this is the only hospital that has ever made me feel comfortable and cared for. went in thinking I had heart problems and they connected me with a psychiatrist as it turned out to be stress related. they took my concerns seriously and made me feel cared for ❤️ even staff that weren’t caring for me were comforting as they passed by and this is coming from someone who has extremely bad experiences from hospitals. our healthcare system is flawed but these people did their best to help me today and i appreciate it.

I was at Urgent Care at Concordia Hospital and be transferred to St-Boniface Hospital for a treatment of a group of specialists. I was very well taken care of by the doctors, the nurses and the staff. I’m very grateful and would not hesitate to recommend to any patient if you are admitted to St-Boniface Hospital. You will be in good hands !

Terrible service. Fetus Ultrasound was half an hour later than my initial appointment. The technician was not considerable or very respectful. Sounded like she would rather order me than asked to do certain movements or change positions, she was also hurting me during the procedure pushing on the stomach too intensely.

I don't know why there are no cameras in the hospital. At least in the nurses' room. Every time I went to the pediatric emergency room the same thing happened. Nurses talking about personal matters, laughing loudly, as if they were in a bar. And when we make any requests, they are rude, rude and even mocking. I spent 14 hours there with my 3-year-old son. I didn't even see hygiene (the minimum expected in a hospital). Sheets used by patients the night before were left on the chair (until the time I left, they were still there). Children with infectious diseases (gastroenteritis, severe flu...) were discharged and the seats were not sanitized. They directed me to the resting chair, when I sat down I felt something dripping on me. It was the nebulizing mask that a child had worn during the night. I myself had to sanitize the armchair my son was in. Holding him with one hand and rubbing alcohol with the other. Chaos. I filed a complaint with the ombudsman and to this day I have not received a response. I will formalize a new complaint with the ANS with photos and videos.

I think this hospital is great, I had 2 surgery there. I am from United States. The Dr used was Dr luis Eduardo Barbosa. His staff was excellent. The front desk at check in very professional. Then I was brought to a room to change and then to the OR. woke up in recovery and was feed food and released in the morning. Parking was easy. Hospital was clean, looked up to date. Excellent experience there.

What a lack of professionalism: - nurses calling each other “amiga” while tending patients in their rooms - residents and nurses rushing into the patients rooms disregarding any privacy and without any education to greet anyone in the room - nurses setting up a workstation in the rooms hallway, meaning they have no respect for patients or visitors need for peace and quiet - poor facilities and lack of maintenance

I went to the hospital a few times, both for consultation and emergency. What I can say is that the Hospital is very organized, has very well trained staff, I have always received very good service on the phone. I had to take my 3 year old daughter to the pediatric emergency room and unfortunately I experienced racism from the first contact with the doctor asking me if I was the mother, because my daughter was white. I've never seen a children's professional not interacting with the child, not conditioning, nothing... Super rude, cold, indifferent. Want to give a shout out to the nurses and staff on the 17th floor. I was briefly there this past Thursday to pick up my uncle Juan who received treatment. It felt very welcoming and calm on the floor. I am assuming that they were nurses (I apologize if they’re not) as they were sitting in the central location and also running around taking care of patients. When we asked for a wheelchairs, they processed the request with a smile. One of the folks even asked how my day was going and asked about the Buffalo Bills. I know this may sound small but it’s the little things that can make a difference. I had some anxiety coming to visit and was exhausted from my 8 hour drive to get here, but all that went away when I entered the 17th floor of this hospital.

The nurses, admin team, patient care team I have no complaints about. I dread thinking how the doctors here have handled my Dads care since the very beginning of his AML diagnosis in April. To begin when he was initially admitted, he received his chemo and was discharged with oral meds that he was told to keep taking upon going home. Doing some basic internet research we discovered he was taking the meds for 20 days longer than he was supposed to. We had a teledoc visit with his doctor, she described it as a “misscommunication” and that he indeed took it weeks longer than he was supposed to. Also during this period, he was doing outpatient in New Jersey and never had any follow up from his doctor until weeks after discharge his initial diagnosis. I do not think this is standard. He was discharged with no Oncology follow ups scheduled or anything. When we finally did talk to his Doctor she said to move to a clinical trial that had not been successful on anyone, nor was it even available. She gave him more chemo that did not make any progress towards treating his disease. To say she was hands off is an understatement. I personally messaged about clinical trials that had success with patients with similar diagnosis and subtypes. We were told to reach out to hospitals that had them while she continuously kept stringing my father along without any real plan besides what was already not working. I asked about transplants she said it could kill him, now they have no viable plan as the chemo and lung issues (related) are too much to overcome. I continue to seek treatments for him. In short, I feel like we experienced a 1980s treatment plan, with no creativity or critical thinking applied to treating my Dad. He is a number to (most) of the doctors. They also will scheduled him for blood transfusions once a week on outpatient when he got them daily in the hospital. Extremely frustrating. Their bedside manner was also… abysmal. Offered little hope this whole time and didnt give confidence to other centers that would have been more capable in treating him. I would not recommend MSKCC and wished he went somewhere like Mayo or MD Anderson. Maybe they can be helpful for more straightforward treatment plans, but my Dad has a very rare subtype that made it complicated. Several doctors come off as thinking they are the end all be all of what is known about my father’s disease. Newsflash - we’re all capable of reading studies that show efficacy of treatments but your heads are too far up your own you know wheres to listen to family. They also give off a vibe of thinking they are the Almighty as well and it breaks my heart to see how they spoke to him and how it affects his mood, graces, and personal outlook.

I had surgery with DR Cláudio Kawasaki on my knee at the hospital, I was hospitalized for one night, the food at dinner and snacks were excellent, but not the same as the attention given by the girls and boys, nursing technicians and nurses, super attentive and patient surreal, even with a lot of pain they did everything they could to minimize it and give it all their attention. I recommend it 100%

Excellent physical structure, reception service, wonderful attentive and human nursing team, in the cafeteria in the afternoon the attendant was very polite, calm, super human, I watched and she even knows who the patients are.

I’m providing a unbiased and true experience of my most recent hospital visit at UNIBE in Costa Rica. I travel frequently to Costa Rica and had the most pleasant and professional experience on two previous occasions while be admitted to the hospital for long term stays from the doctors to the staff members this is why I chose to return. Unfortunately my most recent experience was negative to say the least from my initial checkin to being discharged as I was appalled with the treatment and level of service provided. The intake personal have absolutely no business being placed into these positions as they lack the customer service skills interacting with the public as it appeared they are unhappy providing even the most basic questions to the patient. Upon being released from my procedure the doctor or not even a staff members took a minute of there time to discuss my diagnosis or even medications if required in person. I was just given a piece of paper which I had so many questions as I was unfamiliar with the medications required and diagnosis provided. I have been acclimated in other hospitals throughout the world upon completing a procedure the doctor or staff member would meet you in person afterwards and discuss there findings also any medications if required even if it’s a minute or two unfortunately this didn’t happen. That particular weekend I had been enduring many unpleasant symptoms as I drove two hours to visit the hospital thinking I would have a positive interaction unfortunately this didn’t become to fruition as I was deeply disappointed. I then asked the admitting personal upon being discharged if I can discuss my results with the doctor or any staff member they said I would need to set an appointment with the doctor and pay additional fees for another date. I was beyond disappointed and infuriated as I would need to return another day to drive another 4 hours in total. Once again the behavior displayed by the admitting personal was unacceptable and discourteous. This will be my last time visiting this establishment as the level of service provided was unacceptable especially of a paying patient. I recommend future travelers or foreigners utilize other hospitals in the area which hopefully would have more of a bedside manner when someone is ill and can conduct themselves in a professional manner.

It is the first time in my life that I pay for parking in a hospital where I am already paying for the service of the place.

My review is solely basednon the eait in the ER , as that is the only place we have seen after 3 hours of waiting. It is dirty, gross and the staff all hate humanity. They also have one restroom for the entire ER waiting room which currently houses 20 or so people waiting to be seen.

ZERO STARS IF I COULD!!! Worst experience ever. Father arrived to ER by ambulance around 1 PM for a heart attack!! No doctor sees him until 5 PM. Labs were done, notes taken for a cardiac consult and an echo cardiogram. Notes were taken but orders were never submitted! So the next day was spent in a hospital room with NOTHING being done. Echo finally done at 3PM. Doctor show up later and hasn't reviewed any notes or tests! He tells us now that they can't do the cath until Monday (this is currently Friday!!). If they had treated his heart attack as the emergency it was, they would have done the cath right away. Nurse comes in at night with only 2 of the 6 medications needed for my father. Dosage is wrong! ER miswrote the notes for his medication!! Something very wrong is happening here!! Hoping this place doesn't kill my dad!! Avoid at all costs!! Cleveland Clinic has ruined the hospital!!

Horrible. Horrible experience!! If at all possible avoid this ER. Thought I was doing the right thing by calling 911 for my mother in order to have her seen asap.that might have been the case… but don’t plan on going back to be with your family member. Seriously! Insane the way I was treated. I begged everyone I could to please let me back there to be with my 78 yo mother. “Sorry.. not protocol” zero care from anyone I spoke to. No one cared that my mom was crying for me. They all just kept telling me it’s protocol to wait for an assigned doctor, that they were extremely busy. Well.. I keep pressing the issue and was finally allowed back. To an empty room, almost empty ER.. zero doctors around. Not busy as all. Disgusting the way I was treated. Horrible They literally coukd care less. I’m sick to my stomach over how bad it went down

Appalling! They don't have an emergency laboratory! I went at 3 in the morning to perform some emergency tests and there was no one in the laboratory! They kept me waiting for about 15 minutes… I had to go to another hospital because of the situation I was in!

Hands down, one of the best hospitals I've ever been to. Within minutes of bringing my dad here, the entire team was assisting him with his high blood pressure and symptoms of a stroke. The staff is very friendly and attentive. It's important to keep in mind that this is a private hospital, so if you don't have insurance, they will ask you to deposit a certain amount of money into the account. Make sure to mention that you are self-pay. So they can bundle everything up into one packet. I was so impressed with the ability to be able to just walk down to the administrative office and ask what my balance was and get that information within seconds. It is worth every single penny they charge.

I was a patient her for 2 nights and it had truly been one a the better experiences of being at a hospital ever. Staff was attentive, cleanliness was amazing and the over all experience with my surgeon was amazing! Highly recommend! Coming from the USA, this is like being at a 5 star hotel!

Bad place to go to an emergency... They pick you up whenever they want and they don't attend to you... I arrived at 10 pm... I was left waiting for 2 hours on the stretcher with the curtain closed so that in the end no doctor would arrive. check me... On Friday, October 27 at approximately 8:00 pm, we came to the emergency room to check my daughter who had a throat infection and urinary tract infection. Dr. Jesús María Hernández Reyna did not test her with the reagent strip and so I He prescribed an antibiotic, and I asked him if he was not going to take a test, and very bleeding and sharp, he answered that there was the medicine for both infections. My sister was treated for kidney stones in August and we signed a document agreeing to pay $13,800. When we got home, our credit card was charged $38,000. We have made numerous attempts to speak to the hospital, no one has responded. They sent a credit card receipt that clearly shows that they forged our signature and are still demanding payment. Stay away from this hospital, they will scam you out of lots of money.

Terrible money scam. People were nice, but not professional. My mom had a heart issue and was sent here by Xcaret Hotel Mexico (this is a partner hospital with the hotel, says something about the hotel too). She was given EKG and blood test, which was charged 1300USD. The emergency doctor couldn't give any diagnosis with these results and wanted to refer an internal medicine doctor to continue with more procedures (for more charges). The whole time we were there there was no monitor of vital signs, the IV stopped working. We ran away without continuing with any procedure. Stay away from this hospital if you can!

My son hurt his knee pretty bad after landing awkwardly trampolining at our resort. He couldn’t bare weight on it and had a lot of pain so we researched a few local hospitals and decided on Amerimed based on some of the Google reviews. We were not disappointed and so glad we picked this one. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and got us in, x-rayed, meds and a knee brace for 6,500 pesos/ $400usd. We were out within 90 minutes. Good afternoon!! My name is Taynara, and I was admitted to the unit on 11/3/2023... with severe headaches and vomiting, and was soon sent for exams and measurements. I was immediately taken to the ICU, with full medical supervision from Dr Giuliano and his emergency team. On the 4th (Saturday), after more tests, a tumor was seen requiring surgery, which was carried out last Thursday, 11/24. The surgery was a success, the entire tumor was removed without any further complications. Today Monday, 11/27, I left the ICU and am recovering in the room. I would first like to thank God for the entire process, and for the Dona Helena team... from the nurses in the emergency, ICU and maternity ward. Thank you for all the love and care, to everyone I had the pleasure of meeting, they made this struggle easier, they all brought me a lot of confidence and serenity. I've been with my grandmother at HDH twice in the last 30 days. The first time on October 21st in orthopedics, service provided by the doctor Barbara Miroski de Oliveira Pinto. The second appointment was today, a clinical appointment by doctor Murilo Melocra. In both appointments, the doctors were very clear, detailed and were excellent in their consultations. Even though consultations were carried out in the emergency room, the service was very complete and all possible information was provided. Service at reception and screening was also very good and courteous.

On Saturday, 02/08, my wife and I were admitted to the hospital through the emergency ward. We needed obstetric care. The reception was perfect. The nurses were amazing. The doctor who carried out the first assessment did well. But everything fell apart when they told us that there was NO doctor responsible for ultrasounds at the hospital, they were on alert. This specific doctor was supposed to be at the beach, as it took him over an hour to arrive. When he attended to my wife, he treated it as if it were nothing. A cretin. In a moment of total fragility. Irresponsibility on the part of the hospital for not having a team on duty (probably to save a few bucks) and the doctor is certainly from that new generation who only thinks about fundraising. Ultrasound care was vital for us, regardless of whether it changed the result or not. We just wanted an answer. The doctor (whose name I will refrain from mentioning here, but you will find out from the ombudsman) came in, gave the diagnosis and simply left. He left the rest to the other doctor who attended to us first (very well) and to the nurses. There's no point in having a hospital that prides itself on having whatever it is, with each professional identified by the color of their uniform and having emergency medical care that is rubbish. Ridiculous. Unfortunate for a hospital that was once a reference in the region. As for the doctor, I wish him no harm. I just want life to give him the same treatment he gives his patients. This hospital is terrible!!!! I had an ear problem last month and I went to this hospital that charged me for a consultation without first telling me that they did NOT have an ENT doctor available who could help me (even after having gone through the screening), and now even having spoken to the ombudsman, they claim that I was notified, which is an absurd lie. Good afternoon everybody. My 18 year old daughter was hospitalized on 10/06 with teratomas on her ovary. A huge scare, because we went to the emergency room with suspected kidney stones. We were very scared and very worried, but I would like to record here the excellent and extremely humanized care provided by everyone, without exception, at the hospital. My daughter had recently turned 18 and so I couldn't sleep with her in the hospital, imagine my despair and worry? So, in addition to never being hospitalized, she had to be alone. But, all (without exception) the nurses, receptionists, doctors, were very careful, loving, attentive and caring. I would really like to remember everyone's name (and I recommend that the hospital look at the days of this shift to really recognize these professionals from 10/05 to 11:20 pm to 10/08), but I was very nervous, but, I remember Carol, Kelly, Luana (in the emergency room), Dr Manoel and the team that successfully performed the surgery to remove the teratomas on my daughter.
