Triple pelvic osteotomy in 28 Orthopedic surgery clinics in United Kingdom

I had a minor procedure yesterday and was very pleased with the care I received. From the friendliness of the receptionist, to the person who escorted me to my room, the gentleman who served my food, and especially the nurses (particular thanks to my nurse for the day, she anticipated my needs beautifully, and provided accurate information when required). The theatre staff were efficient, and chatty when I needed it. Many thanks to you all! (From an NHS employee of 40 years)

I attended a pre-assessment appointment. While finding somewhere to park was difficult (I should have left longer to find a spot), my appointment was administered by Crista in a professional way. Everything points to a well run service, and I’m confident I will be in safe hands.

I felt every member of staff that attended to me were so lovely, taking time and care to explain thinking without rushing. Sue who was one of the nursing team was exceptional, kind and caring and I enjoyed our chats. The young doctor I forget his name but he was from Romania was extremely nice and came across very caring.

I was very pleased with the whole experience and professionalism of all the staff. I was made to feel relaxed and this relieved any nervousness I had, very well done and thank you to all who dealt with my treatment.

I have nothing but praise for all the staff involved in my treatment and stay at the Winterborne. All staff were extremely nice and caring and I felt I was in good hands. Even catering were exemplary and the few meals I was able to eat during my stay were superb. Well done everybody at Winterborne.

I am a vegetarian but because I came as a NHS patient I did not know if I could have different food but the chef came in and said she could do whatever I liked .She was lovely and so was her staff always making sure I had enough to drink and eat.They treated me the same as their private patients. I had to stay a extra day as I was having problems with my blood pressure which they did not mind after my hip operation which was under the NHS. They were kind, caring, polite and nothing was to much trouble it was the best hospital I have ever stayed in .All the staff from every department are a credit to circle health group.

I am being treated by Dr G Perera and nurse Paulina at Syon Clinic. Dr Perera is really thorough in explaining procedures and treatments necessary for my ailment. I had minor surgery and the nurse who accompanied Dr Perera was Paulina. She was really pleasant and so very helpful. Also very thorough, double-checking my bp which was quite high when she first took a reading. She also explained all that i was having done in full detail so that myself and my husband fully understood. Im very happy to recommend both Dr and nurse at Syon Clinic. I would also like to say that Dr Perera's secretary Cherie is amazing. Thank you for all your help.

Hemant, the nurse who took my blood, was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and efficient. He got my blood straight away whereas a lot of nurses struggle to find my veins. Thank you

I had a health screening at Syon Clinic, the nurse and the doctor were very friendly and patient to my questions and concerns. Doctor Seng is professional and he provided a lot of advice to me regarding how to have a healthier life during the consultation session. I would recommend any other people who is looking for a place for health screening.

I had a good experience with Dr Carlos for MRI scans and follow-up appointments. However, the billing team and administration is very unorganized and has caused me a huge amount of stress and suffering. I am a full yinsured patient and they have been unable to submit my invoices to correct insurers, failed to communicate with me when my insurance companies have missed something, and start chasing down payments of plus 2 years old using debt collection agencies. Beware, stay away from the Schoen Clinics as they are very unprofessional. Have never experienced anything quite like this. In April 2023, a debt collection agency contacted me saying invoice over due with Schoen Clinic. I was shocked as my insurance company should have settled this 1 year ago. Cigna subseqeuntly settled the bill quickly on my behalf once I took lead on it. To be clear, I never recieved one piece of communication from Schoen Clinic saying the bill had not been settled by my insurance company and they went straight to debt collection agency even though I have a long history with the clinic as an insured patient. In November 2023, I get contacted again by a debt collection agency. Schoen were unable to tell me in April 2023 that there was also £175 invoice and a fee of £100 that had not been paid by Axa in 2020. Clearly at this point I am losing all hope with the Schoen Clinic and am insulted that they would raise these trivial amounts via agency this long ago. I struggle to even remember what they are for, have not recieved invoices and to make matters worse you cant even contact somebody in person to talk to about it.

Absolutely terrible. Didn’t help my knee at all. Left in the waiting room for 50mins for appt. Then I apparently had £12 bill outstanding. I had a baby. Then I find out they’ve passed the £12 bill to a debt collector who has rolled it up and added a load of fees.

This review is for the administration, not the health professionals, which I will post separately. I attended for a consultation on 14th March and paid an invoice that day which I was led to believe covered everything. At the end of July I was chased for an outstanding invoice of £400 for two x-rays which was supposedly raised on 15th March. I queried it, but to no avail. And only today have I finally received the actual invoice, 5 months late! In view of my being originally misinformed and the delay in providing the invoice, a small reduction? Not a chance!

I had knee meniscus arthroscopy surgery at RNOH hospital in Stanmore (via the Private Care Unit) and I was truly satisfied with the results. All of the staff were genuinely amazing in helping me feel welcomed, relaxed and taken care of. ***FYI, I found this hospital through the NHS hospitals reviews website as being the best in the UK when dealing with joints issues like mine.*** Special thanks to Dr Chethan Jayadev (my surgeon) and his team in the operation theatre. Also special thanks to the Senior Nurse Sima who made sure everything is prepared and ready for me before and after the operation - she was amazing in every given moment even when I was leaving the hospital she made sure I can hop in the car in a safe for my knee way... I mean wow it does not cost much to be nice to others. Frankly speaking my experience as being positive matched with the reviews I read about this hospital few years ago. It is nice to see that they are keeping up with the reputation and level of service. I wish you very best if you are planning to go for a surgery at this hospital and I am sure whichever path you choose either funded through NHS or though Private Health Insurance Provider you will be treated very well - saying that as I had the opportunity to see and experience both pathways and levels of treatments. ❤️👍

I would like to say a big thank you to mr Cullen and his team, the doctors,the nurses. You all have made my stay on private care very comfortable The food was nutrition lovely food well balanced menu which you can choose from every day The cleaners even helpful the rooms are bright colours really beautiful and well kept clean I really can't fault private care Thank you all so much for your wonderful care I received in here after having my ankle fusion

I recently had a spinal procedure under the care of Mr Leong. I am extremely grateful for the level of care and attention I received, from being offered alternatives before I was ready to take the plunge with surgery, to the surgery itself and after care. It was lovely to feel complete faith in my consultant but also to hear other doctors speak so highly of him. The whole team at RNOH were so helpful and attentive and I am truly grateful to Mr Leong, for his kind & caring attitude and for getting me back on my feet again.

Wonderful level of care from the pre op assessment all the way through my stay. Each and every member of staff I came across truly cared and did everything they could to make me and my stay comfortable. Also very welcoming to my partner who visited everyday.

My whole experience at Shirley Oaks was the best I could have expected. I was a patient at Shirley Oaks when it first opened in the late 80's and it has since then become my hospital of choice. From the senior nursing staff to the catering and housekeeping staff, everyone of them where extremely professional, caring and friendly. I enjoyed my stay on the ward. Many, many thanks to all who looked after me.

Following on from my left elbow replacement I had all of my post operation physio carried out by Hannah at the Sloane Hospital in Beckenham. Hannah was very attentive, understanding of my limitations, listened carefully, managed and monitored my progress and was very warm and friendly. Everything about my day surgery was absolutely perfect from the moment I arrived until the moment I went home. In addition to being very skilled and professional, every member of the Sloane Hospital team were kind and caring. I never thought I would feel 100% relaxed on the day of an operation. I would highly recommend day surgery at Sloane Hospital to anyone who needs it.

Alison, Becky and Anne were amazing and made me feel comfortable. My anaesthetist and his assistants made me feel extremely calm going in to my surgery too. Andrew J Prior did a great job it couldn’t have gone better. Very grateful!

I will most certainly consider signing up to private health care following this experience. I was made to feel welcome from the moment I entered, and I was provided with top care at all levels, from receptionist, to health care assistants, to nurses, to the doctors. A real credit to health care. Even when I was struggling post-op, I was never felt to be a burden.

Wow! What Can I say.. Excellent. From The Moment I Arrived At Reception Till I Came Home The Staff Were The Best. As I Am A Very Anxious Person I was Very Worried Going To Have My Cataract Done But Everyone Was So Lovely It Put Me At Ease. I Cant Thank Them Enough. Recently I undertook a course of physiotherapy at the Cavell hospital for a knee problem. My physiotherapist, Finlay McDonald, was excellent. He has a friendly yet professional approach and I had the utmost confidence in him. He is a good listener and my treatment plan was agreed between us. Needless to say my knee feels much better. Thank you Finlay.

After waiting 3 hours for my procedure I felt very rushed out (I was not given the correct appointment time). Whilst sedated I was woken up to call someone to collect me. I hadn't eaten for almost 24 hours and no liquids for 6 hours but I had to ask for some food and was given a small cup of water. The consultant did not speak with me afterwards so I left not knowing what to do next. I was asked if I had any questions but was too drowsy and distressed to answer coherently. The cannula insertion was horrendous, blood everywhere I've never been asked to lift my arm before to stop bleeding. At this point I was fainting; nausea, profuse sweating and briefly unresponsive. I hope the room was cleaned thoroughly as there was still blood on the chair when I left.

I went to The Cavell Hospital on 16th October for a physio after the hip replacement. The physiotherapist Chris was very patient, kind, friendly and professional. The lady at the reception was very considerate and kindhearted! The doctor who operated me was brilliant and the nurses were wonderful. I appreciate the service I've received from this hospital.

I had a very good experience with The Lancaster Hospital. I was shown to my private room promptly upon arrival, all individuals involved in my operation came to visit me before it took place, and the procedure + aftercare has been exemplary. I would like to extend my gratitude to the hospital for making everything as smooth as possible.

I attended the hospital in February 2021 and received excellent help whilst I was there. So when I recently needed and Arthroscopy on my left knee I requested that I could return there for my treatment. The hospital is excellent and the care given is great. I prefer going there than anywhere else because I know how caring all of the staff are, from Specialists to porters they are all so caring. Many thanks for all of your help.

I’ve been to Lancaster before, and I had the exact same care as last time 5Star…. I can’t fault all of the staff, as there motivation, professionalism and knowledge of the job in hand is second to none. I only found the reception desk a little cold, on greeting you, they just seamed a little “what do you want”! Sorry but front of house! Should be the first meet and greet with a smile at least….

All of the staff were very courteous, attentive, well presented, and exceptionally friendly. At all times I was made fully aware of what was going on in preparation for my operation. The whole experience was 5 star. I was very pleased to receive a follow up call following my discharge from the hospital.

From the moment I arrived to the discharge staff were caring, warm, attentive and supportive. Very professional and I felt like they wanted me to have the best experience they could provide. From Professor London right through to the gentleman who provided my food, everyone did an awesome job.

I cannot fault a single thing with my stay at The Lincoln, every single person I came in contact with were just amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for them, they were helpful, caring, understanding and extremely professional. If I have to have another stay in hospital I hope its at The Lincoln. Saying thank you for all the care I received seems really inadequate.

Right from the initial consultation I was informed of everything that would happen ,the service from admittance staff to nurses, anaesthetist and consultants was absolutely magnificent. The staff genuinely could not do enough for me. The room, the food and all the attention offered I would highly recommend to anybody

This was my second treatment. The treatment was very painful and staff in the treatment room were slow to react, despite my verbal communications that got louder. The consultant quickly finished the injection. I only received assistance when I asked some to please raise my knee as I couldn't move and was in pain. Maybe they didn't believe i was in excruciating pain. Last time I had a staff member chatting to me, distracting me. This time there was no friendly chat and no-one next to me. I was embarrassed with the situation and apologised, and although staff began to show concern, I felt it was somewhat delayed. The staff outside the treatment room were very caring, helpful and kind. I was given the after treatment pamphlet but was not told about medication side effects or who to call. It may be because I'd been before but all the same I would have felt better to be reminded.

From the moment Isle of Wight NHS transferred my care to The Hampshire Clinic, the level of communication and care was excellent. I was kept informed every step of the way with extra care and thought about the length of my stay and the need to travel to and from the Island to Basingstoke. When there was an unavoidable delay in my operation, the whole team ensured that it was rescheduled and happened within 12 hours of the original time. When I responded badly to the anaesthetic, the night team were kind and patient, keeping me hydrated and comfortable until I could tolerate fluids. I received outstanding care and feel fortunate that the NHS referred me after being by in their waiting list for so long. It has made me seriously question the benefits of private hospital care and should I need treatment again in the future, is a route I would definitely explore. Thank you to Mr Sethi and the whole team.

I have always had nothing but the best care from all the members of staff at The Hampshire Clinic. They are all , Friendly, approachable , knowledgeable in their field, and caring. I've stayed in hotels and had less satisfactory service.

The staff , nurses and receptionist are all amazing and super friendly . My consultant DR George Goumalatsos is just fantastic . I have had a previous surgery with him in 2019 and I honestly feel I couldn't have asked for a better doctor . I know my road isn't closed just yet as awaiting on some rest result , but he has reassured that we will do another surgery once he has my test results back and help me feel like a brand new woman and free me from this horrible disease. His knowledge is just amazing. Thank you to all at the Hampshire clinic for the great work .

Everyone was very friendly and professional. Everyone that came into my room introduced themselves and explained their role. There was always someone there if I needed them and everyone treated me with respect. It was a nice relaxed environment and I was made to feel very comfortable - maybe too comfortable as it was difficult to pack up and leave!

From entering the Woodlands Hospital to leaving I was treat with the utmost courtesy. Though my needs were few, they were no problem for the staff. My operation went down 1, 2, 3, just like they told me. If I need any surgery in the future I would return to the Woodlands Hospital.

I was very satisfied with my treatment. The only minor criticism I would make is regarding aids to take home after my hip replacement. My letter indicated that there would not be any but I was offered a raised toilet seat when leaving but I had already bought one thinking that none would be offered.

I was looked after from the moment of walking in, taken to my room, the staff were brilliant and explained everything. Your housekeeping team were super, they gave me a choice of food and all was there when I returned from theatre. The anaesthetist and consultant took time to talk me through my procedure and expectations and answered all my questions. I had a very positive experience. Thank you so much for looking after me.

I used the hospital to have the services of Mr Afifi as I was due a hysterectomy due to endometriosis. Katie, his PA is excellent and always on hand to help and support. However, the booking staff were terrible with communication. I received wrong information numerous times prior to my pre op and operation and found myself making daily calls to resolve the matter. I made a complaint to the PA to the Surgeon and still nothing improved. Even on the day of my pre assessment I didn't have all the right information - wrong time and no address. When in hospital the majority of the staff were good however the communication between the nurses was not good and it was clear, as they messages regarding my requests were not been answered. Each nurse told different story for medication and recovery and it took one Healthcare assistant (Marty) to come in and get things under control and a proper plan in place. I only had one night approved by the insurance company and I ended up needing 2 nights due to not feeling well after the surgery. The staff were too focused on getting me out to make space for another patient that I was furious and stressed. I assured the staff that I was happy to pay the extra night and so was my insurance company. I was spoken to by at least 5 staff members to try and move me out when clearly I didn't have the confidence to leave the hospital because of my condition. We normally use another private hospital in London and I can assure that from now on we won't be using Circle Health Group again. The communication overall was not acceptable, the staff on the ward show they are overworked and tired and in turn pass this onto the patients. They are more focused on treating each patient as a business and not as a patient. Overall I was not happy with my experience and going forward will not use your business again.

I can’t fault the care and kindness of everyone who was involved in my surgery and on the ward afterwards. I had surgery two days ago and my surgeon was brilliant, he talked through everything with me and came to personally visit me on the ward twice to check in on me and answer any questions I had. I was admitted to Dudley ward and every single one of the nursing team that were on the ward were fantastic, they looked after me and are so kind and caring. I would love to thank each of them individually as I feel they went above and beyond. I would highly recommend my surgeon and the hospital to anyone who asked me where I had it done.

Everything was fantastic, in particular the nursing staff- Camilla, Marty and Mandy were fantastic. Everyone was friendly and kind and tried to make my stay as pleasant as possible. The food selection was great (even for fussy vegans like me!) I had a few issues after my surgery but the nursing team were brilliant and really went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable and knew what to expect.

Mr Warner has helped me with 4 years of pain and numbness. Elaine in reception was so kind and thorough. Katie and Lisa who completed my admission were also thorough and explained all aspects of my care. Inga from Physiotherapy gave me lots of information to help with my recovery. It's been a week since my surgery, I'm recovering quickly, I'm feeling better day by day. I just wanted to say that I've been struggling with my health problem for several years. Hospitals and GP doctors gave me medicines and advised me to take painkillers. When I was desperate, I changed my GP. he sent me to The Beaumont Hospital to see doctor David Smith who, after examining me without hesitation, said ok, in a few weeks we will do the surgery, now I can finally function like a normal person, a big thank you to the entire hospital for their help and I would especially like to thank Mr. David Smith, I highly recommend it to everyone Beaumont Hospital. this hospital is top 10 special thank you for great help great atmosphere I felt like in a hotel with doctors special big thank you to Jacky, Olga and Kate

Amazing experience from initial consultation to final surgery and aftercare. Surgeon, Anesthetist Doctors , nurses, kitchen Staff are all amazing .Everything explained step by step.Nothing was too much trouble.lovely clean and modern hospital, lovely food. Due to the unfortunate pressure on the NHS it's necessary to have to fall back on private care on occasions. My Mum was in this situation and went here for a joint replacement operation. Impressed by respectful and professional manner in which she was cared for. Building interior itself is modern and completely spotless.

I was looked after extremely well at The Park Hospital, and treated with respect at all times. My room was very comfortable and the staff were always on hand for any needs I had, not to mention a joke or two! The food was lovely, a good choice of menu and always beautifully cooked and presented. So my thanks to all of the staff who looked after me, with special appreciation to Mr Henley and his team who were outstanding.

Excellent team. Everyone were professional, did their jobs with so much care, empathy, and expertise, all with cheerful faces. The hospital is super clean, the best I've seen in the UK. Overall, I I've them 10 🌟 Sending a special thanks to Dr Mamidanna, Nurse Ola, Ana, Kumba and Tia. My meal of prawn and mayonnaise sandwich, vanilla ice cream and hot chocolate was like something from a 5* hotel. Excellently presented by an impeccably clean and well dressed kitchen staff (not sure what they're called in hospital) Please keep up this standard. Thank you.

Yes,certainly. My surgery took place on 17/10/23. I was treated inhumanly on the day of admission. I am a diabetic patient. From the time of admission till the time of operation I was not offered any food. It was almost 3-4 hours without food. I was shivering. once I come back from the OT my husband went outside to buy food for me. Only then I had some food before my release from the hospital. I had an follow up appointment on 28/11/23 with Miss Madi which I have attended. She didn't look into my eye with care. She was in a hurry to finish my appointment. It was less than 2 minute. She was busy with her mobile phone. If I knew this earlier I wouldn't come long way for this appointment as I have waited long after the surgery for this follow up appointment. I will definitely not recommend anyone to be seen by this Consultant.

was a really great process from start to finish. good discussions and advice with the consultant / surgeon. discussion from anaesthetist was very brief but reassuring nonetheless. everyone at the hospital for consultations to overnight stay was excellent. and post op care with physio is great too.
