Not possible to schedule appointment via phone, only email. Very long waiting time, appointments are always late for 30-60mins or longer, and management does not notify about delays, patients time is not respected at all.

**^Racism warning. I met with Dr Raquel Vieira to have my implant taken out as me and my husband wanted to start trying for children. Firstly she wouldn’t let him be in the room even after I insisted. Then during the procedure she proceeded to tell me “COLOURED men like to have many wives” and told me I needed to “really check” to see if he had other wives, and children I didn’t know about. This was extremely shocking to hear, coming from Sweden and the U.K. I felt very uncomfortable as she was stitching me up I was in shock and felt very unsafe around this doctor. I can only imagine how she would treat me if I was darker skinned or god forbid decided to make her my doctor for my pregnancy. Very unprofessional and unpleasant let alone racist and illegal.

Came here for an emergency with my travel insurance during my vacation on a Portuguese public holiday. We were received well and in timely manner.

My husband, Kevin, had spinal surgery on Friday 19th May. The care and skill of the surgeon, Dr. Ricardo Frada and of the team of nurses, auxiliaries and the physio on the ward- fantastic. The hospital is very clean and pleasant and the patients’ rooms have natural light and plenty of space. Even the food was high quality. We would both recommend this hospital very highly for spinal or orthopaedic surgery.

High quality hospital with quick response time and professional staffs

My wife and I have been going to this hospital for a couple of years. We have a family doctor (always late but doctors do have other patients with problems that need intervention, I like to think) speciality doctors for hematology, dermatology, gynecology and urology. They all have a specified amount of time to allot to each patient for consultations so sometimes it seems rushed but they have all been very professional and in almost all cases attentive and caring. The hospital is very busy and i think the receptionists do an excellent job of helping patients.

Mammogram and ultrasound checks everyone's helpful. Friendly and professional felt relaxed with all the helpful doctors .nurses and receptionistist would give them more stars 🌟 then five

Recepcionists who answer the phone are hysterical and rude. The worse!! The lady who answered to me and didn’t want to transfer to her boss or the person I called for, started yelling as crazy to me. Asking me personal information but she denied to give me even her name or transfer the call. I even advise her to take a valium and she hung up on me. Crazy lady

Excellent hospital, very well located and with great access. There is always parking. The level of care is excellent, both from the clinical staff and from the nursing staff and assistants. They usually keep to the schedules for both the exams and the appointments. Very clean and tidy. Very good facilities and with excellent means of diagnosis. My experience was excellent from booking to the end! The staff are super attentive, good professionals, the facilities and equipment are in very good condition. Fast, convenient, in the best way possible! The password machine was broken, but the technician resolved the problem within minutes! It is noted that the management of the unit is carried out by the team that knows what they are doing. Thank you for such a good service!

Long live the privatization (commodification) of health! I had the first-person experience yesterday that you can't be sick on the weekend, or at certain times, because it might not be as profitable for the company. I don't understand where such a large chunk of the state budget for health goes, when a person happens to need medical services at 4:15 on a Saturday afternoon and the hospital is unable, or unwilling, to respond. I had to go to S. João to be seen, because while these leeches absorb taxpayers' money, local public hospitals are left without the means to provide an efficient service for everyone, without exception.

I had the worst experience in care, I had an obstetrics consultation, and Dr.Ana Branco, who attended to me, was extremely rude, I felt offended, talked about my country of origin and even revealed the sex of my baby, without even asking. If you would like to know, you leave the room completely destabilized, I'm thinking like a doctor who treats pregnant women, doesn't have the slightest bit of empathy! It's a shame to pay so much for a consultation and go through a situation like this! I chose Hospital da Luz, because I believed that there would be excellent professionals there to assist me, especially at such a sensitive stage, which is often pregnancy! But I would give 5 stars to the nurse and attendants who were super friendly and attentive, the opposite of the doctor.

Good experience in the A&E but regular appointments get very delayed. The doctor was 29 minutes late for my appointment. Not a good use of my time.

I had a horrifying experience with Manuela Soares. I do not wish to post my personal details here, but this woman should NOT be allowed to see patients. I filed a complaint and the hospital said they “investigated” but didn’t contact me or make any attempts to solve this issue. Better to be safe and go to Luz Hospital.

I've been to this hospital 4 times in 6 years and always had a very good experience (as good as it can be while sick or injured). Staff and doctors are friendly, speak English. It's well organized, services are pretty close to each other and we're given good guidance. The service coverage by insurance is excellent, I've gotten out of here with consultation + 4 exams done including multiple X-rays and blood analysis paying only 20€, while clinics charge 70 for a basic consultation. If anything, material seems insufficient: I've seen cleaning staff having to ask doctors for gloves and my doc's computer froze regularly, stalling the consultation ~15 mins.

Simply disgusting quality of service from the administration. I give them one star! Alternatively, the hospital management enter the kpi for their work. The more people you serve, the more your salary will be, because it’s unbearable, they do everything they want, just not their work.

Very expensive and very unresponsive... the only hospital in Greece that doesn't send you the results of the tests if you don't ask for them or you don't go to get them yourself..! worst customer service ever

I had a constant pain in my intestine, went there and did all examinations, they told I had nothing, and I should seek psychological help. I went to another hospital and they found I had a big polypus inside my intestine and they removed it surgically. Finally I feel releaf after 1 year of constant pain.

A big scam, my girlfriend stood for just 4 hours they charged me 700€ , they said will check with my assurance and call me back , but never show up, they took more than 290€ for simple check up, while i have coverage from assurance 200€, the staffing is rude and they don t explain anything. Advice go to public hospital there they will take care of you and never ask for money. Such a shame , they use people health to get rich

Open letter to Profesor Zielinski I wanted to tell you that I’m very disappointed with you and your clinic. Now, after my father’s death and Mr. Suta’s (the patient from Targu Mureș) also I’m convinced that you are guided only by profits and you are not concerned about the wellbeing of patients. We have sent you translated medical reports, pet CT’s and other imagistic investigations, blood tests and you didn’t even have the decency to look over them and tell us it’s not worth making the trip giving how advanced was their condition. You could have done what the doctors from Szeged hospital did for me and say that there is nothing you could do for my father and with regrets I cannot take your money and leave our country with a negative perception about our medical services. They said that because they looked over the investigations I sent them. But no sir you were too blinded by money and we were so desperate to save our fathers that we believed you. Shame on you. I guarantee these are words well thought and not said in anger.

All the people super friendly. If something took longer, it was only because there were patients who needed to be treated more urgently. Some people probably forget that here in the evaluation. As far as you can say about a hospital stay, I had a good time there.The staff is international and with many languages. I was diagnosed with serous ovarian carcinoma and after resection of the carcinoma by a Romanian doctor, director of a private hospital in Bucharest, in a boundless desperation I contacted the best clinics in the world, specialized in oncology. The commercial representative of the WPK hospital, Mr. Alexandru Pop, was the first to contact us and was the only one who convinced us to buy tickets to Vienna. We had all the appointments made by the minute, he walked with us and empathized every moment. Thanks to him, I got to the best specialist in gynecological surgery, the most wonderful woman who rushed all my procedures in order to be able to proceed with the surgery. In the worst moment of my life, when I read despair on the children's faces and I felt helplessness and frustrated, this wonderful woman, , Prof. Dr. B. Schurz, gave us a chance. The hospitalization period was 8 days and I received the best care possible. The staff was by far very professional and very empathetic, as well as the nurses. I felt treated like a family member. The sales representative came to me twice a day, called me and asked me all the time what else I needed or if I was satisfied. Because of my diagnosis, even if I came at the very early stages, I will still have to proceed with 6 chemotherapy sessions with one of the best oncologists in the world, Prof. Dr. Zielinski. I recommend the clinic with great confidence.

Our two children were born in this hospital in 2019 and 2023. We can only report positive things about our time here. You felt very cared for and the entire team is extremely competent, motivated, courteous and friendly. It is important to me to mention this and thank you for all your efforts. I had the most horrible experience in the gynecology department here, my house doctor told me to go to the emergency room and when I got in for my consultation the doctor told me my problem is not an emergency and that there are people who actually need help. It was my first time seeing a gynecologist and she asked me if I have been before and I said no because I was not financially able to ever before and she almost laughed at me and said „no doctors in your country?“ she was clearly bothered by the fact that I asked her if we can speak in English. After she consulted me she said she can’t give me a diagnostic and than gave me a prescription without a diagnostic. She made me feel very uncomfortable, she made fun of me and where I come from, made me feel like I am not worth helping even tho my house doctor did. That woman should not be a doctor of any kind she was horrible!

We were in the children's hospital last night with our 10-week-old daughter and were really excited. Of course it was to wait but that's the way it is now. The doctors and the nurse were super nice and took really good care of our mouse. Our mouse obviously felt good, despite being in a really bad mood. During the examination she made the whole team and us smile and laugh. We felt very well cared for. Thanks!

Banana Republic of Croatia, nonfunctional, corrupt and messy. That is the summary of your wonderful hospitals.

They are the largest hospital center in Croatia and have the best equipment. That's the biggest plus. After that the personal is overworked and somewhat rude; and it gets worse and worse as they climb the hierarchy. Organisation overall is mediocre and dictated directly by politics, failures in organisation are then blamed on the people who work there.

A large hospital dating from the 70s, partly renovated, with many specialties and relatively correct care but very uncertain depending on the services as in many public assistance hospitals in general... We can therefore go there from heaven to hell, often with adorable and caring teams in intensive care or intensive care units and other totally overwhelmed teams with little regard for their patients because they are understaffed in many others services...

On the 3rd floor Orthopedic department: Caregivers, nurse, friendly staff overall 👍 Arthrodesis + laminectomy operation Dr Solène Prost service teacher Tropiano All the pain went well and was well treated. 5 days hospital Return home for 4 weeks to recover peacefully. Then start of physiotherapy rehabilitation.

I was taken to the Urgences here by ambulance and I have never had such an awful experience. The nurse who was looking after me was completely cold and uncaring despite the fact I has a blocked intestine and was not only I’m agony but kept blacking and vomiting. At one point when he saw me vomiting he said “don’t you think you are exaggerating a bit”! It took 6 hours before I had a scan and in that time I was left alone and given no blanket despite being soaked in sweat from the pain. When I finally went upstairs to the operating theatre, the experience was much better. I know this hospital has some great doctors and the surgeon who operated on me did an amazing job. My criticism is uniquely directed at the a&e “urgences” here which is just not good enough. All the staff were uncaring and cold and I felt scared and abandoned which is not what one should feel in hospital. Sorry, but a little more humanity would mean less stress to patients!

Today we visited the allergy department with our child. I really liked the service. The doctor spoke very nicely with my child. The inspection was good. We did an allergy test. Everything is fine and I'm very happy😊

My husband received wonderful care at A&E and intensive care after experiencing a heart attack on holiday last October 2022. Speedy treatment and attentive nursing while in CHU for two weeks prior to repatriation to the UK. Could not have had better treatment. A huge thank you to the doctors and staff who looked after him. We are very grateful.

My brother Christopher had the most excellent care in accident and emergency for a pulmonary embolism. I know he is very grateful to the drs and nurses that night. They were kind caring and amazingly speedy to diagnose and find a medication. Compared to the normal experience in the U.K. the French system that night was incredible and they also called him back for a check up in a week, again with an amazing dr so sympathetic, that would be two to three months in the U.K. The staff treated him with dignity and compassion. I got the referral of a doctor, ginecologist for a problem that I have been dealing for too long. The doctor received me in few days after the contact and was quite receptive to my concerns and requests which required diligent action in a short period of time due to my work leave (also very short). We set a date for the sugery and I was impressed that the contact was very speedy and allowed me to send every remaining document by email . I asked for a quotation of the total price, that was sent to me few days prior to the sugery, in which stated the total value of the intervention and hospital fees. All the inconvenience started after surgery: the nurses not atentive at all, always in a rush to fill you up with drugs and leaving you behind without even trying to understand what was going on for each case since they receive many pacients for plastic surgery therefore they assume all patients are there for the same " vain" reasons. I was there for other reasons, but even so I had paid my entire bill like anyone, so I deserved the private quality service I was paying for. The health assistants were also very rude and whenever I would press the button to call for assistance during night shifts , they were the first to come instead of medical nurses and they were the ones to evaluate weather you were or not entitled to be given assistance. I required very scarce times their assistance and just preferred to crawl by my on and manage what I needed. I stumbled once and no one came to check up on me, if there were consequences. Water was giving rarely, some would save the bottles if you had other sitting on the night stand. 3 days enduring that, without being able to complain, or having relatives come and check for me. My family leaved in another city. (Husband who stayed with the kids). After i left the nurse who took the last cateter made me bleed perfusively and i almost fainted. The personel took me to take the cab with no wheelchair, I had to walk for 10 min after being laying for 3 days. I have been living in Paris, hospitalized there, lived in US also hospitalized there, been in a private clinic in Brazil where I gave birth South africa private hospitals and also were really wonderfully treated. This was by far the WORST experience and service provider! NEVER will I recommend it nor use it any time !

I have contacted hospital via email on 03.10.2023, to specify the price of chemotherapy course for my father. Today is already 30.10.2023, and I still didnt get any response. I am not a doctor, but I am sure that response for a people who need a chemotherapy course couldn't be around one month. In case you value the lives of your loved ones, please do not contact this place.

Infrastructure of the clinic is a disaster. I couldn't even find an elevator to other floor, then I waited for 15 minutes in wrong places, it its not clear where to go, no one tell you the right place to wait. Why not to do 1 reception and then lead people to consultation directly, this micro management is awful

The Family Planning and IVG service is incredible, I recommend 100% Welcoming, smiling, attentive and open-minded care. I made an appointment for a contraceptive consultation and the installation was done the same day. I was also offered to do STI screenings directly and even given the opportunity to discuss it with the counselor/psychologist available in place. Highly recommended !

I think one of the best hospitals in terms of "gynecological emergencies", good care, less waiting and the staff is friendly. I met a gynecologist who took care of me really TOP. on the other hand the level 2 nurses, not all of them but the good ten that I had to meet who wanted them to explain my whole situation in front of everyone when it's not easy and they didn't care, I found their attitude quite a pity but really this hospital is TOP.

Very warm welcome at the nuclear medicine department, the nurses, doctors and receptionists are all very empathetic and smiling. What a pleasure to be cared for and taken care of like this when I imagine that it must not be easy for them every day. Perfect 👍

Ridiculous service. A lot of queue. They have no idea what they are talking about. Cant even give a simple antibiotic. Useless.

I unfortunately fractured my arm during my holiday to beautiful Salzburg. My experience of my time in the hospital was second to none, fantastic holistic care from start to finish. All staff were extremely curteous, polite, friendly, professional and genuinely cared. Care flowed well in a very swift manner, just what you need when injured. All the worry of payment was handled from the hospital to my insurance provider which was a comfort. Thank you

I had visited this hospital with my husband for a normal check up. and upon arriving I was informed that we would have to pay an outpatient fee of 229 euro and no other fee will be charged. hence we got all the check up done that was necessary. we had visited on 3rd October and on 14th December, I receive a bill of 700 euro via email stating that I am yet to pay the over and above bill which was ridiculous of them, and upon which they state that the bill is made after 4-6 weeks and then it is sent to the patient and ideally a patient should be informed at the same moment what their bill is and then only a hospital gives discharge to any patient or writes down any medicines but we were let go and after 2 months we receive more bill from their side. this is very bad intentions from their side and kindly refrain from going here as this is only a tactic to give a bill later on.

After a car accident I have been transferred to this hospital and I haven’t doubted for a second if I were in good hands. The doctors and nurses looked after me very well, from the first moments being in the ambulance to the last minute leaving the hospital a few days later. Grateful for the good care I got here.

Everyone is very helpful, except for the Doctor who was constantly going for smoke breaks, not taking any time to analyse and completely missing my diagnosis.

We took our son because of pain in lower abdomen, and met more than kind, careful and friendly personel, who had so much patience due to our lack of German language knowledge and provided explanation in English. Appendix surgery has done the same day-we were alowed to be with our child during the wake from nnarcosis and during ghe whole process frindly and kind nurses provided the best possible care. A big thank you to every single person who was a part in this journey. The only.unpleasent experience was the worker (lady) in accounting deprtment-she was so rude and impolite and clearly showed that she is more than annoyed with my bad German. So much that she was cinic and ironic. But I didn't want to give one star less because of some frustrated national-oriented insignificant person :-)

I had heart bypass surgery. I didn't expect such warmth from all the nurses, doctors and nurses in times like these. A lot of people should go there and learn how to deal with people. Many thanks to all of these departments, you are great!!!

Excellent service! Attended the mouth, jaw and face unit after experiencing extreme pain in my tooth whilst on a European road trip. I was seen very quickly, x rayed and diagnosed with a severe tooth infection. I was offered multiple choices for treatment and was given a prescription for pain relief with directions to a local pharmacy. The dentists we're excellent, even with a slight language barrier. I'm now back in England and struggling to even see a dentist. I wish my experience was as good here. Brilliant, thank you.
