Dealt with this hospital for several years. No matter what day or what doctor I've always been left with the same experience; cocky doctors playing God with the absolute worst bedside manner. Never again.

My husband was a heart transplant patient here. One time they failed to give an accurate report for him to adjust his warfarin accordingly. Subsequently he suffered a stroke and had to have intracerebral hemorrhage surgery. My husband overlooked a lot of things and this hospital had the nerve to kick him off the transplant list. They called an old number and then said that since they couldn't get in touch with him he was non-complaint. I gathered so much proof to show that they were the ones who made an error. I got all the phone records and proof that we updated his information but it was evident that they just wanted to get rid of him. I wanted to sue so bad but I left them all to God. You should have been in that break up meeting. By the grace of God he got his transplant at an excellent hospital in CA.

We were at Vanderbilt before transferring to Mayo. This has been an amazing experience! It’s like it’s a requirement is to be super nice; Vanderbilt, not so much. I would recommend anyone to come here, and I’m so glad we chose to switch. The doctors, nurses, and even the staff (cafeteria, welcome center, etc) were by far nicer than Vanderbilt. They are so knowledgeable, thorough, and patient. Very impressed!!!

The Mayo Clinic is such a special place! It’s a medical facility that could also be a museum of art museum, history, and architecture. People travel from all over the world to be treated here, but what makes it truly special are the compassionate, skilled, and dedicated employees. I stood outside the Mayo Building and watched bus after bus pull up to the staff entrance - and watched countless everyday heroes get off those buses and go to work performing “miracles” at a place that provides hope to people who need it most.!!

I had a good experience with Mayo Clinic's cardiology service. From my initial inquiry, the cardiology team provided thorough explanations and reassured me about every procedure. The communication with the nursing and cardiac physiologists was excellent. I'm grateful for their professionalism and look forward to my tests next year.

Doctors are nice once you get there, but the administration is horrendous. Sometimes I have had to wait over two days to just receive a call back about booking an appointment. This is not something I would expect from the NHS, let alone an expensive private clinic. I have to call multiple times just to remind them to call me back, and god help you if you miss their call

Very expensive for not a full suite of tests. You just get told to exercise, take vitamins and reduce your weight and they may well not get to the bottom of your problem, unless you're happy to pay 'the sky's the limit' for all the extras. Communication is poor, staff foreign but pleasant.

The Cleveland Clinic is a different breed of hospital from the others I’ve been in. Everyone who participated in my care was thoughtful, well trained, and skillful. They’re a hub for up-to-date practices & medical knowledge. And the practitioners have exceptional levels of experience earned through high volumes of cases. Importantly, the staff seem well supported. So many members of staff went above & beyond. The cleaning staff made an origami elephant out of a towel when I first got there. The dining staff tailored meals for my specific needs and made a surprise cake for my birthday. Transport held good conversations while easily navigating. Nurses, technicians, etc adapted to limiting check-ins/procedures to the certain hours when I asked (to protect sleep). There’s museum quality art on nearly all the walls (good incentive to go on walks in the halls) and nice facilities. There were some bureaucratic challenges when I was first admitted, but in spite of that, I still evangelize to friends & relatives all the time - if you need more serious care, go to the Cleveland Clinic.

This place is a gift from above. It’s absolutely amazing how they put together the teams and staff that they have. My surgeon Dr. Faisal Bakaeen gave me a bypass (CABG) surgery and I cannot thank him enough. His team, the nurses and staff in this hospital from the emergency room to step-down are honestly the nicest people I have ever met in a hospital. They truly care and will not let you leave if your problems are not solved. This place is the real deal, don’t hesitate to get there opinion, I’m so glad that I did. My review is solely basednon the eait in the ER , as that is the only place we have seen after 3 hours of waiting. It is dirty, gross and the staff all hate humanity. They also have one restroom for the entire ER waiting room which currently houses 20 or so people waiting to be seen.

ZERO STARS IF I COULD!!!
Worst experience ever.
Father arrived to ER by ambulance around 1 PM for a heart attack!!
No doctor sees him until 5 PM.
Labs were done, notes taken for a cardiac consult and an echo cardiogram. Notes were taken but orders were never submitted!
So the next day was spent in a hospital room with NOTHING being done.
Echo finally done at 3PM. Doctor show up later and hasn't reviewed any notes or tests! He tells us now that they can't do the cath until Monday (this is currently Friday!!). If they had treated his heart attack as the emergency it was, they would have done the cath right away.
Nurse comes in at night with only 2 of the 6 medications needed for my father. Dosage is wrong! ER miswrote the notes for his medication!!
Something very wrong is happening here!!
Hoping this place doesn't kill my dad!!
Avoid at all costs!!
Cleveland Clinic has ruined the hospital!!

Horrible. Horrible experience!! If at all possible avoid this ER. Thought I was doing the right thing by calling 911 for my mother in order to have her seen asap.that might have been the case… but don’t plan on going back to be with your family member. Seriously! Insane the way I was treated. I begged everyone I could to please let me back there to be with my 78 yo mother. “Sorry.. not protocol” zero care from anyone I spoke to. No one cared that my mom was crying for me. They all just kept telling me it’s protocol to wait for an assigned doctor, that they were extremely busy. Well.. I keep pressing the issue and was finally allowed back. To an empty room, almost empty ER.. zero doctors around. Not busy as all. Disgusting the way I was treated. Horrible
They literally coukd care less. I’m sick to my stomach over how bad it went down

If I could give this hospital a 0 I would. The nursing care here on the 4th floor so far has been awful for my daughter. Just basic care and concern for patients would be appreciated. Hoping the night crew is better. The nurses are all out at the desk laughing it up and sharing their phone pics. No that I care about that but shouldn’t the patients come first? I’m afraid to leave my adult daughter here and go home because I’m not sure they will even check on her. Seriously. There are 2 people in this room. The patient next to my daughter hasn’t moved in the 3 hours we’ve been in here and no one has checked on her either. I asked for a pillow multiple times and they keep saying they’ll bring it but no one does. It’s not like I’m asking for an extra pillow. She has NO pillow. She needs her arm(that she had surgery on) elevated and I used a blanket. Really? I had to put a blanket behind her head. Thank goodness there are plenty of those on this desk by her bed. A stack of probably 8 blankets for some reason. Very disappointed Cleveland Clinic.

Majority of our experience here has been great, however since we spend most of our time in the Nicu with our baby boy, you would think that the nurses who are watching them follow some type of guide to respectfully work quietly so that the babies who needs rest can rest peacefully, but no! That’s not the case, they gossip out loud with one another, they slam drawers, trash lids, and more. Our kid has a heart condition so resting is the best thing for him to get him where he needs to be for his surgery. He is always startled or woken up by all of the noises going on. All I ask is that you guys respect the needs of the kids who needs to rest and try not to make so much noise or talk so loud, especially if is just about gossip. Thanks

UCLA should be ashamed to call itself a hospital . I placed a negative review of UCLA, Ronald Reagan Hospital A few days ago and I see it it has been removed.
First of all upon my arrival at the ER, after requesting That all of my doctors be within my network I was told by the person checking me in ( cold As a bottom of a rock ) it is against the law for him to tell me if the doctors are within network. Which I know is against the law in California.
This place is basically not any better, and has lower standards than any Third World country hospital. If I was able to give it a zero or even minus I would.
There was basically a dozen seats in the ER for waiting so as you are exposed to any illness.
I was seen after five hours for a heart problem
There is nowhere to charge your phone, so as to keep in touch with loved ones.
People are spread out and strewn throughout the hallways ( including tents, just outside the ER ) with no privacy and total humiliation.
The ER is full of homeless, looking for a place to sleep.
I will continue to post continuously, until my experience is not deleted.
If you have or care for your loved ones, do not bring them here like I said, this is below third world healthcare standards

I gave birth to my daughter here in early 2022 & will be giving birth here in early 2024. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else for OB care. I live in Tarzana so the drive while in labor was not fun & I could have gone to a much closer hospital but I trust UCLA Westwood more than any other ER/OB department & can’t imagine having gone elsewhere. The labor & delivery nurses are compassionate, informative & kind. My Dr. Is Dr. Zapata but she wasn’t on call when I gave birth so I saw another Dr, so sorry I don’t remember her name, but she was amazing and I felt in very capable & caring hands. I recommend this hospital for anyone I know who’s pregnancy for maternal & postpartum care. I’m very surprised the rating isn’t higher as overall the doctors are wonderful, up to date, the nurses are very capable & always warm in my experience. Also, it’s such a well maintained campus with updated equipment & very clean overall.

My partner Derek Baum underwent a small injection procedure at the Ramat Hayal hospital. I have no words for the level of care from the delightfully kind receptionist to the amazing nurse (Shira) and of course the doctor. Such a “pleasant” experience that I’m in awe of our wonderful Maccabi Health Service !! Thank you to all of the team who did Derek’s procedure this morning Wednesday 14th June

Supposed to be the best private hospital in Israel... I doubt it.
My recommendation - even if the doctors are great, don't go there for Mei Shafir. You will get an awful treatment of your case.
Let's start by the fact that they canceled the genetic consultant a week before the mei Shafir check.. and asked me to find a docteur (genetics specialist) that could see me in the next 3 days, so they could perform the check on time..
No help on their side to help me finding of course.
So now imagine yourself calling every hospital of Israel asking for a place in the next 3 days to see a specialist... and how stressed you are.
Found a place in Nahariya by chance. The specialist didn't even understand why I was being canceled from the beginning at asuta (what was found in my genetics tests was insignificant) .
Even the mei Shafir doctor didn't understand why the genetics consultant of asuta was ever canceled to me!!
Anyway check went well and today I am receiving the results... what a shame! 2 pages of results scanned, the second page cannot even be read. The first page is not clear.
That's such a shame and so embarrassing.
Anyway from my experience and people that went with asuta will confirm, your case with be handled by many people, no one has the same work process, no one will answer you clearly and on a same way.
Choosing asuta is choosing to add more stress to your life.

I had an outstanding experience with Dr. Tarinee for my LASIK SMILE surgery. Her professionalism, deep knowledge, and excellent communication skills, particularly in English, gave me immense confidence throughout the process.
Her patient-oriented approach stood out, as she was always ready to address my concerns, enhancing my trust in her expertise. It's now two months post-surgery, and I'm thrilled with the results. I'm free of inconveniences, seeing clearer than ever.
Dr. Tarinee is highly recommended for anyone contemplating LASIK surgery. Her surgical skill, along with her genuine care for patients, makes her the ideal choice. I'm truly grateful for her exceptional service.

Placed inside the hospital campus, the parking has disadvantages and advantages such as congestion at certain hours but accessibility for the disabled / baby trolleys /handicap. The place is crowded must time of the day with guests, patients and personnel. I visited in the evening when the pressure was moderate and there were free tables. The service was reasonable but not courteous, they do not offer to heat the pastries, there is no strict hand hygiene when passing between the cash register and the food, the tables, were dirty, the trash cans were full, the floor was dirty from leftover food, high prices. Due to being a private business that rents out the place, there is no supervision by the hospital despite being supervised by the Ministry of Health. Too bad and that's the case for the visitors to judge.

I've done a hand surgery by Doctor Teh Kok Kheng. Doctor was super friendly and knowledgable to explain everything in a casual way, even play my favourite Hong Kong singer - Alan Tam songs throughout the surgery process to calm me down, my blood pressure was drop immediately from 196 to 140, haha.
Therefore, I highly suggest that hospital should allow to play some music while doing treatment, it's a super efficient way to calm a patient, trust me!
Nurses and staffs are very friendly as well, the whole process goes smoothly and I am very satisfied with the service so far. Thank you doctor and the team!

Everything was great. The place and environment really good and have the best doctors. But, I get different information from clinic, MRI and cashier staff. It’s not synchronize. Communication between them is bad. It will be the 5 star if, all the information and system are standardize. Thank you

I’ve been in the er waiting room for 3 1/2 hrs now and haven’t been seen yet and when I got here there wasn’t any one else here. now it’s full of patients. I worked in an er for years so I understand the situation and process of seeing patients but just because I wasn’t bleeding and wasn’t screaming in pain I was put on the back burner.

My wife has been coming here for long time because she has a pacemaker/ defibrillator for over ten years. Couldn't tell there was anything wrong with other than that. September 7, she had an amulet placed in her heart because she couldn't take blood thinners. Week later she had lost 4 pints of blood. They had to repair the leak. While she was in surgery they did CPR on her. Not blaming anyone for that. On November 16 she was transferred to heart hospital because she built up with fluid. We were in there for 11 days and everyday I asked them what the game plan was. It was always still trying to get the fluid off. Nothing else was ever brought up to me about them trying to do anything different but giving her diuretics. NOTHING!! I'm not a doctor or nurse and I sure don't know every question to ask. They sure as hell didn't offer any information. Dr Lane was even going to send her home 9 days later. We told him no. Not until we knew what was going on. A day later her defibrillator shocked her because her heart rhythm went crazy. Never told us how bad her heart was. Two days later they still just said they had to get the fluid off. Did find out that my wife had stage 3 kidney failure. Also had to ask them to check her liver enzymes since they were doing blood work every day. Found out she had cirrhosis of liver but that's all the ultrasound showed. They never told me there were other options they could do to try and help her heart. I finally got my daughter-in-law up there that's a nurse practitioner. She got in and started going over everything asking questions about the other options that was never mentioned to me. She had more information in 15 minutes that they had given me in 11 days. That's just tells me that they don't care about all of their patients. Over at Baptist now and has gotten more done in 4 days than they did in 2 weeks. Got 30 pounds of fluid off in 4 days. Her heart is still real weak but getting a little stronger each day. These people actually seem like they care about their patients. Especially her cardiologist. She takes time to talk to us and explains what they can and can't do. I think GOD that my daughter-in-law came or my wife would have been dead. Don't need any excuses from anyone at heart hospital. Don't want to hear that you're sorry for what happened either. I already know how sorry you are.

My 1st appointment with Dr. Lo was on 06/28. I was given an EKG and after reading the results and consulting with me regarding my medical history, Dr. Lo listened to my heart and was able to get me approved for an Echocardiogram and lab work immediately 2 hours later. Getting 3 tests performed in 3 different departments in the same building on my 1st appointment was not only convenient but crucial. I received a call 24 hours later and was advised that I have a complete heart block and that Dr. Lo wanted me back immediately and scheduled me for surgery Monday 07/03. It's been 6 weeks since I received ER heart surgery and a pacemaker to save my life. Thank you Dr. Monica Lo and your team at the Arkansas heart hospital for going above and beyond for a new patient that was literally on borrowed time. I am truly blessed to have you as my cardiologist. I highly recommend Dr. Lo and her team at the AHH. Leicha Wilkerson

Not as professional and friendly as they promote, all about earning money from you or your insurance but with very little care or treatment. All year with appointments and specialist for cancer an tumours ,scan after scan but not any diagnosis or treatment and suffering with swollen eye, colour change, nose and cheek burning pain and insane pressure on head and face but still no help , even though colour change on scan for my rights side of brain , cyst inside my face and gigantic problem at the back of my head and they say no problem and haven’t operated or treated. I hope I’m not dying but still don’t have any diagnosis or confirmation of anything. Now thinking I need to go to another country for help ? Wouldn’t recommend to nobody?? Avoid this hospital! I had to visit the hospital because of a sinus infection, but was rushed into several entirely useless procedures just to hike up the bill. The whole experience was horrible with unfriendly and rude staff. However, the worst part was that a nurse stole 340 euros from my purse in my handbag that I left in the examination room with the nurse when I was pushed into a toilet for another useless test. The hospital operations reeks of scamming people in every possible way. Despicable behaviour preying on people in a vulnerable situation.

Avoid this hospital
My husband was admitted to this hospital in 2021, 2022 and 2 days ago.
In 2021 I visited him on a Sunday, and he was on the floor (with a broken leg) trying to get onto the sofa, to get out of the window as he was hallucinating. He was on the second floor! The window was then closed and locked but no-one had noticed my husband on the floor, which is a worry. I then had to push for a brain scan, which, according to Xanit showed nothing abnormal.
He has now been diagnosed with dementia at Guadalhorce hospital, so I chose to go private again to make things happen faster.
We saw a neurologist at Xanit who said he should be hospitalised.
When we arrived at the hospital it took over 20 minutes to park as the car park was full, then when we got to reception there were almost 35 people in front of us. We were over an hour late to get to our appointment and then the computers went down!!!
We had to go down to Urgencias to be admitted. They told me he had to go to a hospital in Malaga. I then had to go back to the neurologist, as Urgencias refused to call him, and he told them to admit my husband. There was an amazing lack of communication, and the girl who was in triage was basically rude. We were then subjected to a 2/3 hour wait, then taken to a surgical ward where the nurses all moaned about the fact he was being taken into this hospital.
I speak and understand Spanish so was very aware of the things being said and I am absolutely horrified at how we were treated.
He was hospitalised on Wednesday, and we were told he would get an MRI and CT scan. My husband was aggressive, and I was told I had to stay with him 24/7. This is not why I’m paying private health insurance. I was told there are insufficient nurses to deal with all the patients they have, so I had to stay.
The MRI and CT scan didn’t happen as the machine had broken down!!! My husband was very agitated, and the neurologist and I agreed he would be better at home. Therefore, we had to make an appointment for the MRI and CT scan (29th November) I waited over an hour to make this appointment, while my husband was in his hospital room. There were 6 people in front of me, and one person in reception, who decided to deal with people who jumped the queue and one friend (I think Fran was his name).
Reception staff are awful and provide terrible customer service. They wander away on their phones when they feel like it and don’t appreciate that people visiting the hospital may be dealing with life and death situations. They are abysmal and need training.
I see from these reviews this has been going on for over a year, so I’m not sure if my comments will make any difference at all.
Absolutely shocking service.
On a brighter note, when you actually get to see a specialist, they are amazing.

Sorry, tragedy. Palliative ward ... as it was 17 years ago, so it is today ... nurses with no care, despite the fact that people lying there press the button they have .... The head physician, despite questions about the course of treatment, gives evasive answers .... the person has a large dose of oxygen to she could breathe normally .... The head physician said that the dose of oxygen should be reduced .... after 4 hours no one checked anything about the patient .... when we arrived after 4 hours the person we came to and took care of was suffocating because she had no oxygen .... THE DYING ROOM is the Pleszew hospital after 24 hours DEATH ... Totally zero when it comes to care in this department.

FOR FOREIGNERS
I had the worst experience at this hospital emergency yesterday. Over 5 hours i waited with 38 degrees fever and pain. The people working at the hospital especially the doctor with her assistant were super racist to me! Whenever i ask for help or try to understand why is the numbers always going with wrong order they didnt give me a proper answer instead they were being super racist and rude to me also they push me to the corridor. I paid around 80 euros because they didnt accept my insurance and it is said to me all doctors can speak in English because it has a foreign department but the doctor forced me to use google translate with a loud voice. They were reprimanding me as if im a kid. This hospital is a huge disaster the woman doctor who is taking care with me was a horrible doctor i had to go back to my country for getting a better health service and she misdiagnosed, not surprised because she didnt even ask for any analysis…Thank god im so much better after the correct medications. If you are tourist please for your own health do NOT visit this hospital…

Shocked at the rude behavior of the staff! They kept calling out the wrong ticket number, and then came out and shouted at me for not responding. Talked down at me and made me feel guilty and ashamed for coming in for an urgent prescription that I needed which, apparently, is a "non-emergency," after I willingly waited for over 4 hours. But I'm not registered with a gp yet because of a complicated situation, which they wouldn't care to understand. Moreover they charge you 90 kc in spite of having Czech health insurance. One of the doctors even loudly demanded that I show her the receipt (proof of payment) first and foremost! Had really expected much better than this!
