The staff was by far very professional and very empathetic, as well as the nurses. I felt treated like a family member. The sales representative came to me twice a day, called me and asked me all the time what else I needed or if I was satisfied. Because of my diagnosis, even if I came at the very early stages, I will still have to proceed with 6 chemotherapy sessions with one of the best oncologists in the world, Prof. Dr. Zielinski. I recommend the clinic with great confidence.

We were in an emergency situation where we were informed to reach the BDU department. Unfortunately it was the wrong department for the treatment which was needed but the BDU department saw to it that they won't even touch the patient who is in excruciating pain. They didn't even try to give the patient some kind of pain medication. After an hour we reached the right department and they were in horror to see the patient and surprised why the BDU department didn't do anything. Thanks to the urology department, we got the right treatment on time but the negligence of the BDU department and how they shrug their shoulders off is something I had to write here. I hope no one else goes through this..

The worst hospital that anyone can go to. I have no idea why the emergency reception is like this. I went there with a bad situation and I had to wait a couple of hours to be visited by a doctor. It's really funny how the situation is like there. Unfortunately, there are not many options in the city when you get sick during the weekend ie Saturday. At first, I went to the med campus and they said the only option is this hospital. After a couple of hours of waiting my condition got worse and I decided to come back home. Just go there if you are about to die otherwise staying at home is much better.

Hospitals should hire more suitable doctors. In my opinion, clinics that deal with sensitive things, where patient has take off their clothes when required, there should be male and female doctors. Because not many people feel comfortable having to undress to be examined by a doctor of the opposite gender. Also there are many cases that the docter is not doing what he should do.

I had the most horrible experience in the gynecology department here, my house doctor told me to go to the emergency room and when I got in for my consultation the doctor told me my problem is not an emergency and that there are people who actually need help. It was my first time seeing a gynecologist and she asked me if I have been before and I said no because I was not financially able to ever before and she almost laughed at me and said „no doctors in your country?“ she was clearly bothered by the fact that I asked her if we can speak in English. After she consulted me she said she can’t give me a diagnostic and than gave me a prescription without a diagnostic. She made me feel very uncomfortable, she made fun of me and where I come from, made me feel like I am not worth helping even tho my house doctor did. That woman should not be a doctor of any kind she was horrible!

We were in the children's hospital last night with our 10-week-old daughter and were really excited. Of course it was to wait but that's the way it is now.
The doctors and the nurse were super nice and took really good care of our mouse.
Our mouse obviously felt good, despite being in a really bad mood. During the examination she made the whole team and us smile and laugh.
We felt very well cared for.
Thanks!

We can only report positive things about our time here. You felt very cared for and the entire team is extremely competent, motivated, courteous and friendly.
It is important to me to mention this and thank you for all your efforts.
Thank you very much for your support.
All the very best.

Thanks!

apparently, this poor guy took the high speed rail all the way from 台中 to see the doctor only to find out that the doctor in question took the day off or something and the hospital didn’t even notify him that there was a substitute doctor instead. given that it was the same doctor i was scheduled to see, i can confirm that it was indeed a different doctor, but she was perfectly fine for my needs. it is, however, really scummy that the hospital didn’t notify its patients of this swap, and i would have expected far better of a private hospital.

Referred over by a small clinic that had already provided photos of the issue - I waited an entire six hours in a wheelchair unsure if I was still hemorrhaging internally while they lackadaisically ran a few tests and at the end I wasn’t even sure if which nurse/doctor was in charge of my case and just sent home with meds. I give a one star because I’m still alive but to wait six hours in an EMERGENCY room is ridiculous.

I went to see an OBGYN at NTU because I had been having pelvic pain for about 2 weeks at that point. I'd felt similar discomfort before when I'd had an infection, so that was my best guess. The OBGYN did a very perfunctory pelvic exam and declared it couldn't possibly be an infection or related to the gynecological area because it didn't hurt when he pressed externally on the pelvic area, so I left with no treatment. That night, I had to go to the ER for stabbing pelvic pain and bleeding and was diagnosed with a bad pelvic infection. In summary, would very much recommend Taiwan Adventist Hospital's OBGYNs (called specially to the ER - so thorough, caring, and efficient) over NTU (for gynecology anyway).

I was at the start of a month long vacation and needed an emergency spinal epidural. I met with the neurologist, Dr Chang, who was able to perform the procedure the next day. This was probably the best medical treatment that I have ever had. And the cost was $172 USD. Here in the US, the same thing cost over $2k. I highly recommend this hospital.

Impossible to contact doctors offices by phone. Ordered tests without telling me. Asked for referral to hand surgeon and they sent me to shoulder specialist. Asked for referral to ear doctor and they sent me to throat doctor. Did multiple tests on heart and all good but they are ordering more tests. My first bad experience, I have been admitted here several times and my stay had always been good, until today that I already have 6 days admitted with my son here we had a double room where the first nights I was touched by very decent and respectful people, the last two nights I have been touched by a couple with their son who leave the light on until late at night, they spend the day in phone calls and with a very inadequate tone of voice, the husband stays to sleep and has an awful snoring because those that are very difficult For me and my baby to have rest time! I talked to the manager who didn't do anything, I don't talk to people or take the delicacy to even see if she could move us to another room I don't care if it was with another person maybe they weren't as indecent as these which the sick people have told her that please if they can keep their composure and they don't even change! The truth is that I would have liked to have another person to help me and be more condescending with the situation, because I have seen empty rooms since last night even double, but according to the person I spoke they were not available! I'm still here and I can't take a break! As a hospital you need to put some rules like do not let man stay at least in double bedrooms, do not permit loudly noise in the room and for the residents on the rooms to keep respect to others and peaceful space appropriate for recovering!

My sister had surgery at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. Her surgeon called me at 11:14 to report that she was out of surgery, and that the recovery room staff would be in touch when we could see her. I did not hear from the recovery room, so I called them.
The desk clerk rudely told me that the nurse would call.
It is now 2:50 - almost 4 hours since my sister left the OR, and I still have not heard a thing from the recovery room nurse. It is inexcusable to treat family members in this way. In addition - they have a one way texting app for communicating with family members - useless, apparently, because they don't use it. I understand nurses can be extremely busy, but it only takes seconds to communicate to worried, waiting loved ones.

Seems like a reliable place but at 5.5 months pregnant I went to receive a regular check up and it ran me $400. Also, there were tests done in that checkup from blood work. Still have yet to receive any results from the blood work. Also I specifically told the doctor not to tell me the Sex of baby as it’s a surprise & we were doing a gender reveal and she laughs in my face and says “It’s a boy…It’s not a surprise anymore” Ruined my gender reveal for me & my son with 0 sympathy. If I could give no stars I would this place is absolutely horrendous. My husband is paralyzed and they leave him in his bed no attempts at physical therapy nothing to actually care for him. They did a Foley catheter because it was too inconvenient to do his straight catheter. They leave him ignored at the end of a hallway. The environment is dark and dingy. The parking is a whole other issue on its own. It takes 20/30 minutes for him to be attended to after pushing his call button. Absolutely horrible place I do not recommend sending your loved ones here. Before my dad passed we sent him there in hopes that they would take care of him and treat him well because he was very very ill to the point of needing 24/7 care. But, we were terribly wrong the rooms were absolutely disgusting and not being cleaned even the chairs had so much build up I had to deep clean them and the room. The bed they had him in as well was gross and sticky. I unfortunately had to do their job and clean his room everyday. I unfortunately had to also monitor his colostomy bag because they would let it get so full that when they would finally clean when i asked that it overflowed and spilled on the floor. I had help them clean it up because they left it for hours and took them and hour and a half just to get the bag in the first place after i asked them to remove the old filled one with a clean new one. The list goes on unfortunately. In his stay there he also got bed sores i would ask them to help move him often and put pillows under him so that he wouldn’t get bed sores and they never did. The hospital he was at before this was osu. Every hour or two like clockwork osu’s staff would turn him and put pillows under him so he wouldn’t. PAM failed to do this even when I asked especially when I would leave they slacked at taking care of him. I had to move him myself some so that he wouldn’t be uncomfortable. He was in the hospital for months unfortunately and later passed. I’m here 4 months later after his passing to share this because I don’t want this to happen to anyone again. My father didn’t deserve to be treated the way he was at PAM especially being a veteran that served for our country.

They took excellent care of my momma! In a time when time was critical the staff was very quick with their response time. My momma was able to return to her home in a very reasonable amount of time. With out the care and dedication of the staff here she would not be back home with us.

My husbands best friend has been in the Pam Unit for 2 months. Not once was the room cleaned. Floors were so dirty. They would leave their trash laying in the room and on his bed. There was one RN nurse who was meanest uncaring person I have ever seen! They have now moved him to a nursing facility over 4 1/2 hours away that has awful reviews. It is so sad how people treat sick patients 👎🏻 they don’t even deserve a 1 star

DO NOT BRING YOUR FAMILY MEMBER HERE!!
If I can give this place 0 or negative I would. This guy named James is a liar, and this lady Rose will not listen to you and dismiss you!
Was on hold for more than 20 minutes, since my brother didn't receive his dinner. This guy named James put us on hold and confirmed that the patient finished his dinner but did not record it, 2 CNAs couldnt remember what food was served or what the patient ate. Spoke with the visitor that was there and confirmed that there were no food.
This lady named Rose, who is the charge nurse after answering the phone told us (without listening what we have to say), that she just gave him a sandwich and some fruits. Mainly to shut us up..
Why did they lie to us and confirmed just to get us off the phone??? They didn't even apologize. If they lie on this little thing, makes me wonder what else they could be lying. This place needs to be closed down or need to replace all the incompetent staff.

My dad has been at PAM's for a little over 2 months and is set to transfer in the next few days. This facility is AMAZING, and my family and I are blessed to have had my dad here. He had a stroke after having a double bypass surgery with 2 valves replaced and was transferred to PAM's. This facility has treated him and us like family and truly taken care of him as if he were their own dad, brother, or uncle. PAM's is extremely clean and has tons of staff that are willing to help! My dad is my world, and it was extremely scary when trying to choose a facility for him to be moved to, and if PAM's is a choice, choose it!!!

This place is an absolute nightmare. One person stood out above the rest and that was Ronnie the CNA. Holly the chief of nursing is a joke and only gives false sense of security but she doesn’t follow through. Most of the nurses are nice, some of the CNAs are helpful. There is absolutely no communication with staff. When you bring up concerns they are brushed under the rug. If you ask a question no one has the answer and they point blame to the next. They bring people in here to die here. Illegal things happen in your loved ones rooms, and the so called chief of nursing is aware. If your loved one is a respiratory patient and on oxygen or a ventilator I suggest you move them to another hospital and fast. I highly suggest if you have family in this hospital you need to be there at all times and keep a close eye on everything they do. They don’t actually care about the patients or the families, they care about the money. Even the staff have made comments that it’s all about the money to this place. Absolute disgrace to the medical community and the sick patients who need actual care and kindness. Ronnie keep doing what you are doing, you are an absolute angel and do not let these people change you. We need more people like you in the world!

While I appreciated the procedure being done my beef is this places billing department only affords you 6 months to pay your balance. So even tho I have insurance through my place of employment and reached my déductible prior to surgery, and even though I have been making payments monthly for the remaining 20% ... if my balance isn't paid in full within 6 months their "policy" is to send it to collections. Now I was offered 'financial assistance' IF I submit two or three years of taxes, plus several paycheck stucs. (So basically all of my personal information) which is not only time consuming but also invasive.
I'm just a single gal trying to make ends meet. I needed the surgery to prevent further complications down the road so I elected to have it done. Perhaps I missed information prior to getting the surgery? But I NEVER thought that even though I am paying monthly a fair amount towards the remaining balance that I would STILL be threatened with having it go to collections.
And just for that reason I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Period

The Nurses, CNAs, PTs, & Staff were all AMAZING!!! My mom had knee surgery a week ago and our experience there was great!! Everyone was kind and helpful from admission to post op. I can’t remember everyone’s names but I did take some down! We loved how kind and helpful her nurse Kaylani was!!! The most important part to us was having a Spanish speaking nurse on staff. My mom only speaks Spanish and it was so comforting to us knowing at night she was left with someone she could understand and communicate with! Thank you to Josephina and Nasthja for taking such good care of my mom! The physical therapist, Ruth is incredible!!! My mom adored her and made us feel confident about taking her home!! Special thank you to KASS, CNA!!!! She provides excellent patient care. Spine and Joint hospital provided quality care!

Im a true believer that we are all captains of our own ship. Life is what you make of it. However some circumstances are influenced by others. I was really worried when the doctors at Carolina East suggested that my brother who had been on a ventilator for 16 days and critically ill be transferred to PAM in Rocky Mt NC. Reading reviews only scared me more. However nothing there was working and he was slowly dying. After much prayer and research we ultimately made the best decision of his life. Only after 4 days he is eating and walking. A total miracle. When we first got here I was a little skeptic. Everything seemed old school and I wasn’t sure if I had made the right decision. But within hours I felt so comfortable confident and at ease. These people are so nice and caring. Like every hospital they have some that aren’t as good as others but for the most part we have not had a problem yet. The doctors and therapy teams are absolutely amazing. This is the first facility that encourages family members participation. They provide a place to sleep with your love one and meals all at no cost to the family.A shower and private bathroom was in our room for our convenience. My brother has been sick for over a month and for the first time I am hopeful. Thank you PAM y’all have been awesome 👏 😊🥰

My brother received excellent care last month. He was only there for about two or three weeks but the care and overall service he got was exceptional. During dinner time, we were offered dinner (which was delicious). His Second Floor nurses not only attended to his physical care but addressed his overall well-being too. This was instrumental at how fast he got better.
Thank y'all again for taking such good care of him.

Our loved one was at PAM in Sarasota for over a month in respiratory rehab. The entire team was excellent. They were professional and compassionate. The environment was clean and welcoming to visitors. By the time my parent was discharged we knew a lot of staff by name and had gotten to know some of the staff through their friendly conversation.

From his admittion to his discharge, our experience at PAM was excellent. Staff members are professional, kind and caring. It was easy to obtain info and speak with my son's doctors, nurces and case workers. Everybody showed a great deal of concern for the well being of my son, and we both felt that he was safe and in good hands there. My daughter, Katherine, was in a severe car accident in our home state of Arkansas. She was airlifted to OCHSNER LSU and then after she was stable she was moved to PAM. She had a severe brain injur, both wrists were broken, her left knee messed up. She had a feedingtube and a traciautomy even though she could breathe on her own her oxygen levels had to be monitored. The staff was very kind compassionate to us. Constantly telling us not to give up hope. We were there from October of 2022 to January of 2023. I was able to stay with my daughter overnight. I can't possibly name everyone on staff that helped us. Cheri, was wonderful in helping getting all of my daughters paperwork for her transfer to TIRR in Houston. I didn't have to worry about filling out anything, she took care of everything. The physical therapists were wonderful. Even though she really couldn't do anything they worked her muscles just about every day. Julie, Jessica, & Betty y'all are just awesome. And the nurses and nurses aids. You ladies & gentleman have all my thanks and respect. Y'all helped me as much as you took care of Katherine. Wound care y'all were awesome. The doctors that came were kind and understanding. The respiratory ladies & gentleman were wonderful. The janitorial staff were excellent, her room was cleaned everyday . I just can't thank you all enough. This place is HORRIBLE!!!! Half the nurses & staff are horrible & just there for a PAYCHECK not because they care and have a passion for what they do!!!!! My mother was at this facility and let me just say she's worse today than she was when she went in. Observed one nurse on fb, another watching a movie, and the other one texting on her phone. When did the state board of nursing start allowing these things to go on in a facility?? Room was dirty and half way cleaned!!!! Can't tell you how many times the call light was pressed and it took them 30-45 mins to come see what was going on. My mother fell twice out of the bed. This place is awful understaffed and most of of staff are under qualified they were a few good ones my husband was in diapers and I could not get him changed he got blisters on his lower half I started trying to get him changed at 6:15 went to the nurses station at 7:00 after call 4 times and finally at 7:45 they came to change him and treat his blisters which made me decide to post. I was taking him outside at the hospital which help his mind after a liver transplant and I could not get anyone to help me get him in a wheelchair here. I would not leave my dog here
