Always treated well and have had multiple surgeries with the highest level of compassion and care. Couldn't recommend any higher. World class facilities, Doctors and med students/residents, nurses are extremely respectful of patient wishes and exceed professional standards. All support staff I've encountered were extremely helpful and welcoming and would ask you in the hall if there was anywhere specific you were trying to find and if they can help in any way. The Doctors and nurses were extremely accommodating of my specific (non cardiac) issues and needs at the time and worked with me on them for a comfortable experience. The surgeon it's named after actually operated on my Opa (grandfather in Dutch) and the surgeon who did my open heart surgery was studying under the Facility's namesake and remembered assisting on Opa's surgery because it was one of their first surgeries he assisted on. So he opened up and operated on my Opa and myself. Working on 2 generations of 1 family decades and half a Province apart is quite the interesting thing in my opinion. If you or your loved ones are required to be here you're in very good care under MANY VERY SKILLED hands.

Experienced two months with the institute. The Doctors and Nursing staff were awesome. The panel of doctors managing my case were very knowledgeable and up to date with the latest advances in cardiac treatment and rehabilitation technologies.

2 months ago was my aunt's valve change operation and it was a complete success. I am very grateful for everything they did before, during and after the operation. The months before the operation, each of the specialists showed a very humane treatment, an adjective that paradoxically is seen less and less in doctors. After the operation, they kept her hospitalized for more than 3 weeks and did not discharge her until the tests they performed daily gave good results, that is, without showing any rush to free up a bed, prioritizing the patient's safety. They are thieves, I paid to schedule an MRI for which they never gave me an schedule for which I requested a refund of my money and this is the time that they have not returned it. They make excuses and excuses but do not return it. thugs!

I rate 3 for the studies carried out, good treatment, punctuality, etc. And the admission is organized. I should put an * for the surgery, where I thought I was in the worst public hospital. I walked to a tiny place to change, they didn't even make me bathe with disinfectant, just as I came. I had the worst experience at this hospital, first they lied to me about the waiting time for my lab results. They asked me to come back in 6 hours for my result and before they told me over the phone that it was gonna be 3 hour wait. Then I called before the 6 hours to ask if my results were ready the lady said she sent me the results through email and that they were normal and I that I don’t have to see a doctor. I believed her and we proceed to return to USA after I opened my email for results and I saw my cholesterol level in red I called the hospital and they told me I have to see a doctor because they can’t read the results only a doctor. They wanted me to set up another appointment and waist another day in Tijuana. I asked for an appointment over the phone and they said because I was a first time patient a have to have an in person appontiment. I don’t agree with this because they lied to me on everything, they don’t even help you or guide you when you’re there in person. These people only care about your money please don’t go over here. I regret having my test on this place they are not transparent and not professional at all. 😢

I’ve been coming here regularly for almost 7 months to treat my tumor in my hand, I’ve hand multiple surgeries and each one has been successful and quick. The border medical pass is a huge perk which eliminates the need to wait hours in line to get back to the states.

Terrible service, absurd delay at reception of more than 40 minutes. Unprepared employees with no information on service protocols. Both for scheduling by phone and in person. I scheduled an MRI and confirmed the information before making the call and when I arrived to be seen on the second attempt (as the first time I was unable to be seen because the exam was 2 hours late) the attendant gave me completely different information, stating that I would need to change the order on behalf of the council, and I confirmed it with the telephone attendant twice regarding the council. Anyway, on top of that, I agreed to take the exam because I was urgently required, but it was 1h30 late, which ended up being a little longer. The hospital used to be excellent, but it has lost its quality, I don't recommend it.

I was at Urgent Care at Concordia Hospital and be transferred to St-Boniface Hospital for a treatment of a group of specialists. I was very well taken care of by the doctors, the nurses and the staff. I’m very grateful and would not hesitate to recommend to any patient if you are admitted to St-Boniface Hospital. Terrible service. Fetus Ultrasound was half an hour later than my initial appointment. The technician was not considerable or very respectful. On March 23, I took my wife to her scheduled cesarean section, we arrived at the hospital and we waited for them to complete all the paperwork for more than 3 hours. After the surgery, my wife spent more than 6 hours recovering from anesthesia, the A nurse was terrible, my wife was in pain and she was asked to apply medication, which since it was shift change time, she did not give notice and the medication was given 1 hour after requesting it, payment was made to pediatrician Arturo Gonzalez and he I request an invoice for the fees, which to this day you have not sent me the receipt or invoice... I have been hospitalized for 3 days for heart failure, the therapy is private and a luxury. The gastronomy is a 10, the attention of the nurses is excellent. Cleaning 4 times a day. The place is wonderful.

I was hospitalized for 2 days in this clinic for an operation and the truth is that everything was a ten! The clinic is a luxury, at least on the floor where I was (9th) with nurses on duty all day, nutritionist, surgeon, a whole team of people on top of everything. An excellent human group at work and not to mention the food where you can choose your own menu. Thank you all for making my stay a luxury, I never thought that a visit to a clinic could stop being an unpleasant experience (it will never be a good thing, nothing like the house but it was bearable) I recommend!

Very good service and support. I called them one day before for an appointment. Nex day At 11 am I met the doctor (on time!). Very good conversation in english, very fast service. You have to pay in advance. People were very friendly and helpful! Appointment costs about 80 dollars, other things on demand. you can pay by credit card easily. i highly recommend the clinic.

Our children's pediatrician, Dr. Nora Padron sees them here. She has been their doctor since they were born. There is no other pediatrician anywhere that can measure up to this great, kind, caring and thoroughly knowledgeable professional.

I don't know why there are no cameras in the hospital. At least in the nurses' room. Every time I went to the pediatric emergency room the same thing happened. Nurses talking about personal matters, laughing loudly, as if they were in a bar. And when we make any requests, they are rude, rude and even mocking. I spent 14 hours there with my 3-year-old son. I didn't even see hygiene (the minimum expected in a hospital). Sheets used by patients the night before were left on the chair (until the time I left, they were still there). I think this hospital is great, I had 2 surgery there. I am from United States. The Dr used was Dr luis Eduardo Barbosa. His staff was excellent. The front desk at check in very professional. Then I was brought to a room to change and then to the OR. woke up in recovery and was feed food and released in the morning. Parking was easy. Hospital was clean, looked up to date. Excellent experience there.

Went at 11:30 and was out by 14:00. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Used my Canadian passport and received all services free of charge. Worst ER I have seen, the nurses show zero compassion, waiting time is endless, no proper process for taking patients in is in place, not clean, every time I go there’s blood on the floor which is not cleaned right away. People are left to die, some bleeding some in pain & no one cares. Twice now that I go & I wait hours even before I make it to Triage to get my information taken & i end up leaving.

I was delighted with the treatment I got at Joe Brant last Wednesday, the 18th of October. I arrived around 4PM with a finger I had cut off (I had it with me) and one that was basically dangling. It was a table saw accident. I was greeted immediately and directed to the waiting room. I did have to ask if they should put my finger on ice with the hopes it could be reattached. That was done. The triage nurse was great (sorry, I didn’t get her name) and the person who wrapped my hand the first time equally as great. I eventually got to the back (it was a busy time) and Dr. Terry Hatch came in and assessed my fingers. He told me exactly what was happening and what was going to happen. And then set the wheels in motion. I was re bandaged, sent for X rays given tetanus shots, and then Dr. Hatch came back in and began to work on shaving the bone etc and stitching up my fingers. It was decided that the one would not be reattached, but the other one was to be repaired. I felt very well looked after by the main nurse assigned to me, Dr. Hatch and pretty much everyone else. Dr. Hatch was calm, professional, pleasant and excelled at what he did. All my questions were answered simply and calmly, no matter how silly they may have been. I had some prescriptions for pain and antibiotics, and a referral for an appointment for a plastic surgeon (follow up) before I left. I can’t say enough about Dr. Hatch and the nursing team in Emergency. Thank you so much for what you do, and the way you do it. David

The international clients WhatsApp line is the worst I have experienced within the business in Medellin. I was trying to get an appointment for an MRI and responses were just like automatic system that left you for hours with no responses. If you call nobody answers. When finally someone responds your multiple messages, leaves again with no answers. I never expected such a poor service from such a reputable institution. I started around 10:00 AM and at 2:48 PM still wasn't able to get any availability for the appointment. I told them never mind and they respond to that message at 5:35 PM! I understand if the people is to busy, but so that means they need to hire more people for the job.

I paid for an Antigen COVID test and haven't received the results from the examination even as they promised to send them within 3 hours to my email address and provide access on there website! On requests I couldn't reach anyone. Thats fraud and should be a 0 Star Rating!

My husband recently had spinal fusion surgery at the hospital. There are so many great things about this hospital, but other things that need improvement. First of all, Cristina, in admissions is wonderful. She speaks perfect English (a huge bonus as my Spanish is basic) and she's extremely thorough and caring. The pre and post op care was also amazing. The hospital rooms are huge, with English TV stations and the accommodations are quite comfortable. Most of the staff (nurses, aides, etc...) are also very caring individuals. What didn't go so great is: (1) At check in we were given the rules of the hospital which requires a family member to be with the patient 24/7. This should be given in advance as we had to scramble to get a dog sitter. (2) Cristina, in admissions, asked us what we had been quoted for the procedure. This is something the hospital should already have, and in the end we were charged almost 23,000 pesos for the hospital's surcharge on the titanium metal used to fuse my husband's neck. Basically, the corkage fee for the metal to enter their hospital. We were not told about this by the doctor who gave us the quote. (3) Most of the nursing staff was great but some would let me husband's IV's run dry with alarms going off. This would cause them to come in and run saline solutions through the line which was a bit painful. When I'd go to see why the nurses had not responded to the IV alarms or our pushing the call buttons, they'd just be hanging around the nursing station. (4) Discharge was a traffic jam. The doctor said we could leave around 10:30 and that the bill was ready. I went to the nursing station to inquire and the sent me to the "caja" (cashier) downstairs who told me it wasn't ready yet so went back to the room and waited 2 hours until I finally went back to the nurses stations and requested someone who spoke English to come talk to me. After that, it finally got finished and delivered an hour later. All in all, a good hospital experience but if they are going to try and market to expats and wealthy individuals, there are many kinks in their system that they need to work out.

Very professional, clean hospital with caring nurses, doctors and entire staff. You don't feel like you are in a hospital in terms of decoration, environment and even the smell.
