This hospital is terrible!!!! I had an ear problem last month and I went to this hospital that charged me for a consultation without first telling me that they did NOT have an ENT doctor available who could help me (even after having gone through the screening), and now even having spoken to the ombudsman, they claim that I was notified, which is an absurd lie. What I take away from this is that in addition to having terrible service and incompetent nurses, they also lie. Don't go to Santa Paula, they won't solve your problem, and then they will claim that “you were too stunned to understand” which is an absurd lack of empathy and humanity for a hospital to say something like that.

Second time this week I spent this week in the emergency room of this hospital, because the medicines prescribed by the doctors are not relieving my pain, I have flu-like symptoms. I haven't slept almost at all this week and today in particular, I stayed up all night feeling a lot of pain. It is not possible that I will have to go to the emergency room for the third time. If I go, it won't be in this hospital. Update: I went to the emergency room for the third time this week, but in another hospital, I was howling in pain, I knew something was wrong, as I was feeling very ill and didn't get better with any prescribed medication. I was diagnosed with sinusitis in another hospital, I remember that the last doctor at this hospital said it was nothing serious and didn't even give me an antibiotic and said it was influenza. Good afternoon everybody. My 18 year old daughter was hospitalized on 10/06 with teratomas on her ovary. A huge scare, because we went to the emergency room with suspected kidney stones. We were very scared and very worried, but I would like to record here the excellent and extremely humanized care provided by everyone, without exception, at the hospital. My daughter had recently turned 18 and so I couldn't sleep with her in the hospital, imagine my despair and worry? So, in addition to never being hospitalized, she had to be alone. But, all (without exception) the nurses, receptionists, doctors, were very careful, loving, attentive and caring. I would really like to remember everyone's name (and I recommend that the hospital look at the days of this shift to really recognize these professionals from 10/05 to 11:20 pm to 10/08), but I was very nervous, but, I remember Carol, Kelly, Luana (in the emergency room), Dr Manoel and the team that successfully performed the surgery to remove the teratomas on my daughter. I couldn't spend 24 hours with my daughter in the 3 days she was there, but I'm sure that God chose all the people who took care of her correctly. I have never been ignored in a hospital, not even in the same unit, but this time it was different. I was seen by the doctor Raphael Augusto Travernard Neves de Oliveira CRM 119677, he asked about my symptoms, I explained that last year I had a migraine attack for 2 months (I was even admitted to the same hospital, in addition to undergoing several tests), finally I was diagnosed with anxiety and chronic sinusitis due to low immunity. After I explained my entire case, according to the doctor and my clinical condition in his eyes, I was “just having a cold”. On 10/23/2023 I was admitted to the hospital to have my cesarean section, so far everything was fine, everything was perfect with the service. However, my newborn was born with a lingual frenulum and no one from the medical team informed me about this. For me, A VERY SERIOUS MISTAKE, especially because the test in maternity is the law. I had a lot of difficulty breastfeeding even with a full breast in the hospital and no pediatric doctor gave me any guidance. One of the nurses told me that the pediatrician on duty was asking me for permission to take the formula, as the right-handed man was showing low blood sugar levels and NOBODY... gave me this very IMPORTANT information and obviously I didn't accept it, as my chest was sore. so full. I was discharged on Thursday 10/26 and only found out about the frenulum on 10/30 when I went to a private pediatrician, by which time my son had already lost a lot of weight. Since 10/30 I've been fighting with my little one, where he needed surgery on the lingual frenulum and only now after almost 20 days did my son start eating properly. I was extremely disappointed with this and even with the information that my son was born at 37 weeks, and the correct one was 39s and 2 d. Unfortunately, I am very hurt and disappointed with the negligence of the professional who was supposed to inform me of this very important information. The rest, such as the nursing team, cleaning and food, were all wonderful.

Terrible hospitalization, few employees, they make the patient do the work, you need to call or ask for sheets, pillowcases, bath towels via QRCOD, I asked for a bathtub so I could bathe my baby, it took more than an hour to arrive, the employee who brings it the bathtub cannot bring towels, the patient needs to use the hospital system to request towels, sheets, pillowcases, hygiene items... and 1 item at a time, in an order you cannot, for example, request sheets, towels and blanket, you have to order one item at a time for the companion and the patient. I am the companion responsible for my 5 month old baby, I also have the flu, I requested hot water to make tea at 10 pm and they told me that the kitchen in a HOSPITAL does not work at night, I have never seen this, an emergency room, a patient in hospitalization and not having hot water. They serve 3 meals a day, breakfast at 7:00 am, lunch at 1:00 pm and dinner at 7:00 pm, during these intervals if you want to order something via app, you cannot go down to reception to receive it, no one at reception can go up to bring your food and no staff can look at your child who is hospitalized for you to go down to reception for 3 minutes to receive the food, you are forced to go hungry or buy it at the hospital cafe. My rating for hospitalization is terrible, if I need it again I won't come back here, good accommodation but the system is terrible service, not even a public hospital is that bad.

The structure of the building is good, but the service is lacking. In the office building there is no air conditioning and it is 35ºC hot. It is absurd that a private hospital environment does not have a decent structure to serve its clients!

I underwent a total thyroidectomy surgery on 08/17 and I was very well taken care of, from the time I arrived until I left (08/18). I would like to thank the entire team of Dr. Reginaldo Fujita, all the nurses and doctors in the recovery sector and all the nurses, physiotherapists and other employees in the hospitalization sector, for their love, care and patience. The structure of the hospital is wonderful (bedroom, operating room, recovery room)!!! My only complaint is about parking…..absurdly expensive. My mother paid 122.00 to stay 1 day with me!

I had septum surgery at this hospital and it went smoothly. Nurse Roberto took care of me with care. I stayed in room 509 where everything was organized and clean. Dr. Moacir's surgical team is very careful.

TERRIBLE ATTENDANCE! I was admitted due to a fall, with acute pain in my leg and the professional who was pushing my wheelchair pressed my foot, the leg that couldn't handle the pain, against the wall and without even apologizing, left. He returned with medication, applied it without any guidance or explanation and left. The doctor barely assessed it, he just said that I didn't have a fracture and sent me away without even referring me to a specialist and requesting tests such as MRI. And I still had to put up with a rude professional when I asked to leave. I went in with acute pain and came out worse.

Staff are friendly, courteous and very helpful. I was discharged from other hospital and was advised to wait for call after 18 hours of excrutiating pain, I was sent home with nothing just that re-assuring words from not-so-friendly nurse that "doctor will just call me" and Leukocytes already almost doubling, CT and UTZ both showing abnormalities, as a healthcare provider myself, knowing something is already wrong, decided to go to Sunnybrook. The moment you enter ER, you will greeted by friendly old lady who will assist you on their process of registration. ER nurses are very friendly and doctors will let you feel you're human with feelings. They're all efficient and knowledgable. I was admitted shortly after and did not wait long. I will be forever be grateful.

September 6, 2023 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Today, I had an appointment with my MS doctor at Sunnybrook. Having been here for appointments in the past, I've always been impressed with the high-quality service they provide. Parking is conveniently located near the front entrance, and there are nearby pay stations for easy access. Inside, they have hand sanitizing stations and provide masks, and you'll find plenty of helpful staff to answer any questions and guide you through the hospital. Wheelchairs are also readily available at the entrance. I have the utmost satisfaction with Dr. Lee, who consistently takes the time to address all my questions and ensures I have a clear understanding of my medical plan. I feel incredibly fortunate to have access to such excellent healthcare services.

Visited Sunnybrook Hospital as a guest of a patient. Volunteer staff was very helpful and able to guide us to the correct wing of Hospital. There is an ATM on the 1st floor close to the information desk. There are hand sanitizing throughout the hospital and at the main entrance there is also a self dispensing mask station which was very convenient. Gift store had very friendly staff and there was such a wide variety of toys, puzzles, t-shirts, stationary, greeting cards and everything in between alongside some gadgets. The areas of the hospital visited were very well kept.

I had a day surgery in this hospital. It was my first time to have a surgery with general anesthesia, so I was quite nervous. However, it didn't take much longer to figure out that there was no need to be anxious at all, as all the medical staff who treated me were so kind and friendly. They naturally eased my anxiety. Each time I interacted with each of them, I was quite impressed by their professionalism. After detailed explanation of what would happen, my surgery started on time and went well. My dad just had a quadruple bypass, the care and attention he receiving is incredible and putting us all at ease. The surgery went perfect and he's doing very well. We can't thank you enough, after a few not so great experiences earlier after his stroke at other hospitals in the east end (not all their fault staffing issues are brutal) this has been a night and day difference. We are having our first baby here. We've been going frequently(due to our high risk pregnancy). They are amazing, and accommodating!! this is the only hospital that has ever made me feel comfortable and cared for. went in thinking I had heart problems and they connected me with a psychiatrist as it turned out to be stress related. they took my concerns seriously and made me feel cared for ❤️ even staff that weren’t caring for me were comforting as they passed by and this is coming from someone who has extremely bad experiences from hospitals. our healthcare system is flawed but these people did their best to help me today and i appreciate it.

I was at Urgent Care at Concordia Hospital and be transferred to St-Boniface Hospital for a treatment of a group of specialists. I was very well taken care of by the doctors, the nurses and the staff. I’m very grateful and would not hesitate to recommend to any patient if you are admitted to St-Boniface Hospital. My experience at the hospital : Right as we walked In they take us into a small room asked for the money! Our money got taken, immediately . I mean as soon as we walked in $5,950 +580. I was so terrified that every time they took my blood pressure it was extremely high! My blood pressure continued to be high as Martiza kept getting defensive, talking over us and defending her unprofessionalism and her greedy actions . She did not try to be sympathetic or understanding. She made sure to talk over us, making sure we didn’t get heard , and that only what she wanted to say and wanted done being the only thing was being accomplished. My constant fear of being scammed I asked for receipts for all the money that had been given to her, she was annoyed at the fact, and stormed out! I was taken to a room where more test were done . The surgeon came in poked at where he wanted to work on. They wheeled me into the operating room. I woke up with no surgery done at all! When I woke up I was asked by a man in the operating room with a terrifying look on his face if I couldn’t remember what happened? I told him no! The other doctor in the room with the almost same look but more of fear & concern, said SO YOU REALLY CANNOT REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED?? Once again , I told him no, I wasn’t being told what happened instead they all were terrified!! I was wheeled back into the room where my husband was waiting for me. There my husband asked me if I knew what happened? I told him no, but he had the same look of terror in his eyes. He then told me I had died . The surgeon told the nurses to get him where he proceeded to tell my husband that there was a complication and that my heart stopped after my larynx closed on me and that they had to preform chest compressions and that I was brought back and was stable , that as soon as I could get enough of the anesthesia to ware off , I would be brought back to my room to him. They then told him they only got to make the holes for the operation but no operation took place and they could not operate due to the “ complications “ They brought me back to room after that my surgeon Dr. Sariana disappeared completely! We never saw him again. There was another surgeon called in and he was the one we delt with . The consultation service group disappeared with my money . Sent me charges that now doubled my original quote. Now I have no surgery and my money’s been stolen due to their negligence. But I’m being charged due to the hospital not wanting to discharge us and said we must stay a extra nights here! Even though we wanted to leave we were told we would not be able to be discharged until the surgeon discharged us and he refused to do so and left us there accumulating charges for extra nights. When I was finally discharged the nurse said they had destroyed the vein where I had my IV and said no fluid was even going in anymore it was just all accumulating in my body. I was able to make a stop payment for the cashiers check that the consultation company wanted to keep even though they didn’t preform my surgery. They kept $850. Dollars I payed them in cash . But now they are charging me for the hospital stay I didn’t have a choice on, and I want the hospital to know that this whole experience has been a night mare. These people that you have working in your hospital are scam artist and I hope you think twice before you let portofino consulting do this to any other poor women who put their trust in this company. I came to this hospital in October 2021 to get a tubal reversal. We made the decision to go to Mexico for surgery because of the cost compared to the U.S and I don’t regret my decision! It was clean, professional, and comfortable. The doctor who performed my surgery explained everything to my husband and I thoroughly and even showed us pictures. Although I do recommend taking someone with you if you can, who is bilingual because some of the nurses and I had trouble communicating since I don’t know Spanish, luckily my husband does and was able to translate things though. Maritza was the person who facilitated the appointment and was very responsive, she even met us at the hospital on a Saturday (the day of my appointment) to check us in. Most importantly though my tubal reversal was successful! I’ve had an hsg procedure back home in San Diego which confirmed this. I have not gotten pregnant yet though but I’m hopeful it will happen soon.I just wanted to share my experience to any other person it may help.

I highly recommend anyone who is thinking of having a sort of medical procedure this is the place to have it done. I am over the moon with how well I was treated by not only the nurses and hospital staff but Dr. S, Dr. Mariana, Penelope and Maritza were exceptionally wonderful to work with. Terrible service, old rooms, they charge you ghost expenses. I believe that the morning nurses are not paid well, because they do things reluctantly, they make faces at you, they do not come soon, they are not organized in patient care, they do not disinfect the thermometers every time they come to take signs. . I found myself sick in Mexico City and after some hesitation I took myself to Angeles. I am from the United States and my review will be from the perspective of someone who is used to USA healthcare. Angeles was amazing when it came to everything important. My intake was awkward but the woman who helped me did everything she could for me since I was incapable at that time. The doctors where amazing and everything to do with my diagnostic evaluation was efficient and professional. (however, unlike in the USA, the doctors took there time to perform a complete evaluation and were not rushed). The emergency room care was also excellent. When I left the emergency room and went to a normal room things were not as good, in fact I was pretty angry with my nurse there. I was blessed to have a friend in Columbia to use for translation but everything to do with being in the regular room and paying my bill was extremely awkward. Hospital translation services were never made available to me. Regardless, I feel like the healthcare I received was excellent and I would never hesitate to use Hospital Angeles. I found my care here to be at least equivalent if not superior to the care I'm used to in the USA

This is the worst hospital experience I've had in my life. I arrived to the emergency room at noon and left at 4 PM whit out being attended to. They charged me $290 USD upon arrival and then made me whit for 2 hours. When they finally call me in, the doctor looked at me 30 seconds and ordered an ultrasonic check that NEVER came. Finally I decided to leave as the lack of attention, the negligence, the lack of information, the complete disregard for my problem and obviously the time spent doing absolutely nothing and listening to the nurses laugh and joke around out side my cubicle, got the best of me. When I decided to leave they made me what another 45 minutes just to return my deposit and give me back my ID which was retained! (Yes the take your official ID and they DON'T give it back until they secure your payment. This is illegal by the way) by the receptionists. By the way, I came to the ER with an internal bleeding due to a fall. The Traumatology "Dr. Jenny" gave me 30 seconds to look at the huge hematoma I had, and then one hour later another 30 seconds to give me the "self leave paper" to sign. NEVER She gave me any indication or had the intention to help me. In fact she said "there is nothing I can do". AVOID THIS EMERGENCY ROOM AT ALL COSTS!

Worst hospitals only into making money I could have got my treatment done cheaper in the USA...they just dump what ever they want for kidney stone laser treatment and stay was a bomb 210000 pesos+80000 for doctors fees...they will empty ur pockets with sweet talks beware doctors are good you could use their services in other hospitals....the taxation department should look into these scamsters

The attention from the nursing staff left much to be desired, it is supposed to be a first-class hospital for such poor service. Omission of analgesics, failure to follow instructions left in writing by the doctor. They ask about food preferences and allergies so they can ignore them. Violation of patients' rights, even though all staff have them attached to their chests on their identification. Not a cheap bill (>200k) for such bad service.

It is a very clean, beautiful hospital, obviously also in the area, the consultations are a little expensive, but they take great care of you. I fully recommend Doctor David Mazza 🫰🏼

A modern, clean, well-located and very well-equipped hospital. The rooms are spacious, well-organized and the facilities are of excellent quality. Very large parking lot, the signs in the hallways are very clear, but the staff is also very friendly and helpful, they are happy to help you if you can't find something. At the entrance there is a Starbucks Coffee with fresh and tasty food and on the other side a grocery and drinks store. From the entrance there is a very nice view.

I asked for a minor consultation here for a fall I suffered not too long ago, thinking that I was going to break the bank for the service I was going to get. Not so, it seems. The doctors and staff here were friendly and helpful. So I definitely recommend coming here, even if it’s for something minor. Better safe than sorry.

I put five stars just so everyone can see this Dr. Jorge Eugenio Valdez Garcia who works at el Zambrano hellion is doing research with an implant in my eye and he is harassing and threatening to have some one shoot me and has hired someone to stalk me and that person has been breaking in to my truck and has been stealing from me he is trying to scare me they grafted the implant in my eye without my consent and he has been doing research with my eye for several years now!
