Terrible service, I needed to perform a procedure with anesthesia, I had to ask God and everyone for permission, and on the day of the procedure they said that it wasn't in their documents that there would have to be anesthesia. I had to do the procedure without it and it was horrible.

Hospital Mãe de Deus was once a reference hospital in Porto Alegre, but it is currently in terrible condition. The attendant and receptionist at the cardiology department in the heart Institute is totally disappointing. They are not coopertive and their attitude is so poor (attendant for room 1 and 2), particularly if you are a foreigner.

The staff particularly attendant and receptionist are non professional with prejudiced opinions. As a patient you pay so hefty amount for treatment but because of staffs behavior you end up with stress and anxiety. However the doctors attitude and attention to patient health problems are commendable. But its the staff behavior that make us reluctant to visit again.

Care provided in a very professional and caring manner by the outpatient colonoscopy team. I felt an atmosphere that was both comforting for the patient that I am and relaxed among the caregivers. In a word: thank you.

Outpatient control examination with general anesthesia. The nurses and caregivers are top notch, very friendly and attentive. On the other hand, an anesthetist (apparently an intern) first pricked me twice on the top of my right hand, leaving the needles which a nurse then came to remove, before pricking my left hand to finally manage to the vein. Not good at all, we can say, and particularly painful. After the procedure, both my hands remained blue, swollen and very painful for at least 4 days. This is scandalous, especially if we consider the significant excess fees charged by La Protestante on anesthesia. Anesthesia alone costs more than €125, of which around €50 is reimbursed by the SS and €35 ​​by my mutual insurance.

I had to be hospitalized as an outpatient then in surgery in less than a week and both stays went very well. In the outpatient setting the nurses were very kind, attentive and funny (which is important in this kind of stressful moment). I was very well taken care of. For my stay on the 5th floor, everything went very well too! Thanks to nurse Catherine who was lovely to me, like a mother, who listened to me, made me laugh and took good care of me. Thanks also to the night caregiver who was very kind. Thanks also to the recovery room teams! And to the teams in the surgical theaters and the endoscopy suite, especially the nurse anesthetist who took care of me Thursday morning for my endoscopy, she really listened and was able to reassure me! I really felt good in the clinic. All the staff are kind and attentive, whether they are the admissions ladies, the stretcher bearers, the nurses, the nursing assistants, the doctors. If I have to have another operation one day, I would go back to the Protestant without hesitation! For once we see staff who are still human and smiling!

Twice I have been an inpatient at this hospital. On my first stay, I thought I’d got lucky and struck a few excellent doctors and nurses. But now, after my second stay (a year later) I realise this is a superb hospital. The kindness was almost overwhelming. I felt like the best friend or close relative of everyone. From the reception ladies, to the terrific doctors (esp Dr Mishra), the amazing nurses, even wards men (thanks Wayne), St Vincent’s Private Hospital is filled with care, compassion and competence. Sure, I love the hospital near my home town in Rockhampton. But if I’m ever in Brisbane and am unfortunate enough to get sick again, I hope I’m fortunate enough to be their patient. Shout out to all of the gorgeous nurses in ward 1A! Unfortunately was admitted twice but all of you made an awful painful experience a million times better. I didn’t like the fact that I was in hospital and away from my family and in pain, but it was like having friends close by. You all actually cared. You were all so lovely, caring, friendly, empathetic and advocated for me. Thank you! You all deserve a massive pay rise!

Recently stayed overnight after gallbladder removal surgery. I was very unwell afterwards, but the nursing staff were beyond amazing and caring. Loved the room service food too with great choices (have attached photos in case anyone wants to know in advance what you can get).

My elderly father was admitted by his specialist to the 7th floor. Just want to compliment staff member Ange Power who went above and beyond for my father in every respect and couldn’t be nicer if she tried. Just completed a full hip replacement and initial rehab at St Vincent’s private, I cannot praise them enough! As with all hospitals they encounter their issues with individuals, food, cleaning etc but I felt SVP did a terrific job under all circumstances. I was comfortable both in the room and with the service, well fed and felt safe and supported through what was quite a substantial surgery/recovery process. I will not hesitate to return for any further surgery, touch wood!

I did have a motorbike accident with several injuries. They admitted me to the hospital, wehere they carried out the necessary checks, including blood test, including x-ray, including CT scan. To have full picture of my various injuries. Afterwards the surgeons did an excellent job stitching me together, and after operation care was excellent. The nurses are very caring, the stuff is highly professional, the doctor speaks English, and if there is a communication problem, Google translate is always of a great help. Thank you very much to the excellent Dr Tran Quoc Khanh, nurses and staff. I really appreciate the ‘honest’ and efficient care that I received today. I came in for a last-minute general health check report (to support a work permit application to another country). All simple tests including urine and blood tests were comfortably completed in one afternoon. Cost was around 2.5million which is a very reasonable fee given the quality standard of service. Hospital is nice and clean and overall in good condition. International section is on 4th floor of Block C. Very easy to get to from the road entrance.

Customer service very bad. Don't want to even try and contact the insurance even if you have full international coverage. Procedures urgently need a review.

The hospital has clean space and rooms, modern and fairly new facilities, and quite enthusiastic staff. The dishes in the hospital meals are delicious and delicious, my mother complimented me after eating them (3 meals/day are included in the hospital room fee). But the wifi in the room is weak and not prepared for patients with pillows and blankets, so it is a bit lacking in this regard. Hopefully the hospital will improve so that patients and relatives can be comfortable and worthy of the money spent.

It's not an international hospital, as they are trying to make it look like. They don't provide translation service. And their administration are laggy and corrupted, just trying to make people move round and round without giving an actual response, especially any case regarding English. The quality of room is acceptable in comparison to price, but the services are not that good.

Good service. Staff's are very friendly to the patients. Good doctors. There are more than 2 pharmacy. Clean and hygienic wards. There are wending machines which we can get our snacks quickly. Good cafeteria. Theres a children play area in the 8th floor. There are fish tanks in every floor to entertain the kids. There are bill paying machines where you can pay your phone bills or any other bills quickly. There's no free parking, slow elevators.

The service of this pharmacy at the ground floor is terrible. I had to wait about 20 minutes in the front desk to handover my prescription. There is no clear procedure to purchase the medicines. The front pharmacist guy takes too much time to read the prescription. Once you pay, still have to wait like another 20,25 minutes in the queue to collect your meds. Certainly, not satisfied at all about the service from the ground floor pharmacy.

No one can do wrong. Worst experience I've ever had with an online appoinment. By mistake I had set up a physical appointment for an audio appointment. But there is nothing else to do but act like that. Shame on you Durdens. keep my money.

My wife and I go for a medical check up every year to Durdans Hospital due their quality service over the years. However, I was surprised about their service level this time. No one is caring for us and no one to guide us. There was a meal for our package. We waited more than half an hour in the cafeteria to receive our meal like beggars. But nothing received. Then we left the hospital without having breakfast even though we had paid for it. Highly disappointed.

They don't even accept you even in an emergency situation if you are a foreigner. Even as a Hokkaido university student I was told the doctor is busy with other patients and has no time to see a foreign patient... I was standing at the first aid/ emergency section with my hand bleeding.. I was just told to go somewhere else and was handed a printout with an emergency ph no of Sapporo city emergency services ( The irony ) I was just told to call that and try my luck.
