Opinion on private family natural birth. Premium package. It was my second birth. The first one was at Medeor Hospital in Łódź, which I remember much better even though I didn't pay for it. There I experienced warmth, respect and understanding that was often lacking here. I went to the hospital after 6 hours of painful contractions with severe pain. I was seen by a doctor who from the very beginning called me "you", treating me with contempt. I don't remember his name, but I think he introduced himself as Marek (I think it was Dr. Marek Korożan, but I could be wrong because 2 years have passed since the birth). Based on the CTG results, he said that I was not giving birth at all, but since I had already come from far away, I should go to the antenatal room and go to sleep, and that I would definitely not give birth in the near future. At the very beginning, I felt like an intruder and a bother of four letters. I spent several hours in the room with my husband - of course, not sleeping and fighting contractions. After a few hours, a midwife (Ms. Joanna Miłosz) came and asked if I should be examined. I agreed. It turned out that I was 6 cm dilated and they asked if I should give anesthesia. I remember the midwife fondly. The anesthesiologist was also very nice and tried to relax the atmosphere while administering anesthesia. Morning came and with it a change of staff. Another gynecologist was very cold and unpleasant. When the anesthesia was removed and I started to complain about my statement that it hurts, I heard that I had pain when I was lying under anesthesia, and now it doesn't hurt at all, so I shouldn't say that because it's not true :-) Childbirth after anesthesia lying down despite my willingness and strength to give birth in a vertical position. While pushing, I heard some sarcastic and embarrassing comments from this lady (I unfortunately didn't remember her name). I felt very uncomfortable. Even on the National Health Fund, I have never been treated so disrespectfully and unpleasantly. When complications occurred, fortunately Dr. Chmyłko and Dr. Wnuk came and alleviated the unpleasant atmosphere. The birth was difficult and had complications, but thanks to them I felt cared for and safe at that moment. I also remember the doctor fondly. med. Anna Lew-Tusk - a neonatologist who took great care of our daughter when it turned out that her test results were not good. Postpartum care was generally okay, but despite my high temperature (infection) and the baby crying all night, I was not offered to take the baby so I could rest. Despite the completed birth plan and my clear objection to it, an injection of vitamin K was administered, later claiming it was by mistake. Other objective facts: comfortable beds, nice maternity room, good food. Due to complications for me and my daughter, we stayed in the ward a few days longer and I did not pay anything extra for this. My memories of giving birth are rather unpleasant. I paid for a private birth to avoid unpleasant situations and give birth in harmony with myself - my expectations were definitely not met. I wouldn't choose to give birth at Swissmed again.

I was with my child in the hospital due to a procedure under general anesthesia. Starting with the receptionists: nice, helpful and professional. Admission to the ward went smoothly, nurses provided exemplary care. The ladies had a great approach to the child and their behavior significantly reduced the stress of the child and the parent before the procedure. The preparation for anesthesia itself was well organized - the parent could be with the child until the last possible moment before entering the operating room and immediately after the patient woke up. The food is very good - a variety of breakfasts and dinners (vegetables, cold meats, cheese, yogurt, etc.) and enough for both children and parents. Doctors are patient, helpful and cordial. I give it a well-deserved 5 - the child only shed tears before leaving - that it's over and it's time to part with the new friend from the room :)

Well, in general .... having such prices for paid services and the state budget, the FNCC of the 90s and 2023 remained the same (with the exception of the new CDC). This is the fourth time in this institution, two hip replacements, two repeat hip joints, each time it gets worse and worse, initially cups of the wrong size were placed, when asked why they were asked, there was no other answer at that time, the result dislocations of the left joint began, they underwent re-endoprosthetics in 2019, the right leg turned out to be 2 cm shorter, which caused the ankle to fly, in 2022 dislocations of the right joint began, I was admitted to the clinic on August 30, I just lay in bed for four days, they took a blood test, did an x-ray, That’s it. The attending physician came once and asked what and where it hurt, where the dislocations were going, that’s all. No one really reads the stories, right before the operation they asked which joint should be operated on, right or left, if he hadn’t said that it was right, they would have operated on the left one, since the dislocation of the left joint is indicated everywhere, even in the discharge the left joint appears everywhere, in the department no one bothers to read the medical history, the prescription list contains contraindications for injecting NSAIDs, which I cannot take until the allergy begins and I asked the question what they are pricking, the lack of professionalism of the treatment nurses is off the charts, they punctured all the veins and were unable to place a catheter; a nurse from the intensive care unit placed a subclavian catheter without anesthesia, because... I’m allergic to lidocaine, the second nurse on duty didn’t come on time to the call, the IV ran out, the result was that the catheter was clogged, they couldn’t flush it out, they removed it, they tried to put the catheter in the arm, they punctured all the veins again, they couldn’t put it in, the nurse from the intensive care unit put it in again, for that I thanked her very much, I told her to warn the nurse on duty when she was administering the medicine so that she would press on the vein because the whole boat didn’t go in because of adhesions in the vein, when I tried to show what needed to be done, she threw my hand away and started yelling that she knew better what to do, she started tugging at the catheter, naturally she pulled it out of the vein, and refused to put another one in for me, she screamed rudely that she knew better what to do, he sent her away and told her not to come close to me anymore, my brother came, tried to put an intravenous drip, again nothing worked, the nurse from the intensive care unit did it again, my hands were punctured into rubbish, blue, more than 30 punctures, they react disgustingly to calls, as if you can’t go out into the corridor, the sisters and nannies sit in their little room, either drinking tea or gossiping in the corridor, in general, I was left with a disgusting impression of the work of the LLP2 staff, management conduct a staff certification, many of the staff do not correspond to the position, what they do.
