As a foreigner I was sent to Reina Sofia 4 times to solve my problem, everyone did a good job even though my problem was not solved. The biggest thanks go to Paula Rodriguez and Maria Paula Mantilla, who go extra mile and are super helpful. Paula was there for me even outside of her working time. This is really appreciated.

Wife and I had our oldest child here. Expenses out of pocket weren’t so bad, staff is somewhat lacking in knowledge. They couldn’t figure out the leg stirrups on the birthing bed, I had to put them up. Clean place, but don’t seem to have a great bedside. Very pushy on breastfeeding, I was not to thrilled with them. But one of the better options in Bogota.

Real bad service . Staff are rude. My husband get burn on his chest in the ICU. Money making clinic only. Bad bad experience from that clinic.

The emergency service was not able/ willing to apply an intramuscular injection. Clowning.

My recent experience at this medical facility was incredibly disappointing. Despite paying for the premium plan, the service was incredibly slow and disorganized, and the communication was almost non-existent. The nurses and security staff were consistently rude and unhelpful, making the already stressful situation even worse. We had to ask multiple times for updates on the patient's health status, and even then, we were met with angry faces and a lack of information. It took hours before we were given a decent status update, which was an awful experience. I hope that this facility can improve their customer service and communication skills to better serve their patients in the future.

It was a horrible visit. The nurses and stuff are not professional at all. Went in to get some exams done and just because they did want to they didn’t do it correctly. I don’t recommend this clinic.

Terrible service as health officials from the doorman to the nurses, most lacking in humanity. Do not bring your families here because the sick must have a complementary plan or be prepared to be cared for on their own because one pays to be cared for like others because there must be discrimination, they need a lot of humility and empathy so that it is not noticeable that They work only for the salary. That clinic is a complete hell, they leave the emergency patients in chairs, on the floor, they are not attended to, they lose their papers, there is overcrowding of patients in hydration, men and women, in the emergency room observation, please if you love your family member, don't take him there, the eps famisanar is rubbish, we need to transfer a patient from that hell, my son @supersalud, @famisanar. Foreign and locals please abstain from attending these very old and outdated hospital facilities. I've been a patient in the US, Spain, Germany and Colombia. This is by far one of the most frightening hospitals sub standard even for a tiny 3rd world town. Readers beware. Avoid at all cost, unless of course you happen to be a malpractice attorney. 1. Patient surgery intake. Expect a minimum of 2 hours 2. Nursing and Patient Information Systems. Pre and post surgical nursing staff use notebooks and handwritten notes as a the regular protocol for patient care. Despite revealing allergies with 5 different people and 5 different notebooks, the staff failed to write patient allergies in the surgical board and also failed to place the standard red bracelet. It had to be bluntly requested by the patient in the OR. The nursing staff laughed it off as normal noting it was goog "they" caught it on time. OMG. The nerve. 3. Institutional tardiness. Expect 3-4hour delay past scheduled surgical start time. Do not expect an apology nor a justification for tardiness. 4. During surgery expect nurses to answer questions to family at 8am, 11am 3pm. Should your family happen to run into a nurse and ask a question expect nurses to raise their voice rudely, only to be reminded to wait until the scheduled time. If your family receives a call from the OR team with a request (for information or supplies) and wish for you to ring the door, expect no responses to either of the two doors and one window. A family member witnessed a lady who could not find her father for 2 hours. Whiled the nursing staff dissed her, she had to appeal to a surgeon that was leaving the area. The information systems could not locate the patient. Frightening. Very Frightening. 5. After surgery expect 2 nurses to handle patient care for all 16 ORs. OMG. Frightening very frightening. Little help, fend for yourself. 6. Patient out-take. Expect the process to last a few minutes. But by all means do not expect it dignified changing room and or patient lockers. It's pretty gross 6. One week surgery follow up. Expect two hours wait on the 3rd floor of a brand new building just for check-in. Expect rude and insufficient check-in staff. Then expect another hour for the doctor to see you. I hope my comments help you make an informed decision. I hope my comments save lives and hardship. Steer clear if you can. Colombia has great hospitals. This is by fas substandard even for small towns in a 3rd world country.

Overcrowded clinic, patient on stretchers in corridors in view of everyone, one calls insistently to ask for appointments or scheduling for exams and they don't have an agenda or you have to wait for them to "activate the service" because it is not available but when you go to Super health there if they have, pregnant women do not have the right to be accompanied by their partners or parents unless they pay for VIP service.

Terrible service, it is a clinic of low quality and deficient medical care without professional ethics. Due to malpractice, a great doctor died when he was only admitted for an appendicitis operation, the operation went wrong and it became complicated. All for a hospital without a well-sterilized and clean room to do their operations.

Very professional in patient care and attention. Currently they are one of the few hospitals that has prostheses for knee arthroplasty. They have a very good rehabilitation service. The facilities are very clean and permanently disinfected.

Just was released yesterday after being admitted last Thursday in need of a pacemaker. My husband and I were so pleased with our experience. Dr Marlon and Dr Francisco from the cardiology department were amazing. I was treated very well. I will be forever grateful.

Terrible (i.e. no) pain management after severe accident. Got also pain chock due to rush in changing linnen. As I chose to be operated at my home hospital (one of the top three hospital in pelvis operations in the whole World) they got upset and delayed my ambulance flight with a day (by not filling in papers on time). You can imagine the cost of having an ambulance flight waiting for you one extra day..

Terrible service, the lady at the checkout and the guards are rude. I am calling the service number to send me my ultrasounds and exams and they leave me in the clouds without any response. I've been waiting for more than 30 minutes and before leaving I went to ask if everything arrived in the mail and they told me yes. I don't receive anything even though a clinic like that can have people with so little education.

Located in the best place, excellent clinic, precise care, they have professionals in the different branches, the issue of the exams to be performed as well, it is located in the middle of the city, one could say, easily accessible, although in the afternoon at Traffic is very complicated either because there is no parking, but everything else is fine.

This hospital is amazing! My husband had to attend and I was so impressed with the staff! As we do not speak Spanish, they were all very amazing and did their best to help us. They were kind, caring and detailed to ensure that we were well taken care of. Thank you so much for taking care of my husband! You are the best!

It is a hospital with very good facilities and good medical staff. It is noticeable that they are trying to improve many aspects, but they have failures at the level of internal logistics, since they frequently drop hospitalized patients hours in advance for diagnostic imaging and other tests, clarifying that in the waiting room for Imaging diagnostic rooms have air conditioning, which ends up making some patients more sick; The truth is that in this regard there is a great deal of disregard for patients and a great lack of organization on the part of the hospital. The emergencies of this hospital are chaos! The disrespect towards the patient is total, you must stay 3 to 4 days in the emergency room under undignified conditions so that they give the patients a bed there is a doctor Moros who is the head of the emergency room and the man does not appear! Rude guards that don't know medical status but won't allow access or questions to medical personnel. This goes for guards outside and inside. Doctors do not provide status to patients and send students to relay status. Students can't answer questions. Poor communication and follow up by all personnel which have led to 3 wrong diagnosis by doctors. Once realized we asked and the staff blamed the family members of making up stories and medical visit history missing information. This review is based on the past year with various family members appointments and emergencies I am basing my rating. This rating applies to various areas: emergency room, intensive care, critical area, and maternity ward.

Of all the clinics and hospitals that I have visited inside and outside of Colombia, I dare to assure you that they have incredible human talent.

I am from out of country and my son fell off a chair and had a huge incision on his head. as soon as we got there they brought him in and attended to him. We were there for 10 hours for observation and had given amazing attention and care to my boy

I had a bad experience. It was very difficult to find someone friendly on the administrative staff. The ladies who schedule the imaging area are rude and not at all empathetic with the patient. How sad that staff training for quality customer service is left to the end.

Incompetent in the emergency area. 2 am on Monday, October 9, insolent and very unprofessional doctor. Dirt all over the areas "that people don't see." Are they doing emergency procedures in the same way?

Appalling! They don't have an emergency laboratory! I went at 3 in the morning to perform some emergency tests and there was no one in the laboratory! They kept me waiting for about 15 minutes… I had to go to another hospital because of the situation I was in!

Hands down, one of the best hospitals I've ever been to. Within minutes of bringing my dad here, the entire team was assisting him with his high blood pressure and symptoms of a stroke. The staff is very friendly and attentive. It's important to keep in mind that this is a private hospital, so if you don't have insurance, they will ask you to deposit a certain amount of money into the account. Make sure to mention that you are self-pay. So they can bundle everything up into one packet. I was so impressed with the ability to be able to just walk down to the administrative office and ask what my balance was and get that information within seconds. It is worth every single penny they charge.

I was a patient her for 2 nights and it had truly been one a the better experiences of being at a hospital ever. Staff was attentive, cleanliness was amazing and the over all experience with my surgeon was amazing! Highly recommend! Coming from the USA, this is like being at a 5 star hotel!

Madhouse, worst service at ER

Please remove Cynthia Solís (plastic) from this hospital. My family and I were her patients and she almost killed one of us. She is ignorant, an extreme danger to patients and commits medical malpractice for which she is currently under investigation.

My second time here in the past month…this is one of the best Hospitals I’ve ever been in. Excellent staff, World class service. No problems whatsoever like the other reviews. Blue Cross insurance was accepted and I was taken care of around the clock. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Went in to get an abscess removed on three different visits. I was scheduled at 10am but the room wasn't available until 8pm. Told to wait. I luckily asked for a written cost estimate and was told 58,000 PESOS (not including blood work, ultrasound and "hospital fees"). I said "no" and before I left, I paid the receptionist the 2,000 peso consult fee which she strangely handed over to one of the doctors. I never got a receipt for the two times that I paid. I went down the street and had the abscess removed for 2,000 pesos. BE SURE TO GET A WRITTEN COST ESTIMATE BEFORE ANY PROCEDURE. GO ELSEWHERE- THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF! 30x more than the competition. Shady billing, accounting, payment, no receipts and handing cash to doctors?

That day they had the refrigeration at a very low temperature making it uncomfortable to wait for the doctor's attention.

I’m an American, living in San Francisco and accustomed to high level of medical care. My father developed an infection and the hotel recommended this hospital. Great experience. Very clean, modern and professional. Similar to an urgent care in the US. You pay out of pocket but prices are relatively reasonable. Everyone speaks English. I wasn’t sure what to expect so hope this review is comforting if you need to see a doctor while traveling.

While on a dive trip to Cozumel, my husband became seriously ill and was hospitalized at Costamed. He received excellent treatment. This review is about the patient services people, particularly Jesus Pineda and Israel Cuerca, who were so helpful. My phone would not work and Jesus let me use his phone to contact my bank. He was a very calming influence at a trying time. All the staff was kind and helpful but these two stand out, especially Jesus.

It could be 5! BUT IT'S BEEN A MONTH SINCE MY SON'S RESULTS HAVE NOT BEEN OUT. I DID IT BY REFERRAL FROM THE HEALTH CENTER! THEY SAY THE DOCTOR HAS NOT DONE THE REPORT YET! ONE MONTH? Good afternoon!! My name is Taynara, and I was admitted to the unit on 11/3/2023... with severe headaches and vomiting, and was soon sent for exams and measurements. I was immediately taken to the ICU, with full medical supervision from Dr Giuliano and his emergency team. On the 4th (Saturday), after more tests, a tumor was seen requiring surgery, which was carried out last Thursday, 11/24. The surgery was a success, the entire tumor was removed without any further complications. Today Monday, 11/27, I left the ICU and am recovering in the room. I would first like to thank God for the entire process, and for the Dona Helena team... from the nurses in the emergency, ICU and maternity ward. Thank you for all the love and care, to everyone I had the pleasure of meeting, they made this struggle easier, they all brought me a lot of confidence and serenity. Thanks mainly to Dr Giuliano, for all his professionalism and clarity. By ICU Techniques morning and afternoon (Karina, Karen, Carol, Larissa, Paula, Ângela, Anderson, Roberto) Amanda for all the braids in her hair before and even after cutting her hair for the surgery she took great care to wash , hydrate and make everything feel lighter after surgery. I've been with my grandmother at HDH twice in the last 30 days. The first time on October 21st in orthopedics, service provided by the doctor Barbara Miroski de Oliveira Pinto. The second appointment was today, a clinical appointment by doctor Murilo Melocra. In both appointments, the doctors were very clear, detailed and were excellent in their consultations. Even though consultations were carried out in the emergency room, the service was very complete and all possible information was provided. Service at reception and screening was also very good and courteous.

On Saturday, 02/08, my wife and I were admitted to the hospital through the emergency ward. We needed obstetric care. The reception was perfect. The nurses were amazing. The doctor who carried out the first assessment did well. But everything fell apart when they told us that there was NO doctor responsible for ultrasounds at the hospital, they were on alert. This specific doctor was supposed to be at the beach, as it took him over an hour to arrive. When he attended to my wife, he treated it as if it were nothing. A cretin. In a moment of total fragility. Irresponsibility on the part of the hospital for not having a team on duty (probably to save a few bucks) and the doctor is certainly from that new generation who only thinks about fundraising. Ultrasound care was vital for us, regardless of whether it changed the result or not. We just wanted an answer. The doctor (whose name I will refrain from mentioning here, but you will find out from the ombudsman) came in, gave the diagnosis and simply left. He left the rest to the other doctor who attended to us first (very well) and to the nurses. There's no point in having a hospital that prides itself on having whatever it is, with each professional identified by the color of their uniform and having emergency medical care that is rubbish. Ridiculous. Unfortunate for a hospital that was once a reference in the region. As for the doctor, I wish him no harm. I just want life to give him the same treatment he gives his patients. And I say this from the heart because there is time to change and be better.

Stellar. professional, humaine, attentive, caring and loving. My mother was admitted 3 times and used the hospital almost daily after discharged. From the valet parking to the doctors, cleaning to nursing staff, everyone was efficient albeit friendly.
