About clinic

At the Clínica General del Norte Organization we are an institution committed to the professional and personal growth of our collaborators, achieving a high level of commitment and providing excellent care to our patients. For the Presidency of the General Clinic of the North, one of the greatest achievements is having a consolidated network of institutions and a very broad portfolio of services, with more than 2,000 services at all levels of complexity: from the ambulatory part, external consultation , general medicine, passing through specialized medicine, both in diagnoses and in treatment in practically all specialties and subspecialties, both clinical and surgical. All this great gear to provide an optimal health service is possible thanks to the human talent that is made up of 3,545 people, among whom some 2,286 are care providers and 1,259 administrative staff. In the configuration of the work staff, the Clinic believes in women and takes care that there is gender equity in its teams, which is why the institution has 2,884 women and 1,061 men. The General Clinical Organization of the North has been the Pioneer Institution of interventionist-type activity in the Caribbean Region. For 50 years, it has been carrying out diagnoses, treatments and procedures, with the best human resources, made up of cardiologists with various subspecialties, both adults and pediatrics. Its commitment to a comprehensive service has led the General Clinic of the North to establish itself as the highly complex institution with the greatest impact and growth in the Region, with the capacity to cover all low, medium and high complexity health services. Since then it has grown in services and infrastructure, and has expanded with an institutional presence not only in the city of Barranquilla, but also in other strategic places in the Caribbean Region such as Santa Marta and Cartagena.

Terrible!! The triage staff are rude and the doctor who treated us doesn't even answer the greeting. They lack empathy. If one day they want to get certified, they should start with the staff. You can see the hatred they have for their work, which they project into customer service. The only good people are those in the goal and the laboratory!

I have blood cancer, so I get test at other testing place and than go here for treatment. Lots of waiting, I have to go down street to pay for service. Than more waiting. Not bad place, but everyone seems to be confused. Other than that, it's fine
