This place's customer service sucks. I emailed them with questions regarding a minor surgery that I'm looking to get. I wanted to know what the price or approximate price would be for it, if they had availability in a certain part of the month, and if this surgery could be done at the same time. They responded that I would need to set up a consultation in order to get the answers I was looking for. Guess how much a consultation is? USD$150 or $3300 Pesos. Seriously? I explained to them that it wouldn't make sense for me to spend that kind of money when I may find out they don't have availability for appointments when I need it. How hard is it for a hospital to tell their patients when they have appointments available?

The service is very bad. The management is slow, they are not agile, they are only filling out reports and chatting on the computers. They are called for something and they take a long time or get angry. The nurses are only there to apply the medicine because if they are of legal age there must be a person day and night. Supplying their duties on occasions. Any procedure they have to do seems to be a ritual because they take so long. Not counting the way in which at the entrance they can be waiting even in the chairs at the entrance for a stretcher. The nurses and doctors are not formal at all, they are lazy for you to ask anything and sometimes some of them respond terribly to any question. How they like it is that people or users treat them badly at all times because they do treat them quickly. And to think that there are only 3 or 4 clinics as complete for as many users as we are. The fact that the EPSs to which they provide the service or those of Avidanti take time to authorize something also does not help.

I was with my father in the ER. For me the service was excellent. From the officiating goalkeeper to medical, nursing and cleaning staff. Very well cared for. Very clean headquarters and bathrooms with everything you need. I congratulate you.

There is only one internationally rated hospital in Ecuador and it is in Quito. After 10 days in this hospital, they are decades away from being accredited. They do not have a lot of basic equipment. Suffice it to say… it took 5 days just to find me a washcloth. Had to stay an extra 3 days due to their neglect. Ecuadorian health care is ranked 101 in the world. U.S. is ranked 32. You chose.

Amazing attentive staff! Super clean hospital inside and out.. food is amazing. Affordable Pharmacy on site. Affordable and quick covid testing. EVERYONE wears a mask at all times no matter what! This hospitals protocol and cleanliness is 100% better than many of the ones in the US. Parking is hourly but you’re vehicle gets washed while it’s there and they have 24 hour security. I highly recommend this hospital!

I’ve been coming to MediExcel for 5+ year. They have been treating me for CLL A blood cancer. I am more than pleased with the service. You will never feel rushed. They take the time to make sure all your questions are answered.

I had a great experience with getting a dental implant at Hospital Excel dental clinic. The facility is state-of-the-art, incredibly nice and the staff at the hospital is very professional, nice and very informed. And the cost was significantly less prohibitive than doing it in the United States. I would totally recommend this hospital and dental clinic for any American who would like to save money on dental surgery work and get a trip abroad out of it at the same time.

I have my insurance from the US and saw that we can pick this hospital. in the short amount of time I've been coming here I've received much better care here than most US hospitals. The facility is very clean as well the doctors and staff are very friendly and professional. I love that they have staff that speak English and some doctors do as well you just have to request one if you want a doctor that speaks English, the Services they provide are very affordable with my insurance.

I tried to schedule an appointment via chat. After answering numerous questions, I was informed that I could not have my appointment made because my CPF was linked to my Father (who has passed away). I explained that I was the financial responsible for my father's health plan and they said that only after solving with Amil could I make an appointment. After another long period of chat, they managed to unlink my CPF from my father's registration, but it doesn't stop there... after all this time, they said that my Bradesco plan was not accepted, and I informed them from the beginning, from the automatic questions of whatsapp. Deplorable service.

today (Feb 14, 5pm) was my first visit to this ER room and it was very much better than the Grand River's. The nurses all seemed to be in a better mood and the young ER doctor was quite understanding and kind. The wait time was less than half of that of Grand river. Things I thought that could be improved though were how the young worker at the entrance of the ER room was just sitting there and staring at people who came into the room and selectively offering guidance. She didn't greet nor guide people as they came in but offered help only if one seemed completely lost. I thought she needed to be more proactive. Also, I didn't like how we had to speak of our personal information (address, phone number and medical info) in front of all the other patients in the living room. Lastly the initial waiting area were quite loud and hectic with hospital personnel walking into and through the area. Some were talking casual things very loudly as if the waiting patients didn't exist. One worker came with a buggy with her baby without a uniform and just went in and out of the triage nurse area like it's her living room.. Beside these minor things the visit was excellent and I appreciate the people who made it the way it is. Will come again, thank you!

Amazing ED and medical imaging staff. Took my son to have his hand injury checked out today, and everything from arrival to triage, registration, physician assessment, and X-ray took less than an hour. Everyone was kind and pleasant. Results took a bit longer which is understandable, but with the cast application and the nurse going over discharge instructions, we were out of there in less than three hours total. Excellent care and experience.

I'm impressed with everyone who works at St. Mary. Looks like it's a very good workplace. From the security guards and intake to nurses and doctors, everyone is kind, polite, and professional. I received great care and am thankful to all staff. Great teams! Unfortunatelly, I had to go there several times lately. They do all tests quickly and answer to all questions in language I understand, as non-medical person. 5 out of 5 stars. Other hospitals should go there to observe and learn how it's done.

The facilities are quite clean and pleasant, at least the room that was assigned to me was quite nice, clean and comfortable, unlike others that are a little simpler that I had the opportunity to see right here, I don't know if they still exist or have been remodeled, but I don't have any complaint. The extremely friendly staff from the first moment, from administrative, security, nutrition and especially nursing, attentive at all times and for any little thing regardless of the time, after my surgery I asked for a blanket and in a minute I already had a thermal, I asked for my glasses and they brought them to my room in another building. Quality staff checked into the room daily to ask if I was comfortable and receiving good care. The only thing that was quite complicated was the entrance, since it took 3 hours due to lack of availability of rooms, despite the fact that it was already scheduled. Same thing with check in and out, it took too long. Still, I was extremely satisfied with my stay.

Worst hospitals only into making money I could have got my treatment done cheaper in the USA...they just dump what ever they want for kidney stone laser treatment and stay was a bomb 210000 pesos+80000 for doctors fees...they will empty ur pockets with sweet talks beware doctors are good you could use their services in other hospitals....the taxation department should look into these scamsters

SIMPLY HORRIBLE!!!! I had my first daughter in this hospital 2 years ago. Nothing to complain. This Thursday, March 30, we had our second girl in the same hospital. Complaint starts after 6 hours in the postpartum room without a bed for us to accommodate. That's not the worst. No one knew what to say at the hospital. I even went to the ombudsman who promised me he would solve it and did not meet the deadlines. Now the worst of all starts later. My daughter had to return to the hospital due to Jaundice, and she had to have her blood drawn for the second time on 04/04. They simply put a person whose role I don't know to draw blood from a 5-day-old newborn and it was certainly the first time that they drew blood from someone. He was shivering, and picked up an adult needle that I, a layman, had to draw attention to. The person tried to pierce and insisted and no blood. He gave up and called someone else to help. After several people in the room turned their backs, one person came to help us. Fortunately, he managed, but it took a person to help him who didn't know what to do to help. Where are the professionals at this renowned hospital? The experience was traumatic, and we will not return to this hospital, especially with our daughters.

Simply the WORST EXPERIENCE in hospitals of my entire life! In just over a week following the hospitalization of a relative, I had DOZENS of problems with the ABSOLUTE LACK OF CONTROL AND ORGANIZATION of the sectors and professionals: central access has no change and cleaning of the dressing (generating a SERIOUS HOSPITAL INFECTION on top of the one that caused hospitalization); the pharmacy DOES NOT LOCATE the patient's medications and DOES NOT NOTIFY when they are running out to replace them, we find out when the nurse says there are no more AND WE HAVE TO RUN OUT TO BUY IT, EVEN AT NIGHT; any history of the ZERA ward at each change of shift, there is NO RECORD of information and occurrences and when we identify an error, THE BLAME IS ALWAYS OF THE PREVIOUS SHIFT and they cannot do anything; between sectors THERE IS NO COMMUNICATION, the companion/patient needs to repeat ALL the information given, ALWAYS; when we identify an error, such as medication, the nurse's attitude is to ask us what to do (if she knew, she wouldn't be in the hospital); they do not notify the procedures to other sectors (they gave breakfast when fasting was needed, for a surgery requested by the doctor the day before which they only inform AT TIME to go to the block, that is, losing the surgery slot until the period of 8h fasting, ALMOST 12H LATER); and the ombudsman, which is a venting room, because there is NO PROTOCOL for complaints, follow-up and reporting of actions taken, a pure waste of time; emergency room nurses forget to reconnect the serum that keeps DRIPPING AND POLISHING THE FLOOR; they do not consult the medical records FROM THE PREVIOUS DAY to verify medications that may conflict with medications prescribed during the consultation; EVERYTHING is always dirty, with an absolute LACK OF ASSEPSIA in handling equipment that falls to the floor and is used in the same way, leaving garbage and dirty clothes in the rooms thrown on the floor for hours; elevators slow or not working NOR FOR PATIENTS GOING FOR SURGERY; patient stretchers going to the operating room COMPETE FOR SPACE in the hallways with food carts, dirty clothes and HOSPITAL WASTE; in reception, renovation equipment ALMOST HIT patients entering the building; tables with information from professionals and patients go DAYS WITHOUT UPDATE; information is written down by hand in documents that need to be consulted in systems (i.e., the information written down is not seen by others who need it; ward support professional MAL EDUCATED and whose objective is never to help companions and patients, but DISPENSE- LOS OR PLAY THE PROBLEM TO ANOTHER SECTOR OR PROFESSIONAL Finally, I report just a few examples of the absurdities that I experienced these days, and that will certainly be changed to include the others that will certainly happen until the discharge. 1 star JUST BECAUSE IT HAS NO WAY TO GIVE NEGATIVE NOTE.

Terrible, I spent more than 3 hours with my daughter complaining of stomach pains, the only thing they said was that they had few doctors and I couldn't. Doing nothing and now it was better because before there was only 1 pediatrician, lack of respect for people!!!

On the night/dawn of 03/01/23 to 03/02/23, we were accompanying our 2-year-old granddaughter to the emergency room of that hospital, with symptoms of fever, cough, vomiting, the same symptoms that she presented two days before and was under treatment in the same hospital for more than 6 hours. In this emergency return we get our password at 20:00. She was only called to the office at 11:50 pm!!! In short, after several children had to wait more than 3 and a half hours at the reception, after we complained to the attendants, some parents decided to call the PM to try to solve the problem. Thus, an BO was drawn up to attest to the lack of care within a reasonable period for children whose majority had symptoms of cough and fever. A true neglect of this hospital, which also extends to the responsibility of Unimed's health plan!

Disrespect for patients My father and I spent more than 2 hours waiting to be called, but people with milder clinical signs and the same screening category always passed in front of us, our password was 116 and they called 120, even questioning the secretariat about the answer it was just that she didn't know and couldn't help, the only person who offered to seek help was the attendant who directs the arriving patients. After two hours, thanks to this gentleman, it was found that my father was already in the system as being attended to and we should have been attended to at least 1 hour and a half earlier. All this occurred between 22 and 00:30.

Where to start. A hospital that is usually a reference... My mother entered the hospital with a possible stroke. She was diagnosed with a seizure, they did several tests on her and they did not notice, or if they did, they disregarded her, that 80% of her carotid arteries were clogged and this was causing the seizures and strokes. She was sent home in 3 days with anticonvulsant medicine, even though she stopped walking and had memory blackouts... Today she is being treated and operated on in another hospital. Also, on the day of discharge, my mother couldn't walk at all, I had to go after a wheelchair at the reception, I had to take her to the car and I had to carry her in my arms to sit in the car with the help of a young man who took his wife for tests. It left a lot to be desired.

Doctors are excellent, very competent!!. The logistics and other services are terrible. There's no toilet paper in the rooms, cups, horrible food, beans are made from just grains and dark water, every day there's lettuce salad, papaya and, once in a while, apple. Juice for the patient never comes, although the nutritionist does an interview with the patient when he is discharged. Café au lait is made from powdered milk, soluble coffee and warm water!! Blerghs!!! "Unstoppable". Nutrition score zero. I suggest that you take food and leave it in the room, so you have a good food option. Even the toilet was loose. All this in the agreement, already in the private one... blinked, it arrived !! If the companion does not run, does not complain, things remain the same. Parking price is a STEAL! Opinion of someone who has already complained about all these facts on other occasions, but all in vain... room service is very different between health insurance and private. It gets nauseous. A lot of lack of communication between sectors, for example: emergency x concierge x nursing. The concierge disagrees with the companion where the patient is...lol. The nursing staff wants to put the patient (already in the room) on the serum - indication from 2 days ago, from the emergency... they offer food, in the room, from the so-and-so - previous patient. Horrible, I went in at 4 pm, now 9:50 pm, two brand new doctors, one of them keeps walking from one side to the other and the emergency room is full, I have my exams ready, the doctor doesn't stop in the room.

I was very disappointed with the service, I always heard very good things about it, but my experience was very bad, I had no follow-up, no one to ask if I knew about a diaper, advise on bathing, check if I had milk, if I knew how to breastfeed , if my baby was latching on correctly, apart from the fact that the room I stayed in looked like SUS, I think SUS would be better, there was no proper cleaning in the bathroom, only the first bath was with the nurse, nobody told me anything about the next baths, I had to guess, apart from the fact that the food wasn't the best and the lunch was too poor. Organized and clean hospital, the physical space is large and well distributed (first aid, x-ray rooms, surgical center, oncology ward, wards, pediatrics, SUS, among others). The service is of high quality, with very attentive professionals willing to help you.
