Hospital Paulistano is excellent, incredible professionals from reception to departure, delicious food, I was very well assisted by neurosurgeon Dr Adil Bachir and Dr Rodrigo during my anterior and posterior lumbar arthrodesis surgery, on the L4, L5 and S1 vertebrae, almost 8 hours, doctors on duty, very human and attentive, wonderful nursing technicians, excellent nurses, excellent and committed physiotherapists, it was an immense joy 1 day after the surgery to get up from the bed and walk around, without any support. Today I had it at the oncology outpatient unit with an appointment more than 30 days ago. When I got there I found out that it was no longer scheduled. I had knee surgery on 6/24. The service was all polite. They always ask you to arrive two hours before surgery completely fasting. Before the surgery I spent time with nursing, with an anesthesiologist and with my doctor. All facilities clean and well organized.

Emergency services won’t take a sick 13 years old child as a patient. So please beware of this strange rule and don’t take your youngsters there. Very strange rule. Please dont ever seek treatment here you are better of at a veterinary. Went here cause my girl friend got an bladder infection and it was hurting more than it normally would. They scared us to death with all these possible rare conditions she might have and do everything they can to do as many scans and tests possible. After all the ultrasounds and MRI they tell us they did not find anything and they give her a prescription with a rare intramuscular antibiotic(she was already 2 days in to a normal penicillin cure) the doctor tells us to stop taking the cure she was on and get a shot everyday of the intramuscular one she prescribed. The fun part is after that i went with my sick girlfriend around rio to try and find a place that has this medicine and can inject her with it but no pharmacy or public hospital was willing to do it. So she went without antibiotics for 2 days, only for us to go back to this hospital for them to change it to an oral one. So long story short we spent more then a 1000 euro's and 2 days trying to get her help and she only got more sick and ended up with the normal antibiotics we started our journey with

I'm only impressed by the price. My doctor was inexperienced, replied badly to my questions. They hardly speak any English. They did not give me the x-ray I payed for. Unprofessional, but overpriced.

I had to take my 3 year old daughter to the pediatric emergency room and unfortunately I experienced racism from the first contact with the doctor asking me if I was the mother, because my daughter was white. This is inhumane and those who can pay the price for this are the patients since the HED administration sacrifices its nurses by not providing the basic things that are the appropriate temperature to work, how can you work in such heat? How to concentrate? So every time a family member is admitted there, they will be cared for by professionals who are under strong pressure and heat.

The structure of the building is good, but the service is lacking. In the office building there is no air conditioning and it is 35ºC hot. It is absurd that a private hospital environment does not have a decent structure to serve its clients!

I underwent a total thyroidectomy surgery on 08/17 and I was very well taken care of, from the time I arrived until I left (08/18). The structure of the hospital is wonderful (bedroom, operating room, recovery room)!!! My only complaint is about parking…..absurdly expensive. My mother paid 122.00 to stay 1 day with me!

My cousin went to this hospital to have this removed since it went through her finger. Doctor Carmona Estrada Mayra attended my cousin and told her that anesthesia was not needed, plus she was really busy. After all that pain my cousin went to another hospital because there was a broken piece of the object still left in her finger. Bad experience at this hospital with doctors not being honest and staff is rude. Their not helpful at all and there just out for your money. They have no true concern about your family member. They lie about how the patient is doing and if anything they make them worst to your expense. It was truly heartbreaking to realize how bad this hospital is. Don’t take your family members here. Find a different place.Funny thing is that I wrote a detail review of everything that happened and for some reason it’s not on here. Point is don’t trust them with your love ones. Question what there doing and why. Research to see if they even need certain things they ask you for and what the purpose of it is.
