Acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL) is a type of cancer of the blood and bone marrow, characterized by the rapid production of abnormal lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell. It is most commonly found in children, but can occur in adults. Symptoms may include fatigue, frequent infections, bleeding easily, fever, and bone pain. Treatment typically involves chemotherapy, and may also include radiation therapy, targeted therapy, and stem cell transplants, depending on the patient's specific characteristics and response to treatment.
