Terrible care in this hospital, I was hospitalized on May 19, I They channeled me to medicate me and left a piece of what appears to be a needle inside my right wrist where they put the channel. I am already in the city where I live. They do not want to take responsibility, even though I have to undergo surgery due to their negligence, I have to lose days of work, I have to lose time and the trauma that all this is causing me, they want me to travel to Acapulco again, generating MORE EXPENSES and more stress about the situation, so that according to them they can take care of me!!!

Terrible, terrible 😡 service We went to the emergency room for my son who was having seizures and to treat him they asked us for a deposit of 5000. Afterwards, they didn't even do a checkup as it is, they just put the oximeter on him and took his temperature and the doctor on duty told me that I had to go to the pediatrician but that he was going to charge me 1500 in addition to the 5000 deposit Because he is a specialist and that is aside, it also took about 40 minutes for the pediatrician to arrive and he didn't check my son, he just asked the doctor how my son was doing. He asked me what medication he was taking and he just stared at his cell phone for about an hour, In the end they just adjusted the medication and didn't even know what the medication was. We just went to give away 6500 We arrived around 11 pm and left. At 2 in the morning only with the medication adjustment. Appalling

Terrible service, they do not know how to weigh a baby nor were there doctors, the one who treated my baby was not a doctor, she gave us a prescription with another name from a male doctor and she was a woman, very poor care and very expensive for the poor care they provide.

Good doctors, half of the nursing staff are very attentive, and the other half need a customer service course, and there are no insurance personnel on weekends... no one from the insurance takes care of you on Saturdays or Sunday. I do not recommend👎

My cousin went to this hospital to have this removed since it went through her finger. Doctor Carmona Estrada Mayra attended my cousin and told her that anesthesia was not needed, plus she was really busy. My cousin sat through all that pain of having it pulled out with no pain reliever. That doctor had also told her that even if she opened up her finger that she wouldn’t put no anesthesia on it. After all that pain my cousin went to another hospital because there was a broken piece of the object still left in her finger. This Doctor needs to go because she couldn’t even perform this normal task to help out her patient.

Bad experience at this hospital with doctors not being honest and staff is rude. Their not helpful at all and there just out for your money. They have no true concern about your family member. They lie about how the patient is doing and if anything they make them worst to your expense. It was truly heartbreaking to realize how bad this hospital is. Don’t take your family members here. Find a different place.Funny thing is that I wrote a detail review of everything that happened and for some reason it’s not on here. Point is don’t trust them with your love ones. Question what there doing and why. Research to see if they even need certain things they ask you for and what the purpose of it is.

A lot of patience in the external consultation Archive and in the consultations themselves, sometimes the doctors do not arrive or they assign others who should not and you have to make an appointment again in the Archive. But they are no longer scheduling APPOINTMENTS for 2023 because they don't have a 2023 Agenda. Well that's what they say...

Unprofessional! My wife went through awful experience in this hospital on Friday and Saturday "Jun 24th/25th without any doctors seeing her!!!! They just gave her IV During those two days, My wife she's with high blood pressure and other high risk issues.... I was seen super quickly at the doctor..When it was time to do the dressing..I was waiting for 45 minutes..Shift change..No one to be seen, just me and one other person..I thought it was disrespectful..And I had to pay plus an hour of parking..

The structure of the hospital looked great after the renovation. Access and exit very well organized. But in the emergency embarkation and disembarkation part, it was abandoned. I stopped to disembark a friend there. Very close to the zebra area. She moved slowly. It was then that an Uber, with a damaged Kwid, stopped close to the left side of my car, almost hitting my mirror. I stared at him. So I rolled down the window to explain that he couldn't go through there. The citizen still wanted to criticize me, saying that he was in a wheelchair, he went wherever he wanted and that I was completely lost. I think you should paint that zebra area better, as it's a little faded. As far as I know, you can't go over it. We have been waiting for two hours to be seen in the emergency room by Unimed. My son is classified as “blue”. This is considered not serious. All, I repeat: all the people who have arrived so far have been attended to before him. Does this mean: we arrive, register and wait for new patients to come in and go before them??? That's right? Knowing that we will always wait a long time, because another color gets in front of it. ABSURD.

I went to the obstetric emergency because I'm 13 weeks and there was bleeding. Another pregnant woman and I waited for 2 hours of service, we went to ask and the girl said that it was protocol according to the assessment, finally I arrived at 7:35 and was seen at 9:41 pm and the chairs were empty and they weren't even attending!

I accompanied my husband for knee surgery, we were very well looked after in all sectors, the nurses were extremely attentive, the rooms were very well equipped. We were satisfied.

TERRIBLE ATTENDANCE! I was admitted due to a fall, with acute pain in my leg and the professional who was pushing my wheelchair pressed my foot, the leg that couldn't handle the pain, against the wall and without even apologizing, left. He returned with medication, applied it without any guidance or explanation and left. The doctor barely assessed it, he just said that I didn't have a fracture and sent me away without even referring me to a specialist and requesting tests such as MRI. And I still had to put up with a rude professional when I asked to leave. I went in with acute pain and came out worse.

I have had both good and bad experiences at this hospital. More bad than good unfortunately. They are not prepared to treat neurodivergent patients and have no understand of their medical access needs. The hospital should do more research in this area. I am very grateful for the nurses though! They work so hard.

If I could rate this a zero I would. This has to be the worst hospital in this whole city. It should be shut down. The lack of care is disgusting! I know the nurses are overworked but to be rude and mean to the patients is unacceptable. I live in the neighborhood so sadly this is the hospital I'm stuck with whenever there is an issue. 30 years ago it was a good place but it has gone way downhill and is only getting worse. My mother has a broken hip and isn't ready to leave but yet they're kicking her out because they want the bed, and she has Covid but they don't care, she's been there a month and they feel she's ready to go home. It may be free healthcare but that doesn't mean it's good. If you can, beg and plead the ambulance drivers not to send you there ask to be sent to a different hospital because you'll get treated like garbage here if you get treated at all. It's a disgraceful place and I feel for anyone that has to be stuck in here. I love all these fake reviews saying they're great. What a joke!

A recent 3 day visit to this hospital for a surgery of a family member renewed my respect and appreciation in Canada Health system. A great team of doctors, nurses, support staff and volunteers provided an A1 service efficiently, professionally and with care using complex and up to date medical and IT equipment. The team included senior and younger staff from Canada and new comers to provide care for patients that have not visited the hospital by choice. The hospital offered a super clean place even during renovation. The Kitchen staff would not get a Michelin star rating but they got a 5 star from me for quality, reliability and service. Even the underground parking was safe, clean, well lit and with reasonable prices. Well done team MG. I know that such a performance takes a lot of work behind the surface. A refreshing experience that proves that dedicated, experienced and “real” people, not money and politicians, make all the difference. Sorry for the long winded review, but a big thank you. Keep up the good work.👍👏

I had a day surgery in this hospital. It was my first time to have a surgery with general anesthesia, so I was quite nervous. However, it didn't take much longer to figure out that there was no need to be anxious at all, as all the medical staff who treated me were so kind and friendly. They naturally eased my anxiety. Each time I interacted with each of them, I was quite impressed by their professionalism. After detailed explanation of what would happen, my surgery started on time and went well. I am so greatful for their dedication and hard work. Thank you so much.

My dad just had a quadruple bypass, the care and attention he receiving is incredible and putting us all at ease. The surgery went perfect and he's doing very well. We can't thank you enough, after a few not so great experiences earlier after his stroke at other hospitals in the east end (not all their fault staffing issues are brutal) this has been a night and day difference. We are having our first baby here. We've been going frequently(due to our high risk pregnancy). They are amazing, and accommodating!! They have helped so much....every need, and question has been addressed and taken care of. In my opinion, one of the best labor delivery floors, ever!!! Keep up the fantastic work! Check in very easy and quick but privacy not so much. You last check in before they put you in the room, the lady front desk say your phone number loud and ur emergency contacts number. Not very professional and conventional. Need a private room like the first check in has. At my work I only say the last 4 digits of someone's number. Please make this private I did not like my husband's and my phone number broad cast

I think the only good thing about the hospital are the staffs. Really friendly staff. But you can really feel that emergency I’d understaffed. The hospital was dirty. This is the dirtiest emergency I have ever been to. Timhortons cups lying around the floor with Napkins, papers. Lack of facilities. No rooms. People are everywhere. They have put beds on corridors.

I thank the staff of St. Mary's General Hospital from the bottom of my heart for saving my loved one's life with grace, kindness, expertise and excellence. Every single housekeeper, tech, nurse, doctor, surgeon and staff were absolutely amazing and God given gifts to us. We were all (patient and family alike) treated with kindness, dignity and respect throughout the duration of our entire stay while on CVICU and 3West. I am forever grateful to St. Mary's for the excellent care we received and the miracle of life through open heart surgery that my loved one received. Hosp de la familia (Terror story) Hospital de la familia : Do not go here unless you want yo die!! My experience at the hospital : Right as we walked In they take us into a small room asked for the money! Our money got taken, immediately . I mean as soon as we walked in $5,950 +580. We were sent to the waiting room, the fear kicked in immediately as we were left in the waiting room watching this woman Maritsa leaving with our money. I was in tears ! Scared out of my mind thinking we had just been scammed! Soon they came to get us to bring us into room 212. The dresser was old and faded , so was the blanket and the dinner tray. I was so terrified that every time they took my blood pressure it was extremely high! My blood pressure continued to be high as Martiza kept getting defensive, talking over us and defending her unprofessionalism and her greedy actions . She did not try to be sympathetic or understanding. She made sure to talk over us, making sure we didn’t get heard , and that only what she wanted to say and wanted done being the only thing was being accomplished. My constant fear of being scammed I asked for receipts for all the money that had been given to her, she was annoyed at the fact, and stormed out! I was taken to a room where more test were done . The surgeon came in poked at where he wanted to work on. They wheeled me into the operating room. I woke up with no surgery done at all! When I woke up I was asked by a man in the operating room with a terrifying look on his face if I couldn’t remember what happened? I told him no! The other doctor in the room with the almost same look but more of fear & concern, said SO YOU REALLY CANNOT REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED?? Once again , I told him no, I wasn’t being told what happened instead they all were terrified!! I was wheeled back into the room where my husband was waiting for me. There my husband asked me if I knew what happened? I told him no, but he had the same look of terror in his eyes. He then told me I had died . The surgeon told the nurses to get him where he proceeded to tell my husband that there was a complication and that my heart stopped after my larynx closed on me and that they had to preform chest compressions and that I was brought back and was stable , that as soon as I could get enough of the anesthesia to ware off , I would be brought back to my room to him. They then told him they only got to make the holes for the operation but no operation took place and they could not operate due to the “ complications “ They brought me back to room after that my surgeon Dr. Sariana disappeared completely! We never saw him again. There was another surgeon called in and he was the one we delt with . The consultation service group disappeared with my money . Sent me charges that now doubled my original quote. Now I have no surgery and my money’s been stolen due to their negligence. But I’m being charged due to the hospital not wanting to discharge us and said we must stay a extra nights here! Even though we wanted to leave we were told we would not be able to be discharged until the surgeon discharged us and he refused to do so and left us there accumulating charges for extra nights. When I was finally discharged the nurse said they had destroyed the vein where I had my IV and said no fluid was even going in anymore it was just all accumulating in my body. I was able to make a stop payment for the cashiers check that the consultation company wanted to keep even though they didn’t preform my surgery. They kept $850. Dollars I payed them in cash . But now they are charging me for the hospital stay I didn’t have a choice on, and I want the hospital to know that this whole experience has been a night mare. These people that you have working in your hospital are scam artist and I hope you think twice before you let portofino consulting do this to any other poor women who put their trust in this company. I came to this hospital in October 2021 to get a tubal reversal. We made the decision to go to Mexico for surgery because of the cost compared to the U.S and I don’t regret my decision! It was clean, professional, and comfortable. The doctor who performed my surgery explained everything to my husband and I thoroughly and even showed us pictures. Although I do recommend taking someone with you if you can, who is bilingual because some of the nurses and I had trouble communicating since I don’t know Spanish, luckily my husband does and was able to translate things though. Maritza was the person who facilitated the appointment and was very responsive, she even met us at the hospital on a Saturday (the day of my appointment) to check us in. Most importantly though my tubal reversal was successful! I’ve had an hsg procedure back home in San Diego which confirmed this. I have not gotten pregnant yet though but I’m hopeful it will happen soon.I just wanted to share my experience to any other person it may help.

I highly recommend anyone who is thinking of having a sort of medical procedure this is the place to have it done. I am over the moon with how well I was treated by not only the nurses and hospital staff but Dr. S, Dr. Mariana, Penelope and Maritza were exceptionally wonderful to work with. I had weight loss revision surgery and could not be happier. I will be going back at some point for plastics. Thank y’all for being so good to me and my mom.

If you have the opportunity to be treated at this hospital MISS IT!! The service leaves a lot to be desired, admission, cash and public relations are extremely inefficient, they do everything wrong No They are empathetic with patients and do not provide solutions of any kind. The facilities are being remodeled and they have no qualms about drilling you in the Head at 2:00 am, they have no respect for the patients nor do they give a damn about their peace of mind and rest. Terrible service!! In addition to their times being ridiculous to deliver an account, register and charge you: more than 8 hours and they can't do it!!!

Without a doubt, one of my worst experiences, from the hospital...everything is super neglected and mistreated, even the staff, especially the person: ROSARIO LAGOS, she is supposed to be the head of public relations, she was asked several questions and she never knew how to answer adequately. a person who does not have tact or sense to be a head of public relations, the hospital should pay more attention to the people it hires in its positions, not just out of friendship, handing over positions with great positions to people who are too big for the position…. My experience with the doctors, anesthesiologists and nurses was very human. Super nice and attentive nurses. They were always on the lookout. The doctors are very professional and explained everything to me in detail. Those who complain about the insurance and that the income is late. You should see this with your manager, but it is normal, even upon admission, they mention that the insurance takes 4 to 6 hours to respond and this has nothing to do with the hospital.

Terrible service, old rooms, they charge you ghost expenses. I believe that the morning nurses are not paid well, because they do things reluctantly, they make faces at you, they do not come soon, they are not organized in patient care, they do not disinfect the thermometers every time they come to take signs. . Very expensive and they give you the cheapest paper on the market. As a tip: it improves attention when you call public relations. Better care and lower cost in smaller private hospitals. Being here is similar to the IMSS, only here you go faster, but from then on it's terrible. The Angeles Mocel Hospital branch is good, quality and the staff is extremely friendly.

I found myself sick in Mexico City and after some hesitation I took myself to Angeles. I am from the United States and my review will be from the perspective of someone who is used to USA healthcare. Angeles was amazing when it came to everything important. My intake was awkward but the woman who helped me did everything she could for me since I was incapable at that time. The doctors where amazing and everything to do with my diagnostic evaluation was efficient and professional. (however, unlike in the USA, the doctors took there time to perform a complete evaluation and were not rushed). The emergency room care was also excellent. When I left the emergency room and went to a normal room things were not as good, in fact I was pretty angry with my nurse there. I was blessed to have a friend in Columbia to use for translation but everything to do with being in the regular room and paying my bill was extremely awkward. Hospital translation services were never made available to me. Regardless, I feel like the healthcare I received was excellent and I would never hesitate to use Hospital Angeles. I found my care here to be at least equivalent if not superior to the care I'm used to in the USA

This is the worst hospital experience I've had in my life. I arrived to the emergency room at noon and left at 4 PM whit out being attended to. They charged me $290 USD upon arrival and then made me whit for 2 hours. When they finally call me in, the doctor looked at me 30 seconds and ordered an ultrasonic check that NEVER came. Finally I decided to leave as the lack of attention, the negligence, the lack of information, the complete disregard for my problem and obviously the time spent doing absolutely nothing and listening to the nurses laugh and joke around out side my cubicle, got the best of me. When I decided to leave they made me what another 45 minutes just to return my deposit and give me back my ID which was retained! (Yes the take your official ID and they DON'T give it back until they secure your payment. This is illegal by the way) by the receptionists. By the way, I came to the ER with an internal bleeding due to a fall. The Traumatology "Dr. Jenny" gave me 30 seconds to look at the huge hematoma I had, and then one hour later another 30 seconds to give me the "self leave paper" to sign. NEVER She gave me any indication or had the intention to help me. In fact she said "there is nothing I can do". AVOID THIS EMERGENCY ROOM AT ALL COSTS!

Worst hospitals only into making money I could have got my treatment done cheaper in the USA...they just dump what ever they want for kidney stone laser treatment and stay was a bomb 210000 pesos+80000 for doctors fees...they will empty ur pockets with sweet talks beware doctors are good you could use their services in other hospitals....the taxation department should look into these scamsters

The place is large and they have excellent patient care from the beginning to the end of your stay. The hospital has all types of rooms but the one I got was a junior suite and it is very nice. The truth is that the staff is very attentive and the nurses do their work with pleasant attention, nothing rude and always very polite, the cleaning staff are also very friendly.

I had no issues, but my doctor helped with registration and with getting an accurate bill. Room was clean, nurses were all responsive, and food was good ( and they were accommodating to my preferences). If my doctor had not helped to smooth the process with registration etc.. I might have had a different experience. They also fixed the medical issue that I had so no complaints from me.

Unfortunately the hospital staff seem to have the only goal of making as much money off you as possible, recommending exams and treatments that are not needed or very, very excessive. On top of that, their professional knowledge is so poor I had a X ray technician and a doctor telling me I have a condition by which my organs are on the opposite side of where they should be because they were looking at my X rays flipped the wrong way around. In short avoid if you can!

The attention from the nursing staff left much to be desired, it is supposed to be a first-class hospital for such poor service. Omission of analgesics, failure to follow instructions left in writing by the doctor. They ask about food preferences and allergies so they can ignore them. Violation of patients' rights, even though all staff have them attached to their chests on their identification. Not a cheap bill (>200k) for such bad service.

It is a very clean, beautiful hospital, obviously also in the area, the consultations are a little expensive, but they take great care of you. I fully recommend Doctor David Mazza 🫰🏼

A modern, clean, well-located and very well-equipped hospital. The rooms are spacious, well-organized and the facilities are of excellent quality. Very large parking lot, the signs in the hallways are very clear, but the staff is also very friendly and helpful, they are happy to help you if you can't find something. At the entrance there is a Starbucks Coffee with fresh and tasty food and on the other side a grocery and drinks store. From the entrance there is a very nice view.

I asked for a minor consultation here for a fall I suffered not too long ago, thinking that I was going to break the bank for the service I was going to get. Not so, it seems. The doctors and staff here were friendly and helpful. So I definitely recommend coming here, even if it’s for something minor. Better safe than sorry.

I put five stars just so everyone can see this Dr. Jorge Eugenio Valdez Garcia who works at el Zambrano hellion is doing research with an implant in my eye and he is harassing and threatening to have some one shoot me and has hired someone to stalk me and that person has been breaking in to my truck and has been stealing from me he is trying to scare me they grafted the implant in my eye without my consent and he has been doing research with my eye for several years now!

What a shame that in a Hospital like San José you cannot buy a catheter and emergency medicine at the Pharmacy. As a town pharmacy, it was closed at midday because the person in charge “went out to eat.” AND THERE WAS NO ONE TO ATTEND. And the people I asked saw everything as very logical… “he went out to eat and was probably late.” How little brains. A Pharmacy in a hospital in broad daylight must be open so it is a good idea to have another person stay to serve while someone else goes out to eat. It really took a long time and I had to go look somewhere else (CUAN) because the medicine and the tube were URGENT.
