A veery good hospital.. And the doctor speak English

Awful hospital and ER! I came in at about 3 AM as a foreigner (EU citizen) in need of some antibiotics as I had forgotten to bring them with me on vacation in Madrid. Despite not even being close to being overfilled, the average wait time for this ER was about 4 hours, or even more. I sat there alongside a woman whimpering and crying out in pain, an old lady struggling to breathe, etc. - Sick people having to resort to sleep on uncomfortable old chairs and not in the slightest paid any attention to! Kind of dehumanizing, to be perfectly honest. Thank God I did not have something actually more serious. After about an hour, the nurse came to the waiting area to check on me. Two hours have gone by and I was getting impatient. Nurses told me they had alerted the doctor. Another hour goes by, still no doctor in sight. At that point, we were all sitting there waiting for the paint on the wall to dry. Finally, at about 6:30 AM (!!!) a doctor came to fill my prescription. Yet it was not until about 7 AM that I could finally go home. The others still had to wait… Never go to the ER of this hospital unless you like to be ignored. Or if you like to look at the sunrise even though you went to the hospital in the middle of the night for antibiotics. Such a shame…

Was passed around to 5 different nurses (only one of which seemed to care) over a 6 hour wait time, all to eventually be told that nothing was wrong with me despite having near-crippling abdomen pain and the only solution offered was more painkillers. Still trying to determine my ailment but I'm horrified at the "oh well good luck" attitude many of the staff have. If 0 stars were possible that's what I'd be giving here

My time as an inpatient at Ross Hall went smoothly & I was made to feel comfortable & felt that everything was explained clearly & staff ensured that I was never in need. However, the discharge process could be a little more streamlined, but other than that I was impressed with the service I recieved.

I can honestly say I was delighted with the whole experience. I have never had an operation before and was totally at ease from the minute I walked through the door. The staff at Ross Hall are nothing short of excellent, my consultant was amazing, the porters, reception staff, and especially the nurses, who went over and above for me, were just great. I am so grateful and would highly recommend Ross Hall time and time again.

I received day surgery here for an issue after 2 years and wish it was only sooner if I had only known about them then. For it being a hospital of course there helping all these individuals through their personal medical journeys, but as soon as I walked through the doors it carried a warm light atmosphere and every single person was polite, smiley, happy and helpful with high warm energies. Truly was an exceptionally experience and most definitely could never see a mistake being made the amount of checks and repeats and signing off ensuring no room for error on that part. The surgeon Dr Paterson was every thing you could hope for instantly brings that energy were you feel safe and grateful he’s carrying out the procedure. Well done Ross Hall Hospital!

I have recently had a total hip replacement, carried out at the Wellington Hospital. I found the standard of care excellent at each stage, from the scan, to the pre admission meeting to my inpatient stay. The nursing staff were kind, supportive and friendly. My room was comfortable and the food was amazing,. Before I went I read the reviews on here and was surprised by the range of comments. I think some people have very unrealistic expectations of a hospital stay. This place is great!!!

I visited the Wellington for a scan and consultation. From the first meeting with the reception staff, everyone was extremely welcoming and helpful. The staff answered all my questions clearly and in the right amount of depth. I felt able to trust them immediately and my confidence grew as the process moved forward. Excellent quality hospital. I had stayed here for taking medical treatments for 4 nights. It is not like hospital but 5 stars hotel. Here is very clean, all staffs have nice hospitality. My Doctor gives very clear information about process and step of treatment so I can plan my days, take strictly on her medical suggestion to recover soonest. Nurses on ward 5R I stay very helpful and have very good service mind. Maids is very hard working to make the room tiny and you feel like stay in 5 stars hotel. I don’t feel I stay in hospital except during my fever time keeps telling me that “ Hey guy, you are in hospital “ Excellent !!

English Speakers: Don’t go to this hospital. Our pregnancy doctor, Kannika Chokram, is extremely rude. Dr. Kannika’s English proficiency seems quite low and/or is rude because she will not answer questions when asked directly in English. Our doctor hung up on me when I repeatedly asked her to explain in English what she just said in Thai; she decided to hang up the phone. During our appointment, the nurse in the room tapped her watch to notify Dr. Kannika of the time and how long we were taking with our questions. It’s disappointing because I feel like if it were Dr. Kannika’s own children, she would be behaving differently. Basically Dr. Kannika comes off as not caring about her patients and wants to just check out and “chow chum yen chum” (i.e., do the bare minimum).

If you a foreigner, please avoid this scammer hospital. They will charge for you 3-4 times more than local. I did dressing for the wound and got bandages and charged for 1500 bhat. I paid around 3000 bhat but for bandage and dressing only was 1500 bhat. I can’t believe how this big hospital do this kind of scammers. Who made this charge for patients? Doctor? Remember! From your hospital scam, many foreigners will evaluated about whole Thailand. Memory will be forever about thailand. See the further instead if only in front of yours.

Was given the option to do another test so I took it just to be sure. When I went to pay for my medication, I was told that test cost 3,000 baht. I probably should've asked if it cost more, but I also would've expected one of the doctors or nurses to tell me about the price beforehand. I never would've done the extra test if I was told about the price.

Super-delayed patient care, I don't want to imagine where a calamity happens and more than 30 people arrive, they will die here, I have a pain in my stomach since 4 in the morning, diarrhea, vomiting, fever and chills, I arrived at 3:00 pm and it's 6:00 pm and they don't attend to me, I have to writhe in pain to be attended to.

Good hospital services

My sister was treated for kidney stones in August and we signed a document agreeing to pay $13,800. When we got home, our credit card was charged $38,000. We have made numerous attempts to speak to the hospital, no one has responded. They sent a credit card receipt that clearly shows that they forged our signature and are still demanding payment. Stay away from this hospital, they will scam you out of lots of money.

Terrible money scam. People were nice, but not professional. My mom had a heart issue and was sent here by Xcaret Hotel Mexico (this is a partner hospital with the hotel, says something about the hotel too). She was given EKG and blood test, which was charged 1300USD. The emergency doctor couldn't give any diagnosis with these results and wanted to refer an internal medicine doctor to continue with more procedures (for more charges). The whole time we were there there was no monitor of vital signs, the IV stopped working. We ran away without continuing with any procedure. Stay away from this hospital if you can!

My son hurt his knee pretty bad after landing awkwardly trampolining at our resort. He couldn’t bare weight on it and had a lot of pain so we researched a few local hospitals and decided on Amerimed based on some of the Google reviews. We were not disappointed and so glad we picked this one. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and got us in, x-rayed, meds and a knee brace for 6,500 pesos/ $400usd. We were out within 90 minutes. This hospital is terrible!!!! I had an ear problem last month and I went to this hospital that charged me for a consultation without first telling me that they did NOT have an ENT doctor available who could help me (even after having gone through the screening), and now even having spoken to the ombudsman, they claim that I was notified, which is an absurd lie. What I take away from this is that in addition to having terrible service and incompetent nurses, they also lie. Don't go to Santa Paula, they won't solve your problem, and then they will claim that “you were too stunned to understand” which is an absurd lack of empathy and humanity for a hospital to say something like that.

Second time this week I spent this week in the emergency room of this hospital, because the medicines prescribed by the doctors are not relieving my pain, I have flu-like symptoms. I haven't slept almost at all this week and today in particular, I stayed up all night feeling a lot of pain. It is not possible that I will have to go to the emergency room for the third time. If I go, it won't be in this hospital. Update: I went to the emergency room for the third time this week, but in another hospital, I was howling in pain, I knew something was wrong, as I was feeling very ill and didn't get better with any prescribed medication. I was diagnosed with sinusitis in another hospital, I remember that the last doctor at this hospital said it was nothing serious and didn't even give me an antibiotic and said it was influenza. They gave me nausea dosage in the amount for a child and not for an adult and in a greater number of hours. I no longer trust this hospital and will not return again.

Good afternoon everybody. My 18 year old daughter was hospitalized on 10/06 with teratomas on her ovary. A huge scare, because we went to the emergency room with suspected kidney stones. We were very scared and very worried, but I would like to record here the excellent and extremely humanized care provided by everyone, without exception, at the hospital. My daughter had recently turned 18 and so I couldn't sleep with her in the hospital, imagine my despair and worry? So, in addition to never being hospitalized, she had to be alone. But, all (without exception) the nurses, receptionists, doctors, were very careful, loving, attentive and caring. I would really like to remember everyone's name (and I recommend that the hospital look at the days of this shift to really recognize these professionals from 10/05 to 11:20 pm to 10/08), but I was very nervous, but, I remember Carol, Kelly, Luana (in the emergency room), Dr Manoel and the team that successfully performed the surgery to remove the teratomas on my daughter. Those whose names I don't remember (especially a nurse who attended to us in the early hours of 10/06 who was so loving), please forgive me, they are no less important in my gratitude, as I said to some of you, for For me, it is not simply a profession but rather a gift of caring for others. I couldn't spend 24 hours with my daughter in the 3 days she was there, but I'm sure that God chose all the people who took care of her correctly. Congratulations to the hospital, which recognizes its team and always values ​​the people who work there. I also mention the cleanliness of the hospital and the rooms, which are cleaned constantly. My daughter continues to recover very well. I am grateful for Dr. Manoel's assertive clarifications, which left us calm and confident as my daughter continued. After waiting for 2 hours, our daughter was called to help and, to my surprise, they didn't allow the father to go up, they let the mother go up alone with a 10-month-old baby and three bags. Lack of space, lack of planning, lack of training or lack of humanism? Unfortunate...

Terrible hospitalization, few employees, they make the patient do the work, you need to call or ask for sheets, pillowcases, bath towels via QRCOD, I asked for a bathtub so I could bathe my baby, it took more than an hour to arrive, the employee who brings it the bathtub cannot bring towels, the patient needs to use the hospital system to request towels, sheets, pillowcases, hygiene items... and 1 item at a time, in an order you cannot, for example, request sheets, towels and blanket, you have to order one item at a time for the companion and the patient. I am the companion responsible for my 5 month old baby, I also have the flu, I requested hot water to make tea at 10 pm and they told me that the kitchen in a HOSPITAL does not work at night, I have never seen this, an emergency room, a patient in hospitalization and not having hot water. They serve 3 meals a day, breakfast at 7:00 am, lunch at 1:00 pm and dinner at 7:00 pm, during these intervals if you want to order something via app, you cannot go down to reception to receive it, no one at reception can go up to bring your food and no staff can look at your child who is hospitalized for you to go down to reception for 3 minutes to receive the food, you are forced to go hungry or buy it at the hospital cafe. My rating for hospitalization is terrible, if I need it again I won't come back here, good accommodation but the system is terrible service, not even a public hospital is that bad.

However, when they send us to that little room to go back to the doctor, you forget about life because it seems like they will never see you. And it's not the first time. Today I ordered to cancel and left. I arrived before 8pm, it was around 7:30pm, everything would have ended quickly, if it weren't for the wait to see the doctor again. They should monitor these doctors who keep the door closed with no one inside, while mothers and fathers are waiting for a report. It is, at the very least, a lack of empathy and respect for the health of little ones. Now with these traumas, I probably won't take it anymore. If I need it again, I will go to São Luiz. But, I congratulate Dr Daigo, who once, when I was being seen by him and needed to return, as soon as he saw me, he immediately called me and immediately released us, since there was no one else in the waiting room. Super attentive, agile and helpful.

Apart from the reasonable delay for the first pain medication (renal colic) and the first nurse who pierced my arm 3 times (skinny with bulging veins) until she was able to access it), the service was good, everything else.

I would like to thank all the staff at Hospital São Lucas for their service and care. I arrived with what seemed like a simple cough and had to be hospitalized. I am extremely grateful to Dr.Thiago Soares Gomes for his diligence and prevention in decision-making, and to Dr.Filipe Miranda Bernardes for his constant monitoring. When an X-ray was not enough to detect the true cause of that cough, they did their best to clarify the picture so that today I am better and continue with the necessary care. Know that my family, people who love me and I greatly appreciate the professionalism and so much humanity of all of you.

Highly skilled and professional doctors and staff . They are very approachable. Hospital premises are well maintained. Seamless internal procedures help to avoid delays. The insurance department and billing section is very helpful in expediting the process . Would like to make a special mention of Samad Shaikh from insurance department for excellent service making the billing process hassle free for us.

The experience was truly excellent. The doctors and nurses were incredibly supportive, and the facilities were top-notch. I must give special recognition to Samad and insurance team, who made the claim process and document submission incredibly smooth for me.

We had heard mixed reviews about this hospital before we went there but we have only had positive experience every time we have visited the hospital. Manipal hospital is the best place for treating cancer in Goa. We have received excellent treatment right from the surgery to the chemotherapy. The doctors, nurses, the support staff- all of them are polite, helpful, courteous and very professional. The hospital premises are so clean and maintained well.

staff is very friendly, everything is kept clean and sanitary. the nurses care about their patients and everything is done quickly. when we first checked how long the waiting period will be, it said 3 to 5 months, my gp sent a mail, agreeing to the waiting period, and around week later i got a letter with my appointment scheduled for 3 weeks later. very happy with all the help and support i got from the staff!

Absolutely horrible service. My father broke his arm and we had to wait like 10-15 minutes just checking in. And then they gave him a terrible cast and diagnosis. We had to come back to the US and go to our local Kaiser Permanente to get actual care for my dad. Please avoid this place, especially if you are visiting from the US. We have used the services of Valmar Hospital, including surgery and emergency care. Could not ask for better service and care. Having so many specialists at one location is so helpful. Received excellent care from Doctors , nurses and staff.

Horrible service. Showed up here with a case of Food Poisoning and was turned away because my symptoms were "similar" to Covid-19. The front desk person told me to wait outside, didn't even ask me simple questions such as if I had a cough or shortness of breath and after "speaking with her supervisor" told me I had to go to the General Hospital because Velmar was "full". Such a lie! If it was full, why wasn't I turned away when I first showed up? I went to Clinica San Fernando after and was seen by a great doctor there. My cardiologist and urologist have their offices at Velmar and I will let them know I won't be able to attend our appointments anymore at this hospital, because they deny service to people in need.

Dr Khaled Al Aal Vascular surgeon @ Medi Clinic Town Centre. One of the nicest, most humble and thoughtful surgeons I’ve encountered. He is definitely worth the visit by anyone who has been suffering with their varicose or spider veins.

It was an amazing experienced! When I go for check up for severe cough flu, due to the weather change. When I reach to Mediclinic Al ain, I was entertain directly by the reception guy who's named Javudullah Balkiaz Khan this guy promote the quality and equality of the hospital. And to mention the nurses that checking my vitals, they are very attentive to the patient, and mostly the doctor, she come several times into my room to check and explained about my status of what I fell. The private room is spacious, clean and equipped with anything you may need for your overnight stay. The room service team take into account your dietary requirements and offers options for all your meals.

I had an ACL reconstruction surgery with Dr Gardon and my experience was great, even though it is rough to have this kind of procedure. All the nurses were absolutely wonderful with me; I could not have asked for a better experience.

About a month ago I tried to end my life. It was late in the evening, she wasn't on duty and she saw that something was wrong with me. She approached me and asked if I needed help. For hours she listened to me, gave me advice on how to move on and how to see the future of my life in a different light. In today's reality it is difficult to find people who will give of their free time to help others in need without receiving anything in return. Dear dr tina, if you remember me, I thank you for the attention and time you gave me, for making me understand that there is a way to deal with problems without running away from them. You are an amazing person! She is definitely an excellent person and deserves the best the world has to offer. The emek hospital, you have won a doctor who is literally an asset.
