Went to emergency department with possible fractured ankle. Staff was very rude and told me to go to primary care clinic. Was also referred to bending health imaging department for scans only to be told to go somewhere else and get it done after being referred to them. Extremely arrogant and rude receptionist.

Went there for a severe oil burn and had to wait more then 8 hours to get checked up. We were told we were second in line 3 people ended up going in before us. An hour and half went by to then get told we were first yet another 3 people went infront! it's outrageous how long you have to wait! And it's was also past 4 in the morning.

Waiting more than 1 hour for a doctors appointment should be illegal why can’t you just book people for a later time? And not waste peoples times for profit. Understand that it might be busy but that is because you overbook for a certain time.

If you ever need to go to hospital I suggest you don't go to this one, one of the worse hospitals in Perth. 1. My grandmother was dying in hospital so naturally all of her family were there to be with her for her last breaths, the staff were rude and wouldn't let us all be with her, these were the last moments we will never get back. Thanks for your compassion Fiona Stanley. 2. My dad had triple bypass surgery after waiting one or two weeks for one of the best open heart surgeons. Surgery all went well apparently. One week after, the hospital called my family to say he was being discharged, my mum and sister got there and the paper work wasn't ready and said they could post it out so they didn't have to wait any longer, which is all fine but... No doctor came to see my family to let them know what kind of care my dad would need or any other information necessary for when he's home. Two days later he died. What was the point for the government in spending so much money on surgeons when patients of major surgery get kicked out of the beds too soon and left to fend for themselves?! The lack of care and compassion for patients and their families is disgusting, I really hope this hospital gets better for the sake of the people of Perth.

The medical support is great. However, more cultural awareness trainings are needed for some of the staff. For the 1st time, today, I've heard a very inappropriate conversation which could negatively affect patients of certain background. I've reported the incident to the Dr in duty who I hope will take care of it for a better well-being of the hospital patients and staff

I gave birth via c section because my son my breech and the whole team were amazing. I felt so comfortable through the whole process. They talked us through everything they were doing as it was happening and our son arrived happy and healthy. We received the best care in the days after giving birth, I couldn't fault the team. Every appointment I had throughout my pregnancy was amazing. As a first time mammy, it was a lovely experience.

We needed a wheelchair for a patient with a disability. You will be sent to the department where you are to be treated at the Utgen primary. In our case, the 15th floor. On the 15th, they told us that we should ask for a wheelchair at the central department. Then go back downstairs and convince the staff there to lend it to us. Ingeniously solved services for patients who waited outside in winter for 35 minutes leaning against a pillar because they couldn't move. It's a shame that I can't post a photo of this communist truck!!!

I came here with a broken foot but I was denied treatment because I don’t speak Slovak.

"Nasty" hospital is what my experience says about this hell in our city. It's a nightmare filled with unpleasant and aggressive behaviour with both patients as well as their family members. The staff has no sense of politeness or social well being and unfortunately they shouldn't have been in this field of serving people. They charge more and care less. If you don't believe my words then please go pay a visit and you'll understand what I'm trying to say.

My father was a patient of Dr Santosh Kumar, who has gone through double knee replacement operation under him. Please note that he personally does not do any operation, does not come to floor or talk to patient. He is just there to recommend patients for knee surgery and then his team does all of the activities on behalf of him. We did not see him or talked to him during the whole admission time. He does not come to floor even. His team was only did the OT. After OT, only the sisters informed us that OT is done and handed over the empty packets of knee transplants.(no interaction with doctor). Even during surgery follow ups, only his junoir doctor saw him. The hospital itself could have been organized in better way. The beds are used are of old days, same lifts are used for patients and visitors which make you wait for long even if you want to go just 1 floor (no stairs). And remember only veg food is provided to the patients. But the staffs and sisters watching over my father were helpful and never showed any attitude. Wish it is same with all the members of the hospital.

Wow, amazingly friendly and very helpful staff at all 3 reception desks (A&E, Urgent Treatment and the general receptiondesk in-between the two), they all know their job/role and were incredibly efficient. Once we found where we were going there was little time to wait as the attentive staff team followed procedures and helped my friend. If I ever need a good hospital in the future I hope I'm close to this one. Thank you to all the staff at all levels. Keep up the great work. 👍 😊

Here today, wednesday 29th November 2023, in St Mary's for day surgery and being looked after wonderfully....absolutely nothing is too much trouble! Staff are so friendly...thankyou Debs and everyone involved for looking after me...you are all a huge credit to the NHS and have made me feel so very relaxed and at ease. For the first time in a long time. I felt like I was listening to the happiest news of something not so good. But after going to AE 4 weekends in a row. Seen the specialist and they are appalled that treated this way and now caused long term irreversible problems.. so if it wasn't for someone listening to me st Mary's would have had 1 star.

Worst ER I have seen, the nurses show zero compassion, waiting time is endless, no proper process for taking patients in is in place, not clean, every time I go there’s blood on the floor which is not cleaned right away. People are left to die, some bleeding some in pain & no one cares. Twice now that I go & I wait hours even before I make it to Triage to get my information taken & i end up leaving.

I was delighted with the treatment I got at Joe Brant last Wednesday, the 18th of October. I arrived around 4PM with a finger I had cut off (I had it with me) and one that was basically dangling. It was a table saw accident. I was greeted immediately and directed to the waiting room. I did have to ask if they should put my finger on ice with the hopes it could be reattached. That was done. The triage nurse was great (sorry, I didn’t get her name) and the person who wrapped my hand the first time equally as great. I eventually got to the back (it was a busy time) and Dr. Terry Hatch came in and assessed my fingers. He told me exactly what was happening and what was going to happen. And then set the wheels in motion. I was re bandaged, sent for X rays given tetanus shots, and then Dr. Hatch came back in and began to work on shaving the bone etc and stitching up my fingers. It was decided that the one would not be reattached, but the other one was to be repaired. I felt very well looked after by the main nurse assigned to me, Dr. Hatch and pretty much everyone else. Dr. Hatch was calm, professional, pleasant and excelled at what he did. All my questions were answered simply and calmly, no matter how silly they may have been. I had some prescriptions for pain and antibiotics, and a referral for an appointment for a plastic surgeon (follow up) before I left. I can’t say enough about Dr. Hatch and the nursing team in Emergency. Thank you so much for what you do, and the way you do it. David

If I could give zero star I would. This is for the emergency service. I woke up this morning with pain in my right hip joint that gradually got worse to the point where I could not sit, bend over, or walk. I could only use the toilet standing up, and could not make any movement from that hip joint and leg at all. My whole leg would feel numb when attempting to walk. Around 10 pm the pain got so bad, I almost called the ambulance. I have been a nurse for 9 years in the hospital setting, I know something is very wrong. I took some pain medications and laid down for 4 hours to have the pain decrease enough to go to the hospital. Thankfully this hospital is across the street for me, so I thought I would use the little strength I had to walk over and be taken care of. The lady at the desk looked at me, checked me in, then called me back up to tell me the doctor will not see me because it is not an emergency. And gave me a list of doctors offices that I could go to. I was not given the decency to be seen or assessed by a doctor, or even a nurse. My hip literally feels like I have dislocated it. What is the sense of going to a doctor’s office when they don’t have xray or any imaging machines? This hospital/ and it’s staff should be ashamed of itself. I would not recommend anyone going here. You will not be taken seriously. I work at Erasmus MC, it is further away, but I will try my luck there in the morning. PS: I just moved to Netherlands a week and a half ago, and started work a week ago. My insurance has not yet been activated but I explained that I could pay out of pocket and had no issues doing so. I would like not to think this could have been a reason I was turned away. But my interaction with the receptionist and the questions she placed emphasis on has left me wondering.

My mother became ill while we were traveling in Italy. Our tour guide sent us to Salvatore Mundi where my mother received excellent care. Y the staff, nurses and doctor. They took care of her right away and the costs of tests, medicine and a private room on a virtually private floor cost a mere $16! Wish we had that type of care and cost here in the States.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. DO NOT COME HERE. I had a terrible experience at SMIH. I thought that I would be in good care as the embassy and my university recommend them as the best place to go while abroad in Rome. I had little to no translators the entire time and was very confused as to what I was being given and uncomfortable about it in all honesty. I have NO privacy at all in my room as nurses would come barging in whenever they needed to without a knock which was also very uncomfortable to me. They did not accommodate to me and I had to practically beg for water and help as my fever started to rise. They were also not helpful when I called translators to help me during the process. The nurses were very vague and rude. I used the best Italian I could and would use google translate to help me with the rest and it still unfortunately not good enough. I was fortunate enough to find a Spanish speaking nurse and it was the first time I had some form of comfort. The main doctor seeing me only saw me once and it was an u pleasant visit as it was just to scold me for wanting to leave. Then when I finally was able to be discharged the nurses and staff were rude, did not give me my diagnosis, my results, follow up or discharge papers. They literally told me “no go home”. Already being frustrated with the treatment I received, alone and confused being in a completely different country trying to revive help I did as they said and just left. Which then later caused me a lot of issues when trying to revive help else where.

I had an injury in my head. I went there and you have to know French. People that helped me did not speak nor English neither Spanish. But the attention was good

NURSES BEHAVE VERY BADLY IN EVERY INSTANCE. DURING CHANGING OF ROOM THEY DONOT GIVE ME A MINUTE TO PREARE MYSELF FOR CHANGING. THEY DONOT TAKE CARE AND ARE VERY RUDE. THEY JUST DONOT CARE. NEVER GO TO THIS PRIVATE HOSPITAL. WORST EXPERIENCE. I REQUEST ALL VIEWERS TO CONTACT MINISTRY OF HEALTH AND HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION TO FORWARD MY MESSAGE. WE HUMAN BEINGS MUST HEALP EACH OTHER TO CHANGE THE SYSTEM.

What a fantastic ER and 1st floor ICU staff. We cannot thank them enough for the care they provided to their patients and address the patients' family's concern. My 80 years old dad that was brought to the ER from another facility in a critical condition and Dr. Mole from the ER provided great care and took the time to call us to give updates. When my dad was shift to the ICU under Dr. Tiu's care she was very easy to talk to. She called us daily to report on my dad's health status. We are so grateful to the doctors, nurses for the amazing care they provide their patients especially given the pandemic. They listen to the families concerns, suggestions when we advocate for our dear ones. They work as a team with the family to help the patient. Thank you for your hard work, dedication and care.

It supposed to be the best Hospital in the Sultanate. Despite all the expertise and the best facilities as well as state of the art equipments. Still the outcome is not as good as it supposed to be. In order to ensure that the best services are provided the management should spend more time in the field rather than sitting in the offices.

We booked a private room for 20 rial a day and 100 rial deposit. The room is around 18m2 (6*3). Contains a bathroom a fridge and a small extra bed. Its located just beside the normal admission beds. The price is a bit high for the room but there was no other options.

My husband recently had spinal fusion surgery at the hospital. There are so many great things about this hospital, but other things that need improvement. First of all, Cristina, in admissions is wonderful. She speaks perfect English (a huge bonus as my Spanish is basic) and she's extremely thorough and caring. The pre and post op care was also amazing. The hospital rooms are huge, with English TV stations and the accommodations are quite comfortable. Most of the staff (nurses, aides, etc...) are also very caring individuals. What didn't go so great is: (1) At check in we were given the rules of the hospital which requires a family member to be with the patient 24/7. This should be given in advance as we had to scramble to get a dog sitter. (2) Cristina, in admissions, asked us what we had been quoted for the procedure. This is something the hospital should already have, and in the end we were charged almost 23,000 pesos for the hospital's surcharge on the titanium metal used to fuse my husband's neck. Basically, the corkage fee for the metal to enter their hospital. We were not told about this by the doctor who gave us the quote. (3) Most of the nursing staff was great but some would let me husband's IV's run dry with alarms going off. This would cause them to come in and run saline solutions through the line which was a bit painful. When I'd go to see why the nurses had not responded to the IV alarms or our pushing the call buttons, they'd just be hanging around the nursing station. (4) Discharge was a traffic jam. The doctor said we could leave around 10:30 and that the bill was ready. I went to the nursing station to inquire and the sent me to the "caja" (cashier) downstairs who told me it wasn't ready yet so went back to the room and waited 2 hours until I finally went back to the nurses stations and requested someone who spoke English to come talk to me. After that, it finally got finished and delivered an hour later. All in all, a good hospital experience but if they are going to try and market to expats and wealthy individuals, there are many kinks in their system that they need to work out.

Very professional, clean hospital with caring nurses, doctors and entire staff. You don't feel like you are in a hospital in terms of decoration, environment and even the smell. I had an operation and was taken care of really perfect. Can not thank you guys enough. More than 5 ⭐. ( There are also many doctor offices on the upper floors which my doctors were too. My husband need to see another specialist so it was so convenient. The laboratory works perfect too. All in 1!)

Top class hospital with lots of doctor's offices upstairs. Plus there's a frozen yogurt place out front.

What a lack of professionalism: - nurses calling each other “amiga” while tending patients in their rooms - residents and nurses rushing into the patients rooms disregarding any privacy and without any education to greet anyone in the room - nurses setting up a workstation in the rooms hallway, meaning they have no respect for patients or visitors need for peace and quiet - poor facilities and lack of maintenance

In general, it is a good service that is provided, with the exception of a nurse who, without having any idea of ​​how to channel, gave my wife her arm with a huge bruise. The staff is very friendly and the facilities are clean and comfortable. The dark one in the rice is the cashier staff, who get annoyed just because, after almost five hours of having discharged a patient, they go to ask them if the documentation to pay is already there. It was a great experience! From the gate to medical care, I was treated very well. Initially, I received information that the expected wait would be two hours and I decided to stay calm, settle in and wait. The important thing was to have already gotten there. After all, everything that seems bad can certainly get worse! So, everything worked out! The doctor on duty is super TOP, attentive, very assertive for her young age. The nursing technician Arnaldo with the hand of an angel that I didn't even feel the discomfort of access. For the laboratory exam I was seen by Jefferson and when I thought it was going to be horrible, he was already done!🫠 The doctor who took the shift and discharged me was also great!!! I went to the hospital a few times, both for consultation and emergency. What I can say is that the Hospital is very organized, has very well trained staff, I have always received very good service on the phone. I saw a lot of people criticizing here and I decided to tell my positive experience, it doesn't mean that I didn't encounter problems, such as a consultation that took 2 hours to wait, but in this case it was an isolated professional, I don't believe that the hospital itself is bad, but Like everywhere, there are good people and others not. The rating I give is 5 stars, as most of the staff are attentive, careful and the structure is excellent! In short, Hospital Santa Joana is of excellent quality, has very well-trained staff, they answer the phone and answer your questions very carefully. I attributed my bad waiting experience to a specific doctor, the others were excellent, so a very good hospital, congratulations!

I had to take my 3 year old daughter to the pediatric emergency room and unfortunately I experienced racism from the first contact with the doctor asking me if I was the mother, because my daughter was white. I've never seen a children's professional not interacting with the child, not conditioning, nothing... Super rude, cold, indifferent. I observed her serving a white family and it was totally different. I felt violated. I don't recommend Santa Joana!

Didn’t have nice experience in this hospital at all! Although the doctors and nurses (some of them) were super nice we spent altogether 13 hours in the general surgery ward in the 5th floor and all they did in this time is took blood and urine analysis and did ultrasound diagnostic. It was 37 degrees outside and the person in pain did not drink or eat all this time!!! When I went arguing with them it turned out that the result was long time ready, they just didn’t feel like calling us, of course the reason of pain wasn’t found and we were sent home without any treatment or diagnosis. Not only they left the person in pain they MADE him wait the whole day after which he got worse.

I was referred by my family doctor with a problem related to water balance. I spent two days in the internal medicine department on the 4th floor of building B as an ambulatory patient. The four stars are because, despite the circumstances, the nurses and doctors stayed where they are and try to make the best of the situation, but it cannot be denied that the conditions are terrible. The department can only provide three meals a day, which is surprisingly good compared to the conditions, bedding, a bed, depending on the supply, infusion and adult diapers, medical examinations, water and electricity. Everything else must be brought, including toilet paper, bottled water, cutlery, hand soap, and towels. As an outpatient, for a short time, for a complete examination, it is worth it, but not for an incontinent patient, and I definitely do not recommend hospitalization for an incontinent AND problematic patient. Several people wrote that the nurses do not deal with the patients, are not helpful and treat the patients like prisoners. Yes, this is true in many cases, but personally, if I had to work in such conditions, for such wages, I would behave in the same way, if not worse.

Reliable clinic with qualified professionals in one well-equipped building. However, prices are rather high, so private medical insurance is recommended. I mainly used insurance with franchise % (partial cover) during the past few years to make all doctor appointments and urgent care. Also I like to buy pirozhki with coffee in a local cafe 🥪 :)

Very accommodating, friendly and helpful staff. It is straightforward to locate the necessary directing signage. clean and well-maintained. The restroom is everywhere. In the waiting spaces, there are couches and drinking water stations. There is a cafe with free internet access and spacious waiting area.

Nice outer image, but Soviet Union on the inside! Customer service is tantamount to what you would expect from the good old Cold War days, with "doctors" that immediately give you the impression that you are beneath them and unworthy of their attention. Very disappointed with my most recent experience despite using them once before and being generally pleased. Come prepared to deal with third-world customer service, a bedside manner that leaves you unsure of what to expect, and doctors that have no empathy much less interest in being kind and professional.

The worst hospital that anyone can go to. I have no idea why the emergency reception is like this. I went there with a bad situation and I had to wait a couple of hours to be visited by a doctor. It's really funny how the situation is like there. Unfortunately, there are not many options in the city when you get sick during the weekend ie Saturday. At first, I went to the med campus and they said the only option is this hospital. After a couple of hours of waiting my condition got worse and I decided to come back home. Just go there if you are about to die otherwise staying at home is much better.

We went on a saturday morning for an urgency and received medical attention in less than 20 minutes, everyone was very polite and professional

Hospitals should hire more suitable doctors. In my opinion, clinics that deal with sensitive things, where patient has take off their clothes when required, there should be male and female doctors. Because not many people feel comfortable having to undress to be examined by a doctor of the opposite gender. Also there are many cases that the docter is not doing what he should do.

This review is really a big thanks and dedication to Weronika Sowa, my coordinator for months of preparation. Incredibly professional, friendly, accomodating to all requests, responsive and supportive with fantastic communication. Big part of my decision to proceed with Allmedica was because of the experience with Weronika. Allmedica are beyond lucky to have such an impeccable dedicated professional! (Considering coming to Nowy Targ was the most inconvenient option of all - but actually worked out perfectly) Secondly to Dr Lukasz Worchol who performed my axillary surgery. Straightforward, professional and even diagnosed other potential contradictions. I would use his services again. The entire Allmedica team were competent and supportive, even though we were reliant on translations between polish and English. Everything was super smooth and the Anesthesia team - the best, it's really down to the general anesthesia that made my Post-surgery experience shockingly great! I ended up adding additional medical services last minute (thanks to Weronika) dental work with the Dr Skrzypek and the hygienist- absolutely fantastic work. She managed to provide some insights and answers to potentially other issues outside of dental diagnosis. Super grateful. Also a thanks to Oskar and the beautiful girls at reception - you know who you are 😉. I would highly recommend Allmedica and would use the services again.

This clinic is a joke, an appointment with a dermatologist scheduled for September was then moved by Allmedica to December, on November 10, I received another call from Allmedica informing me that the visit had been moved to February!!! You must be in good health to use the services of this clinic; a sick person has a high chance of not making it to the scheduled appointment.

Lack of professionalism in registration!!!! I am moved by the approach. I come in person because there was a problem with making an appointment online, I also couldn't call. I report it to the box at the beginning of the call and ask for help, but I'm sent to the screen at the back. Mrs. Paulina B. will not help. He says he can't help me because that's their procedure. (NOT helping those asking for help???) I will only add that she was not busy with anything except talking to her friends. So I have to waste more minutes. I go to the window again to make sure I remember the doctor's name correctly, I wait because Mrs. P. is helping the young boy, now the procedures are different. Data such as: PESEL number can be heard throughout the entire waiting room. telephone number, address, etc. Truly professional. Mrs. P. only helps me when I ask for her name and surname. He continues to cover himself with procedures. As a result, I book the necessary visit, but in such a situation I give up the other two visits for myself and my daughter. I feel great disgust.

I am a regular patient of Dr. Jim Mathew of Al ghusais Mediclinic He is an an amazing Dr. People once visited him, always meet him. I do remember my child hood days, wherein Dr. used to touch and understand your disease without any support of devices. Dr. Jim is such kind of person, will direct and diagnose correctly. His nurses are also very good in caring patients.

They take the time to listen attentively to my health concerns, thoroughly explaining the diagnosis and treatment options in a manner that is easy to understand. Their patience and willingness to address all my questions and doubts is truly commendable. The clinic itself is impeccably clean and well-maintained, creating a hygienic environment. The combination of excellent medical care, friendly staff, and a patient-centered approach made me feel valued and cared for as an individual. Kudos to the entire team!!!
