I have been tryi by to call the clinic for the whole week.I have a problem with my registration and I wanted to clear that up. After one week somebody answered… my french is not perfect and the staff on the phone couldn’t wait until I noted the correct phone number. They just hanged up and I still don’t have a number. It would have been hilarious if it wasn’t like a serious medical place.

In the first case, it was about our grandmother, who was already in advanced age and her state of health was unstable. This fact is understandable in our perception, but the second case hurts us immensely. Recently, here in this department, a young patient from our family died suddenly, without warning and without a clear explanation. We leave these experiences with a lot of unanswered questions. Despite our repeated attempts to get answers and clarity from the hospital management and Dr. Dovalova, we were ignored. At a time when we would have expected empathy and transparency, we were met with reluctance and silence. I would therefore like to express my concern and warn other families. Trust in medical professionals is key, but it is important to remember that we have a right to be informed and to demand answers. Do not ignore any doubts or ambiguities that may arise about the health status of your loved ones. Please, if you find yourself in a similar situation, don't play with fire. If you have suspicions or misunderstandings, do not hesitate to contact the relevant authorities. In moments of unexpected loss of a beloved family member, we must not be silenced. Please keep us in your prayers and thank you in advance for your support and understanding during this difficult time.

Those who work in surgery should be ashamed of themselves. Care is worth nothing. My grandmother is lying in the dirt, the sheet is pure blood and disinfectant, the blood is smeared on her hands. At the Šumperk hospital, we have been dealing with abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, fevers and vomiting for two months. During the sono examination in the emergency room, the attending physician repeatedly said that there was no problem, despite the visible hernia. We will know the results of the colonoscopy 6 weeks after the examination, while the problems are still ongoing. Lax approach, lack of interest in patient comfort.

From October 10-12, I was under medical treatment at the hospital's urology department. I only had to wait a little over a month for the operation under spinal anesthesia. I can only praise both the doctors and the nursing staff (there was one exception). Their professional preparation and human attitude made it much easier to get through the often vulnerable and humiliating situations. Since I am otherwise in good physical condition, I tried to be a "good patient" as well, but those who were more down than me were also treated fairly patiently. Could this be the "ruined" Hungarian healthcare system? Or was I the only one being given VIP treatment without my knowledge, as part of a secret conspiracy?

Today's experience On September 10, 2023, we brought my uncle to the Department of Vascular Surgery. 11.9. they are going to operate on him in the morning. The experience happened when the nurses were admitting him to the room, one of them said come, you can go, because it was visiting hours and there were two of us with him, we wanted to unpack him in the room, but when I was walking through the corridor, there was a shout, where are we supposed to go? That we are supposed to go to Kaufland..., I don't understand, one says she can and the other is a rude, disgusting woman, I can't call her a nurse. How to treat relatives of patients? How serious? I'm a psychologist and I can't afford to treat people like this, to anyone. This has nothing to look for in a hospital, you need to communicate tactfully and work with humility in hospitals. It's sad, you want to help your relatives, right? I just wanted to carry my bag and you are blamed for it in the hospital, where that understanding should not be missing.

I felt really well looked after in the maternity ward, almost everyone was very friendly. The midwives and pediatricians were also very nice and competent. I had to have 2 children there with cesarean section, both were very well looked after, Dr. Höllmüller and the surgical team were great, unfortunately the only major drawback was that the anesthesia didn't work and I was in a lot of pain during the cesarean section. The Dr. worked very quickly, was very sensitive and talked to me a lot during the operation. Thank you for the loving care. Just please look around for other anesthesiologists...

My hospital of choice for the birth of our greatest treasure! We felt like we were in the best and safest place we could possibly be (even with an emergency c-section). The subsequent support was also excellent, everyone took time for us and supported us. The food is also first class! What particularly fascinated me was how much everyone there loves their job and thrives in it. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

We needed a wheelchair for a patient with a disability. You will be sent to the department where you are to be treated at the Utgen primary. In our case, the 15th floor. On the 15th, they told us that we should ask for a wheelchair at the central department. Then go back downstairs and convince the staff there to lend it to us. Ingeniously solved services for patients who waited outside in winter for 35 minutes leaning against a pillar because they couldn't move. It's a shame that I can't post a photo of this communist truck!!!

I came here with a broken foot but I was denied treatment because I don’t speak Slovak.

If I could give zero star I would. This is for the emergency service. I woke up this morning with pain in my right hip joint that gradually got worse to the point where I could not sit, bend over, or walk. I could only use the toilet standing up, and could not make any movement from that hip joint and leg at all. My whole leg would feel numb when attempting to walk. Around 10 pm the pain got so bad, I almost called the ambulance. I have been a nurse for 9 years in the hospital setting, I know something is very wrong. I took some pain medications and laid down for 4 hours to have the pain decrease enough to go to the hospital. Thankfully this hospital is across the street for me, so I thought I would use the little strength I had to walk over and be taken care of. The lady at the desk looked at me, checked me in, then called me back up to tell me the doctor will not see me because it is not an emergency. And gave me a list of doctors offices that I could go to. I was not given the decency to be seen or assessed by a doctor, or even a nurse. My hip literally feels like I have dislocated it. What is the sense of going to a doctor’s office when they don’t have xray or any imaging machines? This hospital/ and it’s staff should be ashamed of itself. I would not recommend anyone going here. You will not be taken seriously. I work at Erasmus MC, it is further away, but I will try my luck there in the morning. PS: I just moved to Netherlands a week and a half ago, and started work a week ago. My insurance has not yet been activated but I explained that I could pay out of pocket and had no issues doing so. I would like not to think this could have been a reason I was turned away. But my interaction with the receptionist and the questions she placed emphasis on has left me wondering.

What a fantastic ER and 1st floor ICU staff. We cannot thank them enough for the care they provided to their patients and address the patients' family's concern. My 80 years old dad that was brought to the ER from another facility in a critical condition and Dr. Mole from the ER provided great care and took the time to call us to give updates. When my dad was shift to the ICU under Dr. Tiu's care she was very easy to talk to. She called us daily to report on my dad's health status. We are so grateful to the doctors, nurses for the amazing care they provide their patients especially given the pandemic. They listen to the families concerns, suggestions when we advocate for our dear ones. They work as a team with the family to help the patient. Thank you for your hard work, dedication and care.

Didn’t have nice experience in this hospital at all! Although the doctors and nurses (some of them) were super nice we spent altogether 13 hours in the general surgery ward in the 5th floor and all they did in this time is took blood and urine analysis and did ultrasound diagnostic. It was 37 degrees outside and the person in pain did not drink or eat all this time!!! When I went arguing with them it turned out that the result was long time ready, they just didn’t feel like calling us, of course the reason of pain wasn’t found and we were sent home without any treatment or diagnosis. Not only they left the person in pain they MADE him wait the whole day after which he got worse.

I was referred by my family doctor with a problem related to water balance. I spent two days in the internal medicine department on the 4th floor of building B as an ambulatory patient. The four stars are because, despite the circumstances, the nurses and doctors stayed where they are and try to make the best of the situation, but it cannot be denied that the conditions are terrible. The department can only provide three meals a day, which is surprisingly good compared to the conditions, bedding, a bed, depending on the supply, infusion and adult diapers, medical examinations, water and electricity. Everything else must be brought, including toilet paper, bottled water, cutlery, hand soap, and towels. As an outpatient, for a short time, for a complete examination, it is worth it, but not for an incontinent patient, and I definitely do not recommend hospitalization for an incontinent AND problematic patient. Several people wrote that the nurses do not deal with the patients, are not helpful and treat the patients like prisoners. Yes, this is true in many cases, but personally, if I had to work in such conditions, for such wages, I would behave in the same way, if not worse.

The worst hospital that anyone can go to. I have no idea why the emergency reception is like this. I went there with a bad situation and I had to wait a couple of hours to be visited by a doctor. It's really funny how the situation is like there. Unfortunately, there are not many options in the city when you get sick during the weekend ie Saturday. At first, I went to the med campus and they said the only option is this hospital. After a couple of hours of waiting my condition got worse and I decided to come back home. Just go there if you are about to die otherwise staying at home is much better.

Hospitals should hire more suitable doctors. In my opinion, clinics that deal with sensitive things, where patient has take off their clothes when required, there should be male and female doctors. Because not many people feel comfortable having to undress to be examined by a doctor of the opposite gender. Also there are many cases that the docter is not doing what he should do.

A shame from the moment you enter, I was splitting with pain, the woman who was at the reception had 0 empathy, like the nurse who treated me, I used to find more service vocation in a veterinarian. Yesterday I was with my daughter for an ultrasound in the mother's unit, room S-17. My appointment was at 11:48. I was treated by an excellent professional. I was greatly surprised by his professionalism, empathy, and gratitude for his treatment of my daughter. Same as nurses and other professionals. This is the real reason for being doctors to put themselves in the patient's shoes. I don't know what the doctor's name was, thank you for being such a great professional. !!!!Thank you so much!!!!.

It would be nice to start doing something with the parking spaces, there are few of them, drivers stand where they shouldn't and block the passage of ambulances. The institution itself is great, but due to the ill-conceived parking for so many people, I give it 3*.

Good day everyone. I have been here for more than three days for radiation. And I am very satisfied with how the doctors are very kind in all respects and the nurses are the same. And they cook very well here, so I also thank the chefs or cooks who cook here and the kitchen support staff. And I also thank all the sanitary workers for their willing actions. It was great here. There's a good people and there's a very bad people, but the hospital has to make a Training courses for workers to deal with patients and should be attention to patients' complaints. I wonder how a kind docteur like Dr Ilenko Anna has a secretary like that🤷🏻‍♀️ her secretary is a very tough person😬 Violent, aggressive👽 and attacker😡 She does not respect the patients😡 and believes that they are her slaves😈 and that she works for free not for money, and that she works in her own institution or in her home.

I can't thank all the staff at The Christie enough. I had a minor procedure with them and during my time there felt truly cared for and supported. I was kept up to date every step of the way, my doctor and the nurses all listened to me, answered questions and I'll be forever grateful for their help!

I cannot praise The Christie too much. Although I'd rather not have to visit there, the amazing team make it so much easier and I actually look forward to seeing them. They are efficient, caring, compassionate, honest and help me so much. If I want to talk, someone is always available, my specialist nurse always gets back to me if I have an issue or need results.
